>Bernie voted for the crime bill too, so it looks just as bad for him.
And he gave a speech severely criticizing the bill and warning that it would have disastrous affects, especially on minorities. He only voted for it because it had other legislation bundled within the bill. So no, it doesn't look "just as bad" for him. Meanwhile, Hillary said it was good for dealing with those "super predators" and couldn't wait to pass it.
>was supported by minorities at the time due to the crack epidemic.
Bullshit. It was criticized then just as it is now.
>While supporting the idea of addressing crime, members of the Congressional Black Caucus criticized the bill itself and introduced an alternative bill that included investments in prevention and alternatives to incarceration, devoted $2 billion more to drug treatment and $3 billion more to early intervention programs. The caucus also put forward the Racial Justice Act, which would have made it possible to use statistical evidence of racial bias to challenge death sentences.
>Given the history of selective hearing, what followed was no surprise. Black support for anti-crime legislation was highlighted, while black criticism of the specific legislation was tuned out. The caucus threatened to stall the bill, but lawmakers scrapped the Racial Justice Act when Republicans promised to filibuster any legislation that adopted its measures.

This Huff Post piece tried to pull the same B.S. ....and they just changed their headline to read "went" instead of "crashed".
I suppose we should feel good about that, but it still pisses me off they perpetuated a false narrative throughout most of today.
I suspect the fact that you posted actual but unflattering facts about Kasim Reed is the reason you're being downvoted:
> A few days before the Georgia primary, influential Atlanta Mayor Kasim Reed published a column on CNN.com praising Hillary Clinton and ripping her opponent, Bernie Sanders. Reed attacked Sanders as being out of step with Democrats on gun policy, and accused him of elevating a “one-issue platform” that ignores the plight of the “single mother riding two buses to her second job.”
> But emails released from Reed’s office indicate that the column, which pilloried Sanders as out of touch with the poor, was primarily written by a corporate lobbyist, and was edited by Correct the Record, one of several pro-Clinton Super PACs.
Not unlike naked mole rats -- which are cold-blooded like reptiles, use fructose like a plant, have a social structure that, like insects, revolves around a queen, and can go a full 18 minutes without oxygen (although 30 minutes will kill them) -- Brockroaches are just weird.
Post on!
What Happened To Bernie Sanders, it feels like maybe this book didn't get much traction because not many people know about it due to a lack of promotion and not much media attention. So perhaps, maybe we should promote this book. In fact the best thing would be if it had any content that could used to debunk myths in arguments so the book can be used as reference. That way it would be helpful in real life and would promote itself as a reference for setting the record straight.
I'm posting this because /u/martini-meow asked me to in this comment.
We've seen the growing decay and censorship on reddit as it has developed over the recent years, and instead of just sitting around feeling bad about it, we (/u/d3rr and I) have worked for 7 months to create an alternative and it has now grown to beyond 1400 users. And we would like to welcome this community to this quickly-growing website. I think you all will fit in wonderfully. We're building a community for thought-provoking ideas and discussions that aren't being had by the mainstream media, and that is exactly what I see on this sub.
If you'd like to read more about our values and rules, check out this link. Respectful exchange of ideas is our key priority, as governed by the Pyramid of Debate. https://saidit.net/s/SaidIt/comments/j1/the_saiditnet_terms_and_content_policy/
Some important differences are that instead of up and down votes, you can vote something insightful and/or funny. There is a live IRC chat channel built in to every sub's page. Nothing is hosted on Amazon servers, but rather a medium-size local business. And most importantly, the admins are not kowtowing to big money because the site is driven by user donations, and is cost-streamlined to run for years and years.
Give saidit a try and keep it in mind as things get worse here on reddit. Welcome to the site!
Great post.
9) All the way. I have been told that if we the people wanted to fund exit polls, we would need to become a PAC and then set up fundraising, like a kickstarter. Can anyone confirm this? I guess we should bite the bullet and go for it. What should we call our PAC? “NotRussianBots” or “TiredofLivinginaBananaRepublic” or??
Richard Charnin was the mathematician. Here is his book: https://www.amazon.com/77-Billion-One-Election-Fraud/dp/1539309371
> I cannot take the shit seriously with conspiracy theories and nonsense
Research "The Boys on the Tracks" and look through some of the lists and read up (gonna take some hours) before you make up your mind.
Conspiracies are real. Its how we got Vietnam, Watergate, the Iran-Contra affair, the Keating Five, the first gulf war, the second gulf war, do I need to go on? How many lives and how much money were lost/made just on those verified conspiracies I just listed? All of which were at the beginning "pooh-poohed" just as you're doing now.
I sure as hell don't believe that the list on (for example) Arkancide.com represents "the truth." But there are a lot of unsolved murders and suspicious deaths around the Clintons. A fucking lot. I don't have the time or resources to check all the stories, but I've done some cross-checking and a lot of the stories are true regarding the deaths. The connections to the Clintons are usually very clear, but of course, that doesn't prove guilt. It is a very grey area.
I'm fairly old (over 70). I've seen a lot. Trump is not a politician. Trump is a consummate con man and manipulator. Based on his whole life which is almost as long as mine....His goal is profit for Trump & family. It is why he is loosing the fossil fuel industry on our poor world. One last profit i guess. As to violence: After years of face book and other on line sources portraying violence....not to mention our TV's & movies...the wonder is that more of us are not doing it. Trump provokes more of this violence and uses it to provide cover & quickly change topics. (remember Naomi Kline and "The Shock Doctrine"..it explains how it works) . And by the way...I have not yet encountered those hordes of "the violent left".
Which is why the Clinton team worked so hard to ensure Trump was the candiate she ran against

We have Hillary Clinton and the DNC to blame for purposely making sure The Great Orange Psychopath became the GOP nominee and eventual president of the USA.
You don't have to stick with FascistBook. There is a censorship resistant social media platform - www.steemit.com. Because it's decentralized, no one can direct or choke the flow of posts. The most succinct description of the DNC strategy I've ever heard.
And for those who think I should have have put the word "strategy" in quotation marks -- ie that the Democratic establishment is "incompetent" -- no. That's the favored excuse of the liberal class, but no.
We have to remember that the ostensible strategy of the DNC is not the same thing as the actual strategy. The goal is not to "win" -- the goal is to maintain the gravy train. Once we understand that, everything else becomes clear. Why is the DNC trying its damndest to lose rather than picking the easy winner Bernie Sanders?
It all comes down to class. As Gore Vidal put it, "There is only one party in the United States, the Property Party … and it has two right wings: Republican and Democrat." When the rubber hits the road the Democrats will always choose losing with a "centrist" rather than winning with a socialist.
The same is true of every capitalist country. Even social democratic parties are ultimately designed to prevent rather than ensure equality. Granted they are far, far better than right wing parties, but their purpose is essentially the same: keep people from demanding their birthright.
We have lived in egalitarian societies for 97 percent of our history. All hierarchical systems are perverse and doomed to failure. And we will continue to fail, probably unto extinction, unless people figure this out.
I just did an image search for "Bernie Standing" and that was one of the images that came up. It's from a Bernie Cardboard cut-out that was available in 2016 on Amazon
>An Inconvenient Douche: A Parody of a Parody Paperback – December 12, 2018 by Peter Douche (Author), Dave Cohen (Illustrator)
>Most of America thought it was impossible that the least liked and trusted Democratic Presidential candidate in history could ever lose the easiest election to win in history. Popular Vote President Hillary Clinton proved America wrong. Hillary's shocking loss requires that the Democratic Party take a good hard look at how the world failed her. "An Inconvenient Douche" serves as the most honest and accurate assessment of the Democratic Party's failings a paid insider has ever provided, as well as a roadmap for losing in the future.Peter Douche knows more about losing than perhaps even the Popular Vote President herself. Whom better to provide the 2016 post mortem than someone who served as an integral strategist behind the losses of both John Kerry and Hillary Clinton? Peter Douche has a proven track record of identifying sexism and racism where they don't exist. Not only is Peter a distinguished and heavily mocked paid political strategist, he also recently became a person of color. As such, to avoid being labelled sexist and racist, I strongly suggest you read "An Inconvenient Douche."

>Here's the next passage in "It Takes a Village". Locked up for murder because… "Emotional Intelligence" SMDH
http://www.nytimes.com/1995/09/17/books/ruling-passions.html
>Daniel Goleman may then be accused of doing something unpatriotic, or at least countercultural, in "Emotional Intelligence": he refuses to oversimplify our emotional lives or to provide painless ways to manage them. Respecting the complex unity of personality, he asks what accounts for "the disintegration of civility and safety" in our daily lives, and, more to the point: "What can we change that will help our children fare better in life?" His answer: turn to the schools to teach "self-control, zeal and persistence, and the ability to motivate oneself" -- in other words, the abilities he calls "emotional intelligence."
...
>Poorly understood and badly monitored emotions are, Mr. Goleman suggests, a national problem, interfering with every aspect of our intimate and public lives. In a supposedly therapeutic age, people chant the mantras "I hear a lot of anger" or "I feel your pain," but they will not be comforted. Recognizing our highly combustible national bad mood, Mr. Goleman identifies his governing insight with that of Aristotle in "The Nicomachean Ethics": "Anyone can become angry -- that is easy. But to be angry with the right person, to the right degree, at the right time, for the right purpose and in the right way -- this is not easy."
I was skeptical so I went to Groupon and looked it up.
I'm cracking up over here. This is fantastic.
Please, Hillary, tell us that this is Comey's fault, Bernie's fault, your campaign staff's fault, the DNC's fault, and of course the fault of the voters. I can't wait to hear the deflections and accusations.
True, Rising is on The Hill, so it's still establishment media, just usually better than most establishment media. Not sure if you're familiar with Unapologetic? He has a very good video about how Krystal and Kyle have done propaganda for Biden in the past.
But still, usually Rising isn't this terrible. Like, holy fucking shit, nobody except the most diehard Blue Kool-aid drinking cultmembers give a fuck about Jan 6th anymore. Thankfully Saagar pushed back on some of the nonsense, but I'd much rather see them debating issues that are actually important.
More like 2 weeks. The deadline to submit June's numbers is June 20 by midnight, and both the DNC and the RNC almost always wait until the last day to report - usually in the late evening. I'm planning to post about the results on the morning of Friday June 21. I can't wait to see them, either.
And speaking of reaching new lows, have you seen the stats for the Great Orange Satan lately?

By the way, it's not possible to drop one into a comment, or post directly and have it just show. But...
You can make an image post, the same way you do a link one. And then you can just add a comment to it to kick things off. Just upload image. It becomes the post. Nice.
Otherwise, people running RES (Reddit Enhancement Suite) get a little icon that will expand the image inline for them, which I just did.

Two brilliant ads from '16 were made by supporters. The best was "Together"--so good the campaign bought it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nyhfJTFJHu8
It’s been described as the “best political advertisement in American history” and it’s not hard to see why. It's the most powerful political ad I've ever seen. Directed by Jonathan Olinger, Created by HUMAN.
A couple of young people in the Netherlands put together this video out of Bernie’s heartfelt and humble answer to the ‘spirituality’ question. https://mail.google.com/mail/u/0/#search/best+political+ad/FMfcgxmNwfqWdMJlvgfBWlFPxVMccvCL?projector=1

Have you seen the documentary based on Naomi Klein's book The Shock Doctrine? I highly recommend it. Very appropriately, it was released under the Creative Commons licensing system, so it's available on YouTube for free. Here's a link: https://youtu.be/B3B5qt6gsxY
Oh yes. And I remember for a few hours CTR didn't know how to respond and reddit was actually bearable:
>"When video of Mrs. Clinton falling ill on Sept. 11 exploded in the news media, the campaign, which had at first said she overheated, apologized for not revealing her diagnosis of pneumonia beforehand.

Yeah, I was aghast to see these supposed indie reporters gushing over how good Biden has been.
"left and right" is a fitting choice of words. Jones did rightly refer to himself as the canary in the coal mine, and the revival of red scare hysteria showed us the pattern that guaranteed the left would be next.
There technically are alternatives to Twitter and the sort, but we have the curious predicament where everyone is all on one service and it's a hassle to try and be on a thousand different services, especially when we have government officials and celebrities all using one of the giants.
There will be a lot of questions to figure out going down any of the popular roads I keep hearing about. At what point does one's service become a "public utility" and then start getting regulated? Who gets to regulate it if it is used worldwide?
Personally I'd like to see strong competing alternatives to the services that are currently much too big but I also see how things like employers demanding to see an applicant's Facebook account (which shouldn't be happening but does) lend to the public utility argument. And how strange it is to hear right wingers, even libertarians, bringing it up more than the left right now.
I hope Bernie brings a copy of Pow-Wow-Chow, as well as a photo of the recipe she plagiarized from a newspaper.

I was speaking roughly as it isn't quite 90%. Not trying to brag about it either just showing that the "Sanders supporters refused to vote Clinton and gave us Trump" is a media lie.
Your patients wouldn't have ended up in body bags if they'd had the insight to seek out docs who do effective early treatment.
There is very little excuse for a patient to die of COVID. But our medical regulatory authorities are whores for Big Pharma.
Here is the range of agents - most of them clinically available and generic - available for effective early treatment of COVID. Ivermectin is just a tip of an iceberg - and no competent doc uses that ALONE.
All Biden did is "announce support" for IP waiver, he didn't actually do anything yet, but of course AOC is going to act like he did. Remember how many people were celebrating his announcement to withdraw troops from Afghanistan, and then it turned out he's actually just going to privatize the war?
If the media speaks with one voice, Trump will have to listen
Sure he will.
MSM, Twitter, YouTube and Facebook, make suicide pact.
Who's surprised with the record of Democrats? >Since Alexa and other digital assistants listen for “wake up words,” police hope that someone involved in the situation either intentionally or accidentally activated the device, creating an audio record of that moment. Amazon said in its motion that transcripts and recordings of Alexa dialog are stored on Amazon servers outside of Arkansas.
>Police have used other Internet of Things devices to gather evidence in the case. A connected water meter showed that 140 gallons of water were used between 1 and 3 a.m. the night of the alleged murder. Police claim that Bates hosed down his patio and hot tub in order to hide evidence.
I unironically believe Sen. Sanders would be called a "Nazi" for his criticisms of Israel if he wasn't shielded by being Jewish. Our guy, Patrick Little, running against Feinstein is called just that. This is his message.
Warren is a faux progressive. I’ve stated it for years. She’s down in the polls and Bernie is surging so she needed controversy days before the next debate. Now the stooge pundits who moderate the debate will ask Sanders about this, framing questions in a way to infer he is sexist. And they know if he says that Warren or her campaign lied while he is on stage with her that he will essentially being calling the only viable woman left in the race a liar and “O, how dare he! See! He is sexist and against women! He’s mean!” It is a setup. Obvious.
Warren kept the details of this convo a secret for over a year but made it public a day before the debate in order to smear Sanders because she’s losing. She knowingly is attempting to damage the one other candidate running who is more progressive than her. It is beyond obvious.
Warren was a Republican for most of her life—she was voting for Republicans back when Sanders 30-50 years ago was pushing for the same platform he does currently. She sat on the fence in 2016 and didn’t back Sanders over Clinton because Clinton dangled the VP spot in front of her face. She’s fake and always has been.

I just checked out Tom Stafford's For Argument's Sake: Evidence That Reason Can Change Minds
>Are we irrational creatures, swayed by emotion and entrenched biases? Modern psychology and neuroscience are often reported as showing that we can't overcome our prejudices and selfish motivations. Challenging this view, cognitive scientist Tom Stafford looks at the actual evidence. Re-analysing classic experiments on persuasion, as well as summarising more recent research into how arguments change minds, he shows why persuasion by reason alone can be a powerful force. This is a collection of previously published essays, revised and expanded by the author, and accompanied by a previously unpublished introduction and annotated bibliography to guide further reading on the topic.Tom Stafford is Lecturer in Psychology and Cognitive Science at the University of Sheffield.
I have my doubts, but we shall see.
It's been noted that Feb. 1 is a Wednesday, not a Tuesday, and that the "Tzuday" typo is also present on his other FB page:
Not sure if a clumsy typo that was copied and pasted, or a hint at "The Art of War". Occam's Razor suggests the former, but given the circumstances, I'm less confident than I'd like that this was just a coincidental typo.
> Fascism is an authoritarian or totalitarian nationalist political ideology. Fascists seek to organize a nation according to corporatist perspectives, values, and systems, including the political system and the economy. Fascism was originally founded by Italian national syndicalists in World War I who combined extreme right-wing political views along with collectivism. Generally considered far right, the syncretic elements of Fascist ideology make it difficult to classify on a left-right spectrum. Fascists believe that a nation is an organic community that requires strong leadership, singular collective identity, and the will and ability to commit violence and wage war in order to keep the nation strong. It became politically dominant in Italy with the rise to power of Benito Mussolini, inspiring Adolf Hitler to model many of the strategies and tactics of the German Nazi Party on those of the Italian fascists. The word has also become widely applied in ways which denote nearly any promotion of tyranny or unjust oppression.

>Folks, in the coming month I expect to be talking to you about a whole lot of issues, and I’ll always be direct with you. But today I want to talk about gestures of support and encouragement that I’ve made to women and some men that have made them uncomfortable. And I’ve always tried, in my career, I’ve always tried to make a human connection ― that’s my responsibility, I think. I shake hands, I hug people, I grab men and women by the shoulders and say, “You can do this.” Whether they’re women, men, young, old, it’s the way I’ve always been, it’s the way I’ve tried to show I care about them and listen. And over the years, just knowing what I’ve been through, the things that I’ve faced, I’ve found that scores, if not hundreds of people have come up to me and reached out for solace and comfort. Something, anything that may help them get through the tragedy they’re going through, so it’s just who I am. I’ve never thought of politics as cold and antiseptic. I’ve always thought about connecting with people. As I said, shaking hands, hands on the shoulder, a hug, encouragement. Now it’s all about taking selfies together, you know. Social norms have begun to change, they’re shifted, and the boundaries of protecting personal space have been reset, and I get it, I get it. I hear what they’re saying, I understand it. And I’ll be much more mindful ― that’s my responsibility. That’s my responsibility, and I’ll meet it.

This is why we need to be using decentralized platforms. Any centralized platform is going to be extremely vulnerable to censorship. As of now, Element is probably the best decentralized alternative for discord, although, do keep an eye on Session in the long run since it's fully decentralized (right now, Session is too bare bones to be useful, but it's still very early in development).
How can you possibly pretend to care about the problems inherent in laissez-faire capitalism when you don't even understand why a tax on the value of land could be relevant in combating those problems? How can you possibly speak confidently on this issue when you don't even understand that wage hikes are a stupid and oblique fix for the real issue, which is structural?
>I think the 50+ million people getting a raise will overshadow the 1 million people who will lose their jobs for a few months until the other 50 million people who got raises go on a spending spree and corporations start a massive hiring spree.
Are you really convinced that this is what would happen with a hike of the minimum wage? If this is the case, why not to $20? Or $30? If you're so convinced that the effect of everyone having more money would outweigh the effect on employers -- because keep in mind, this is equivalent to a per-employee-hour tax on employers -- why not raise the minimum wage higher? Lord knows that a person surviving on $15/hr could use a few more bucks.
It's because you know, on some level, that there is a point at which the minimum wage is too high. You just don't have the first fucking clue what that point is. You're throwing darts at the wall blindfolded.
EDIT: /u/AdSin15, do you want to try some really basic level redistribution? I will send you The Armchair Economist as an ebook. I'll buy you a copy myself. You just have to promise me that you'll read chapters 1, 5, and 8 with an open mind. It'll take maybe 40 minutes. I don't want you to accept what it says uncritically. I only want you to be open to the possibility that people act differently in response to incentives than you expect.
Bullshit she created OWS.
She further refined her boast to be: "I Created ‘The Intellectual Foundation For What They Do’"

"Libertarian Gary Johnson favors cuts in benefits to bring Social Security's outlays in line with tax revenue. Johnson wants to replace all taxes, including payroll taxes, with a federal consumption tax. He also thinks that the full retirement age -- the age at which you qualify for 100% of your Social Security benefits -- should be increased from its current high of 67 to 70 or 72. Furthermore, he's said in the past that privatization of Social Security benefits should be considered, and that there should "probably" be some means testing to determine how much you receive in Social Security benefits based on your financial well-being."
All of these are non starters with me. He does not understand Federal policy options, and how the Federal government works. The Federal Government is only constrained in spending by inflation, and nothing else. Funding each of these by private "money" is non optimal policy by far to the point of being ridiculous.
>"The Democrats who have moved to the left are in tune with the Democratic Party,” the longtime Republican pollster told Howard Kurtz on Fox News. “They’re just not in tune with mainstream America.”
So close yet no potato. The Republicans and the corporate Dems use the same talking points to oppose Bernie (almost as if they were not, in fact, two separate parties at all), but the fact is that everything Bernie stands for is supported by a majority, and in some cases, supermajority,of Americans. Unless by "mainstream" they mean "the richest 10%".
> think everything and anything can be run just like Wal-Mart.
I am sure they will accept medicare and medicaid vouchers ahem I mean direct contributions.
Russia did have a rather extensive doping regime that included secret doors to swap clean pee for dirty pee and specialized machines to tamper with the tamper-proof seals. It's not like this is something created out of thin air to slander the Russians, it is settled history.
And have you seen the stats for TOP at Alexa?
At the end of November those same numbers were 1,940/396
The trolls are going to leave pretty soon, plus all these people who want to retreat into their bubles aren't going to want to go over to TOP anymore because it's basically Trump On Parade.
> Our ability to horde[sic] money shouldn’t be worth more than easing the suffering of another.
This is a straightforward moral proposition, and one that the right absolutely disagrees on. Their liberty to watch you die is more important to them than your right to live. With an ideological difference that stark, that values the liberty of harming people through inaction, it should come as no surprise they view property as more important than human lives.
I have to use FB for uni, but that doesn't mean I let them get much of my data. I use uBlock Origin with a global blocking rule that blocks everything from facebook.com on all pages, then a rule that tells it to ignore that rule if I'm on FB. No more trackers that follow me around.
>HTTPS Everywhere is produced as a collaboration between The Tor Project and the Electronic Frontier Foundation. Many sites on the web offer some limited support for encryption over HTTPS, but make it difficult to use. For instance, they may default to unencrypted HTTP, or fill encrypted pages with links that go back to the unencrypted site. The HTTPS Everywhere extension fixes these problems by using clever technology to rewrite requests to these sites to HTTPS. Information about how to access the project's Git repository and get involved in development is here.
It's not foolproof and it can be annoying when it blocks you from some websites, but if you use it while making important transactions on your computer it can give you some safety.
Ben Swann, whose segment "Reality Check" (on Atlanta's local CBS station) was cancelled after he did a segment on it and it went viral with over a million views. His website, TruthInMedia, went black shortly after. He's blacked out on social media too.
Funny you should mention it, because I managed to track it down again. I was annoyed, because I spent hours cutting and pasting it when I originally ran across it (maybe 12 pgs then), and can't find the dang document now that it's gone.

Somebody made a video about it on a blocked domain that rhymes with fit-boot. If you want that, I probably can dig that out too.
Here is the rundown on what is going on with Hurricane Mathew. The Island has had massive amounts of rain and 140 mil/hr wind. I just woke up and decided to check with Weather Underground for info. I live in Florida and we are watching closely.
From Accuweather:
> The powerful tremor struck off Ndoi Island, Fiji. However there is no tsunami threat from the earthquake because it was too deep.
> The Pacific Tsunami Warning Center said some small, non-hazardous tsunami waves had been observed.
In other news, police in Washington DC are investigating what appears to be the suicide of the Democratic party's mascot. Anonymous witnesses say there was a note under it's front left hoof saying "I didn't sign up for this shit."
More news as it comes in...
> Russians hacked the DNC servers and phished stupid Podesta's email. I'll take that as fact.
Unfortunately, I'm a Russo-skeptic. What proof do they have? That the so-called hacking tools were outdated php malware, available to everyone? https://www.wordfence.com/blog/2016/12/russia-malware-ip-hack/ It's pretty easy to get a botnet as an American to use IPs in Russia and China. But that's all beside the point, that Clinton should have been using actual security professionals to manage her accounts. And like you said, we do the same thing to other countries. Time to move on.
> McCain thinks he can push Trump around. He's in for a rude awakening. McCain wants to set foreign policy. He can't.
Fascinating take.
The cable company's default modem they send every one has built in 802.11 2.4Ghz spectrum routers that has completely blanketed my neighborhood. "free internet for the random FBI surveillance van that happens to be driving by or subscribers to the same service"
Then the power company had strange men in unmarked windowless white vans from out of state just trespass on to everyone's property and forcefully install wireless smart meters on everyone's home.
Ever since this the 2.4Ghz spectrum has been completely saturated and almost unusable in the same room as my high power wireless modem. It is like I'm living in a crowded apartment complex.
There is also a mystery 802.11 2.4Ghz channel that follows the channel I put my router on that is almost the same power as seen from a wireless scanning app.
This was no issue up to a couple years ago.
The 5Ghz spectrum is a bit more clean, but I have ahem *legacy devices that don't have the 5Ghz capacity that we still use.
EDIT:
Added a cap of the Wifi scan. Cut out info for privacy.
App called WiFi Analyzer. Pretty neat.
You can find open channels and then tell your router to explicitly broadcast on the open channel to minimize interference.

Sometimes you need to reach outside the box and go through whatever is out there and ask yourself, "does this seem interesting?", "can I do this?", or "this isn't what I'm looking for, but I can do this and it is something"
That's household income which isn't the best stand-in for class. If two people each make 40K a year they are working class, but if they move in together they suddenly aren't anymore?
Trump won among people without a college degree, Clinton won among people with one. Who do you think will make more money over their lifetime people that have a degree or those who don't?
https://edition.cnn.com/election/2016/results/exit-polls
In white neighborhoods there also was a heavy shifts in those with a low median household income towards trump, the same in those with low college-graduation rates, whereas in those with high income or high college graduation rates saw a heavy shift towards Clinton.

I didn't say "Like" I said " Charisma"
Definition of charisma 1 : a personal magic of leadership arousing special popular loyalty or enthusiasm for a public figure (as a political leader) His success was largely due to his charisma 2 : a special magnetic charm or appeal the charisma of a popular actor
Another site I look at is Alexa. I see that as of right now TOP's global rank has fallen to 1,995 and US rank has fallen to 499.
And look at that one-year chart on the left hand side. It's brutal. LOL.
Hey! The event that I was thinking about was the at the StubHub Center on May 18.

But of course, I also had in my mind the Sacramento rally held on May 10, five days after HRC's debacle of a Cinco de Mayo rally. I was there and my son's friend took this photo from the stage.

BTW, the howling at the moon appears to have commenced, if anyone didn't know it. Markos tried to stir shit up by writing this today:

>I’ll call it now—Bernie won’t get more than 12% once the field shapes up. Likely single digits. Too many good progressives will run. Too few Bernie dead-enders left.
I left him a response:
>kos, in April 2016 I told you that Trump vs Hillary would result in President Trump: https://tinyurl.com/y7hz665w . I even showed you data.
>You were wrong then, and you are wrong now.
>Also, please define 'good progressives': are they for #MedicareForAll , yes or no?
No response, not surprised.
Once again, Babylon Bee forgets to do satire and actually reports reality :/
Well, there was an incident I guess.
This may be satire, but it's not far off: An 11-year old was able to hack election results in 10 minutes.
Also, those voting machines are so insecure, a poll worker hacked a voting machine just to play minesweeper.
> If I could have moved Bernie over to the left side of the road without starting all over, I would have done it.
Suggestion (if your program can handle it): Layers. Lots and lots of layers. All independently movable. Don't flatten the layers until the last step, and save a copy with the layers still separate, just in case.
Second suggestion: GIMP is free, but a pain to work with.
Given $Hill is just a neocon republican in a pantsuit, it's not surprising she's paraphrasing Bush-43
While many alternatives have already been mentioned, one that deserves attention is ZeroNet, which is essentially BitTorrent applied to web services.

also, Jitsi > Jitsi is a set of open-source projects that allows you to easily build and deploy secure videoconferencing solutions. At the heart of Jitsi are Jitsi Videobridge and Jitsi Meet, which let you have conferences on the internet, while other projects in the community enable other features such as audio, dial-in, recording, and simulcasting. > Jitsi started life as a way to talk to people over the internet using audio and video. Over the course of a decade, though, it’s become so much more.
I don't think it inoculates him, though the party and MSM Establishment is dancing hard to do that.
But I also think we run a risk in focusing on his inappropriate touchy-feelies to the exclusion of the vulnerabilities in his record. We need to keep critiquing his problematic votes that most people don't know about. We also should inform people about his son's largely unknown overseas business ventures.

The Amazon link has the part of the book with songwriting credits at the end -- read at your own risk.
This is the problem, right here. Below is a link to a book I bought from Amazon. Someone gave it a 1-star review citing not receiving the book as the reason for the 1-star. I posted a 5-star and indicated in the message that it was to offset the unfair 1-star. They deleted my post, not his.

Suspicious that Hover Zoom might be doing the same thing again, Jadali set out to more rigorously test the extension.
He set up a fresh installation of Windows and Chrome, then used the Burp Suite security tool and the FoxyProxy Chrome extension to observe how Hover Zoom behaved. This time, though, he found no initial sign of data collection, so he remained patient. Then, he said, after more than three weeks of lying dormant, the extension uploaded its first batch of visited URLs. Within a couple of hours, he said, the visited links, which referenced domains controlled by Jadali, were published on Nacho Analytics. Soon after, each URL was visited by a third party that often went on to download the page contents.
Me: Isn't that what trojans do, lie dormant and then activate and do their malicious thing?
" “The only way to prevent war is to know how to wage it and win it better than your enemy.” That’s from Dallas Galvin’s introduction to the Barnes & Noble edition of The Art of War, and it’s ridiculous. Imagine someone saying with a straight face:
The only way to prevent dueling is to know how to duel better than your enemy.
The only way to prevent slavery is to know how to enslave better than your enemy.
The only way to prevent blood feuds is to know how to feud better than your enemy.
Contrast this nonsense with an empirical observation:
The more you learn and prepare for war, the more wars you fight.
Sun Tzu says to avoid prolonged warfare, and be sure to loot and pillage to support your army. But a global empire must be in permanent war, and you could loot and pillage the poor countries of a dozen earths and never fund Lockheed Martin."
>Peace activism requires prolonged struggle and the opposite of looting and pillaging.
>A peace movement, to succeed, needs human and financial resources, it needs truth and credibility, it needs masses of people, it needs the ability to communicate a worldview that rejects the maintenance of enemies, it needs relentlessness and endurance. It needs to take on winnable struggles against specific policies while advancing the broader goal of a world beyond war. It does not need to think of peacemaking as warmaking. It does not need to destroy, intimidate, or trick the major enemy that is popular acceptance of war. It needs to eliminate enemies by making them allies. It needs to maneuver facilitators of war against it without thinking of them as people who should be attacked with fire.
No doubt you're right, and I don't trust the motives of the media or either major party, but what ever happened to the expression "follow the money?" I guess it fell down the same fucking hole as the human ability to engage critical thinking skills. Questions like these simply are no longer relevant, so they don't get asked.
Everything in the public political discourse these days boils down to The Art of War, and none of it is derived from a desire to improve the lives of real people, to improve their lot, to ease their suffering. I'm not a member of Bernie Sanders' cult of personality (although I am fond of the person), so I won't hesitate to criticize him when he's wrong, but I'm frustrated with bullshit like this (including the BS you mention) that takes everyone's eyes off the prize -- and does so by design.
I get reports!
> user reports:
> 1: mongol horde? racist scumbag
Setting aside that Mongols were 13th century Asian tribalists under Ghengis Khan - I like my riff on the modern definition, from programmer slang:
> Assigning a large number of inexperienced programmers to a job which would better performed by a few skilled ones. The term was first used by Dr. Fred Brooks in his book "The Mythical Man-Month."
> According to Dr. Brooks, he had in mind the vision of the Mongol Hordes sweeping across Asia and Europe when he created the term.
It's not as funny when you have to explain the joke to some SJW.
Strafor employee. I was just randomly poking around Wikileaks after I read somewhere about there being a shipment of frozen Penguin pineal glands from Argentina so I did a search for pineal and this was part of the Stafor leaks.
You can see the cable about the shipment of frozen penguin glands.
I wondered about penguin pineals so I found this paper, The morphology of the pineal gland of the Magellanic penguin
The penguin cable is from 1973 and unrelated to the Strafor employee's emails. I just came across it after searching "pineal."
LOL
