Yeah, of course. If anybody's confused as to that it is exactly, it's an interactive live wallpaper you add and edit elements (text, images, progress bars, etc) and click actions to. It uses very little to no processing since it's just technically an image and you're not using any plugins. I did this with the free version.

Halfway through the second episode right now, I'm thinking this was a new transfer and not an upscale of the old DVDs
the opening and closing titles look to have been "reconstructed" (new fonts and placement of credits)
the "next episode" preview doesn't have the title written in English (but they show it in subs at the bottom)
to my eye, there appears to be a difference in quality between the traditional animation and CG scenes, as if they were able to do an HD transfer of the animation elements but were stuck with the lower-res CG elements

Quick PSA: check out funimation and crunchyroll (netflix, hulu) to see if there is a way to legally stream the anime of your choice. Sure, there'll be ads, but its the least you can do to support the anime industry.

I had the exact same experience! Luckily, I have some good news.... The song is actually being released on the Cowboy Bebop (Soundtrack From The Netflix Original Series) with a bunch of more songs that weren't in the soundtrack that was released when the series first came out.

It's an issue that carried over from the Australian BD. You are supposed to be able to select the English dub via the remote.

If I'm not mistaken, the series is the regular BD release. There exists some really fancy versions. Notably this one on Blu-ray.
As for the film, I have a pretty cool one with a book full of artwork.

I just bought it on bluray so I didn't have to worry about it bouncing from service to service, fixing to do the same with the four seasons and the two MHA movies.
To be fair they still do that in Japan and some other countries.
I bought the limited editions of Boarding School Juliet and each volume only contained 3 episodes.

That DVD set is a bootleg. This is what you should have purchased if you wanted the DVDs. Or if you wanted the original Release of the series on DVD its always 6 disks in individual DVD cases, Even the Perfect Sessions is just a box for the individual DVDs and a Soundtrack CD.
When i googled the UPC the only results were the BN link and some other foreign sites. But i think that is same Steelbook as the one in my Best Buy Link. It also being sold on Amazon which also shows as a September 15 release. Seems to be a timed exclusive for Best Buy.
Cowboy Bebop: The Complete Series Blu-ray and the Cowboy Bebop: Complete Series SteelBook (Available now at Best Buy) are the exact same thing. Same disk content, same disk art even so only the packaging is different. The Steelbook does included a Digital Copy through Funimation though. The standard Blu-ray has been as cheap as $20 on amazon (in Dec) so that might happen again. The Amazon Special edition includes the same disks as the standard Blu-Ray release but also includes the DVD version of the show as well and has a small Art Book and Sketch Book (line art from the show). The Art book is the size of a standard Blu-Ray case and the sketchbook is a little thicker. If you have any questions on the Editions (US) i can help... i own them all.

In the US, it’s not illegal, as long as you got it from YouTube and it’s not copyright strike or reuploaded for monetization. Converting a sound to mp3 isn’t torrenting or pirating, so you’re safe. Check internet laws in your country though just to be sure if you’re worried about it.

The set I have has 5 books. 2 of them are part of one story called "Shooting Star" and the other three are like compilations of things that just give more character and could me seen as filler stuff if they were ever in the show. Really enjoyable.
