I personally have had good experience practicing what is called 'Maha Bandha', which combines Mula with uddiyana and Jalandhara bandha w/ breath retention and lifting the energy upwards. Also the 6th tibetan rite which is basically uddiyana with breath retention and lifting upwards.
Also in plain ol' kegels, which is basically Mula bandha, I synchronize it with the breath to pull the energy up. For me I contract upwards, like a 'pull' when I perform it.
I'm no expert, maybe someone can correct me, but it seems to work for my purposes, which is the uplifting and transmutation of sex energy.

I struggled with this during the initial stages of SR (approx days 20-50 of my first 'streak'). I think this is definitely one of those things where 'the only way out is through'. However, I've found the following have greatly improved my sleep as insomnia was something I struggled with prior to starting SR:
- Supplementing 300mg magnesium (I take magnesium citrate, but do your own research as to what might be the best form and dose for you) and 300mg l-theanine one hour before bed
- Keeping the same bed time and (more crucially) wake up time everyday
- Using a seasonal affective disorder lamp each morning for about five minutes to set your circadian cycle off
- Keeping ALL your tech outside of your bedroom (try to avoid doing any work in your bedroom as well if possible)
- Blue light blocking glasses in the evening if you're doing work/reading
- Quitting all caffeine (you shouldn't need this on SR anyway)
- Eating breakfast (I used to do some very strict intermittent fasting, but I came across some evidence to suggest that eating breakfast can help you align to your circadian rhythm)

These might be overkill to be honest, but implement a few of these and see how you go. Hope this helps.
Get your girl on board. Have sex till you're close to coming, then go down on her for a while. Enter again, get close again, then go down on her. If you ever get the chance, read the book SPARK. it's about the mind body correlation in regards to exercise. it changed my life. i'm a big believer in not using medication when possible.
edit: i've gone through heavy anxiety through the past decade, high school into college and post college with first real job. along with realizing my PMO addiction last fall and finding nofap and SR, this book was recommended by my therapist. i no longer go to therapy, although it helped me slightly, it's been a killer for my wallet and have noticed that most sessions are a waste of time. it's all a business. i'm a big believer and figuring these problems on my own. one solution has been reading many books on positive thinking and the brain.
I recommend an alarm clock like this one. It simulates the sunrise/sunset. Much nicer than a noisy beep first thing in the morning.
The version I have is 180 pages. I wanted to read the chapter on semen retention, but can't find it. It doesn't even have a table of contents; wow.
Yeah I've got at least ten of them, they're as close to working with a bona fide guru as books can come! A Systematic Course in the Ancient Tantric Techniques of Yoga and Kriya is the yoga book to end all yoga books in my opinion.

I've been reading 'A Systematic Course in the Ancient Tantric Techniques of Yoga and Kriya' which I would highly recommend. The book is divided into parts. The first lessons focus on preparing your body for more advanced practices :)

I personally practice qigong as it's primary purpose is to circulate energy. I'm not that familiar with the chakra system, but from what I understand I don't know of any particular system out there that 'circulates' energy within them, as far as I know the main work done with them is to open them, to have them open means energy is flowing as it should.
I've tried this before, it definitely seems to do something for sure.
I've heard good things about this book.
I personally don't like using the chakra system as it's too obscure and difficult to gauge what is going on with my energy system, plus it seems to take a long time to see any actual result. But that's me though, maybe this is what's right for you.

SR will help with energy and possibly outlook, but does not in itself change anything in your life. Frankly, you sound depressed as hell (no judgement, I've been there) which is no surprise given your life situation of being socially isolated and living at home. It is very hard to self generate drive and motivation from such a disadvantaged and limited context.

I would suggest that at the same time as you adopt a SR mindset you also focus heavily on dealing with your social isolation, as hard as this will be (as well as the usual emphasis on sleep, nutrition, exercise etc). Building social connections I have always found to be the number one way of broadening horizons and developing the motivation and positivity required to improve areas such as money, employment, women etc.

Strongly suggest you start reading this book at the same time as SR and try hard to implement what you read - start small and let momentum carry you.

The muscles of inspiration’s development will put so much size in your chest and correct many other structural imbalances due to the diaphragm’s connection to the entire body. Without getting into too much detail, the body’s foundation are not the feet, it’s the chest.

As we progress in practicing strict SR we gradually become closer to God. The next step is to believe that He exists, and read the scriptures. There's an unbelievable amount of truth within the bible. I'm finding so many references to SR, albeit somewhat metaphorically & indirect.

Julian Lee argues in his book Bliss of the Celibate that women are in-fact superior to men, in our current western society.

After reading about pine pollen here from earlier posts, I tried it myself for the past month. It definitely helps in my workouts at the gym but I realized you should definitely cycle off. My current pine pollen regiment is 5 days on, 2 days off per week. I say cycle off because you want to make sure you body is naturally producing testosterone and doesn’t become dependent on it. The "readjustments" you mentioned remind me of Kundalini awakening symptoms. Long term retainers are susceptible to an awakening. There are many ways of managing these readjustments btw. You might want to read Kundalini Tantra for starters.
I was just telling a friend about it and googled to see if anyone talked about it here. This supplement is really fascinating. I immediately feel benefits in the head. It's hard to even describe what it does, even though it feels really powerful. I should say that from what i've researched and from my experience, this needs to be a liquid tincture - to be absorbed under the tongue so digestion doesn't destroy it. I also tried every tincture i could, and nothing was even close to the royal foods one. I am not sure if this is my body constitution or what, but the effects are particular and noticable with royal foods vs others. Also just by looking at it, you can see chunks and the liquid solution looks more organic and real, others seem very clear and burn the tongue because of alcohol. Butagain, my experience, do your own research. Anyways, definitely the most fascinating supplement i've tried

The modern day scientific method has a very reductionist approach.
For instance, you cannot quantify things like "manifestation", because the very presence of an observer already influences the experiment.
There's also phenomena which have incredible logical consequences such as the famous "double slit" experiment, where particles behave differently on the subatomic level... but only as long as there is not a human being or a recording device observing them.
Basically, we know that there's a X factor which "guides" the quantum field of probabilities into one particular "phase" and that is the basis for Schrodinger's Cat experiment (maybe I'm butchering the name).
What is that thing that "guides" it? Consciousness? Certainly something has to be "aware" in order to "guide" it. Is it too much to make a leap from that and concede that if THAT is possible (and the double slit experiment is in fact proven possible), then certainly other metaphysically questionable phenomena are probable as well.
