> I saw the asshole that did it, but they were too far away to see a plate or anything identifiable on their POS car.
After you get your vehicle back, check out a dash cam and high endurance SD card. You can hardwire a camera like that into the car's power supply, and set it up in a mode where it'll trigger based on an internal accelerometer, so that you get immediate recording after an impact like this even if it's parked.
The quality is excellent. I successfully used it to get a windshield repair from a gravel hauling company, after the video showed their truck passing me and the chunk of gravel flying right out of their half-opened bed and into my windshield. These are those fuckos who've got the "not responsible for broken windshields" lies pasted on their trucks, so you better believe that $50 chip repair felt great.

Got a 20 foot roll of 3M tape from amazon for about $15 here. Ending up doing the front grille, rear bumper, and side view mirrors with a ton left over. Super simple, literally just press on and you’re good to go
Curb rashed my wheel so I decided to do something about it. I ordered the "61K Subaru OEM Touch Up Paint" and Grit to fix it. It's not perfect but It works for me. I hope this helps anyone in the same situation.
that looks very intensive lol
i looked for "led strip 194" on amazon and found this: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B076YK84NY/. I just purchased it. 194 is the bulb fitting for the trunk light. there's also another one by ijdmtoy that does not have as many LEDs as this one.
As others said, that spring should be under tension. You need a coilover wrench like this (not this exact one, that's just what they look like). You need to use the wrench to wind the top nut up to the spring. A general rule of thumb is that after the nut contacts the spring, go up another 5mm. Then you want to use the lower nut to lock it in place. This is general advice, and I recommend you take it to a professional to get them properly adjusted and inspected because they look pretty trashed and might need replacement.
Must resist dick joke......
In all seriousness, I love the OEM sti knob. Not too expensive and feels really premium.
Edit: and ofcourse, install will be a piece of piss since it's oem.
On amazon, they sell an adapter kit that goes in european holes. It has screws with rubber pieces. As you screw it in the rubber expands. Ive had it on for 8 months now with no issues.
Something like this...
I just got the Viofo A119 v3 and really like it, not too expensive and records in 1600p. The parking option is what I really like, motion detection recording and g sensor where it saves 15 seconds before detection and 30 seconds after so it get everything that happened, not just video of someone driving away.

Put you car upside down and it'll fall out. That's how I changed the oil in my toyota once.
What year? It's just going to be clips and screws. Pull on it gently and look where it's being held down, there will be a clip or screw there. Repeat until it's off.
Buy a grabber thing: https://www.amazon.com/Grabber-flexible-Four-claw-magnetic-01-Picker/dp/B07BT3X4FV/ They don't wear out so unless you destroy or lose it it'll last you your life and you'll be very glad when you need it, like right now.
People suck and are jealous, nothing you can do about it unfortunately.
If your worried about this I would recommend a dashcam with a parking mode. A dashcam is a very worthwhile investment in itself but with the addition of parking mode it will record any movement around the vehicle or any bumps that the car feels while parked.
I just put the BlackVue DR590x in my car. Pretty happy with it so far. If you want more info head over to r/dashcam I'll do my best to answer any questions you may have as well.

Yikes. The top part looks like it might buff out (unless that’s just dirt) but you’re gonna have to touchup the section just above the fog lights. Subaru sells touchup paint, and then you’ll need this special little tool for applying the paint. I’ll see if I can find the YouTube link for how to fix those for ya. That’s so shitty but it happens to the best of us :(
Edit: here’s an amazon link to the tool that was recommended to me for applying the paint: Loew-Cornell Fine Line Painting Pen https://www.amazon.com/dp/B004YZXV8U?ref=yo_pop_ma_swf
It can read the sensor IDs from the summer set, then input the IDs from the winter set (assuming you know them). I got my IDs from tire rack when I got a new set. There is also a tool available on amazon that can read TPMS IDs, more expensive. It plugs into the car's OBD port to get the info and reset the IDs, and you need a windows PC/laptop to run the software. It was a little bit of a pain to get right the first time but I have it figured out now. Also, a laptop is nice so I don't have to run back and forth to the PC while trying to get these things working.
My local garage quoted me $100 to swap winter/summer and reset TPMS for one car. We have two cars, so that would be $400/year. My floor jack and TPMS sensor paid for themselves in one year.
ATEQ reset tool: https://www.amazon.com/ATEQ-QuickSet-TPMS-Reset-Tool/dp/B008SCWXN4
If you don't know your sensor IDs you can use this to read them, but it's another expense. You could also go to a tire place. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00AERMVYC/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Do you mean using the Japanese standard holes for a license plate? If so I bought mine on amazon. It came with 2 screws and you place the rubber screw expander first then the screw and its super sturdy. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01EKVUJC8/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
First off, that is a gorgeous canine my friend. Secondly, I saw a post a while back where somebody recommended this seat cover for their dogs in the rear based on fitment. I think it should cover the windowsill, but I could be wrong. If I traveled with my pup often, I’d definitely get one like it though
You’ll laugh when you check this out… but as you can see, if you spend the time and snug it up tight, it turns out pretty nice! So here you go… My Front Lip
I did full Kicker CS, rear door 6.5" coax, front doors and dash I did the kicker CS 6.75"/tweeter component set. You'll need these tweeter adaptors among other things to make it a factory fresh no modification install. These are running off a Pioneer DMH-W4660NEX head unit. Then added a Kicker CXA400.1 amp and Kicker CompR 10" sub in a Sound Ordinance Bass Bunker box. With Maestro unit and all the labor and adaptors all the factory steering wheel controls and backup camera work right. You just lose the armrest console ports. Had to buy a separate XM radio tuner. All in about 1800 bucks. It doesn't get as loud as the HK 440W system in my 14 Legacy Limited but the lower range is much much better. Could add an Amp for the doors and dash later to make it louder but it's already more than the wife can handle as it is... so we're good.
I just use Bell license plate mount with some well nuts that affix it to the existing holes.

holy crap it looks aggressive af now! nice work dude! toss some LEDS in the base housings, i did so recently and its a massive upgrade, just gotta get the right ones to keep the same beam pattern. im running these guys and they have been amazing so far, check out the cutoff

also, now you can startle the shit out of people with those loud ass horns 😂
I use these low ramps. Clears my front lip and high enough to get a low profile jack to the center jack point. Was able to do a quick oil change too with a bit of stretching
Eww that's gross! A sock really? *gag*
Look into getting a beanie like this Shift Knob Beanie I had a colleague who liked knitting and she was able to make me one after showing her a picture and giving her some dimensions.
Really helps in the winter and also the summer.
For a joke I was thinking of getting a tiny Sombrero for summer like this Tiny Sombrero should keep the sun off it/cool and would also look hilarious to anyone who window peaks to see if you're driving a manual or CVT XD
There are a couple defroster options out there now. I have this one - Defroster Mount - and it’s worked great so far.
This lip
A pressurized bleeder is worth its weight in gold. I've used the Motive one several times. Makes a one man brake bleed possible and eliminates the risk of air trapped. Just make sure you get the right adapter and follow the directions carefully so you don't over pressurize it.
I was looking at a mesh insert for it to protect against squirrels, etc.

As far as I understand spline and tuner are not mutually exclusive. You need to have "tuner style" with the 60 degree conical seat for the AV06s. Somebody else can correct me if I am wrong.

I just got these same headlights. The only LED bulbs I found that fit are these. I tried 2 other brands but the ones with the load resistors don't fit through the rubber locking piece for the bulb without having to cut. Only issue now is my high beams come on when my foglights are on. Still trying to figure that out.
This is how they look on my car with just parking lights on.
Been running them a year or so now. You will rarely use your high beams. They are that good.
Rain/pollen combo? My car is black and I've basically given up for the time being lol
In all seriousness though, I've found wax helps a lot with this kind of thing. You can usually take a car duster like this and just wipe off the dirt. Even if there's no wax, it can sometimes make a big improvement.
You can use the stock ones but flip them sideways to bring them up if they sag. Like in this vid. https://youtu.be/K0UuX3Cf1SY
You can also use these, https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00N3VHKCO/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_fabc_2B8YY380ZY9G3W1DJZA3
But it's 40$ for 2 of them. I had these but they literally did the same thing as flipping the hangers sideways.
Also have seen people wrap heavy duty zip ties for the oem hangers to squeeze them together to raise the tips
Those rhino ramps with a front lip will rub every time. You can get a pair of race ramps for lower cars and it's high enough to get to the center jack point. I use "discount ramps" from Amazon.

I never leave the car on them though, always jack the car with jacks and use em as a safety
Edit: a simple 2x4 setup works too
Havent done it in the wrx. But i did in my old jeep. I used something like this And just plugged it into the factory usb and ran the wire underneath the console and drilled a hole into the dash for the usb outlet. Worked like a charm.

Almost a year later and it’s working beautifully and is extremely bright. Only thing is the t-taps that come with it are trash so you’ll either need to buy better taps or splice the wires (which is what I did).
I use this thing I picked up from Amazon. Has Velcro and feet on the bottom so it doesn’t slide. I put my backpack and grocery bags in there every day and it never slides around. Also it’s collapsible so you can tuck it away to fit other items. It even comes with two bungeee cords in case you need those for anything.

It’s electric and works fantastic
However, for deck work. This ain’t it. Electric ones can’t hold their pressure for more than 20-30 seconds.
In short. My model is great for washing cars. And won’t have the strength to do real work. Ask yourself what would you use it for and go from there.

Scan the ODB2 port and see what the code is. From there, you should at least know what sensor is throwing the check light.
I had similar issues that the dealer would just reset, so I got a Bluetooth scanner that I just leave permanently connected. When it goes off, my phone looks the code up and if it is bullshit, I can just reset it myself. I use Torque as the software. Pretty cool to just watch all of your data with it too.
I have this too. Not too loud but noticeable over stock. Deeper tone. Lowest price I found was on Amazon BORLA 140595 S-Type Cat-Back Exhaust System https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00UMZIWEY/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_Rl5NBb60WDBSK
The size as far as I can tell is 68mm outer 64mm inner. I've ordered these, they just came in the mail today so I haven't confirmed fitment yet. If they fit I plan to put some Enkei logos on them using gold vinyl and a cricut.
I don't know how/if it's going to work just yet but even if I fail completely I'm only out like $20 lol.
You could always order a small roll of good quality vinyl in carbon fiber and cut it to size yourself.

This is the exact kit I bought as my VERY FIRST couple mods to the car since I got it. It's held up well over the past 3.5 years so don't let the cheapness scare you compared to those $50+

I’d recommend Adam’s Wheel Cleaner. I find it to work exceptionally well on rims/calipers that give off tons of brake dust. The cleaner turns purple as it dissolves the iron particles. If I’m cleaning my car weekly, I just spray it on, let it dwell for a few minutes then hose it off. Light agitation might be required if I don’t wash the car for a month.
I have had this on my car for over a year and it has done the trick. I got black hardware instead of what came with the kit, just for aesthetics, but you would hardly notice either way. This was nice if you like a symmetrical front end like myself.
My car has screws going through my plates and through the plate holder. I have four holes but only use two screws. I got some silicone plate holders that i really like.

Thanks! I got the cheapo ones on Amazon and I put them on like a week ago so I don’t really know yet. Some people said they don’t fit, but I had no problem. Maybe because it’s a replica wing idk. I had gotten 3 originally, but the middle one didn’t fit so I returned it. Also, they are a pain in the ass to install.

It can download the codes already programmed into the ECU, and then you program the codes for the second set of wheels yourself using a computer and the included USB cable. Then its as easy as plugging in the unit, pressing either the summer or winter button, and disconnecting.
No pressure washer needed. This is the stuff I used. Application is easy. Just give your car a good wash and use any swirl removing and/or scratch removing creams, polish the car down, and then do the ceramic spray and polish again. Makes future washes easier too.Chemical Guys Ceramic
Thanks! Yeah it's kinda subtle but really brings the back end of the car together.
Here ya go:
Not on the axle backs just the midpipe. They pretty much cut two points and weld it on. I wouldn't assume doing that would cost too much. I'm planning on doing it to my practically straight piped setup and seeing the difference because I'm not a big fan of spending nearly 1k just for me to think its too quiet or not good enough
If you have a 3 inch catback, this is great appently
Checkout this helmholtz resonator stuff. It's really interesting and you can completely figure out how to get rid of drone at certain RPMs with math
Yeah, just try and install one and see if it makes a difference
I too had trouble with first (little bit with second) and was immediately gone after the shift stop install. Takes like 5-10 minutes of time and the change is noticeable almost immediately
I bought this really cheap shift stop 3 years ago and it hasn't failed me yet
Discount Ramps on Amazon, rhino ramps are too steep with a front lip
If its third party, maybe check the OBD2 port and see if anything is connected to it. Something that looks like this. I had a used dealer try to add this on to their cars for an extra $400.
Amber aka yellow. The terms are used interchangeably. These. Yes the high beams are bright which is why you have to unplug the DRL plug because they burn at 100% all the time unlike halogens which will burn at like 30% in DRL mode and full bright as high beams. To be honest those low beams work so well we rarely use the high beams or fogs. Best low beams ever. If you want maximum visibility at night though, this combination delivers.
All I can tell you is what I did. I put this kit in my high beam and fogs, unplugged the DRL's and then put these in the low beams. I can light up the world. They all match pretty well and you will never again wish for more light. Car looks the sex coming down the road. I am careful with the fogs because these are pretty bright. Eventually I plan to get the Diode Dynamics SS3 kit in amber for the fogs, but until then these are wicked bright.
Don't buy it from a auto parts store they will rip you off. Check Amazon they are $70 bucks for a good one if you shop around you might find cheaper. just make sure you get the rear one not the front aka upstream you need a downstream Just look up on YouTube how to change a rear o2 sensor it's super easy you need a wrench don't remember the size or you can buy a special o2 sensor socket but it's not necessary It connect to the downpipe it will have a green connector you can get to it fairly easily aswell don't touch the sensor part on your new one with your fingers just the outer part that you see that stick out of your downpipe.

There are a bunch of light colour options to pick from - though in my state all are illegal to drive with lol
My dealer told me that I don't want them to drill into the bumper when I picked it up. Ended up picking up a JDM adapter plate on amazon: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01EKVUJC8/
It's a simple plastic backing with expanding rubber fasteners. I stabilized it with some foam weatherstripping to ensure it doesn't wobble. I also got a recessed chrome frame from a local auto shop.
A center mounted plate looks better imho, asymmetry is not my thing.
$60 for a 10' x 5' roll from Amazon here. I think the 6' x 5' would have been enough though for just the roof but I wanted the extra to do some other parts (S207 style)
You can achieve that look by using LED bulbs like these https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00PGRGSH6/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
You will have to wire-in some resistors (look at the 'frequently bought together' section on the amazon page) or buy the flash module from the link below, otherwise the signals will hyperflash

Yes, get a kit from Amazon (KINGLAKE Auto Door Clip Panel Trim Removal Tool Kits for Car Dash Radio Audio Installer Pry Tool 4Pcs https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00HNMLQAG?ref=yo_pop_ma_swf) or wrap a flat head screw driver with electrical tape. Start from the front clip on the left and work you way towards the back. The right side also has a front clip near the windshield and you have to work your way from back to front.
Also- get 3M clear auto tape to put under the mount feet(3M Clear Scotchgard Paint Protector Vinyl Wrap .5" Wide Tape Roll (.5" x 48") https://www.amazon.com/dp/B072KF647X?ref=yo_pop_ma_swf) to prevent scratching the paint.
I want to say I used a 3/8”bit to drill through the roof gutters. Bought new bits so they were very sharp.
I have been buying mine from Amazon for $8 USD: Genuine Subaru 15208AA170 Oil Filter Complete, 1 Pack https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00LD1J362/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_UKERAbGFM1RXM
Unsure on dealership price for a change as I do mine myself.
I use the Urpower dog car hammock from Amazon. It's $32, keeps my rear seat clean, and our big dog (70lbs young Pyrenees mix) absolutely loves it. She really chills in it when we drive and it keeps her contained quite well. Here's the link: https://www.amazon.com/URPOWER-Hammock-Scratch-Nonslip-Durable/dp/B0727Y5ZD7/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1533589389&sr=8-4&keywords=dog+car+hammock
3M 1/4" from Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0733GK8T4/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_0llGBbDAVXQ7M
Yeah, the lighting and photo effects make it look a little darker. It was parked under a covered spot, too. It's definitely orange!
I didn't do the mirrors (thought about it, but decided against it), but I did do the rear: http://imgur.com/a/WBzFrei
reviews on Amazon are solid too https://www.amazon.com/140595-S-Type-Cat-Back-Exhaust-System/dp/B00UMZIWEY/ref=au_as_r?_encoding=UTF8&Make=Subaru%7C13&Model=WRX%20STI%7C22929&Year=2018%7C2018&ie=UTF8&n=15684181&newVehicle=1&s=automotive&vehicleId=1&vehicleType=automotive

Should be standard 3 inch 2 bolt gaskets for the muffler to midpipe. If you're stock downpipe you'll need the Grimmspeed stock downpipe to 3" aftermarket exhaust adapter.
As for bolts, you might be able to use the bolts from your stock exhaust to fit. Otherwise bring it to Home Depot/Ace and find ones that are longer and same grade or higher. The Grimmspeed stock downpipe adapter comes with new hardware to connect to the exhaust.
I picked up a black carbon fiber E-brake handle from ebay when they had a 15% off site-wide sale and then picked up this E-brake button from amazon.
Subispeed has similar parts but was more expensive.
The E-brake handle just pulled off for me after letting the glue heat up sitting in the sun but you can also use a heat gun. The button was a little more difficult. I had to get a tight squeeze with vice-grips to unscrew it. Most ruin the stock button by removing it, myself included.
I had to add a dab of loctite to keep the button screwed about 75% down without turning. Any more and the button can no longer be pushed in, keeping you from disengaging the E-brake.
Are you on FB groups? Nick from New Provisions Racing can hook you up with a deal on the door speakers, they don't have the tweeters.

Just be sure to go on Subaru and DOUBLE CHECK that the part #'s on the Amazon listings match the model you need for your model and trim level and such. I'm 90% sure those links are a match, but you should def check just to be sure.
Here's an amazon link :) - https://www.amazon.com/Kenwood-Excelon-DMX905S-Multimedia-Receiver/dp/B07BSZNKC2/ref=sr_1_1?crid=3SNP6M8JQ4NMU&keywords=kenwood+excelon+dmx905s&qid=1556398444&s=gateway&sprefix=kenwood+excelon+dmx%2Caps%2C214&sr=8-1
Idk why the amazon reviews aren't the best, but it's an amazing headunit! No delay, no lag, spotify, apple car play... you name it! Super clean layout, I love it :)
I got both the bushing and shift stop from Amazon due to prime and cheaper price.
Perrin Performance PSP-INR-018 Perrin Shift Stop
Perrin Performance PSP-INR-016 Perrin Shift Bushing
The Invidia R400 is louder at cold starts and its a deep sound. At idle, it sounds stock. Below 2.5k rpm is not too loud and but does get louder at higher rpms. I do love the deep bass sound. I typically try to shift below 3k rpm when leaving my Apt community in the morning. Wife says her 18 Stock Mustang 5.0 is still louder :/
Can get something like this? Circuit Performance Spline Drive Tuner Acorn Lug Nuts Black 12x1.5 Forged Steel (24pc + Tool) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B075V25781/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_FW4fDbR23G55A I’d suggest getting better ones than Amazon though.
