You can see tornado sightings on some weather map sites. I prefer wunderground for hail and quick storm tracks. See link and images below.
100% - I got this one back in 2018: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0049I6CT2/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Looks similar. If you have the german cockroaches especially, regular poison won't do the trick. This killed my little infestation in days.
The movie is on Amazon Prime. Surprised he hasn't tried to sell the show on there also, or at the very least put it up on their youtube channel.
if you want an cheaper alternative to what /u/Runner0914 recommended (its a great router but a bit overkill imo), check this one out on amazon. I use it (and i also have spectrum) and its a great router.
Easy: Lazy and/or cheap people. McAllen has one of the best waste/recycling departments in the valley too!
I live in a neighborhood that you have to drive through 2 big, open lots to get to. People constantly dump shit out there. Furniture, trash bags, tires, etc. I feel bad for the people that own the property.
You could put a sign up "Area under surveillance" and/or you could buy a cheap IP camera (HERE is a link to a solar panel to make it COMPLETELY wireless!) to watch over the area.
I've got a few of these around my house and they work flawlessly.
Build a portfolio that highlights your skills. Make sure you have both an online presence as well as hard-copy "book" that someone can flip through.
A neat gimmick is to buy some USB flash drives and load them with your portfolio and contact information.
Visit the business and ask to speak to the person(s) that makes decisions on whatever it is you're trying to market/sell them. Let them know that you only need xx mins and be sure you can make the most impact in the shortest amount of time. Make sure your "pitch" is succinct. Try to contact them and/or go in during slower times.
Nothing beats an in-person visit to peak to someone personally. Make sure to leave them a drive, business card or flyer with EASY access to your portfolio. Make sure to follow up with them to thank them for the time they spent to meet with you. People remember persistence.
Growing up I heard La Lomita Chapel was haunted (wish I knew the story behind that, just heard rumors).
There’s also a book that’s been written on the subject apparently…
Ghosts of the Rio Grande Valley by David Bowles
Dang, I wish I knew a story I could share rite now. 👻 Nite y’all~
Yes. I was going to say this. Goya makes one.
If you are in the McAllen area, you may want to try Ruben's Grocery. They have a VERY nice selection of regional/Hispanic stuff. La Michoacana also has a really nice selection.
I usually get my stuff from Amazon, but I recently stumbled onto G2A.com for most of my PC games. It's pretty awesome, and nearly all of the games are way cheaper than market price. They should have some XBone and PS4 games for sale, too. They sell the CD keys, so you get them pretty quick once you buy them.
I went with airsoft only because I wouldn't have to deal with paint. With the group of people I play with we don't have really have people cheating. I honestly can't remember how much I paid right now (at work) but it was all mostly bought on ebay so I didn't pay retail. The vest is modular plate carrier brand.is condor http://www.ebay.com/itm/MOLLE-Modular-Plate-Carrier-Armor-Vest-Chest-Rig-ACU-/250881359823 here's what it looks like

If you'd like some online options check out Roll20.
It's also possible to play D&D online through a PC game called Tabletop Simulator. It's avaliable on Steam.
Maybe you'll have better luck finding some people to play with online!

A few years ago I went to the Barnes & Noble by the Convention Center. And this book was propped out from the shelf. Kinda like saying "pick me! pick me!".
So I took it down, sat on one of the chairs and started reading it. It was nothing but short stories from all around the RGV, from 100 to 50 years ago. By the time I looked up, the sun had already set. I'd been reading the book for like 2 hours straight!
Stupidly, I didn't buy it then, because I was actually there for other stuff.
By the time I wanted to actually buy it, I couldn't remember the exact name, nor find it again at the store.
I'm not sure if this is it, as I remember the cover being WHITE with a B&W illustration:
https://www.amazon.com/Ghosts-Grande-Valley-Haunted-America/dp/146711992X
So I've found that this hot sauce San Luis has that texture and flavor I have found in several corn-in-a-cups in the Valley. Good luck.
