Now we both can enjoy the blessings of the bone juice vessel. With straw!
i dont know where you live but this is what i found, also yeah i know it's nestle but it's for demonstrative purposes only
Edit: changed I to you
People think big dairy is a conspiracy and milk is actually bad for you. Big dairy isn't great, but that doesn't mean everything they say is a lie. Milk is good for you and doesn't steal calcium from your bones. That's been debunked. So much vegan anti dairy conspiracy bs getting upvoted here.

From the article- "The amount of calcium lost in the urine from drinking a glass of milk is trivial compared with the amount of calcium coming in, says Connie Weaver, PhD, head of foods and nutrition at Purdue University in West Lafayette, Ind. "For every gram of protein you eat, you lose 1.75 milligrams of calcium." Using this calculation, since each glass of milk provides 8 grams of protein, you'll lose 14 out of 300 milligrams of calcium per glass -- which doesn't seem so bad. In fact, because the average American consumes approximately 75 grams of animal protein a day (though of course not all from milk), you'll still take in more calcium than you lose by drinking just one glass of milk (you'll consume 300 milligrams of calcium and only lose 131 milligrams)."
Yeah, I remember the journey to figure that out. I didn’t know what they were at first, thought the nurse just meant “non-sticky,” so I just put regular gauze and ace wrappings on. Didn’t know there a specially engineered non adhesive gauze pad available for purchase, which could be applied to the wound using either tape or by being wrapped under ace bandages. I ended up preferring tape, it allowed for a greater range of motion. And besides, I use medical tape all the time in EMS, so I had like fifty rolls lying around.
Here’s the general supplies I suggest: (sizing may vary for your wound, and brand doesn’t matter; get what is cheap and available:)
(Figure out which of the two works best for you through trial and error)
And for the non adhesive dressings, try CVS/Walgreens ones, or whatever your local pharmacy is. And buy a lot. Change them whenever you shower. They will still have some skin sticking at first, but it gets better.
Thanks.
From that article, 4th paragraph in: "Fortified soy milk is nutritionally equivalent to cow’s milk and is an acceptable alternative."
Ready to have some fun now?
Okay, go to https://cronometer.com/, add 100g of any cows milk and compare it to 100g of plant based milks. I chose almond milk, as your link said only soy milk is sufficient. Almond milk had more calcium, iron, vitamin A, D, B1, B2, phosphorus and potassium.
It was lower in a couple of things though; sodium and saturated fat.
Try it yourself. It's good to put the propaganda to the test.
This was some years ago, all healed up now. The metal stays in though.
I had upper and lower done (mandibular advancement and lefort I osteotomy). I've heard only having the lower isn't nearly as bad. There's a big nerve in the jaw that gets jostled in the process, you will have a lot of numbness. Don't worry, it should all come back. It can take months. For me, if you could draw a line from the corners of my mouth outward, everything below it was numb. It all came back over maybe 6 months. You can still control everything, talk fine, eat, etc.
For the surgery your mouth is held open for the duration. Of course you're out for all of this, but it can make your lips get swollen for days afterward. I highly recommend you get a tub of Aquaphor to slather on your lips all the time. It's amazing stuff. I still use it for chapped lips to this day.
If you have to eat only liquids, personally I really enjoyed vanilla Ensure Plus. It has a whole bunch of calories, but I still lost weight. However, I never got tired of the taste. Always loved it. As things healed I had mashed potatoes, pudding, grits, scrambled eggs, mashed potatoes...first meat I had was meatloaf, that was glorious. Have some menu options in mind.
Around 10 days after surgery, if you didn't know me, you wouldn't have known I had anything going on. It was pretty amazing. But I did have visible swelling (noticeable by me and people close to me) for months after, mainly around my lower jaw and below my chin. Not a big deal.
I transcended the plains of Earth and retrieved the mouse from the Gods themselves.
