There are no microtransactions at this point. There hasn't been any news relating to possible release dates for them either. As of right now, they are only looking into the idea of them, it's not set in stone. You shouldn't have to worry about this, yet. Plus, if/when they do come around, chances are that you'll have all the variants and upgrades you could possibly want. :)
Plants vs. Zombies shooter has no microtransactions at launch
There is a book on the art of PvZ. I also want more t-shirt (adult and kid sizes) selection and wall art.
Deluxe Edition is separate, I just linked the Festive Edition because I figured that would be the one more people would be after.
Get Deluxe Edition here: https://www.origin.com/usa/en-us/store/plants-vs-zombies/plants-vs-zombies-garden-warfare-2/addon/plants-vs-zombies-garden-warfare-2-deluxe-upgrade
I Got a better link to warez version! (but you must pay for it a bit) its here.Best link to get warez games! >> https://www.origin.com/en-ie/store/buy/plants-vs-zombies-garden-warfare/pc-download/base-game/standard-edition GET IT NOWW!!!!
You can purchase this game for PC from the EA Store website. Just type "Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare" into the search bar and you can choose between the standard version or Digital deluxe version. Be careful not the buy "Plants vs. Zomies garden warfare 2" if you're only after the first game. The sequel isn't out yet but it's available for pre-order.
When you purchase the game you will receive a digital copy (You will need to download it). To download the game you must also download a software from the same website called "origin" which will allow you to run the game. You will need to make an account on Origin. Any time you wish to play any games you buy from the EA store, you will need to run Origin and log into your account.
Hope I helped, have fun!
As there is no in-game option, you have to edit a configuration file.
Installing a good text editor makes things a bit easier: https://notepad-plus-plus.org/
You open My Documents\PVZ Garden Warfare\settings\ in Explorer, and there you find the file PROF_SAVE_profile. Open it in Notepad++ and edit the value for GstRender.FieldOfView. I have "GstRender.FieldOfView 90.000000". Save the file and you are done.
PC Gaming Wiki is a great source for these kind of tweaks: http://pcgamingwiki.com/wiki/Plants_vs._Zombies:_Garden_Warfare
This seems to be it. A bit more expensive than when I bought it a couple years ago, but still not bad.
I've been following the advice from this post, though I'm new too so I don't know how accurate it is.
"VS multiplayer, I prefer the 20k Supreme pack or whatever. Gets a couple character pieces, some AI stickers and upgrades for your characters.
If you want to focus on plants or zombies, do the specialized 20k packs, similar to the Supreme pack, but only items for one faction.
If you want to unlock characters right away, do the 40k character packs, as they are a full character per pack.
If you only play garden ops, then I'd recommend the plant specific 20k pack."
You can get all your money back... On the website it said if you aren't satisfied you can a full refund: https://www.origin.com/en-ca/great-game-guarantee.
In the end that might make your life happier, just from reading your complaints above.
There's really no harm in trying, unless you're going to eat into a relentless bandwidth cap by downloading it. This site will be able to give you an answer on whether or not it's worth it in that case.
Well, i think you have to install some drivers for any controller.
You can get the Dualshock 4 drivers here: http://ds4windows.com/
Otherwise, you can also use the Xbox 360 or Xbox One controller as the PC version can detect those instantly without the drivers i think.
No, that was dublin. George Fan worked at Dublin, and lost his job because Dublin closed down. He was never fired, here is the Kotaku link for proof: https://kotaku.com/widespread-rumor-about-ea-firing-plants-vs-zombie-crea-1820649466 So, Edward Mcmillen's rumor about george fan is false, as he didn't know much of what went down. So, (Dublin is in Ireland...) Seattle still stands because of the fact that they are the headquarters, they wouldn't exist without them... Also, when you buy stuff in Pvz Heroes, Pvz2, PVZGW2, etc; you are only giving EA about 25% of the revenue, and Popcap gets the rest of the 75% cash. So don't be as wary about it. Anyway, he was never fired over pay to win, he was just laid off because he wasn't of any use to Popcap anymore, because they got bigger, and then got 40% smaller as of the 5/3/17 layoffs...They did it because it was needed to re-route their focus to Pvz only, because Bejeweled and Peggle's latest games tanked even harder than Pvz Heroes. (Nobody cares about Bejeweled and Peggle anymore lmao...)(Pvz Heroes did decent for it's mobile launch, it could have went smoother...) Anyway, just don't worry about feeding EA your money as much. And George Fan was let go and Popcap Dublin closed down because a lot of independent developers like George Fan worked there, it conflicted with their more corporate vision and thus it had to be closed down. Pvz2 got transferred to Seattle and the rest is history. Suprisingly, EA doesn't even have much to do with it.

You guys are right. Sorry for the misinformation.
The first day of the week varies all over the world. In most cultures, Sunday is regarded as the first day of the week although many observe Monday as the first day of the week. According to the Bible, the Sabbath or Saturday is the last day of the week which marks Sunday as the first day of the week for many Jewish and Christian faiths, while many countries regard Monday as the first day of the week. According to the international standard ISO 8601, Monday is the first day of the week ending with Sunday as the seventh day of the week. Although this is the international standard, countries such as the United States still have their calendars refer to Sunday as the start of the seven-day week."
The day of rest can vary for each culture and religion. According to the Jews, the Sabbath or Saturday is the day of rest and worship. Christians mark Sunday as their day of rest and worship, while Muslims refer to Friday as their day of rest and worship. Nowadays, both Saturday and Sunday are seen as days of rest, and some calendars show Monday as the first day of the week since it is the first day of the "work week" (Monday - Friday only).
It says so on the GW1 Menu screen, and it is referring to this upgrade for GW2: https://www.origin.com/gbr/en-us/store/plants-vs-zombies/plants-vs-zombies-garden-warfare-2/addon/plants-vs-zombies-garden-warfare-2--festive-edition-upgrade
Where does it say 25th?
EDIT: I see that too actually. Damnit. Hopefully it is sooner than that. Here is to hoping.
You know tho... origin lets you return games no questions asked within 24 hours.
https://www.origin.com/en-us/great-game-guarantee
Just buy it on origin now, return it in 24 hours.
That looks like a network issue. I dunno if you have access to another internet connection but that might solve your problem. It's definitely not cause of your computer specs. There must be a problem between you and the EA servers, it could be because of your ISP choosing some weird routing. You could try contacting your ISP about it.
/edit: It probably doesn't help, but you could try changing your DNS to the Google ones: http://www.howtogeek.com/164981/how-to-switch-to-opendns-or-google-dns-to-speed-up-web-browsing/ I've seen it helping in other multiplayer games with network issues, so it could be worth a try.
I wasn't even making fun of it. And I don't look photos up on websites. I'll show you that I can't find the first one. 1: It says error 404: http://drawception.com/viewgame/cckrs1zmwx/pvz-peashooter

quick thing if you want to double check, there is this website that essentially tells you if it's a go or a no go and gives you what you should update if it is individual parts.
http://www.systemrequirementslab.com/cyri
just look for plants vs zombies garden warfare on the list
Try this website (http://www.systemrequirementslab.com/cyri)
Type in your computer details and it will tell you - if you are not sure then click on about this mac. Alternatively run the website in Windows and it will automatically detect your computer I think
Yeah, I get it. The development time needed to support it is minimal, but there may be some extra work needed to adjust the difficulty of the game.
And of course people will whine, oh my God do they whine when they think somebody has an unfair advantage. "Nobody can click the A button as fast as I can! Your controller must have a rapid fire mod! CHEATER! CHEATER!"
They'll even whine about such things used in single player games when they're not even involved ...
That said, keyboard and mouse are just plain better for FPS and RTS games. Auto-aim is a crutch added because controllers just aren't precise enough to quickly shoot people in the face without it, though some people are skilled enough to make it work pretty well.
Personally, I prefer that the difficulty of the game be in dealing with the game, not trying to bend the control scheme to my will, and so whatever controller works best for you should be what you get to use. I guess that's one reason why I prefer PC.
(That said, if they ever come up with eye-tracking control for FPS aiming that works well (i.e. blows away everything else), I might change my tune on that.)
You might be on to something, actually. I did some digging for added information, and here is what I found.
Brian Lindley's linkedin states he is working on an unannounced project for PopCap as senior producer, a position he has held since October 2014.
If his profile is accurate, then the only PvZ game he worked on is Garden Warfare. This rules out the EA guy misspeaking, instead of intending to say Plants vs Zombies 1, the 2009 tower defense game.
Let's go on a limb here:
PopCap released Plants versus Zombies: Garden Warfare on 2/25/14. 2+25+14 = 41. There's 32 letters in "Plants versus Zombies Garden Warfare". 41-32 = 9. As we're looking for PVZ Garden Warfare 2, we take the square root of 9, and...
Oh my god guys, they're not announcing GW2...
HALF LIFE 3 CONFIRMED!
Just match your computer specs with the recommended ones and you should be fine: http://help.ea.com/en/article/garden-warfare-pc-system-requirements/
Origin have a return policy as well if everything shouldn't work out as planned: https://www.origin.com/great-game-guarantee
Regular version hotlinked, also here is the DDX version: https://www.origin.com/en-ca/store/buy/plants-vs-zombies-garden-warfare/pc-download/base-game/digital-deluxe-edition
Great time to pick it up :)
I don't have the PC version, but, in all the Youtube videos of the PC version, there's usually a lot of people in G & Gr and Team Vanquish, i don't know about the other modes. And try with the Mexican Origin store, it's at 11$, i'll leave you the link. https://www.origin.com/es-mx/store/buy/plants-vs-zombies-garden-warfare/pc-download/base-game/digital-deluxe-edition
I actually have and use him a lot, but in comparison to the other scientists he has INCREDIBLE damage output. If you look at this and go into zombie damage you'll see how deadly he is up close in comparison to the other scientists.
The tips you've given are true to all scientists, but in comparison to the other scientist, marine is the clear winner. So I think I buff to the other scientists or a nerf is necessary. No matter how much I hate people complaining about balancing, and no matter how much I love playing as marine, I won't deny that he is in dire need of some balancing
Someone else made a post like this, but was getting a referral link kickback. I removed that post and banned that user. The user was a new account with only two posts -- both linking back to Amazon for different games and their discounts.
The link in my post is the following: https://www.amazon.com/Plants-vs-Zombies-Garden-Warfare-PlayStation/dp/B00ZGPJ30M?th=1
ehh...you're stretching. the game was NOT sold as "buy this and get free dlc for a year". it was sold as a standalone game and after you buy the game you are eligible to receive this free content. the dlc is NOT apart of the game when you originally bought it. you assume there will be DLC because of the past game, that's it.
this is the version i bought: https://www.amazon.com/Plants-vs-Zombies-Garden-Warfare-Xbox/dp/B00ZGPJ0TG
no where in the product description does it say anything about dlc.
Keyboard and mouse are the norm for PC players. Whereas the majority of console players would use a gamepad. I don't think the average consumer would consider buying Xim 4 which costs around 145.99$.
All what I'm trying to say is that keyboard and mouse, regardless of the console, outperforms game controllers due to the flexibility of editing settings (sensitivity, buttons ..etc). Or why else would people consider getting Xim 4 in the first place!
No, this was actually one of the posters in an old calendar. I saw one other poster that came from the calendar, being Zom the Barbarian. That "October 20th" thing's really fishy, though.
I play PvZGW on Xbox One, but on my gaming PC I use a Redragon M801 Mammoth mouse and really like it. It's on sale today at Amazon. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00GU4F4OM?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_search_detailpage
