Anyone in The 'Naish looking for an easy entry into the wealth of 40k lore: I cannot recommend enough the Eisenhorn and Ravenor series'. Altogether, it is a truly epic series full of intrigue, mystery, deception, ruinous powers, and assassins. It gives you a better feel for the terrible responsibility and morally-dubious machinations of the Imperial Inquisition, and a glimpse into the "street-level, everyday -side" of life in the 41st Milennium (until it waaaaaaaaay doesn't...).
Written by the amazing Dan Abnett (Superman, Batman, Guardians of the Galaxy, Judge Dredd, Star Trek, and too many others to name), they are two of my favorite series of all time (and soon to be a TV series for Amazon Prime!).

The lineup has changed (not surprising because it's Delta Green) but the Madness continues! We've just released our 30th episode with some really exciting stuff in it. We're huge Glass Cannon fans and they inspired us to check out Delta Green, our collective favorite new game.

Absolutely do it! I just gifted my coworker Fallout 2 via GOG.com and it makes me want to play all over again. I stopped counting how many times I've played the first two and I've probably put 300 hours into New Vegas.
Pathbuilder is an app for android that makes building characters quick and easy. Here's a link. Everything is sorted into level by level gains and can even export all your decisions onto a PDF character sheet so once you're done, press of a button and you have your sheet ready to go. Seriously it's probably one of the easiest ways I've found to piece a character together, and with it being on my phone I can fool around with it during downtime at work.
Skid's pronunciation of it is not one I've heard before. I've always pronounced it as suggested by this guide from the Cambridge dictionary. Nor is this a British/American thing, it appears to just be a Skid thing.
It's chemistry equipment like this one (just an example; I don't know this particular brand). A spinning magnet in the base rotates a plastic-coasted magnet that you drop into your bottle or flask, which allows you to mix a fluid in a sealed container.
I like the Bormioli rocco bottles. I grind a few tablespoons into cold purified water, drop the stir magnet in, then walk away. You can let it run all night on the counter if you want! If you have a good seal on your fridge, you can set the machine in your fridge to get an all-night cold stir.
I think Matthew was probably going for the formal valediction favoured in the 17/1800s such as
>My Lord, Your lordship's most humble, most obedient servant, Sam. Johnson, "Letter to Lord Chesterfield," Samuel Johnson, 1755
English has long had a tradition of abbreviations although valedictions, as a piece of formal writing, withstood most of them until the 19th century. These long valedictions were eventually whittled down to the common form we see today:
>"I remain, Sir, your faithful and obedient servant" / "Yours Faithfully"
There remain a few, rare times when the full English valediction is still employed. Diplomatic correspondence tends to be very formal indeed and it was considered good manners to conclude letters to ambassadors and Governors-General in Commonwealth realms with the full valediction until the early 1980s. As of 2000, Debrett's still mentions the full valediction although it described it as somewhat "old-fashioned" even then, so it may be totally out of use today although I wouldn't be surprised if it was still used sparsely in official documents between the Foreign Office and accredited ambassadors to the United Kingdom.
Blades in the Dark has a very cool post-apocalyptic, haunted, steampunk setting, with a ton of interesting factions competing with one another. Here's an article that was just posted about it.
I believe that all of the negative levels were still temporary, right? That means they wouldn’t need the material component, meaning they can take back their 1000gp https://roll20.net/compendium/pathfinder/Restoration#content
I'd like to humbly recommend the podcast I'm on, PLAYING WITH MADNESS. Our first season was an original Delta Green Adventure, our second season is a Mork Borg apocalyptic pirate story. All original music and a cast I'm really proud of:
Playing With Madness
I've never liked Syrinscape, personally.
Check out https://tabletopaudio.com
It is 100% free. It has a bunch of ambience tracks for all settings. There are over two dozen sound pads with sound fx and music, also for multiple settings.
Ooh, might check that out. The Case of Charles Dexter Ward is one of the only Lovecraft stories I haven't read.
If anyone is interested in more Lovecraftian narrative audio, our Delta Green podcast is really taking off. I think people might be really surprised by how the Lovecraftian Lore ties into the story.

Not too jump on someone else's bandwagon, but if you want more Delta Green the fifth episode of our brand new Delta Green actual play PLAYING WITH MADNESS just premiered! If you're liking the horror/comedy genre please check out us out.

For those who are looking for a pc game to kill few hours i recommend checking out Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice on gog.com , it's on 66% sale and i believe that offer ends today.
It's a good game that won't take long to finish and has a good story and amazing sound (headphones recommended). It also touches topics that no other game i know of does ( >!The game emulates experiences of a person with schizophrenia!< ), and although nature of those topics are very heavy the game does not lose on it's appeal because of them.
Grant has/had one of these made by Aukey, but the Aukey ones appear to be discontinued.
This is the current one I could find that has all the same features:

You can get an android emulator like Bluestacks and run any android app on your PC with that. They won't sync up AFAIK, but it'll get you running on it, and Podcast addict has a "mark all previous as viewed" option, so if you get a few episodes ahead on one, it should be easy to get up to date on the other
I appreciate all the work that must have gone into this but I've had plenty of success with this script from the Paizo fora...
I'm running a War for the Crown campaign with a group of friends. Tried to take a page out of Troy's book and make the characters deeper by doing those flashback sequences. It's going well and we've had a lot of fun; we're already on book 3 after starting in May. The session summaries I'm writing into a blog if anyone would care to read: https://wordpress.com/view/d20tabletalk.wordpress.com
To anyone wishing they had D&D Beyond for Pathfinder, I'd like to direct you to Pathbuilder for androids. While it doesn't really hold your hand for building characters, it does work for helping show you things like feat/archetype options that are legal choices for what you have already selected. And if you have iPhone... I dunno, get an android emulator? And there's a 2e version, but I haven't made the switch to 2e so I can't comment on that.
sure, if you don't mind.
My group and I have been talking about starting our own podcast for a while now (I swear, we've been talking about this since well before we knew that the Glass Cannon Podcast was a thing). For the past year or so we've been recording our sessions using a Blue Yeti in the middle of the table. Just listening to an episode of GCP told me that was not going to work anymore. Just the background noises that I couldn't edit out and the people talking over one another and the difference in natural speaking voices between us all adds up to a nightmare in editing.
Now, we realize this and are looking into equipment to get to address these issues. We already have this mixer. I was pointed towards these microphones as well as pretty good quality mics to start with. I am also of the understanding that this mixer will work with these mics because they are Dynamic mics and don't require phantom power, allowing us to use the 1/4" inputs on the mixer for some of them.
What are your opinions on what we have so far? I know we will need floor/table stands to go with the mics and cords to run to the mixer as well. Are the Amazon Basics cords ok to use, or do you have a better (fairly inexpensive) option?
I appreciate you taking the time.
Pathbuilder is better for building legal characters, then copy that build to HeroLab if that's your sheet of choice (I prefer this one, because when it's broken I can fix it my own damn self).
