DO NOT use this to send passwords or credit card numbers!!!
This is in NO WAY secure enough to transmit sensitive information. If the server or communication channels are compromised, your 'secret' will be free for the taking. This is no more secure than using basically any other website to send your secrets, save the purported 'one-time-use' URLs. You may as well use SnapChat to communicate credit card info at that point.
If you must transmit sensitive information, use PGP encryption. GnuPG is a great add on for email, read more here: GnuPG.org
Otherwise, this is a neat website with a clean UI. I'm not sure of a good case for use, but it certainly isn't sharing credit card details.
This isn't a website, but if an application is acceptable... youtube-dl
It supports downloading from ~800 streaming sites currently including youtube, and has tons of options for quality being downloaded, reencoding, audio only, etc
Check out our welcome message if you want to read more about how the site works and the features: https://saidit.net/s/SaidIt/comments/37r/welcome_to_saiditnet/
Enjoy! And feel free to ask if you have any questions.
CloudConvert. You can convert documents, photos, videos, audio etc. between many different formats. If you are familiar with things like ffmpeg and imagemagick, you can even input custom commands for those tools when converting.
>High-quality password generator ...
... in a web-browser.
It's not secure at all. Page can be cached, saved on HDD/SSD, web-browsers take screenshots of websites you visit. The passwords are generated on server-side and transferred to your browser, that means, it can be stored on their servers, traffic intercepted, (dis)advantage is it works without JavaScript, minus: password is generated on server-side, plus: no other JS script can track/copy this password... nah. Just use keePass, it's secure, mature, for all platforms, integrates with browsers - keefox
Whoa! I'm pretty impressed this site has Nightmare on Elm St and The Black Cauldron those two games were a childhood staple. And the Kings Quest ones.
Imagemagic can do this with ease. Use "convert" like here http://www.imagemagick.org/Usage/layers/#append
convert 1.gif 2.gif +append output.gif
I'm assuming Windows? You can just download the exe. It has python embedded in it, no need to set it up separately.
There's also youtube-dl-gui that you might want instead if you'd like a graphical interface. https://mrs0m30n3.github.io/youtube-dl-gui/
IF is not a bad mobile app that works on the idea of If <this> happens then do <that>.
Here is a link https://ifttt.com/products. Maybe I'm missing a massive difference since I've not used Wachete yet but this sounds like it could come in handy.
That's pretty awesome! I will check to see if it's on IOS right away. Thank you ever so much for the extra app.
Edit:
IOS APP alternative : https://trakt.tv/
Andriod APP mentioned : http://seriesgui.de/
I found this: https://blitapp.com/
From what I can tell, it sends screenshots of images to your own private email. I have never used it. I found it through this page: https://alternativeto.net/software/wayback-machine/
I agree. Bad choice on the name IMO but, it's the internet. Most of that information...and a lot more...can be found with a few google searches.
I guess maybe it is for those who don't understand that it's like posting pictures and updates of their personal life to a college bulletin board that the whole world can see. Then get creeped out when someone recognizes them on campus.
The information is readily available and I don't see how it can be expected that no one look at the information.
Here's one that searches over 500 sites by username
EDIT: And another example:

Oooooo, I'd not heard of Wickr. I'm going to run it by my encryption-obsessed friend and see what they think, because we've been looking for an encrypted group-chat thing for some time - and this one is cross-platform too, which is awesome. Thank you!
Edit: My encryption-enthused friend says that because Wickr's not open source and has no way to compare fingerprints or key pairs or something, we have no reassurance that our data is actually safe. They sent me this article, which I found interesting.
Thanks for the feedback, glad you like it so far! And great ideas, especially about the features roadmap. Currently I'm trying to collect as much feedback as I can to prioritize what features to develop. For that I'm using a Trello board to let people add features and vote on existing ones. The idea is, I'll move them to the selected for implementation list ordered by number of votes, then pick them off. I guess that board needs to be a bit more visible as nobody seems to notice the tiny link at the bottom lol
I like using http://www.listal.com/ for game lists. Think of it kind of like the list of games on GameFAQs.com and a simple everyday to-do list. Most of the time I really just fire up LibreOffice Calc and dump my lists into a simple spreadsheet and play with the data that way. There's so many ways you can accomplish what you are seeking to do.
If you need further help, let me know, and I will try to help you in any way that I can.
I've been searching for this thing for a while and I came up dry. Your gonna have to build it your self. Or, you can just settle for a spreadsheet system and send yourself a link to the spreadsheet with IFTTT [ifttt.com] or a similar service
Here's how I setup my spreadsheet [i.imgur.com]
Edit> you should also add 4 to the end of the counta(), like so> COUNTA(B4:B9) + 4
Here is an direct link to the portable x86 version or portable x64.
Windows is making an update right now, so I can not test this. Just PM me if you have any questions.
too many ads and popups on such an early stage of website promotion.. if we talking newcomers, i like new <em>keepvid</em> - good for mp3 download too and no ads. at least right now.. i know, eventually they all get covered in ads.. and popups./.
Did you try Mobirise app https://mobirise.com/ ? It has a really easy structure for site building.
I always use this app for small landin pages as they have free templates like Mobirise 3 and 4.
As it's a free application, it has a lot of opportunities. I tryed this program several weeks ago and mow constantly
use it in my work.
I like https://pinboard.in. Has an option to save a copy of the pages you bookmark in case they take it offline; can auto-import from pocket, instapaper, readability, twitter; and doesn't try to be a social network but you can share if you want.
I wonder if it works for languages other than English. I use the free PDF-Xchange Viewer (Windows) to achieve the same thing, and can choose other languages.
for the lazy :) I will only link the Evernote one because google calendar everyone knows about and Trello I've already linked twice.
