> To ignore the plight of those one might conceivably save is not wisdom—it is indolence.
Said to the twins' father in a similar situation here
In-world they're considered as adults. One of the tales from the calamity short stories: > the twins were now sixteen summers old─old enough to be considered of age in Sharlayan society
So it'd make sense that they're allowed to drink.

I really don't understand the kind of "enjoyment" peoples can get from this picture... I mean, should post this boring picture of one of my chars to farm karma? But i guess he doesn't look "unique" enough for that...
I was actually looking forward to using this hairstyle but I wish it was more curly.
Unsure if you've seen it, but the design it's based on from the contest does a lot more to tick some of those boxes than what we ended up getting.
Yeah, it’s funny because in the ARR short story it describes them as being 16 summers before leaving Sharlayan for Eorzea, and it also adds . ““Recent graduates of the Studium, the twins were now sixteen summers old─old enough to be considered of age in Sharlayan society.” So basically they’re considered young adults in universe. Which I know is super jarring to most Americans but to myself, an European and probably to a Japanese consumer that’s not a big deal, it’s couple of years past the average age of consent and they’ll be considered too old for juvie, heck most teens here are active by then, so honestly if it came out that either of them got a boo or w.e I’d be like awww. But not if it’s projared-Emet, hell no.
It depends on whether you wish to learn about making them, or about their usage. If you wish to know about smithing, I would recommend this book.
If You are interested about the usage, I'd recommend Book of the Sword
I tried one for a bit before returning it. The position of the speakers sounds off-putting, but it's pretty decent (not $250 decent, though). I didn't like how it tugged my t-shirt around and I kept fidgeting with it on my shoulders.
The microphones were top-notch, though, and actually cancel all speaker output while you're talking so all they hear is your voice.
I originally bought them so I could use them 24/7, because at the time I was using my monitor's built-in speakers for normal play and a headset for playing with voice chat (they get tiring to use for a long period). I returned them because I'm an idiot and bought a stellar set of speakers instead.
The hardest part of playing MNK is definitely looking at your Buff and Debuffs. Some people memorize the pattern and force a loop but there's a new conditional enhancements bar we can use.

I believe this is the adaptor you need to make it work, the one in full packaging may be available through Microsoft's store or something similar.
What's worse is that there's a bit in one of the official short stories that takes the time to specifically point out that 16 is the age of legal responsibility in Sharlayan.
Found it yesterday when I was looking for something in one of the "From the Calamity" tales (still can't find the one with Zenos and his trainer that I was looking for).
Context was the twins leaving Sharlayan on their journey to Eorzea.
But...yeaaaaaah:
"Five years later, a ship once more glided slowly out of the harbor.Alphinaud and Alisaie stood on the gently rolling deck, watching the gradually shrinking figure of their father, alone upon the quay.
Recent graduates of the Studium, the twins were now sixteen summers old─old enough to be considered of age in Sharlayan society. And so, although he opposed his children's planned journey, Fourchenault had not sought to bar their way."
Even if they're "adults" I'm still going to have trouble seeing them that way. Even after they get whatever massive giraffe growth spurt that Elezen go through.

As soon as they caught flak for it they stopped running it. Automatic red flag. Games dont do this unless they're doing shady shit. No anticheat works like this, not even Warden.
https://elderscrolls.bethesda.net/en/tes25
Bethesda has a free download for morrowind for their 25th elder scrolls anniversary - play that. It's still the best elder scrolls imo, even though the graphics are extremely dated by today's standards (its been, what almost 2 decades?).
So download that https://github.com/Orbmu2k/nvidiaProfileInspector/releases
I've just saved the folder in Documents, then run the exe
Ok so for reference I have a non gsync/freesync 60hz monitor.
You can set the frame rate limiter and it overrides applications set fps. The one I have it set on is to match my fps to my monitor's hz rate so that I get 0 tearing, so for example the game would output at 150, but then I get screen tearing so the setting I have now will automatically lower it to match the hz so that there's no tearing.
But you can also set it to any fps you want, and you'll notice even if you pick 30fps in game, it'll still go over it because the graphic card is ignoring it. If they add the 90 fps as an option then it still won't matter because the 30 and 60 options don't matter with this method. If I set 30fps in game now, it's still 60fps because of the nvidia setting.
I've set that on my global profile so that any game benefits from it but you can pick ffxiv from the top menu, they have some preset adjustments for the game as well.
Try it out then run the benchmark you should be able to see a difference. There's also a bunch of other cool options, but I wouldn't mess with the anti-aliasing ones on the default profile since it'll affect everything, better to use the individual game profile for that.
The photo is from the Final Fantasy Ultimania Archive Volume III
I pulled it from someone's album of it they posted on hunt discord
So a lot of people will recommend VPNs. I personally used ExpressVPN, you have to pay a monthly subscription for it though. I never actually tested my ping before and after using it, but I was happy with it.
Some things that I was taught in game is to jumping out of AOEs or change directions like moving left and right. This forces the server to update your location in game and helps make up for some latency.
