If you're interested in netflix specifically there seems to be a number of options that specialize in netflix. One such alternative is https://www.netflixparty.com/ (Haven't tried it for myself)
I have found an alternative called TwoSeven. It requires you to install an extension before sharing videos on the web that isn't YouTube, Hulu, and other widely known platforms. To share other website's videos or shows, you load it on your browser and use the extension to transfer the video over to TwoSeven to share with everyone in the room.

I work for one of the Rabb.it alternatives, Kast. I would be happy to have you give us a try Kast.gg We have been getting some great feedback from other former Rabb.it users. You can use the service to share your browser for youtube videos or stream directly from an application on your computer. I hope that helps.
Y'all should take a look at Kast :)
It's a free app that allows video/audio sharing for many users in a channel.

It's really easy to use and management and dev teams are great to work with! :)
Check out https://kast.gg , we have the ability to stream a select tab in Chrome by using the 'application' tab when you select your source, then you can use Kast over the top without affecting the streamed window/tab.
There are a few options for viewing. Nothing for hosting for her.
Kast has an ios app.
Trast.live works.
Caracal.club works.
Most webrtc screenshare stuff will work.
dont listen to anyone that offers any video streaming options i think its dumb as hell personally and not realistic for people with normal average computers and laptops
the only alternative ive ever found was caracal.club and letsglitch.io
glitch is dead but was soo good...but caracal is still up but its layout is dogshit and needs a lot of work done but it definitely works so try that out. its basically whats rabbit was
i honestly just check this subreddit to see if anyone ever comes up with an alternative like this two....i will never check out any "streaming" or "syncing" shits...because im not fucking nuts XOXO
Hi Hana! I'm Scotty, one of the creators of Tutturu.tv; you might have seen bumped into our name before, as there was some controversy a while back when Invited.tv copied our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy word-for-word ;P
If you're looking to edit your username, you can already do so on Tutturu! We also give you the ability to own multiple rooms, and have nicknames scoped on a room-by-room basis! (super useful if you're into things like DnD!)
Feel free to DM me on Discord (Scotty#1337) and I can give you a demo some time :)
You are going to have to clear out your cookies ift sounds like . I cant not get in my friends room on my one brower because I do not want to clear out all my passwords so I just use a second one when I want to go into his room.
https://vivaldi.com/ I got this one it works pretty good on rabbit .
Hey u/miki-123 would https://kast.gg work for you? Full disclosure: I'm an employee, but we're free, live, available on Windows and Mac (iOS soon(tm) ).
Check it out and let me know!
Without trying it, I can't tell if this is stream syncing or screen sharing.
My favourite stream syncing is twoseven.xyz. It does work with netflix, has cameras and mics and a nice clean interface. It works really well and has a wide range of source (pretty much any site that hosts videos).
For screen sharing, trast.live is my best recommendation. It uses webrtc to stream your chrome to the other person, so you can share anything you can access on the net. There is no voice chat built in (though the text chat is well designed), but that is what discord is for.
On https://twoseven.xyz/ every user is required to have their own Netflix/Amazon/HBO profiles. Some of these services allow for multiple screen viewing with the same account - and that works with TwoSeven as well.
Hey thanks for trying https://twoseven.xyz out! We're just two developers, but actively working on improving our page..do consider joining our discord community (https://discord.gg/E5yszwU) and let us know what you think 🙂
Not in an LDR, but a good friend of mine lives in England while I'm in America, so I'm in the same situation more or less. Twoseven.xyz seems to work decently, but I do really miss Rabb.it working properly

twoseven.xyz dev here. While you can't quite view website content together on TwoSeven, you can watch videos from nearly any website together!
In case you weren't aware, here's a short video tutorial on how to do this.
https://twoseven.xyz dev here. Glad you like our website! We should probably make this feature a little more obvious, but in case you weren't aware, with the extension, you can actually visit nearly any page on the internet that contains a video and watch it with others on twoseven.xyz.
Here's a short video tutorial on how to do this.
I just started using twoseven.xyz you have to install a chrome extension in order to see the netflix tab and it's a little tricky to stream web based content (you need the url for the video itself and not the webpage it's on) but this site lets you stream files from your computer as well and you can drag the screen bigger or smaller. I'm liking it so far!
I've been using twoseven.xyz as a temporary solution. It's not that bad, a few skips here and there + no autoplay + theres no remote control, but it's a pretty good site and I hear they're still developing it. I'm gonna use it until/if rabb.it reverts the update
Do give https://twoseven.xyz a try. Me and my wife were long distance for significant periods of our relationship and we built it to watch our favorite shows together without needing another application like Skype.
It's constantly under development and supports YouTube, Netflix, Amazon, Crunchyroll and Vimeo. In fact, if you grab the TwoSeven Chrome extension, you can watch videos from nearly any website together.
Additionally, you can also stream and watch private videos together even if only one of the participants has the video file (needs good internet speeds though). And finally, it has built-in video and text chat capabilities so you don't need to rely on Skype/Facetime/etc!
Let us know if you use any other websites and we will try our best to support it as well! Oh, and it's completely free.
For those who don't mind downloading playing the same video file across multiple separate players, syncplay will sync VLC player across multiple instances of the program.
This doesn't work with online services though, only if you have the same local file.
EDIT: There's an unofficial Syncplay app for Android here.
I posted this in the "The Future of Rabbit" thread, but there's Syncplay which can sync multiple VLC instances playing the same file. It works on Windows, MacOS, Linux, and BSD.
There are public sync servers but you can host your own since it's open source. If we got a whole bunch of people to host around the world, this could be a nice alternative, even to those with little technical know-how. Currently the public sync servers are hosted in France. This may or may not be an issue depending on where you live and the ping between multiple parties and the sync server.
EDIT: There's an unofficial Syncplay app for Android here.
Just because something is "normal" doesn't mean its acceptable you stupid nigger. Keep bending over while people mine your data senseless but its okay because everyone does it right? Great argument you've got there.
>Get a fucking VPN if you're that worried about it. You probably are too stupid to use one.
If LinusShillTips can advertise TunnelBear in half of his videos I can assure you even a braindead porchmonkey like yourself could manage a VPN.
