That's perfectly understandable. While I say that my boys are low maintenance, the key word here is maintenance. Some cats prefer wet food over dry food so it's a matter of investigating their preference. I just happen to feed my cats both and keep the dry food stocked up in case of last minute business trips (which is why a gravity feeder is so nice!). I also keep calendar reminders on my phone for litter box changes so I don't forget. This magnet reminder I keep on my fridge has also been a godsend in terms of staying on top of their feeding schedule.

If you go into a jewelry store you can have them measure your ring size. I got a tool off of Amazon, about $3 or so and I've used it for two different rings.

Regular dating sites are not mostly scam. It works for some but of course it doesn't work for most based on so many variables. Meetup.com is very good. At least in Boise, it is pretty well used. I'm in several for board games, an agnostic/atheist group, learning Spanish, hiking, etc. There is a whole bunch of categories.

i've actually never read or seen any versions of Pride and Prejudice. i've avoided it because, well, it's a straight romance, haha. but i agree, that's the way i like romance plotlines too: more realistic than saccharine, and as a part of character development as a whole.

i can't say i've seen any really great romantic gay movies. though i will admit to being a fan of Brokeback Mountain, haha. but i've definitely read some good romantic gay novels... i think my favorite has to be The Vintner's Luck by Elizabeth Knox, though i'd say that "romantic" is only vaguely applicable. if you ever get the chance, i highly recommend it. it's got a really great love story but it's about waaaay more than just that.
