I find you attractive. I think the kissless, hugless and so on virgin isn't because of your looks.
Your face shape is fantastic.
I think you would look better if you didn't have the hint of a glare above your eyes. Relax the forehead.
In addition, you should work on getting your lips moisturized as they look horribly chapped in these photos. They don't look inviting to kiss. To moisturize them, I recommend you drink at least 64 oz of water daily, stay away from caffeine, and use something like Eos Lip Balm. Do NOT use Chapstick as it has an addictive ingredient that will make you lick more. (Stay away from anything that has menthol, camphor, or phenol.)
I honestly think its not your look, but your personality or possibly how you approach people.
reddit is predominantly males. Males generally prefer looking at women.
What are you trying to say through your list of top links for the week? How women are put on a pedestal? How men's rights are being trampled by this grievous injustice? What?
Dude I am going to agree with quite a few people here: You need to lose some weight bro. The problem is mostly where you carry it. You carry a lot of it in your neck and that is probably the thing that's working against you the most. I highly recommend these resource tools when you're trying to work out healthier eating habits: r/loseit and myfitnesspal. I lost 10 lbs over the course of about a month. I got lazy and while I'm hanging in there at 10 lbs lost, I've learned a lot about portions and getting healthy. Really. Give it two weeks and see how you feel. The community is great.
-Your acne. I think if you took better care of your skin you would look much better. Also stuff like soda and chocolate can make your skin more oily than it would otherwise be. Stick to soda (EDIT: WATER), limit your sweets, and do 30 mins of an activity that accelerates your heart rate every other day. Not only will you lose a bit of weight, but your skin will probably clear up significantly as well.
On the plus side, you have very nice eyes and a kind, sweet smile. Do I think you are a major hawt dude right now? Sorry man, but not so much. Do I think you look like a guy who could be really super hot? I definitely do. Hang in there and good luck in all the things. :)
"would give their eye teeth" is an idiom, referring to:
The thing about Fetal Alcohol Syndrome, if the mother doesn't drink heavily on like day 20 (can't remember exactly what day it is), the effects will not show up in the face. However, it doesn't mean the child wasn't effected by alcohol. They can have Fetal Alcohol Effect (FAE).
You have a super strong philtrum (groove between nose and upper lip). FAS children have more of a smooth one.
You do not have a low nasal bridge nor a short nose. You don't have flattened cheekbones. Do you have a small head circumference? It doesn't look so in the pictures.
I am not an expert, however if you have any issues, maybe it is FAE. Children with FAE often look normal and have normal IQ's but have very poor behavior, subtle and multiple learning disabilities, weaknesses in attention, memory, judgment, and difficulties primarily in verbal reasoning/auditory processing. Does that sound like you?
There are doctors that can look at your face/picture and determine if you have FAS. Here is the link for the MayoClinic.
I think you have a lot of potential but you do need to lose some weight. People are quick to tell you to exercise but fixing your diet is going to do a lot more for you than exercising. (Ideally you should do both though.) I know of what I speak. I've lost 50 lbs in about a year and I'm down about 100 from 2007. (If you doubt me I can post pics lol) You should try using Myfitnesspal's website and/or their smartphone app, by the same name, to keep track of your caloric intake. If you're honest with yourself, you will lose weight this way. Feel free to ask me if you have any questions. I'd be happy to help. =D
Bad picture. Hard to tell. Looks cute from what i can tell. You look a bit like Jeanne Tripplehorn.
You aren’t. Hit the gym bro, look into acne treatment and make sure you actively try to talk to women.
P.S. comedy is your best tool when trying to woo. Good luck.

Youre beautiful and your weight is fine, especially if you're happy.
I agree that the face jewelry is a bit much, but I think getting dainty jewelry will really benefit your look while still being able to pull off piercings, as you obviously like them! Try this for your septum, a stud for your nose, a 6 or 7 mm long eyebrow ring so that it fits closer to your skin, and a stud for your lip.
Normally it's to the left. Give me a second to take a shitty picture of what it usually looks like.
Alright. Ignore everything but the hair, including the heinous face/pajama shirt/odd angle.
Quora is hardly a reputable source, so let's click the second link, Yahoo... Hmmm, citations lead to BGR, an Apple-biased website. Oh wait, what's this? BGR is just talking about converting from iOS to Android. Let's click this link anyways. Google+? Hrm. Ah, I see.
> Like the people who moved from PCs to Macs and never switched back
Yes, this means everyone at Google switched to Macs huh? No, that's not how this works.
Secondly, I use Linux for programming, but thanks for the wild assumptions there. I can redefine my shortcuts however, the hell I want. Multiple desktops? Yeah, we've had them as long as I can remember.
Coda for Windows? Why not Sublime?
You are a good looking dude! I like the beard. My only suggestion is to hit up a local salon that does eyebrow shaping and has a good reputation. You just need a little clean up in the brows and once you get it done you can just keep tweezing the regrowth. It's not that bad, you get used to it.
Please don't take this badly, you're not unattractive but I think you're doing some things that are unflattering.
Maybe try some of these techniques http://www.ehow.com/how_4498768_apply-makeup-square-face.html and you may try a different hairstyle that pulls down over your forehead.
Your body is nice but your face looks like you used to be a lot bigger. You've got loads of potential
lmao i've never heard that one before. people do say i look a lot like Danny Pudi though.
I agree, you have plenty of potential behind the weight. (Though getting a gauge on how someone will look after losing weight isn't exactly simple) Don't listen about the carbs though... The only "diet" you need to worry about is counting and tracking caloric intake vs calories burned. I've lost about 50 pounds in less than a year (and maintained that loss for a few months so far) by doing this. Try myfitnesspal. If any of those gimmick diets ever work, it's because the person accidentally lowered their caloric intake with it. There are subtleties involving metabolism (decreased calories burned as a result of the body's starvation response from eating too little and the increased calories burned by stronger muscles even while at rest.) that you should research yourself, but generally,
weight loss = calories consumed - calories burned.
(Of course negatives represent weight loss.)
I hate your face too. But only because it's on your head and not mine. Damn, that's a cute face! It definitely shows older than 16. It looks more like around 20, but on a body of a 16 year old. Is that weird? That's weird. well - I wouldn't say weird. More like unusual. It's like your face wanted to grow up faster and your body was like:"Woah woah, face! Take it easy! Everything at it's own time, dude!" But it definitely is beautiful.
Acne? Where is the acne? I don't see no acne. Where do you see acne? Just to define acne: This is what I understand as acne and what I had when I was a pubertalized by my hormones.
Honey, you don't need no make up. Sure it looks nice, but you definitely don't need it.
Oh an that nose on the picture with the aunt-makeup, that needs to be posted to /r/aww, it's so cute!
Don't you worry. Grow up and have them boys run circles around you :-)
Non-Face-Addendum: Lol, i've nearly forgotten about tinypic. Man, that's got a lot of ads on it.
Juuust right! You hit the sweet spot. Your tummy is not chubby.
Please do not use photoshopped pictures of models in magazines and media as a reference to measure yourself. They set unreachable goals (or do you know who can photoshop you in real life?) so you are unhappy and go buy their products (cosmetic, surgery, whatever) to make yourself feel better. https://duckduckgo.com/?q=power+of+photoshop+!video
So yes, I would be very much attracted to your body.
If you're trying to lose weight, then http://www.myfitnesspal.com/ might help you. I was carrying some extra weight and it's helped me lose about 14 pounds. Basically it's a free website you can sign up with and track your calories. My problem was that I wasn't eating enough calories and my body was in starvation mode, holding onto all of the fat from what I ate. Anyways, you should check it out. :)
Didn't notice one thing you said, you're over thinking and looking for flaws to much. You're fine man, one thing I always recommend is getting your back and sides cut shorted than your top, search Daniel Sturridge on Google and copy his hair - https://gyazo.com/be744940b457fb6fb93b0dc74f3b0445
Not traditionally attractive but I wouldn't call you ugly. Turn a few pounds of fat into some muscle and you'll be lookin' good.
Man forget about that bitch, you look good to me. You look like a freaking model in the 2nd and 3rd pic. You look skinny now, but you can fix that easily. Girls are fucking crazy and stupid a lot of the time. Don't let it bother you too much. You have to work on yourself, because you have crazy potential. Someone recommended the book Models by Mark Manson to me, you should get it, it will help you figure it all out
your new haircut definitely looks better, the top hair up suits you. the thing i'd change would be: to also grow out some parts of the side, the way they currently buzzcutted you, gives you a weird head shape. here is what would look better imo: http://tinypic.com/r/2rwvk1k/8 (quick paint skills)
apart from that you still have a bit of babyfat in your face but you are only 18, so that will still change. you aren't ugly.
I think this reddit should called something more like... "Would you F*** this?"
I mean-- ugly... pretty... C'mon. The truth is what we really want to know is "looking purely at my picture alone, would you want mate with THIS". Am I right? Then you'd have the more honest opinions..
None of this "Oh, you have kind eyes" crap. This is one thing I just don't get about AMIUGLY. I never see ANYONE say, "YES. You ARE UGLY". People are just plain too nice. What's the point, really?
Sorry for the rant!!! The first time I ever saw AMIUGLY I thought it was really cute-- then I saw too many and just got pissed.
It doesn't matter if you do the shaved head or not.
Whatever you do, do it proudly. Hold your head high, put smile in your face and you will be attractive.
Negative example: Lets say, you have the most beautiful long wavy hair like Fabio. If you feel like shit and hold your head low and shoulders down and frown in the face, the hair also would look like shit.
It's all in the presentation. Makes sense?
You have a nice face, but your skin looks rough :(
I have the same skin type as you - oily and acne prone with a rough texture. I'm a lot older than you, though, so I've figured some things out. (I still struggle with my skin, but it's way better now because of this regimen.)
Things that help:
1. glycolic acid - do a 30% peel once a week. It is an exfoliant (gets rid of dead skin, excess keratin and sebum/oil buildup) I use this type: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B006ZBKH2Y/ Be careful with it and read the directions. I notice a huge difference in my skin when using this regularly.
2. tea tree oil - put a drop in your face soap when you wash morning and night (only a drop - be careful). Leave it on for a minute or so before rinsing. This was a game changer for me. Really noticed a change after discovering tea tree oil. I use it every day now.
3. Take a multivitamin, 15mg zinc, 50mg vitamin B6 - these supplements help along with the above regimen
4. To moisturize - SO MANY MOISTURIZERS on the market cause breakouts! Just make your own. Use 100% Aloe Vera + a drop or two of Hemp Seed oil or Grapeseed oil. These are non-comedogenic oils that are great for acne. Blend the Aloe + drop of grapeseed oil in your hand and massage it into your skin.
A few other things that helped a bit - using a Clarisonic brush daily (exfoliating is your friend), using a seperate towel for my face after showering (not body towel), avoid all products with glycerin (moisturizers, primer, foundation, etc.)
Hope this helps. I struggled SO MUCH with my skin, especially 16-24 yrs old. It really affected my self-esteem and I don't want ANYONE ELSE to go through that!
I don't think it's as bad as you suggest. For instance the Mayo Clinic has a warning about losing weight TOO fast which does back up your argument to some extent. But Mayo's guideline for a sustainable and safe long-term weight loss rate is 2lb per week. That would be 104lb per year.
Article and advisory: https://www.mayoclinic.org/healthy-lifestyle/weight-loss/expert-answers/fast-weight-loss/faq-20058289
The OP has a goal of 4 years to lose 100lbs which is well below the optimium rate. By about 75%. She needs to step that shit up.
>I also would like to add one thing: I am not asking for opinions on my weight. Keep in mind people, I just went through a major surgery on my spine. I was bedridden. I am aware that I have gained weight. I am working on it, though right now rehabilitation is more of a priority.
I can't imagine what it was like to go through a major surgery on your spine, but I've recently undergone a surgery that had me hospitalized for about a week and left with movement restrictions for a decent time afterwards.
This website was by far the most helpful thing I could have done to keep my weight under control: myfitnesspal.com this is an extremely popular site that helps you keep track of calories eaten (and exercise) for people that frequent /r/loseit because it is completely free to sign up, and it can help you track what you are eating to lose weight with very little time and effort on your part. seriously check it out, I've lost 35 lbs and now have my settings on the site set to maintain my weight since I've achieved my goal weight.
> Please be honest. I can take brutal honesty.
Ask, and ye shall receive...
There are millions of boob-lovin' guys around the globe who would beat down a path to your door if you gave them half a chance.
You look extremely gorgeous.
I personally like this one:
http://tinypic.com/view.php?pic=zjjwa0&s=8#.U5eQkpRdVNM
> I refuse to leave my house.
Don't do dat!! Beauty in all its forms should be shown the world over and appreciated. Would you put a burka on the Venus de Milo and then stuff it in the basement? No! And likewise you should be outdoors, and living your life!
Honestly, I'm too lazy to go through and link and format a whole bunch of studies on here. Instead, a quick Google scholar search will get you started in the right direction. You'll find, however, that it's mostly about how overweight people underestimate their energy intake. It's been found countless times that underestimation of energy intake is positively correlated with BMI. It is more difficult to find studies of skinny, healthy people and self-reported energy intake inaccuracies because it's simply not a widespread (health) issue in today's society.
Also, the feeling of hunger (appetite) is intimately related to an individual's metabolism. Obviously, you're going to feel hungry if your body needs to eat more. Essentially, if someone is not hungry (as you said that skinny guys just don't feel hungry), then they are satiated -- their metabolic requirements have been met! That points to the conclusion that it is NOT a metabolic issue. The issue is that they don't eat a lot. Because they're not hungry. They need to eat more, past the point of feeling full. It is not some rare metabolism issue.
In the words of Lyle Mcdonald (a very highly respected individual in exercise, dieting, and nutrition), in an article talking about this very topic (probably a more relevant link than the one above):
Focal length plays a role. Your reflection and pictures others take of you are probably from fairly far away compared to the selfies you're taking, so it's not surprising they tell a different tale.
I use Maybelline https://www.amazon.com/dp/B008C131AK
You'll probably want to go with a lighter shade. One of those bottles should last like 2-3 weeks if you use it daily. You only want to use a tiny amount and just rub it on thoroughly. Although maybe use liberally while starting. Go all way from hairline to jawline or neck or wherever problem areas are. That brand spreads super well only like a few drops can get most of your face.
Can also try other brands if doesn't match your skin color well enough. I use that one for spf but plenty of other food cheap ones. Can try out some other brands too. Nothing too expensive, plenty of the <$12 are great.
Trust me it'll change your life. Enjoy!
I feel that - confidence is huge when trying to make connections with people. You do what you gotta do to build that confidence, but also know that you don’t have to wait until you’ve hit your goal weight to start working on confidence! I personally found this workbook to be really helpful in combatting my own negative self-talk, if you’re at all the kind of person who enjoys workbooks. :)
Also, congratulations on the company you’re hopefully starting! This is amazing!! Way to go. I know we don’t know each other but I am proud of you and I am sending positive vibes to you and your company (and also to your one kidney). 😊
This should help you with your back posture. Look up YouTube videos to help you how to use it.

My dark circles have improved, go on amazon and type in eye gel. I tried it and it works

Amazon is probably your best bet right now, nearning Black Friday and stuff. Here's one grooming kit for 18$.
And like I said you're young so the stache is not a huge issue, in fact most guys start getting that your age. But it is off-putting to girls looking at your mouth. Shaving it will take less than a minute, so keeping it tells people you don't care to make a tiny bit of effort.
Acne is your only physical problem, and it's definitely not a big enough problem to be the only and sole cause for you having issues with ladies. Maybe you have to work on your seduction techniques? Have you ever been to /r/seduction or heard of Models by Mark Manson? You have a godly physique, you shouldn't have any problems.
I feel misled. I expected you to be entertainingly hideous, but now I see that you're about average, just like the rest of us...
Listen, we can't all look like the lithe, beautiful, confident butterflies who post to /gonewild. Those of us who haven't been particularly blessed by the good looks fairy need to compensate a little in other areas. You're clearly a witty, clever and well-informed person - that's half the battle won right there. Ignore everyone who suggests nose jobs or braces - although (again, like the rest of us) you can probably afford to work out more and lose some weight. The main thing is to work on social confidence and demeanor. It's easy to get into a cycle of self-criticism that becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy. The social mechanics of courtship are really quite simple - if you stop emitting signals that say that you're open to "romance" (a stupid word, but you get the idea), you will put anyone who might be interested in you off. Lack of attention feeds back into self-criticism, which feeds back into social withdrawal, and so it goes. It sounds like you've been trapped in a cycle like this for a long time.
The good news is that you can break out of it. It is possible to change your attitude to social situations and interactions with the sex you're attracted to through an act of will. Lots of nerdy guys have done it. You can too. Work on your social demeanor. Get on some dating sites, go on dates, and learn to flirt.
Also, read "Learned Optimism" by Martin Seligman for a good science-backed take on how to modify your fundamental attitude to this type of thing.
You totally screwed up the pics haha, jut post them sans anything, like this:
http://tinypic.com/view.php?pic=qs2r2a&s=8#.VI70hHvSnOg
http://tinypic.com/view.php?pic=1zl6mc4&s=8#.VI70gHvSnOg
You're not ugly I think you're a decent looking bloke. You might look better without gelling up your hair, but if you like it then fuck me I guess.
You can use eyebrow powder to thicken them up so they don't look drawn on. It's hint number 6 and has more info at the website.
First of all kudos that you have the balls to post here.
Are you ugly? I say no! You just look like straight out of bed. As already mentioned, the hair has probably the most potential for changes. I'm really curious how this haircut here would fit you [1].
Another point is your ptosis-eye and it's eyebrow. It appears that the eyebrow has a different shape than the left one. That's particularly visible when you wear glasses, making your face appear asymmetrical. The ptosis-eye also makes you look really sleepy.
With the haircut mentioned above you could cover up the ptosis side a bit, reducing asymmetry and sleepiness.
Other tips:
Some things I already like:
IMO David DeAngelo, one of the most well known pick-up artists has a nose similar to yours. It hasn't stopped him from likely attracting hundreds of women.
I do have a pic with a more appropriate hairstyle and when the nose was in much better shape . I think it's 12 years old
Ethically I'd say I'm okey on this area considering the "wider nose" effect have been artificially induced by boxing . It's justified to revert the changes .
Never thought the hairstyle aged me but you have a point with receding hair line . Previously I had long hair to cover my forehead and out of fear of hairstylists .
I'll post again in 3 months once I get the fillers and the hair will grow
Thank you :)
Don't pick the best looking person in the room. Go for the one who looks the friendliest even if they aren't the most attractive. You just want to start a conversation.
I found this wiki. I think the advice is good.
Right now you should just let them grow a little and then probably get them done professionally at least once so you can just keep shaping them the same way afterwards with tweezers. Don't make them so thin because then they look painted on, and just look bad in general. So right now, no, you shouldn't do anything more to your eyebrows because they are already too thin, maybe use a brow pencil so the hairs that are growing won't look so weird. I prefer not using razors because it's so easy to mess up, but the good thing is that since you are using a razor, then the hairs should grow pretty quickly.
Eyebrows make or break a face, I think they are the most important feature because you have control over them. Honestly, you are very pretty and have beautiful blue eyes, but I have a sort-of-an-obsession with eyebrows and I pay a lot of attention to them. I don't know how thin or thick your eyebrows are naturally, but if they are thicker than in the pictures, you should let them grow a little, if they aren't then just lose a little weight and you should still be quite attractive.
Just to show how important eyebrows are:
http://www.buzzfeed.com/daves4/celebrities-without-eyebrows-cg3
Objectively, I see nothing wrong with your facial structure and the only thing I can point out is that you could lose some weight. Last year, I lost about 50 lbs using Myfitnesspal and it's accompanying smartphone app. If you start measuring (be honest with yourself about measurements) and logging everything you eat and drink, you could probably reach your goal weight in a several months. Also, drink lots of water. The liver's main function is metabolizing fat, but if you don't drink enough water, your kidneys don't do their job (filtering stuff out of the blood) as well as they should, leaving the liver to pick up the slack and, in turn, slack at its own job.
If you lose some weight, I bet you'll be beating guys off with a stick. lol I lost about 50 lbs in less than a year by counting calories. It's the only dieting method that is really backed up with science. (Burn more calories than you eat in a day, and it results in weight loss. There's some variation from your body's metabolic responses, but you should do your research on that yourself. Any other method of weight loss only works if it also happens to lower caloric intake.) I used myfitnesspal, which also has an app on the iTunes app store. (It's probably also on the android market) This alone can take off the weight by itself, but starting to exercise will, of course, help in many ways.
One guy to another, I'd say it's a pretty good start. But as someone who has lost quite a bit of weight myself, I can tell you that just hitting the gym by itself won't get you the results you want. You need to adjust your diet too. If you have a smartphone or iPod touch, I'd recommend downloading the Myfitnesspal app. If not, use their website here. This is for tracking your caloric intake. If you adjust your diet properly you'll be surprised how quickly you'll see a difference. There are a lot of finer points to adjusting your diet that I can fill you in on if you're interested. But checking out that app and trying to use it is your first step if you ask me. Feel free to send me a PM if you want some tips.
For the smiling you just have to learn to smile for a camera. It's not as simple as it sounds. Here are some hints to get a better smiling when someone takes a picture:
Are you Rowan Atkinson's lost son?
I cannot really judge from the pictures because they are horrible. Angles, filters, fuck all that. Just make a straight picture. You know, no filters and shit.
Thank you.
Aight, man. You got it. Here's the link: http://depositfiles.com/files/lzfago1zr
There is no prior preparation required.
The program actually has you start from the bare minimum, which is a barbell with nothing on it (45 lbs).
I was actually pretty well acquainted with the lifts found in the program, and I knew I could squat, bench, row, and deadlift more than just a barbell.
But I started there anyways, since the program recommends it.
Just go to a gym and do your thing.
I've never had anyone come up to me and say, "Yo, get off the squat rack if you are gonna just squat off of a barbell" or had any demeaning looks.
So put those fears away. If a hater does pop up in your journey to getting the body you up, then screw him. Keep on keeping on, 'cause haters are going to hate. No matter what you do.
Seriously, weightlifting has changed my life. No exaggeration. I was heavy and awkward all my life up to 2nd year of college. Now I have more energy, more self-esteem, more confidence, and less fuck to give about all the things that bothered me.
Trust me (and many others who have made the change at /r/fitness and /r/progresspics) on this. You are a handsome dude already. So I have no doubt in my mind that you are gonna be killing it even harder once you start getting into lifting.
I would say oblong
not the best example but google face shapes and find the one you think fits your face the best.
then google "male oblong hairstyles" etc to get a rough idea. can also do the same for glasses
I'm not really good with hairstyles that suit blondes but I think a change wouldn't hurt. Letting your hair grow longer might be an idea, cue this.
Not ugly and only a few steps away from being a knock out hottie:
1) Some smokey looking eye shadow, but don't go overboard, it's all about subtlety with makeup. Also, something on the cheeks that accentuate your cheekbones. Check out Youtube for some great eye shadow tutorials by makeup gurus.
2) You have very light brows, which make it so it's hard to see them. So use a pencil to fill them in a bit. Just remember not to go overboard and end up with that fake drawn eyebrow look, that's frightening looking. If you want to see an example of how important eyebrows are, just take a look at this post of hot celebs with their brows photoshopped off.
3) Next, wear the hair down, but don't curl it like in the second to last photo. Wear it straight. Try some volumizing shampoo or the opposite, flat ironing, see what looks best. I would also experiment with a side part, might work for you.
4) Lipstick. Nothing super loud, again, it's all about subtlety. You might even be able to get away with a tone close to flesh tone with the addition of gloss.
5) Finally, either ditch glasses all together or switch the style up. Girls look so cute in black hipster frames. Otherwise, contacts.
6) All that plus some clothes that accentuate your hip to waist ratio and you'll have guys reacting to you like this ;)
As a straight man, it disturbs me how good I am at this.
Few women can pull off the bangs, yet my hunch is most girls wish they could. No shame in that.
Running's good if you enjoy it (definitely not my thing), but overall diet is the single most important thing and usually the easiest thing to change.
Since it may be a couple months before you get into the gym, look into nutrition. Martin Berkhan knows his stuff. Maybe consider intermittent fasting (16 hours a day of fasting for men, 14 for women).
Get your eight hours of sleep.
There's also Fitocracy, which basically turns working out into a game. Helps keep some people motivated. Quests expose you to different exercises you wouldn't know about otherwise. Let me know if you want an invite to that.
> I'm trying to work up a fitness plan, but I'm clueless as to where to start.
Start walking, 30 minutes a day, every day. If you drink soda/pop, stop & replace it with water (with a lemon or a lime if you want some flavor (and vitamin C) in it).
You've got a good base to work with, imo - pretty face, nice eyes, nice smile. At the same time, you're only 16, so you do have a bit of growing up to do & that will change a few things for you.
Acne - try changing your pillow cover daily (if you don't already) & follow whatever regimen your dermatologist has put you on.
You're not unattractive - the acne is obviously a hurdle (especially in high school), but you've got some natural qualities already working for you that will become more prevalent as the acne clears and you work to get yourself fit.
As wiseawl already mentioned, myfitnesspal can be a great way to track workouts and calories. /r/loseit is also a great community if you're looking for support & encouragement in getting in shape.
Just keep in mind that, with work & help, things will get better.
I recently lost 14 pounds. After I graduated college I put on like 20ish pounds. I tried losing weight by eating less, but then I realized that my body was holding onto its weight because I wasn't getting enough calories during the day. I should be getting 1200 calories per day, and I was only getting like half of that. I started keeping track of my calorie intake using http://www.myfitnesspal.com/ and It's really worked for me! If you try to do this, know that for the first week you'll probably gain a few pounds before you start losing weight. Good luck if you decide to try this!
You don't look like the "average girl", take it and run with it! You're beautiful and in my opinion strike a remarkable resemblance to Shannyn Sossamon.
Seen here - http://ffffound.com/image/2e238086d364a5d320f1d6783fa45d4358dc7cc6
You are not ugly. You are different and unique. Keep rockin' it.
Omg!! Me too! I just started smiling with my teeth showing. I've always been self conscious about it. I used to always just smirk in my pictures too from age 6th grade to now. It feels nice to actually smile for the cameras though! :D Here's a picture: http://tinypic.com/r/10yhor5/5
Beautiful people can be insecure too. Ugly people can be secure too. Has it always been this way? I'd say yeah, our two biggest complaints have always been "too many beautiful people here" and "too many people getting called beautiful that I think are average at best". I think that people read through the subreddit and go "I don't consider this person ugly so I don't see how they could so this subreddit is bullshit" and "I don't consider this person beautiful and I don't see how this other commenter could so this subreddit is bullshit."
I think it comes a lot from just a failure to realize that different contexts, geographical or social or whatever, produce different ideas of what's "ugly", and while they might not all be equally valid that's where different people are going to be coming from when they post their threads/opinions. For example, I grew up in a rural area, I'm pretty sure I didn't see anyone who had had plastic surgery except on TV and in magazines. I imagine that if I walk down a street in LA, I am going to see some people who have had plastic surgery, and I might not realize it, but they're gonna be part of how I calculate my idea of what's "average".
Now, maybe it isn't as simple as all that, and probably attractive people are more likely to post because they know harsh criticism is less likely, and because being attractive their appearance is more important to them. Who knows. Does this dissuade less attractive people from posting? I don't know either.
The results of the motivation question on the Vice survey are relevant. Most people say they genuinely don't know how attractive they are, are curious, want feedback, want honesty. Some admit to wanting attention, more to wanting a confidence boost.
Maybe consider reading Mark Manson's book Models: Attract Women Though Honesty.
The end of the book about sex is a little outdated, so you should take that bit with a grain of salt if you decide to buy it.
Attractive! 7/10
In your verification photo, your skin looks a little flakey. You might want to make sure you get enough water daily and buy some moisturizer.
I recommend clean shaven.
I wonder if you lack for confidence? If you are straight (and I don't want to assume), you might want to pick up the Mark Manson book - Models: Attract Women Through Honesty
The dermatologists used to give me Clindamycin/Benzoyl Peroxide Gel, 1%/5% for my cystic acne. It worked great, but was costing over $450 for a prescription twice a year. I found out that it was really just a combination of Benzoyl Peroxide and a topical antibiotic. I tried just Benzoyl Peroxide and it worked just as well. The AcneFree Terminator 10 Acne Spot Treatment is Benzoyl Peroxide and costs $4.72 on Amazon.
But the root cause of my cystic acne is food allergies. Strong coffees (i.e. Starbucks), Pepsi, and some chocolates (i.e Hershey) will cause a cystic acne bump within 24 hours. I am super careful now and when I just must have a Starbucks, I watch for the zit that I know is coming and immediately hit it with the AcneFree Terminator (Benzoyl Peroxide). This will not allow the zit to develop. It doesn't even get a white head.
I swear this stuff is miraculous. And it is soooo cheap!
Yeah I would stay away from gels, they make your hair look too wet and greasy. I don't think many adults use gels, they're mostly used by younger guys (like under 16)
Wax's are best...the one I'm using is this - https://www.amazon.co.uk/DaDude-DaWax-Very-Strong-Styling/dp/B0124HJRBE/ref=sr_1_1_a_it?ie=UTF8&qid=1516548021&sr=8-1&keywords=da+dude
It's expensive, and I put put off buying it initially because of that very reason. But it genuinely does last ages as you only need a little bit.
Not sure where you're from...but if you just go to Amazon and type in mens wax, you can see which ones are the best reviewed and you can get a cheaper one.
Have you tried weight gainers? When ever i'm bulking and need to put on weight quickly I use stuff like https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00OV0VYHI/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Works great for me and its easy to get down just an idea though good luck.
You were not bullied for your looks, you were bullied for your confidence. The first photo looks kind of "I work in an apple store and know more than you", but hey, rest are fine. I'd rate you a 7.
Suggestions? Read Models by Mark Manson. We're all gonna make it brah.
And... only girl? So what? She's attractive.
Don't trust your perception. When I look in the mirror I see anger and piercing glare. But I have the context of my history distorting it. People just see kindness and compassion, and my eyelashes apparently.

/r/bodyweightfitness has this app now, it's great for getting a routine in. I'm 5' 11" and I started at a lanky 104 ibs. I look so much fucking better at 128 but I have a ways to go to imo.
This book, The Fine Art of Small Talk has helped me a lot with initiating and keeping conversations alive.
You start by reading this book. It teaches you how to start interacting with woman in a confident way, little by little.
Your hair is totally fried, which makes it look thinner than it probably is. There's no way to really fix this without getting a good trim to get off all the damage or use something like Redkin's All Soft conditioner and leaving in some in your hair. I currently have fried hair also, so I know your pain.
I understand you want to express your personality through hair color, etc. but it definitely isn't doing you any favors. I have no idea what your natural color is, but you would look good in a medium blonde color. If you want funky colors, go with a few strategic streaks or pinch braid in some extensions. It's totally easy to do.
As far as makeup, I know you've never used it, but it's super easy to get help with that. If you can afford to shell out some money, go to your local department store and hit up a MAC counter if they have one. Tell the makeup artists there you'd like some help with some understated, easy to do makeup.
If you don't want to spend the cash, go on YouTube! There's tons and tons of awesome girls out there that have How To videos on any kind of makeup you can think of. It just takes a little practice. You can easily start off with some drugstore stuff. Hit up the boards and reviews at http://www.makeupalley.com to make sure you are investing in worthwhile products. There's also a lot of advice available there.
Over you are NOT ugly at all. You just need to try a teeny bit harder.
From me. (I guess this is a thing now?)
You kinda look like a budget-version Harry Styles. While I don't personally consider him to be super-attractive I know A LOT of girls/woman do so you should be alright.
Because you asked so nicely, here's a roast for you too: <strong>https://tinyurl.com/txrt6c7</strong>
None of your acne is so bad, but it's something to be mindful of.
What face cleanser?
The second comment is a list of frequent zit-causers in skin and hair products you might use/buy in a future.
http://www.acne.org/messageboard/topic/194072-the-non-comedogenic-quest/
I'm linking it just as a precaution...there's a lot of comedogenic crap sold in skincare products, particularly anti-acne ones, skin creams...I even find glycolic and lactic acid (used as exfoliants in face washes and serums) break me out. Regular face cleanser is fine but for zits I use Clean and Clean oily skin (pink) astringent - it has salicylic acid. If have combo skin or skin that dries out easily, I would only use it on areas you feel are breakout prone (so t-zone, maybe chin, nose).
There's also the CVS knockoff of either Neutrogena's 5% or Clean and Clear's 10% benzoyl peroxide. I put a tiny amount on zits (seriously - not even pea-sized).
My skin is pretty oily, and I'm dealing with hormonal acne. So you can take this as you will based on your own skin.
Finally, if you need an unscented detergent recommendation, try Arm and Hammer for Sensitive Skin.
All that said, you're still attractive, and your acne isn't bad at all. If there's a hair product you're using that might be causing that....that list of comedogenic ingredients and/or stuff you can do once something you absolutely need to use starts breaking you out can come in handy.
The internet can't take it anymore
I think you're very good looking. Not unlike Jason Segel from How I Met Your Mother. My suggestion for getting girls is to fake being confident. Confidence is key; lack of it is a turn off.
You mentioned that you are skinny, do you eat a healthy diet? Because if your eating habits are poor, it will affect your hair as well as the rest of your body. Read http://www.ehow.com/how_2311609_eat-help-hair-growth.html
Tip for hair: either trim it down, or if you don't like that look, get a dab of gel, and gel it up a little bit for texture.. because my bro right now you look like a.. mountain goat with that hair bro
Try this one. It's stocked at every walmart too: https://www.amazon.com/Garnier-Fructis-Style-Clean-Styling/dp/B0050N4DLE
use this once a week on your face for a deep pore cleansing. I would use an oil cleanser, your regular cleanser, and then your regular moisturizer.
There is literally nothing wrong with that at all, you can be both beauty and brains! Experiment with different hairstyles like two French braids or half up half down like Ariana grande (one of my favorite styles) or a bun. As for makeup, you have dark circles and discoloration like me! My skin is pretty good so I wear light skin makeup but since you're a beginner, you should do the same until you start learning. I use this and it works pretty well to overall brighten my face. Next you should invest in a good mascara. it doesn't need to be high end, I've only ever used drugstore makeup. It takes a while to find the perfect makeup look for you bc everyone is different so you need to keep experimenting! I used to slather heavy duty foundation on my face every day until someone told me "if I had skin like yours I just wouldn't wear foundation" and for a second I was like "what? But everyone wears foundation" then I realized I needed to play with makeup myself to see what does and doesn't work with me. One of my favorite makeup items is highlighter. That shit makes you glow like an ethereal goddess and I have a feeling it'll work pretty well on you since you have a beautiful skin color.
Your frames just need to be wider, but not with a thick black outline.
Like the shade of them is too light, almost 80s-style. Get with the modern styles.
there's an okcupid subreddit where people can give you advice on your approach and profile.
i'm not super familiar with online dating, but i've heard shirtless pictures do well. not so much bathroom self shots, but like outside on a hike with friends. this is contingent on you being in good shape, of course.
i just looked up this okcupid data blog for you, which says shirtless shots actually work. also, cute animals.
And this is an article on the article, where some girl interprets the results.
do you work out? honestly, man, you are well above average in the looks department. you must be doing something really wrong or have a crippling shyness to have never had a girlfriend.
Start with calory counting. http://www.myfitnesspal.com
Then reduce unhealthy foods and carbohydrates.
you might also consider going low carb, paleo or keto: reddit.com/r/keto http://keto-calculator.ankerl.com

Wow wasn't expecting a reply like that aha! Thank you very much! Yeah sometimes I think I look a bit like a coke head because my face is so thin lol but maybe I'm being very harsh. Maybe that's on my worst days + with a hangover lol. I really don't know where to start on finding a short hair cut that not literally everyone has and that I still like :/. Thanks I used that one! :)
>since psychology cannot really answer what "right" or "wrong" really is.
That's your problem you think there is an answer for something that there will never be an answer to. No one can ever answer that because everyone will never agree.
These terms don't exist. They're not real. I know what's in my mind is not real, because I can't touch and no one else can either. These are thoughts. And they all boil down to opinion.
>If the majority of people who have lived find certain things to be objectively wrong, what does that suggest?
That the majority of people find something wrong. So what? You're just another human being. What makes you think your standard of morality is above anyone else's? Simply because more people may agree with you?
Do you actually understand what objective is?
Which one of these do you actually think defines morality?
Because this is the word entirely.
With the right hair and makeup you could look pretty much like this: https://www.facebook.com/GingerJobot.
Which is to say, pretty amazing. You should definitely grow your hair as long as possible, and try to learn how to accentuate your eyebrows with makeup. And mascara will go a long way on light lashes.
Number one rule for all men, if you can't grow a full beard, then shave. A thin, patchy beard makes you look weak. Outside of that, I would say you are fine. The problem with most guys is that they think life should be like the movies where the guy is SO handsome women hit on him all the time without him doing anything. Get out of that frame of mind. If you aren't Brad Pitt or George Clooney, women aren't just going to fall into your lap.
Your looks are just fine. You have to develop your game. Learn to approach people (both men and women) that you don't know and strike up a conversation. You will get the occasional immature woman who instead of just saying "Thank you but I am not interested" she will just walk away. That can be soul crushing if you let it, but don't. People like that are usually very cold and dark inside. You don't want them. Learn to laugh those situations off. "Must be late to an appointment."
More often you will come across friendly, happy people who are down for some casual conversation. And this is where you can actually get to know a girl before you ask her out. If you just show interest in random strangers, then you are going off of looks which to a lot of women means you are shallow.
For me, the biggest thing was getting involved in groups. Use meetup.com or sites like facebook to find groups in your area with similar interests. Learn to meet girls in a group setting. At the very least you will already know you have some interests in common. And you won't seem so creepy talking to a random woman out of nowhere.
you would compare me to one of these.....? erm ok
I would smash it. you look like Sandra Oh
Ok, so from one bro to another is that a 7 according to this scale? http://www.myfitnesspal.com/sv/topics/show/1216564-realistic-1-10-attractiveness-scale
Just be honest, no need to sugarcoat stuff with me ;)
your nose is fine it looks masculine look at this guys nose in my opinion hes nose is perfect on hes face (he has a big wide nose with a bump in it) https://gyazo.com/4b6ce07e30580ee26591579d4d4a5683
Your feelings aside, you are very good looking. Your height might be intimidating to shorter guys, but that still leaves a pretty wide dating pool.
You absolutely do not need a nose job and getting one won't affect your attractiveness.
Your makeup, hair, eyebrows are all on-point, and you've concealed any acne scars you have rather well. Very pretty dark eyes.
You have very full, alluring lips. Many women spend lots of money injecting with collagen to get what you have naturally. It's very attractive.
I like your photos of you not smiling better than the smile + glasses--I'd love to see some teeth in the smile as well and a little head tilt. That will look more warm + inviting.
If you're willing to share, I'd love you to show us some more photos of your figure--between your height and weight, we're not getting much of a read on your body shape. I assume there aren't a lot of curves there, but I'm not sure that matters. Curves would improve your appearance quite a bit.
All in all, you're a very attractive girl and I'm very surprised (read: shocked!) you're have trouble getting a date. I think most people over 5'9 would be glad to date you.
Side note: The yellow dress and the blue necklace is very 90's Disney Pocohantas. I'm sure it wasn't intentional!
Honestly, if I was you I would post selfies. Get a friend of yours to take some decent pictures and I promise, that you will get more matches. But don't take pictures in the gym, where you're flashing yourself. Get inspired by him: https://www.instagram.com/iamgalla/
Side note: When I had Tinder, I NEVER liked someone who had selfies. And I'm not bad looking ;-) I hope it helped!
I laughed at your second picture until I realized it wasn't fruit salad, sadly.
Just as a heads up, adequate lighting makes a picture much more flattering. The one with your hair cut could be so much better, IMO.
I'm a 5'11'' girl too and you look better at your current weight than I did at 160 (I'm 140 now)! If you did want to lose weight I would recommend lifting because more muscle makes most everyone look better, and you will gain muscle/lose fat at the same time. Shameless plug for http://www.myfitnesspal.com/ aka the best weight loss site around. However I would say that you don't need to lose any weight if you don't want to because you a) carry it very well and b) are super pretty. Your hair is gorgeous and overall you look great. The acne will probably go away over time so by college you'll be holding off the guys, haha!
Last year, I lost about 50 pounds when I started logging my caloric intake. It's kind of a pain in the ass at first, but if you make yourself do it for everything you eat, you'll get used to it. And if you're totally honest about the portion sizes, (measuring is your friend) you will lose weight. You may be surprised at what the appropriate portion sizes of things you're eating should be. I didn't cut anything I loved from my diet, I just ate small enough portions of the bad things that it was doable. Try Myfitnesspal (they also have a smartphone app) to keep track of your caloric intake and expendature. For you to maintain your current weight, you're probably eating more than 3000 calories per day. (This is assuming that you don't have some medical disorder that messes with your weight.)
lol, that last pic was right after going to a good barbershop that did my hair and beard.
i prolly need to buy some hair stuff, but im really unsure about styling it or it looking good.
https://vgy.me/a/lGyBzWiT u dont have a disfigured / fucked up face like these people, you are easily a 7/10 + now
your jaw is your strongest feature, what is your bodyfat percentage? get it to around 12% to accentuate it further
