Let me know if it's any good, it's been on my MU Amazon wishlist since they talked about it.
So here's a list of libraries that have From the Mundane to the Magnificent and The Vertical Plane. You may be able to contact the institutions directly to see if they can loan you the book or look into an inter-library loan service at your local library. There's likely to be a fee attached to either option, but probably a bit less than the going price on Amazon.
Try this.

Otherwise they’ve kind of stopped supporting the app. You should migrate over to a different app to listen to the show. This can be done with the RSS feed they offer all plus members. If you’re not a plus member download a podcast app, I recommend PocketCasts, and search for MU and subscribe through that app.
After listening to an episode with the author being interviewed, I had to buy https://www.amazon.com.au/Behind-Cosmic-Veil-Spiritual-Supernatural/dp/0983766304
Fascinating book and a great ep. I can’t remember which one it was though sorry.
Wasn't really into this one. No offense, but it should have been a Corona follow-up, considering there is a report debunking the "China made Corona" theory
What is disturbing is when they closed by saying media are causing (or whatever word they used or inferred) Corona panic, which to me IMPLIES that Corona is not that serious. I know that's not what they believe, but I am really tired of hearing circles of conservatives, conspiracy theorists, libertarians, and anarcho-capitalists blaming the media for overdoing it. Don't tell me to calm the f down when the world is crumbling.
I believe you're thinking of Remarkable Healings by Shakuntala Modi.
Remarkable Healings: A Psychiatrist Discovers Unsuspected Roots of Mental and Physical Illness https://www.amazon.com/dp/1571740791/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_fabc_5KM2S6QEWFTSNDSV2GZD?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
It is on Amazon as it was re released in paperback On Amazon
Here is another book with similar stories, the guys reference it in that WIB ep.
Walking Among Us David M. Jacobs PhD

I don't remember that one specifically, but this book covers some of that area https://www.amazon.com/Chaos-Charles-Manson-History-Sixties/dp/0316477559
I think I found it by going through my MU wishlist on Amazon.

I can't find a description of the book anywhere though https://www.amazon.com/dp/0877285047/
If you're on Android, I would recommend Smart Audiobook Player
I got it initially for actual audio books and audio plays (Big Finish Doctor Who stuff) but found that it works really good for podcast archives as well. Just put the folder in whatever directory you have set as root and boom, you've got a 70+ hour "audiobook" that automatically saves wherever you stop and supports things like sleep timers and stuff.
The UK version of Amazon has both paperback and Kindle copies listed. Not exactly sure how it works if you're ordering from out of the country, though.
Too long to explain, unfortunately. The story was covered in two plus episodes. There's a book, though:
I posted the dinosaur since I thought it was funnier, but this one seems a better fit for Ben and Aaron: Yaway version from amazon.
Thought of another one today, it's a fairly quick (and cheap) and interesting read. https://www.amazon.com/Latitude-33-Kingdom-Walter-Bosley-ebook/dp/B00STAMFG0 they talked about it sometime last year.
