You can download complications suite , it allows you to add seconds complications to any watchface that supports complications.
'Energy Monitor' I've never been able to make myself pull the trigger on a subscription, but the free tier seems to be all I need. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=strange.watch.longevity.ion
You gotta download it from the play store, here is the link to the app.
You do, however, have to pay for the premium option (one time payment) to get all the features.
I did something similar with a plug in charger for the buds using this one: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B082X6N8PD
I think I like this one better because of the wireless buds option. On mine I had to use a lightning to usb adapter which brings the buds up off the stand and almost touching the watch, and it sometimes comes off the charger instead of the buds making it more cumbersome to dock and undock them.
Add one of these Samsung charging stands. The pixel puck is the same size. And it'll match your Google Pixel charger.
In UK you can get metal and quite heavy here: https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B0BLZ9H3NT/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1 feel more solid then Google ones
I personally ordered some of these from AliExpress for a fraction of the price Amazon wants, but after putting one on my watch, I ordered another half dozen (different colors) for when/if this one breaks. It's been just over a month and this thing has yet to scratch, get dirty or crack and I have bumped it into various things. The photos make it look a LOT clunkier than it actually is. I highly, highly recommend this. And from AliExpress. But here's the Canadian amazon link:
https://www.amazon.ca/Miimall-Compatible-Anti-Scratch-Shockproof-Protective/dp/B0BLBYPTMT
You just have to press it bit hard to insert the puck into the cutout. It stays fixed after that.
Link Amazon AU
I want (need) it..matches my phone case :) just need to find spare £15!
odd that I couldn't find that by searching amazon, but I did find this also by them https://www.amazon.com/Spigen-Designed-Google-Pixel-Watch/dp/B0BL8B2HQM
I found another one on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/Compatible-Google-Silicone-Waterproof-Transparent/dp/B0BNKZ3CMD/ref=sr\_1\_3?keywords=Clear+Google+Pixel+Watch+Bands&qid= 1671094554&sr=8-3
Here is the same thing on Amazon for a lot less money.
I can confirm 100% that this 3rd party charger/stand works!! I've been using it for over a month now every night!
HOWEVER, on more than a couple occassions Ive woken up to a watch that had to be powered on. I assume that means the overheating protection kicked in and it powered off the watch..??? But it charges it.
There is a magnet in the stand too which SORT OF holds the watch onto the stand, but its not quite perfect and therefore is easy for it to be sat not quite, where it needs to be. Just make sure its correctly seated and charging though and it works!

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0894TL5JG/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s02?ie=UTF8&th=1
Looks like the other ones that are available just with the button added on and a built-in screen protector. Interesting, many colors available too.
I assume it's this one? https://www.amazon.com/Miimall-Compatible-Anti-Scratch-Shockproof-Transparent/dp/B0BLC64NSP/
I bought a pack of these for my watch and feel a ton more secure about little scratches or nicks. It's almost completely undetectable on the watch too. A bit tricky to install correctly, but you get 3 of them if you screw it up.
I got a silicone one off Amazon, the listing is still in stock, and the rubber looks better on the one I received. I agree the fit is really good with the charging puck.
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BM8RXFWV
This three-in-one charger works perfectly to charge the watch, however you do get that error message on the watch that says it won't charge.
I'll be using it for about 3 weeks now successfully charging my watch every day. My only question is if there is some type of long-term battery performance issue that could be being charged because perhaps this charger can't intelligently trickle the charge once it reaches 100%. I have no idea about how any of that works but I again can confirm with certainty for a few weeks now this charger will charge a pixel watch.

Probably not.
A little background: Many smart watches have the same band-attachment coming in different widths (e.g. this band) . However, Google made a custom one, that 'melts' into the watch (which I pretty like).
Afaik Apple also has his custom attachment. So you woudln't be able to use the apple-bands with most smart watches.
HOWEVER: I've seen multiple people showing adapters between the standard attachment and google watches. Maybe there are adapters between google and apple. But for that you'll have to search the web and trust stores like Aliexpress.
Hi, sorry, i kept posting the Amazon link and reddit kept eating it while both not telling me and displaying my posts with the link still.
I bought this Galaxy Watch 5 charger stand and it works great. it's a slightly stretchy silicon and it fits the PW charger without looking like there's much bulge.
I recently got this stand from Spigen. The charger opening is too small for the Pixel watch, which sucks, but it is a pretty easy fix to make that a bit bigger.
I'm trying these right now
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BLNHCCV6
First attempt was misaligned and didn't work. Second try it's working great and offers more protection than the flat ones. The only nic on my watch was on the curved part of the glass so it's nice that it's covered and protected now.
Seems like they do offer replacements if you can't get them aligned correctly.
There are adapters you can find that allow you to use ordinary bands. Ex: https://www.amazon.com/Connectors-Stainless-Connection-Adapter-Accessory/dp/B0BLN98V3Q/ref=mp_s_a_1_19?crid=H97BF64VSH0R&keywords=pixel+watch+20+m+band+adapter&qid=1669741444&sprefix=pixel+watch+20+m+band+adapter+%2Caps%2C95&sr=8-19

ok, so I've just tried both the Anker 335 (folding) and the Anker 333. I realised that I don't actually know how to accurately measure the Wattage, but with the Ampere app the 355 was giving me max 520mA charge, and with the 333 I was getting max 1980mA. This was with the same wall charger powering both.
I'd say definitely go for the 333 model. I wonder if it's the folding design that means the speed is lower. The 333 is a bigger unit but doesn't have a big bright blue light on the front, so might be better for bedrooms.
also 50% off at Amazon at the moment. and includes this charger I think
Thanks for this. I've ended up ordering this stand as in the UK the one most people are buying isn't available (it also looks like the different layout means earbuds won't obscure the watch): https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B09HBCJBJJ/ref=pe_27063361_485629781_TE_item
Would be interested if anyone has experience with this version of the stand.
I'll try to get your adapter printed if I can find someone with a printer and see if it fits.
Do you happen to know the model number of the 10w charging version. I'm in the UK and the only one I can find is this which also claims only 5W and seems different to the non-folding version people in the US are buying : https://www.amazon.co.uk/Anker-Wireless-Foldable-Charging-Included/dp/B09KZCN82C/ref=asc_df_B09KZCN82C/?tag=googshopuk-21&linkCode=df0&hvadid=570499407731&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=7279893181466630629&hvpone=&hvptwo=&h...
For overnight charging that's probably fine but if 10W is possible I'd prefer that of course.
I ordered these on Nov 17th and they arrived on the 23rd. I actually don't have any third party 20mm watch bands laying around, so I had to order a 20mm to 22mm adapter from etsy that should be arriving the first week of December.
So far these lugs feel solid, the connector parts look well cut. And when I tested it on my watch it felt snug, but I got scared for a second that I couldn't easily slide it off, but I'll blame that on not having a watch band attached to give me a better grip.
https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B0BLYM7RBG?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details
Well these are kinda acceptable. I've fitted these and while the first one came of after like 5minutes, the second one protects my watch finely for already 3 weeks https://www.amazon.de/Google-Pixel-Watch-Anti-Scratch-Anti-Reflection/dp/B0BJ96SS7D/ref=mp_s_a_1_14?adgrpid=141677309225&gclid=CjwKCAiAyfybBhBKEiwAgtB7fuvBISZbi5WemuxQ4bGmyvshPs477YtPQXaxbpygVDnpq6opX1DK8BoCNqMQAvD_BwE&hvadid=627467809586&...

Does anyone know whether the model B2598311 would also work? The one posted here is completely sold out here in the Netherlands. And shipping it in seems wastefull. https://www.amazon.nl/dp/B09KZ8P1SF/ref=aod_recs_mobile_prsubs_5

The watch charger has a male USB-C connector while this Anker charger has a female USB A connector. So to plug the watch charger into the built in port you'll need something like this.
https://www.amazon.co.uk/GIOPUEY-Compatible-Google-Pixel-Watch/dp/B0BJTQ9KJG/
I would recommend going with a different one if you can find one though; this one has a problem with the button next to the crown so it's super hard to push in. I had to add a small piece of rubber underneath it and it works fine now, but not ideal. Good otherwise.
Here's the listing I found on Amazon for it: Screen Protector Case Compatible for Google Pixel Watch | Tempered Glass Screen Protector PC Watch Case | Smartwatch Screen Cover Film Protective Case for Google Pixel Watch
I am getting a similar one tonight, if I can, I'll try to get you measurements( assuming no one has done this ). I ordered this stand, since I'm using a magsafe case on my Pixel 7 pro, but I suspect the watch ring is the same on all the anker stands

I go for the cheap and cheerful TPU fullscreen shock proof cases
I use watchmaker personally. For an individual watch face, I used this one before I got around to making one to match my phone theme.
If you install Accubattery on your phone and enable notifications for it on your watch, it should notify you.
I have mine set to 80% and it pings me when it hits that point.
Alternatively, if you have the Pixel Minimal Watch Face (premium version) you can enable the battery % icon so you'll know what level it is at, at all times.

Be aware though, when I went for my afternoon walk up and down local hills, my pulse should have been around 120-130 - it showed 78, as did the Fitbit app tracking my walk. When I finished the walk, Fitbit showed zero calories burned, zero BPM, etc. I removed the watch face, restarted my phone and went for another walk. Got the correct results.
I know it asked for perms for something when activated but I didn't pay attention. I'll install it again tomorrow and see if I can replicate the issue.
I opted for this
I got this one made by Orzero. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BK3LB7FD
Inexpensive works well and cannot tell it is fitted.
My recommendation would be to get him any one of the inexpensive film protectors, so he can start out with some form of protection against scratches. Then if he wants to later, he can switch to one of the more imposing options that effect the aesthetic, like the Rinke.
I'm about to order some, not sure how long they'll tak eto get to me in the US but one of my first things to do when it arrives is I can see if it works on top of a little TPU film protector I already have on the watch, I can report back if you'd like.
I bought the watch day one. The large band was too small for me, I had to drill my own hole in the strap. I bought this watch from amazon and I now use the third from last hole. I have only had the new strap for a few days but seems fine so far.
I was second from the last hole on my Galaxy Watch 46mm Classic.
Not a chime but I love this app that will add a persistent notification on your phone of the watches battery level and will let you know when it's fully charged. Both apple watch and Samsung watch (with Samsung phone) do this out of the box and more elegantly, but this serves its purpose well for me https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.zenbarrier.wearfull&hl=en_US&gl=US
Some watch faces are already capable of that. Eg. 'Pixel Minimal Watch Face' https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.benoitletondor.pixelminimalwatchface
But I am not sure if this affects Watch battery a bit.
Phone as Bluetooth key, so you can walk up to your car with the phone in your pocket and it automatically unlocks.
And there's a couple of WearOS apps that emulate this so you can use your watch instead: Watt Key and Drive Electric
Marine Commander is as close as I have been able to come to my all time favorite Ranger, but its not quite the same.
I don't care for all these stock pastel type colors
I'm a big fan of Pixel Minimal but I'm currently running Radii and really liking it
i'd get this instead
just waste the first one trying to see how to get it on. You should get it on perfectly on 2nd attempt. It offers so much protection and add the ringke case on top of it
I bought this wireless charger from Amazon. It comes with an 18W USB A to C charger and cable. You also need a USB A to C adapter for the internal USB port to plug your Pixel Watch charger into.
It comes with a plastic circle thing to hold the Apple Watch charging puck but the Pixel Watch charger doesn't fit in it so I left it off. You can apply tension to the charging cable when you route it through the internals, which keeps it upright, if a bit wobbly. What I did was apply this tension, then used some black Sugru to mould a mount to hold the watch charger upright. It sets hard in 24 hours, making this a semi permanent design, so you might want a separate watch charger cable to take with you.
It charges everything perfectly well. Phone charges at 10W which isn't as fast as the new Pixel Stand but fast enough for me. Really reduces cable clutter and makes it easier to keep things topped up.
Thanks for this, looks just what I need for mine! I have the Ringke metal outer ring thing and never been totally happy.
For those in the UK like me, this appears to be the UK link for it, just ordered from this:
For those in the UK this one works nicely. The edge also tucks nicely underneath the edge of the Ringke slim protector. Ta J https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B07W21WD31/ref=ppx\_yo\_dt\_b\_asin\_title\_o01\_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I bought and kept this 3 in 1 charging station after going through 3 others. This one works great and the watch fits on magnetically! (a weak one) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BBR33BH6?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details&tag=local002-20
As far as I know now, there's no problem using it as long as you can install Google Pixel Watch app in your region (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.google.android.apps.wear.companion).
But for LTE activation, you need a SIM card or eSim provided by a supported carrier (https://support.google.com/googlepixelwatch/answer/12652073?hl=en).
I use this app that installs both on the phone and watch. Neat graphs, somewhat customizable. It has paywalls for some features but I'm fine with the free offering. As a tip, notification sounds are scary and can't be disabled through Android settings, there's a toggle in the app configuration.
Fat Finger Scribble Calculator. Great for quick conversions, or adding up scores.
The whole screen is used to show the results, because it's not using tiny buttons for input! Other calculators are difficult to use on the smallish screen of the Pixel Watch. Spend a few minutes training your handwriting!
No bugs here - consistently getting 1.5 days per charge.
AOD - OFF
Tilt to wake - ON
Touch to wake - ON
Notifications - ON for essential apps like Google apps and messages for OTP/2step notifications. (off for things like mail, whatsapp, insta etc - you dont need to be notified about everything under the sun)
Using the Pixel watch face.
Really enjoying the watch so far.
So I did end up downloading this one - it's a couple bucks but seems to do what I want it to. I haven't actually had a chance to really use it in action yet. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.cst.watchtabata
Only app that I have tried which can start YouTube music playing on phone from wear is simple wear app. Have to give to notification access permission though and install both phone and wear app. It also gives more controls to phone from wear.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.thewizrd.simplewear
I'm not sure why Google doesn't build more phone controls from wear. It used to be more versatile in older wear os.
I have the same problem and have been following [a couple](/r/PixelWatch/comments/y4uj1q/android_fitbit_primary_goal_widget_only_showing/) of [existing threads](/r/fitbit/comments/y4sxva/android_fitbit_primary_goal_widget_only_showing/) in the hopes of a solution, but it sounds like Fitbit have no idea what's going on.
> They sent a FAQ on how to add the widget to the home screen. They are useless. I replied explaining the problem again.
I tried to work around it by having my steps exported to Google Fit via Health Sync and using the Google Fit widget, but for some reason the Google Fit step counter never matches the watch or fitbit app.
You can use this file manager to transfer files from your phone to pixel watch https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=dev.dworks.apps.anexplorer
Oh well, I removed the crap and installed https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.seapip.thomas.wearify This just works as it should.
Not sure if in UK or not but in the US I just put on the Armorsuit screen protector. It's TPU and I cannot even tell its there, no bubbles or anything and you get six in a box plus a lifetime warranty for free replacements. Very happy with it but I also added the Ringke bumper over it so the entire screen is protected well on top and sides. If you can get them in the UK I highly recommend it.

I found this which someone modded with a 3d printed galaxy watch dock. What galaxy watch 4 puck is the same size? Active or classic? Or are they the same?
Looks like people 3d printed adapters to fit a Galaxy watch, may see what I can do for the Pixel watch.
You should need a Simple Spring Bar tool, about $8 on Amazon and you can always pop it back on. Does no damage to the Leather Band.
This is the one I bought: EFIXTK Spring Bar Tool Set with... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B016A8I8HC?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
Probably a bit overkill but a good price.
I have anon-Ringke screen protector on mine, which is just a tiny bit larger than the inner diameter of the Ringke bezel. It doesn't interfere with the tape inside the bezel, but it also closes up that gap so mine sits completely flush.
I bought this one off of amazon with the cavate that it probably won't arrive for a month, if you're looking for a decent band right now that isn't expensive you're probably out of luck.
Pixel watch face for me .. i love the colours on it and how the complications are represented as lines. very easy to read and cheap too.
I was using a third-party app that would emit a heart rate. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=lukas.the.coder.heartforbluetooth
But it was frustrating getting it to work, and constantly needed to be refreshed to work. So the answer is No, it won't work unless you want to get the above app to work.
Since everyone posting pics of new watch faces, figured I'd jump in. This is the first watch face I've ever purchased! Really digging it so far! https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.orhanyapici.gglwf
I love Pixel Minimal Watch Face, it's got a companion app for mirroring phone notification icons and showing phone battery % that I really like. Well worth the $3 or whatever he's asking for. But I don't go for flashy watch faces, personally.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.benoitletondor.pixelminimalwatchface
I screwed up the screen cover but it was already my second attempt so I just got all the bubbles out and left it.
Watch face is the Pixel Minimal Watch Face, which is well worth paying a couple bucks for. It also mirrors all my notification icons between the time and the battery indicators, but I didn't have any active to show off. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.benoitletondor.pixelminimalwatchface
This watchface is my favorite - I love the colors and the clean lines and that I don't have to give up precise to get analog.
See the 12 and 3 and 9? Look where the 6 would be... you get the precise minutes instead! No more 'almost 1:30' now I get 1:28 at a glance. This makes me ridiculously happy.

I followed this video to side load the wear os xdrip watch face onto the Pixel watch. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7Ackvo657Ew
The only thing I had to do differently was use wear installer 2 instead of just wear installer.
You can get wear installer 2 here, its an early access apk so you have to sign up for that. The steps are outlined on the link.

Maybe try this app as a workaround
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.appfour.wearmail&hl=en_US&gl=US
WearOS never had a Gmail client EVER, so it's not just a lack of support on the PW. This is the first time google included google home here too. Gmail could just be an app in development or a future feature drop
> Not even sure what you mean by wearable widgets.
It's an app that allows you to "screencast" any Android phone widget to your watch display.
It has several options to reduce battery life
I have not used it but Wear Casts is a WearOS podcast app https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.krisdb.wearcasts
And for the fidelity/loyalty/ point cards, use Stocard. It's a great app and works 100% of times when a barcode reader is pointed at my watch with a loyalty card selected https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=de.stocard.stocard
You can use Wearable Widgets to turn your phone widgets into watch tiles.
You just have to find a messages phone widget that you like, I don't think the stock messages app has a widget.
had originally got it for my pixe and GW4 but the pixel watch charger fits too
I use MD170B as my primary watchface, Marine Commander when I want to splash some style.
Unfortunately there doesn't seem to be a way to customise the latter on Pixel Watch - it says to "long press" on the watch face, but that either switches between watchfaces or (with that setting disabled) does nothing.
But the default is gorgeous, and the compass actually works
If you want just a simple month view of the calendar (it doesn't show events and things) you could try this app: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.h3r3t1c.litewearcalendar&hl=en_US&gl=US looks like there are others like it (and a paid version of this app with more features)
That's dumb af and not very "smart watchy". If you set a watch alarm or a phone alarm, they should both be accessible from both devices.
How does my Galaxy 5 pro sync with my Pixel 7p, but the pixel watch won't sync with the pixel ? lol
Doesn't the pixel watch come stock with the google clock app? If not, maybe install it? I'd check but I factory reset my pixel watch as it's going back to google today.
Edit: This is the app I'm referring to: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.google.android.deskclock&hl=en_US&gl=US
No worries. I'm currently rocking MD170B but switch to Marine Commander when I want something a bit more stylish. The compass works on that watchface as well!
Hi reddit, i would like to share my latest watch face creation also in this subreddit. The word clock shows the time in words and bridges the gap between modern design and classic watch. The word clock is also available as an android widget :)
