Hiya panther :D
Good on you for getting into digital art! I'm afraid I don't use Photoshop very much, so I can't really tell you what to get, but from my experience CS5 and CS6 are excellent and full of all kinds of awesome editing tools. Problem is Photoshop is really really expensive... although if you want you can pay a subscription fee of $19.99/month to use it. They do have a 1 month free trial on the Adobe website.
My suggestion for someone starting out in digital art would be to use inexpensive or free editing/painting software to get the feel for it first. /u/TGarms showed me an excellent program called Krita which is free and works like a charm! I think painting in Krita is better and less clunkier than painting in photoshop tbh. But anyway it has the tools to get you started. Other programs include GIMP (free but hard learning curve), Paint Tool SAI ($50, my preferred program), and OpenCanvas (available on Steam).
Depending on what digital art you want to make, you likely also want to invest in a drawing tablet if you haven't already. You should be able to find some inexpensive, older Wacom drawing tablets on Amazon! They will last you a long while. I would suggest a Bamboo Create small tablet ($50-60), or a small Intuos (~$99)
Let me know if you need any more tips/suggestions :)
I actually liked the first red panda one more; the name banner looked better. I think the background colors of that banner don't match the blue and the house will be too small to see anyway :3
But the Red Panda is even better now!
Maybe this helps, it's a cool tool I think: https://color.adobe.com/de/emblem4thbykubuk13-d8i1cmg-color-theme-5414966/
You could try running a virus scan etc. through it.
What anti-virus software do you have?
You could try running malwerebytes anti rootkit.
Running CCleaner (removes a lot of temporary files, cookies etc).
Running a scan with malwarebytes anti malware.
And possibly doing a bootup scan with avast (that takes a while).
That should be pretty thorough.
Another thing, how old is the computer?
I assume you bought it pre-built. Have you ever tried dusting it? Altough if you don't know what you are doing there it could end badly.
You could try checking your CPU temperature when running to see if that might be an issue. This program should work for that.
Just be careful against static electricity, you could use a compressed air can or simply a small brush. It's what I used last time I cleaned the computer, with a small paint brush for cleaning the CPU-fan.
If you get compressed air be careful with how you tilt the can as it can spray a bit of liquid.
If all else fails maybe try reinstalling smite?
just take my word on it.
when i lived in the us i used to work with programming, had my own antivrus software that worked as a buddy addon for the one the client used. this should give you a little insight to my depth of knowledge when it comes to pc stuff.
ccleaner doesnt cleanly delete files nor does it have safe registry cleaning.
it often fragments your hdd (which will cause corruptions and slow downs) and on the registry side its taking 1 step forward and a leap backwards.
now youre thinking, ive never had an issue etc etc.. well just because you've been driving for 10 years doesnt mean an accident cant happen.
what can you do instead?
doing this means you get fast pc restores without needing to download drivers/updates everytime.
i personally do 6 system restores a year, takes 45 minutes to have a 100% clean and fresh windows up and running again and if you use steam you can backup your games so you dont even need to download them again... i personally have a 20TB nas in my house so pretty much everything i NEED gets backed up daily.
now scythe doesnt have a nas setup, but having an updated fresh restore point to use is extremely important and safer.
Well, you got to give yourself a project or something you want to do. I can't tell you that. But if you have a hard time thinking of anything and just want some example assignments to work with then maybe something like codechef could work: http://www.codechef.com/problems/easy/
What is it that you want to do with it? If you ask yourself that then maybe you can figure out something appropriate. (Assuming this is all voluntary work and not some assignment you need to do with it).
Cheap good sound quality. mic, hasnt been something i test much.. but i can sound check if you want.
only problem i have with it is the fact that it sits on ear rather than around it. so if you have sensitive ears, it will hurt after a few hours..
it also cancels out background noises ;)
