From this article:
> Which Seahawks player would make the toughest video game boss? Sherman and Wagner both concurred that defensive end Michael Bennett would be the toughest video game boss to defeat. They outlined a strategy of using a razor to cut off his beard, which apparently would weaken him. Seahawk rivals may want to take note of this strategy.
No kidding. Seahawks fans really need to stop crying "no respect" when it hasn't been an issue in YEARS. Grow up.
Exhibit A: After an embarrassingly bad, bed shitting performance by the offense in a prime time game, ESPN still ranks the Hawks #2 in their power rankings. That is respect.
This is really subjective by the way. The article someone posted about them having the best Super Bowl odds has them at the 15th most difficult remaining schedule.
Doug Baldwin is a big fan of this new helmet, that actually has some hardcore science to prove it's a lot safer than a normal helmet and it was created by a Seattle company. I don't know if the team has started using them yet but I imagine they will sometime in the near future after it has been approved for NFL play and everything.
Edit - The helmet uses tiny rods that can compress and divert energy on impact. To show just how much better it could be for players, I found this stat: "Vicis has performed 20-50% better in head trauma reduction tests in comparison to Riddell and Schutt."
Not really but it was a broken bone (foot)...those heal relatively fast and don't have that mental doubt aspect of "can i go 100%?" that come from an ACL type tear.
Check out his instagram and twitter; https://instagram.com/kingcash7191/ & https://twitter.com/kingcash_7191
to see him working out *HARD*core (with Jesse Williams) basically all season since he got healed (and upper body even before that i'd imagine). He looks like he will come to camp 10-20lbs heavier (muscle) cause hes been lifting heavy and working out like crazy.
Why i love that? One knock on him from the draft was he was on the light side, kinda a tweener or something. Now all jacked up he can use that muscle and throw around that weight against O-lineman and cause havoc.
These threads are ridiculous. In week 16 of the 2013 Super Bowl Season, the Seahawks lost 10-17 to the Cardinals at home, and Wilson was just 11-of-27 for 108 yards. http://www.espn.com/nfl/recap/_/gameId/331222026
The Seahawks always have games where they struggle on offense. Most of the time, they manage to win. Get used to it.
Except he WANTS kids to play football... source
I didn't care about this guy at first, but now he's just an annoying bitch.
I'm buying this for tonight's game, Amazon can get it here in 2 hours.
Eh. I had signed him off as will never see the field due to degenerative knees. Probably just a small hedge bet, they are like "lets see if he can get through camp and the preseason and contribute in some actual games".
>But Williams told Boswell that the injuries that ended both of his professional seasons before they started were a thing of the past.
>“I’m all good now,” Williams said. “I have had a few minor knee surgeries but I think it has been taken a bit out of context by the media.”
>If healthy, Williams could provide a boost for a Seahawks defensive line rotation that was decimated by injuries last season. He told Boswell that he hoped to get back and prove that he could help the team for the long haul. Source
https://instagram.com/p/z3mYg-s4A6/
Here's hoping he can get on the field and contribute. Here's hoping (doubtful) hes right and his knees wont be a issue from here on out.
I find this to be very interesting. On B.J.'s instagram there's recent video of him throwing and of him catching footballs.
WR doesnt seem like a position he can easily get into unless hes really talented...i mean we will have Baldwin, Kearse, Norwood, Matthews, Lockette and i'd assume at least one draft WR. Thats 5-7 WR's right there (not counting Douglas McNeil who we signed to our PS).
So for a guy converted from QB to WR to make it on the game day roster when he doesn't have a single bit of game time experience at WR...thats hard for me to imagine unless our depth was tested due to injuries.
I wonder if he does become a WR, i'd imagine he is our emergency backup QB (a great experienced option) and go to guy for trick plays (where the WR gets the ball and he throws it to a open receiver).
Still...im very interested to see how this all plays out.
I made this about a month ago, just getting excited for the season to start. I found the hex color codes for the official team colors and based everything from that. Also, most everything in the theme is active, for example the little Seahawks logo above the clock on the home page is actually the launch icon for the Seahawks app. The weather icon at the top of the left sliding pane launches my weather app. Same with the calendar and clock on the home page, they launch the respective apps as well.
If anyone's interested, this runs in an Android app called KLWP (Kustom Live Wallpaper Pro), you'd have to download and install the preset. I uploaded this one, you can download it here. I also uploaded the wallpaper to imgur here.
(Don't ask me for technical KLWP help, I've only built a couple themes and learned as I go so I'm far from an expert).
No, they were enforced because of the 2004 patriots, know your history

There's plenty more
I just happened to be looking at my bing rewards page just now, and noticed this.
"Worn on the field by Tarvaris Jackson, this practice jersey from the Seattle Seahawks Training Camp is signed by No.7 himself."
Sweepstakes ends October 15th. Why shouldn't someone from /r/Seahawks be the one to win it.
Nobody was freaking out about the defense because those were the backups making mistakes. The first stringers for the defense were amazing.
The first stringers for the offense though, Britt and Bailey, were terrible. Take a look at the PFF grades for our offensive line if you don't think we need an upgrade. Calling out others for being bandwagoner 12 year olds when you provide no statistics or anything is laughable. We have the cap space and the longest deal we've given out is 4 years (to Earl, Sherm, Russell, whoever). The max length of the deal we'd give to Mathis is probably 2 years.
> The Seattle Seahawks released their Week 1 depth chart Tuesday and running back Christine Michael was listed ahead of Thomas Rawls. > > It's worth noting that the depth chart is unofficial and plenty can change between now and Sunday. But Pete Carroll suggested on Monday that the Seahawks may need to ease Rawls in during the opener against the Miami Dolphins. Per Sheil Kapadia of ESPN
In Issaquah you should be able to get it over the air on a antenna i got the one on amazon for around 20 dollars no issue and in HD. You can also try this antenna in Ocean shores and see if it picks up Fox, CBS, and NBC

I'm not going to downvote you and to be 100% honest this was mostly a frustration fueled post.
1) No idea I have no idea who is available, but I've gotta think there is a fuck ton of college coaching talent/retired/unemployed OC's that would jump at the chance. I'm mostly just tired of seeing the SAME mistakes on offense. The situational awareness just seems lacking. I'm not a coach myself but throwing a five yard pass across the middle of the field with no timeouts and 16 seconds left... like cmon throw 3-4 balls into the end zone, we have an accurate qb.
2) offensive line is not the problem I'm referring to with this, though granted it is a problem. I personally think our online would be fine if they didn't get so many damn penalties (and having a healthy Russell) it's the play calling.
4) this is a stupid question. But honestly dude look at this (on mobile sorry) http://www.espn.com/nfl/statistics/team/_/stat/downs/sort/firstDowns . Seattle is 31st in number of first downs. And you can't tell me we don't have talent on the offense. Lots of the teams ahead of us have shitty olines as well. I would literally take any other OC.
Russell is magical, but every game can't come down to a 4th quarter drive.
Seattle still has the fewest total yards allowed and fewest yards allowed per game this season. Minnesota's a close second. We're tied for second in total points allowed, and tied for third in points per game allowed.
http://www.espn.com/nfl/statistics/team/_/stat/total/sort/netTotalYards/position/defense
Doesn't sound too promising I'm afraid. If anything, sounds like its moving further away from bringing the phrase back.
> Unlike the terms of the earlier deals, which were initiated in 2006 and re-signed in 2011, the Seahawks will no longer use "12th Man" on its Ring of Honor, nor will the team use "12th Man" on its social media handles. The team has never been permitted to put "12th Man" on merchandise.
Sign up to a reputable VPN like Torguard, NordVPN or similar. Will cost a few dollars per month. Then you download their client application, run it and select the location of the server you want to connect to. Once connected just use your PC like normal and all internet traffic will appear as if you're in the location you selected. This works to unblock some services, but others won't know where you're based but will know you're behind a VPN and just block you anyway.
Make sure what ever VPN you choose has servers in the location you want. Most have a free trial so give that a go and see how it works for you.

I don't think there's a team anywhere in the country, in any league, that continually sells out tickets even when they're terrible. To answer your question, according to this article from 1996, the 'Hawks are not immune to that fact.
That being said, the Seahawks have always had some pretty dedicated fans, in good times and bad. The Kingdome was notoriously loud because of its fans, well before the record setting decibals of the Clink, and the Seahawks #12 jersey was retired back in 1984.
Shead looks to be like a good CB who just might have a breakout year as Sherman predicts. Sherman who has predicted Maxwell to have a breakout year right before he did and that KJ Wright would have a breakout year last season right before he did. He has looked really good and seems to be making more plays (pass break ups, etc).
Then there is Simon who at worst in '14 allowed a QBR of 44.4 when targeted for the ~6 games he played during the regular season. Then there is Terrell who this preseason was getting snaps at slot corner during the games. There is Powell who was getting snaps at CB during the games. And there is Elliot who looked good in the preseason games (beat out Tye and Burley).
check out airbnb for great alternatives to hotel rooms.
To be fair, SDSU rarely asked him to pass block. Rocky Long, the head coach, even said right before the draft. Still as u/tchu9115 noted, it was his biggest shortcoming entering the league.
Here is the link of Rocky Long saying it, you have to go to April 11, 2018 - Rocky Long Interview and it starts around the 17 minute mark.

EDIT: First, get a VPN, I recommend . A VPN will hide your home IP address so you cannot be tracked as illegally downloading anything.
So go to Private Internet Access. Then sign up for a subscription. Then install. Then connect. Then follow OP's steps.
I read in a different article that he'll often listen to an audio book of something like Sun Tsu's "The Art of War" before a game instead of some pump-up music. That's a whole other level of preparation.
You think? My impression is that Clark is doing pretty well for us.
He's up there in sacks: http://www.espn.com/nfl/statistics/player/_/stat/defense/sort/sacks/year/2016/seasontype/2
PFF liked him in the Cardinals game: https://www.profootballfocus.com/pro-sea-ari-grades-tie/
They had this to say about him:
> Frank Clark has built off his rookie success and has surpassed his sack total in just over half the snaps it took him to get there last year. He added two sacks and five hurries to his season total, and now ranks fifth among all 4-3 defensive ends in pass-rushing productivity, at 12.0.
This place might be able to accommodate. My brother in law is from Northern Ireland it's a good thing you're in a big city. Those small towns are like a blast from the past in the most nostalgic way. Loved Dublin when I was there last summer we had the best fish n chips and Guinness. Have a pint for me! Cheers hope it works out.

The problem is vimeo seems to be having issues:
"We've experienced some player instability due to a DDoS attack, but we're working hard to restore order."
It's tradition, because it got the crowd excited at the 1918 World Series. One of the players was on leave from the Navy (WWI going on) and stopped to salute the flag. Then everyone joined in and sung along.
The owners liked how excited the fans were and here we are.
In case you guys didn't know, there is a soundboard for this on the iPhone. My friends and I quote this all the time, so this was worth the .99
They were called the "Hawk Block". I totally remember those. I just googled and could only find an old Spokesman Review reference to it. Hawk Block
I would also be interested in a T-Shirt of this, however there are ways to make it super cool on a shirt/sweater instead of just like...a black shirt with that emblem simply on the front...would be awesome if someone on here could make a few diff designs, we vote which is best then someone makes it on https://teespring.com/ and we get to buying and post it on the Fieldgulls FB and HawkNation etc.
I was trying to find out more about the author of this article, Ted Green. There's not much out there about him, other than his LinkedIn profile (https://www.linkedin.com/pub/ted-green/b/58a/349). This man is a mystery. I'm curious as to whether he still holds a job.

I live in the US and watch Gamepass. What I do is use Private Internet Access to connect to another country. Typically UK as I'm from there. Then I get all the games live no problem. If something is blacked out I can just connect to another country.
I actually misread your comment, didn't realize you are in the area. Private Internet Access actually has an IP address in Seattle. You can use Starbucks gift cards to pay for your PIA account. It's an easy, cheap way to see if it works. I'm not too tech savvy but even if you didn't use a Seattle IP address the VPN could unlock all geo restricted content? Haven't tried it on my computer, but it works on my phone with the KIRO app.
You deserve a 100 upvotes for this. Any VPN service will do with a waypoint to the Netherlands. I just wanted to throw that out there I was able to get mine to work with any VPN service that is not Kepard and a waypoint from the NL. Consider using VPN for anything really especially using public WI-FI. Between Wi-Fi spoofing, Honeypot attacks, and Firesheep, public networks really are cesspools.
how funny, I was using firefox and the first IP that kepard offers and it said I had to pay 154 EUR, then I switched to the 2nd IP in NL of Kepard, went to gamepass and it said Subscribe for 0.00 USD , but it asked me to do subscribe, which I did but then asked me to "pay" with paypal, so I just stopped there, now I read your reply and downloaded chrome, and now I get the same as you ! Long story short, for me it works on chrome , won't work on firefox hehehhe , I am happy now, thxxx dude!!
Doesn't help that the offense can't stay on the field and the defense is playing the majority of the game. Not only does this give the opponent more chances to score points, but it makes our defense fatigued (making points even easier for them to score).
Actual time: vs Cardinals: defense 46 minutes (includes OT time) ; vs Saints: 36 minutes http://www.espn.com/nfl/game?gameId=400874508 http://www.espn.com/nfl/game?gameId=400874564
Yes the defense is allowing points, but imo it's because they're the main part of the Seahawks showing up to play football. The offense has been inept for most of the season. Remember, the Saints had one of the worst defenses heading into this game; and it was still difficult for them.
Both sides have taken a step back recently, but to act like it's mainly the defense is not being fair.
According to this article by Sheil Kapadia, Bradley Sowell is now listed as questionable and a game time decision
You've got that backwards -- Seattle's rain is consistent throughout there year whereas Nashville has rainy seasons. Also, Nashville isn't the Midwest, it's the South. We're impacted by both the Gulf's systems and the streams that comes in from the Atlantic around NC/SC. We're also commonly impacted by any Hurricane weather from FL.
https://www.currentresults.com/Weather/Tennessee/average-yearly-precipitation.php
TN ranks 6th for rainfall with Nashville getting 55 inches, WA ranks 29th with Seattle getting 43 inches. With that being said, you're correct in that our summers are much wetter than in Seattle -- and while Seattle may have wetter winters on average, TN still has wetter winters than WA does in bad years. TN took the #1 spot for the wettest winter in 2019.
https://www.wunderground.com/cat6/Wettest-Winter-US-History
Despite all of this, the Titans stadium still uses Grass, which is really the point here.
I watch all sports free on or and a few others. Do you have a deal with a few pop-ups that you just need to make sure you close before you can finally play the stream. For the most part it's uninterrupted once you start the stream. Best to get a VPN when going to any free stream sites. Plus VPN has a load of other benefits such as being able to get around newspaper sites 'your five free articles are up, wanna join?' Or needing to spoof your East Coast location to a West Coast only feed? Go click on a Seattle signal with your VPN, and your location is now switched. It helps me in San Diego for my Seattle sports...
Also, shopping portals will refund most of your VPN cost (80% NordVPN thru TopCashBack-81% or Surfshark100% ) in the form of a gift card(Amazon, MasterCard, or cash straight to PayPal) reimbursement. I wish I would have known this before getting Nord 2yrs ago. $85 for two years I think I paid(which is still a great deal) that I could've had reimbursed. Portals offer refunds on top tier reputable VPN's. I recommend going this route over settling for some cheap/free no name VPN service. (I won't even open my online banking without my VPN being on.)
I watch Mariners there too. if your browser enables it, once you click mlb or nfl, create a Home Screen widget shortcut to your home page,It might be able to help you skip a pop-up or two, leaving you only one or two clicks from your event stream. It saves time.
I am signed up with multiple cash back/shopping/gas portals, and use swagbucks primarily for all my Instacart receipts— but (according to )TopCashBack def is the offering the biggest refunds on VPN purchases right now.
If anyone registers there I get a kickback and you get a signup bonus if you have a member referral code at signup.
I 'guess' you can use mine...🤓(thank you)

Ok, I had to look up the rushing stats after re-reading your original post. I agree, we could have passed it more often but I think we needed to see what Rawls looked like. I'm just glad Pete didn't try to force it any more with Rawls. He was clearly not his pre-injury self and I don't think he played at all second half (just going off memory). Also, I thought the passing game would be killing it right now too.
> > CMike got 3 for 26, Rawls 3 for 15, PRich 3 for 35, and Willson got 1 for 6 yards.
Why'd you phrase it like this? I read your original comment as our rushing stats. If I was paying closer attention I would have thought 3 rushes from PRich looked off...
I do! You have been warned though, I do not have formal training in Photoshop. Everything I have learned has been self taught or from online tutorials. So, the PSD may seem sporadic so if you have any questions feel free to ask. There are layers in there that I were working on but abandoned, which is why they are hidden. I left them in there for future reference in case I wanted to work with that idea again. So just ignore those hidden layers.

One thing no one is talking about is that Seattle did a good job limiting Gurley.
I'm still confused about this. The clock appeared to hit 0:00 (see this image: https://twitter.com/WeightRoomShoe/status/775205948814004224), but the play-by-play lists Avril sacking Tannehill at the 1-yard line as the final play of the game (http://www.espn.com/nfl/playbyplay?gameId=400874577).
I was watching on TV and was screaming for them to blow the whistle when the clock went down. The Dolphins didn't appear to be playing with the urgency that you'd expect, and at least a second elapsed after the clock hit 0:00, I think. Moreover, the announcers said afterwards that the Dolphins didn't realize that the fumble out-of-bounds caused the clock to restart as soon as it was placed, rather than at the snap.

This is a really good episode and talks about how the 2012 rookies made a pact to be great and prove the doubters wrong. Bobby is still waiting for an apology for all that doubted them.
Bobby has some great comments on his cooking skills and how he negotiated his own contract.
have you seen his training regime. I don't know if he still does it but he used to run around with a crazy mouth breather to limit his air intake.
As a native Washingtonian no longer living in WA and not into giving more money than need be to the crocked TWC I have found ways around to watch hawks play. I will explain how I have my computer setup if computer usage is available for you to use. I don't know if it will work on Xbox and I know it wont work on your phone (I tried mine one time) anyways this is what you need:

just whatever you do DON'T DOWNLOAD anything.
after that you may get a few little "X's" you may have to close but works good. I have a 70" tv that I watch them on through this site it may not be HD but it is good quality. The only issue is sometimes the feed may hiccup, but it will shortly resume again. Anyways hope this helps and hope the surgery goes well.
GO HAWKS
I was just wondering if anyone has heard of this event? https://www.tickettailor.com/checkout/view-event/id/105101/chk/cfee - I saw today that Warren Moon and other Seahawks media are doing this round table discussion. Looks fun...
If anyone gets bored before the game, here is an awesome Flash Game that was released for the Super Bowl! It's like a flash version of Madden. But the only two teams you can choose from are the Seahawks and Patriots.

I know it's too new for anyone to have tried it with NFL, but it looks promising. And it's not available in the Seattle market yet.
Wasn't able to find it on its own. If you follow the link below and go to the "12-16 Hour 3" show, the recap starts at about the 32:30 mark.
it is dated tbh, he has these core beliefs like using the run to set up the pass and play action pass. It's been proven that while the run game is important you don't have to establish the run to pass and use the play action effectively
"In short, good plays tend to follow other good plays; bad plays tend to follow bad plays. The run sets up the pass no better than the pass sets up the pass."
Both rushing efficiency and rushing volume have very little to no effect on play action efficiency (source), so why would either have any effect on overall passing efficiency?
These queries say they don't. I'm sure there's other evidence that says the same.
You're peddling old conventional wisdom that should be dead by now. Let it die.
~~Gamepass is live if you use a VPN that makes you appear to be out of the country.~~
You need to buy an international game pass for this to work, which can cost up to $200.
The best one for streaming services is probably getflix. I wouldn't use it for torrents, and I'd check more into if before making any purchases.
Also, the title for the book about him.
Not a solution, but good info.
I just tried NordVPN using their Seattle Proxy Server, but that is not supported. I contacted their helpdesk, and they don't support that area. I was however able to login to my Youtube TV account with the poxies in NY, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Dallas, Buffalo, and Charlotte to see their area programming.
I would like to know if there is a better VPN option out there that has a Seattle proxy server.

I use this at work to listen to Monday and Thursday night football. It's not %100 successful but it's fun, I was listening to a Local Tampa station on Thursday.
You can use a VPN with servers in another country to get the international Gamepass for a cheaper price than the domestic version and see all the games, with Red Zone, live.
For example, I use the Brazil server for Private Internet Access (PIA). Turn on the VPN on my PC before the season starts, go to the Gamepass site and sign up for ~$70 for the season. When the games are on, I use the PIA app on my Android TV to log on to an international server, then start the Gamepass app to watch.
Anyone know the cheapest option to watch the game? I know of NFLbite and Streameast but I swear they always lag at the most important moments.
I have PureVPN but that only lets me VPN to certain countries I believe and not specific cities.
If I VPN to Canada isn't there an option through them that's cheaper than anything we offer?
If you're talking online and have an android, "NFL live stream" app has not let me down yet:

Stream to chromecast and you're golden
Just FYI, Colgate makes a toothbrush with Seahawks colors. I typically get them solo, but you can see it in this 4 pack. It's a small fun thing I do for myself.

Just make sure you choose the correct size for it, but yeah, it worked well.
Yes, I would normally do it that way also. But the sharing for this source is through their app - it's the app that's formating it this way

I had the same concerns, so I got <strong>this one</strong> and decided to just fly it on game day.
It's thin but has lasted three years. Of course, I always forget to put it up on game day....
I use TunnelBear and I close the NFL Mobile app completely, including logging out. I active my VPN, log in to NFL Mobile, start the stream, and then turn off the VPN. Worked for me on Thursday for the Broncos / Panthers game.
So is anybody getting the 2nd option to work with Kepard. I have Kepard set up and my internet is working, but when I go to NFL Game Pass it asks me to subscribe to a package. Does anybody know what may be wrong?
Hey , I am here using a vpn now with a NL ip , but when I go to thegame-pass website it still shows me that I need to pay (it is a lower price than Germany, but still 154 EUR) are you sure this is not over , can you check if it's still free for the NL? I triple-checked my IP and it's from the NL... :( using Kepard 30 day trial!
Bummer, what antenna do you have? If you have something like a Mohu Leaf you might be able to get 13.1 using a Winegard Flatvision 5000. Leaf's are made for a more commonly used signal called UHF but Q13 broadcasts in VHF and that brand (Winegard) is better at picking those signals up.
Nike Air Monarch IV $55.62 -- I really love that he doesn't feel like he needs to spend $150 on shoes, even though he makes $8,000,000 a year.
Where did you find the 11.5" one?
Amazon has it but it is only 6 inches tall.
GIF version I use AnimGIF Live Wallpaper 2 Pro to make it a Live Wallpaper.
