So far I got Eden, Lukas Nelson, Cold War Kids, Flume, Tove Lo, Rezz, RHCP, Portugal. The Man. How do y'all want them? Thinking about putting them on TPB.
Edit: Here is the link to my torrents: https://thepiratebay.org/user/hardon88/ I'll seed them for the next week or so.
The easiest way to go about this is getting salt tablets from Amazon or a nutrition store that are designed for endurance athletes. They taste like nothing, go down like a pill, and are designed specifically for fueling active people in the sun.
These are what I use for running and at Roo
this party light has forever changed my festival camping experience. secure it to the top of your EZ up pointing towards the ground and you’re all set.
There’s a great hammock stand that’s on amazon pretty regularly for about $40. It’s not light, at all, but it’s really easy to set up and if you’re just taking it out of your car to put up at camp it’s fantastic
Found a link actually, it’s worth every penny but again, not light weight.
I'm really sorry that this happened to you. We can all use it as reminder to always watch out for this kind of stuff. It happens every single year. Remember to check out the craigslist avoiding scams page
3. Never wire funds (e.g. Western Union)
You should check these out as an alternative to conventional baby wipes. Basically the same thing but the size of a beach towel to wipe your whole body with one towel.
Anker makes some very good portable charges ( they are expensive),

Will charge an iphone 10 times.

Where are you all getting these rain forecasts?
Accuweather says things look great: https://www.accuweather.com/en/us/manchester/37355/daily-weather-forecast/335643
Weather.com shows a tiny bit of rain: https://weather.com/weather/tenday/l/d421ee18863120d3499a6a30b51fdf9d0a07ea1b19f7fbfbf103f71777478eca
I slept on eargasms for a while but I got them and they actually improved the sound quality more than anything when I used them at Forbidden Kingdom. So comfy I forget they’re in my ears and never fell out when getting down. They’re coming with me to every show now.

I believe that this is a repost of a repost that is just a creative way to promo roo.
If my detective work is right, I found that @bonnaroo365 posted this exact picture a week earlier, who they credited to a user named @amy_teetee.
Regardless, I think this all but confirms a Bowling for Souperjam.
The Coleman 5-day cooler is 100 quarts (vs 52), wheeled, and a third the cost on Amazon.
Well, I actually just found an audio recording here. I'll try to make a setlist from it if anyone else is still interested.

Yes. I am the one who commented about the fan in the other thread. I bought one that folds up and has small a flashlight on it. Similar to this one. I use it on my porch daily.
These wearable ones don't seem like they would be comfortable. I'm imagining the plastic battery pack sticking to a sweaty neck..Ive thought about this a lot. I really don't like being hot lmao.
Anker makes the best portable batteries that I've used, personally. You can find them in a variety of sizes on Amazon but I'd imagine a 10,000 mAh would be enough to charge your phone multiple times over the weekend

That is much different - let's use yours.
This is from:

I agree it is subject to great variation. 2 weeks out the temp is more accurate than the rainfall. It does look like they expect a front to go through in a about a week. Also "Scattered" generally means hit-n-miss limited duration rain.
.
Note this is the forecast in the days BEFORE Roo. Some rain is good at that time.
Accuweather is still looking prime…. That has been my go-to. The highest chance for rain they have is 35% 🤷🏻♂️ Accuweather
I've never made the walk, but it doesn't look like fun..
We've tried the foam floor tiles and they only work where the ground is actually flat. The don't stay connected if the ground underneath is lumpy. We do a tarp and one of those plastic woven RV mats now. I got one at a discount store for $40 two years ago. Its 9X12. And if you put a tarp underneath it keeps those hard pieces of farm grass from poking through. This is similar to what I have.
Thinking about using one of these for the pole:
Sunscreen, Tylenol in the tiny single use packages (I get headaches half way through the day), wallet/ID, toilet paper, hand sanitizer, mini flash light for your walk back at night and for portapotties, Candy/gum (lots of it), flow toy, warm clothes for night, battery charger, pocket blanket to sit on
Here's a hydration pack on Amazon that will fit the dimensions. Sucks that many of us may have to buy a new one, but I don't wanna risk being without a hydration pack, so this purchase may be necessary..
[KuYou]Hydration Pack Water Rucksack Backpack Bladder Bag Cycling Bicycle Bike/Hiking Climbing Pouch + 2L Hydration Bladder,(Red+Water Pouch) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01C5O9U54/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_NcGjzbQZYF0RJ
I won't claim to be a huge authority in this area, but I use these Eargasm earplugs from Amazon and definitely recommend them. They do a great job of still allowing you to hear well while getting the job done in terms of ear protection.
Assuming you don't have time to get those shipped, you can find the classic big ear plugs at most drug stores, Walmarts, Targets, grocery stores, etc. Those will not work well at shows as they are basically just a chunk of foam to keep sound out, but if you're looking more to block out noise while trying to sleep, they should get the job done and are very cheap. I have had issues keeping those from falling out of my ears, but I know others have no problem with that.
This /u/supercooldeadkids . In-store pick-up. It doesn't have to be the Manchester Wal-Mart either. Just one between Nashville and Manchester. Or Target. Or Costco. Wherever has the best deal.
https://slickdeals.net - search for canopy and voila
Bought and tested these lids from Amazon on a beer cup from previous year. They fit perfectly.

We've been using these for years with no issues. I am 6'1" 215 lbs and it does the job just fine.
fyi, you only need the https://www.amazon.com/MASTERCANOPY-Canopy-Water-Weight-Weights/dp/B07XTB4ND1/ Everything after that can be used to help identify you. Or so a reddit bot once told me.
I use a headlamp and we have a big Coleman lamp that we use at our campsite. Any headlamp will work - I got this one from Amazon https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01F7UQQGE/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 . The Coleman lamp is the Quad LED lantern https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001TS71NG/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 . It's a little pricey but it has four LED panels that you can remove and use as individual handheld lamps.
Thank you. Markets don't have emotions and most people don't get this. In business school the first thing you are taught is "The goal of a firm is to maximize shareholder wealth." That has not changed since Adam Smith wrote "The Wealth of Nations."
.
Last year was bad from the owner point of view - attendance was almost halved. There is no question they were going to do something different this year. I said ahead of time they had two choices.
.
1. Take some risk to get back to the "Big 3" festival status by going out on a limb and stacking the lineup in hopes that the attendance went back to where it was (i.e. doubled).
.
or
.
2 Get some big names, but save enough on the rest of the lineup that they break even about 35,000 and make a reasonable profit at 45,000.
I'd usually agree, but this song is a sequel to White Privilege which was on his first album, back when he was practically a nobody. It's something he's felt strongly about since the start.
Also, what's the alternative? Him continuing rapping and ignoring all the important parts of black culture like Iggy and Miley?
Currently, Weather Underground defaults to Nashville for historical data. Except for 2006 and 2007, these data were collected the week after each festival for Manchester
2006 and 2007 were pulled from historical data for Smyrna.
2008 - 2011 were from Weather.com
2012 - 2018 were from WUnderground.com
ditch the tent, get 3 sidewalls for the ez up and clip a tapestry (or blackout curtain) over the 4th wall you'll use for access. you can let the sidewalls and tapestry flap in the wind or roll them up depending on where the sun is throughout the day, it works pretty well for me.
That seems to be one of the lowest prices (Per CamelCamelCamel).
ETA: It looks like you can get the Envoy model with a blue canopy for $104. It seems to be a slightly less robust model, but it's still Ez-Up and straight legged.
http://www.irfanview.com and here is a software that you can use to see the geo-location info. Like I said I have little experience with this stuff but from what I understand if these pictures have been uneditted you should be able to find the location of where these pictures were taken.
Lorde would be a solid addition. Saw her at Osheaga last year and she sounds amazing live. Before that though, I saw her 5 days after her first album dropped in 2013 at a free mini outdoor concert put on by a radio station. I didn't know who she was at the time (or that she was 16) but loved her voice, so I decided to go check her out. Turned out to be me (29yo male) and 200 <16yo girls who had that idea. Even though I was the first person there I ended up standing back with all the girls parents so I didn't look like a total creep show. I'm still glad I went cause it's cool seeing someone before they absolutely explode into fame.

Not as cool as a tapestry, but will do the job!
The exact one I have isn't on Amazon anymore but this is similar to what I use. Its a little heavy but it works great.
After seeing me use mine at Firefly my buddy bought a foldable one like this from the Wal-mart right outside of Bonnaroo and it worked for him. It was way lighter than mine and quicker to set up but didn't seem as sturdy. Still worked for him though!
These are a great option that I've used in the past! You can also search for wine bags or plastic liquor bottles on Amazon to see a few other options!

El-Wire is the standard. It's the light up string stuff you've probably seen before. You can get it very cheap on Amazon and it's easy to hot glue onto anything. Two AA batteries will last you nearly the entire weekend.

Audio of their Primevera set. Before Wildflower, with gear issues, so definitely not going to be the set we would see if you are spoiler worried.
No idea, I didn't really get a chance to hang out with them much. They were stopping through on their way from Toronto to NYC (we live in Rochester, NY and that's where one of the guys is from). I was actually at a Buffalo Bills game when they were in town so I only briefly talked with them but they told my roommate that they're doing 3-4 festivals, one of them being Firefly. So it's not impossible for them to play, but they're based in LA so Coachella seems much more likely this year and then they'll be everywhere next year. I'll see if my roommate can txt them and get some scoops for us. But here's a picture of the guys on our couch wearing my roommate's Star Wars helmets with our husky puppy, Ghost.
That Bonnapoo kit is genius. I need to find my flashlight.
I am going with a large group, but I'm going to be flying solo in centeroo. I'm going to be running around capturing as many groups/artists as I can on my GoPro for my videos
Man, I was front and center for that concert and nothing comes close. I have good news for you, though! They did get back together, and are starting a tour next month.
September is not the fall lol. It's going to be hotter and more humid.
Edit- eh, maybe about the same. https://weatherspark.com/y/14657/Average-Weather-in-Manchester-Tennessee-United-States-Year-Round
They booked him knowing he has new material coming out. He will have a two hour set, I guarantee he will play several new songs if not most of his new album. He currently only has 3 shows before Roo booked (http://www.songkick.com/artists/3277856-kendrick-lamar) and with each passing one (assuming his album hasn't come out yet) we will have a better look at his set lists. He knows he has to bring it if he wants to maintain top billing status. This is where he will make the real money.
I am not a big R&B fan. I saw the Weeknd at Lolla in 2012 and it was awful. Frank Ocean was outstanding at a Lolla aftershow. That's about as far as my R&B standards are live. One of the best soul/R&B acts out there right now is James Blake. He would put on a killer set from his first two albums, and maybe even some sick remixes like recent ones that have surfaced. I've seen live sets online from Coachella and P4K and NPR, and holy bejesus I must see him.
His tour dates look promising. Especially since he will be at Governor's Ball and that ends his current touring. One more trip to the farm seems likely. If anyone here is a James Blake fan, you'll find me way up front!
Haven't got that far into the music as of yet. But once I'm done downloading I'll run all my songs through a BPM (beats per minute) analyzer like this. You can then build yourself playlists with songs of the same BPM. This allows you to keep your flow going consistently for cardio based activities, and also can help keep slower gym buzz killing tunes off your gym mix.

I own three pairs of these babies, I go hiking in them sometimes. Im sure you can find them cheaper on the actual eddie bauer website.
I use a 20k mah battery pack with a little solar panel on it. The pack itself will charge my phone 3-4 times and the solar panel on it keeps it charged enough so I don’t run out over the weekend.

Something like this might help
I have this Camelbak Rogue. But I got it on sale for $50. It appears to be for cycling but is easy to use when sandy (ive had bad experiences with endless zippers and straps), fits the pocket requirement, has a “stuff” pouch (I use it to hold a pair of thin pants for the potential late night chill), and has a handle and rim around the reservoir for holding it perfectly level instead of fumbling and getting your stuff all wet (absolutely critical). I can’t recommend this pack enough.
Plastic storage bins are going to be your best friend.
Wife and I have a camping bin with our tent, sleeping bags, hammocks, and still have room for whatever else we can cram in them.
Ahh right…so between 2 people that’s $100 …have one at your site it’s heaven 🙏

I use these for light at camp. I just put a couple hooks on the EZ ups frame and hook them to the ceiling. Then you can just pull on em and they give off a ton of light for being so small. Usually just crack em open just barely. You can usually get em for super cheap on amazon too if you get the 2-4 packs. Never had to change the batteries last year either so good lifespan too.
pending what you're wanting to spend i found a used one of these on amazon for like $80 but don't see that price anymore. it's a hell of speaker though

https://www.amazon.com/Osprey-Packs-Raptor-Hydration-Pack/dp/B019UTJPU2
You can pick one up for around $105 if you look around. Somewhat on the pricier side, but I have used it about 8 times in the past two years & for the quality/durability of the bag, I think the value is there. I also used a $25 one from Amazon for Firefly & Made In America a few years ago that 100% got the job done. They're certainly not as stylish as some other options.
-Superior Quality vs a $25 one (that will totally suffice): location & quality of zippers, the fit of the elastic waist bands, clips & straps, reservoir snaps & seal
-Magnet hose stay is a major plus
-Two extremely hidden pockets, I didn't find one of them until my 4th of 5th time using the bag, I wonder if there's more I haven't located
-3L reservoir is massive, I only fill to about 1.5L most of the time. I have learned on extremely hot days during the day slipping someone a $5 and having them stuff if to the top with ice is a total game changer
-Nice place to put your phone/wallet/etc in one of the compartments that helps 'theft-proof' yourself without need for fanny/wearing bag on chest
-Not too large while having enough space to pack a blanket, sweater, etc.
We bring a couple portable electric generators ($70 or more on amazon depending on the size/power you want) and use it to power our regular computer speakers or whatever speakers we have. Plus side to that is we can use the generators to power anything we need all weekend and it comes with a jumpstarter for your car and air compressor.
Someone mentioned a coleman cot being the best sleep he's had at roo.
I found this one on Amazon and will likely get it: https://www.amazon.com/Coleman-2000020273-32-Inches-Pack-Away-Cot/dp/B0043AK0O4/ref=sr_1_5?ie=UTF8&qid=1525981027&sr=8-5
The Amazon Basics one is built just fine mechanically, but I feel the top doesn't do a good job blocking UV/IR, feels like the sun punches through it in the mid day heat despite it seemingly blocking visible light fairly well. It also seems to leak a tiny bit at the seams, so it drips in the rain. I paid $60 which was a pretty good deal for a canopy even if it is imperfect.
There may be some other canopies with better sun blocking material, but it may be cheaper overall to just get the Amazon one and add another tarp over top.
I sprayed mine down with two cans of this in prep for next year: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07BGLS6W1 which might help with both the heat and water dripping, plus I bought a cheap pack of Mylar blankets that I may try to attach somehow to help, along with an extra tarp or two. I'll try that out this coming year and see how it works out.
Canopies usually come with tent spikes and holes in each leg so no worries.
You can buy a box of extra large (2" or 2.5") binder clips from the local office supply store (Office Depot, Staples, Walmart, etc) to hang tapestries for just a few bucks. You'll want to use 6-8 per tapestries in case of wind, but big boxes are dirt cheap. I'm using heavy duty spring clamps since we're using some tarps for walls, and they're heavier and block the sun better. I bought a box on Amazon here: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01N7ZSPRY
10x10 or 10x15 or so tarp for the ground isn't a bad idea. If you have a ton of room to haul one down with you, a carpet roll or rug might be nice and plenty of people talk about finding a cheap remnant or leftover, but I'd worry about rain on the last day or two and having to haul a soggy carpet back.
This is my first roo but I've spent a lot of time thinking about this. I tend to need my phone a lot for work so battery consumption is a familiar topic for me.
Best advice I can give is to have two battery packs. One in the form of a phone case and one in the form of a portable charger.
I recommend lux mobile cases if you're and iPhone user. Lux Mobile You can save some money with discount code "lux" at checkout. I've had one of them for every iPhone I've owned and it works great.
For your backup external just grab something off of Amazon with a high capacity. I recommend this one .
Make sure you're at 100% on both when you arrive and turn off your car for the weekend. You should be all set from there. If you chew through battery though you can always turn your engine on for a bit to restore both packs and youre good to go. :)
Hope this helps!!
I’ve never been To Bonnaroo but I just bought these solar powered lights off amazon. Seems to have a lot of good reviews and it’s solar powered so won’t need any batteries. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07427BLTG/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_Vbz1Cb0XQRFM6
THIS^^. My first time to ever use a cot was last year per friend's recommendation..... it was the best night sleep I have ever gotten while camping. Cots are the way to go.

I'm flying in this year, so I needed something portable. I got this cot off amazon for my birthday this year, and it's going to work great.
I love these battery & remote controlled lights on Amazon:

I just bought a second set for our other EZ up. It fits perfectly around the standard 10x10 canopy. And there is a light setting for every kind of vibe back at camp haha.
I also pick up a few solar garden lights at the Walmart before going in. They’re like $1 each. I put them at the end of the car so you can more easily find your campsite at night.

I use the Electrolyte powder mixes by Emergen-C. It’s similar to Pedialyte but it was cheaper when I bought it. I think you can get even cheaper versions of it on Amazon. Anyways - I like the powder version better because it takes up way less space and lasts longer. Way better value IMO.

I just checked prohibited items and it doesn't say anything about bubble guns or machines. Not sure why they are confiscated? I have 6 hours to order this to get here by Christmas! What y'all think?

I think my name should be changed to Halo Bolt pusher...game changer.
(there's a few different variants this just so happens to be what I have)
If the amount of power wasn't an issue but just the amount of ports I would suggest something like this...maybe scoop up 2.

When I went to Bonnaroo with a friend a while back, it was his first time and he was pulling out all the stops. Was super surprised when he busted out this bucket fan thing I had never seen before. It was amazing. Def check it out if you wanna stay cool.

I have a tent that attaches to the canopy (similar to this with no doggy door) and at night I keep the windows zipped up, as soon as the sun starts coming up I put the windows down and let the 3-4 fans go at full blast to get another 2-3 hours of sleep. I also use a cot which is so much better.
I bought this before knowing about the regulations… do you guys think I will be okay?? https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08FT2FCL4/ref=cm_sw_r_api_i_0T1FC813HM0NTV42X5SG_4?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
I have this kit but unfortunately it got expensive in intervening years (was almost half price in 2018):

Maybe you can find something similar elsewhere for a better price.
I ended up not extending it the full height since it was a bit windy in 2019 and started to look questionable all the way up, but still it was super study to the point it was over all the tents, probably 15' instead of the max 20'.
Going to recommend this little guy. It's a massage ball. Throw it on the ground, roll your foot over it and get into those arches.
I went to a festival in May and after wearing my hiking boots for a day my feet were murdered. I rolled with the ball for about 5-min on each foot and woke up the next day to brand new feet.
I’ll link you! Some have that weird layer that look like shorts but i found some without so you won’t have that awkward line across your thighs :) CozyWow Women's High Waist Footed Tights Solid Color Semi Opaque Pantyhose Soft & Comfortable https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09B9P2RYB/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_6N2ZC7NDT0NB8W9HTGAN?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
They also makes these that work for anyone. They have a gel that dries up whatever is in the bag and neutralizes the odor and you can seal them up and throw them away.

Nice set up, thanks for sharing👍I think that’s the route I’m going to go. I also found these clips that suction to your vehicle and you can attach tarps and create a huge canopy. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08GCPZC6S/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_RCR8W3JT6KJT964BNGN3
Binder clips, or do what I do: tarp clips (non-affiliate Amazon link). I use zip ties to secure them to my canopies, and the clips will hold on through just about anything but a tornado. There is a possibility of them ripping the tapestries if the wind gets too strong, but if it gets like that even the most well-staked canopy may be skyward.
These small colorful maracas are so much fun to play with and hand away as gifts. When your while group’s levels are hitting just right, you can stand in a little circle and shake these to the beat of your favorite EDM act and it feels like you’re participating in the music and it’s euphoric AF.

Great! This is the closest I could find with a quick scan of amazon. I like to fill the pockets with silly trinkets that make security giggle and can be given away to strangers over the weekend. Tiny hands, toy bugs, mystery capsules...
