See if your library has them.
See if they could buy more.

Remember, the worst the librarian could say is "ook".
Steven Briggs, you can make out his SPB '02 in the bottom there. It appears above a map in the forematter to Night Watch, and he's credited in the copyright notice.
Apparently a 2010 miniseries, here's the first half in horrendous quality on youtube and here's a link to where I just bought the blu-ray on Amazon.
I take it you're listening to the Phoenix Books Rudnicki/Ellison recording and not the Isis Audio Steven Briggs one?
The L-Space Pratchett Quote File may be of interest to you. There is also a book on <em>The Wit and Wisdom of Discworld</em>.
After a quick look over the list of wants I have, I do remember this being a book club copy, and found you a quick link http://www.abebooks.com/Colour-Magic-Maple-Vale-Terry-Pratchett/11819928983/bd Pretty dang cool actually, you got a great piece there.
Those are the Gollancz collectors' editions. At the moment they only go up to Jingo because they don't own the rights to any books after that. They should cost around £10 - not sure what country you're in, but this site sells them with free worldwide delivery: http://www.bookdepository.com/Mort-Terry-Pratchett/9781473200104
They have also printed a version of Good Omens in this style.
That moment when you see the link to Thief of Time is absolutely brilliant, too.
Next year on the 25th of May, wear some lilac and carry a towel.
Looks like the collectors editions are £10 on amazon
IMO they are by far the nicest to read and have on a shelf. (not that the old "colour riot" paperback covers don't have their own charm)
I've created a Drupal module - sandbox is on Drupal.org: https://www.drupal.org/sandbox/geldora/2453567
You can also download it from here (scroll to end of the article to find text in english + link to download): http://borovaya.info/node/156
Looks like the Discworld Imaginarium. Highly recommend!
> If I had to guess I'd say that the author of Ghost Cats had the 2004 chicken soup for the soul quote in their head and read The Unadulterated Cat at some point, after which they mixed up their quotes and the 2009 chicken soup for the soul book assumed that Ghost Cats had found the original source.
https://en.wikiquote.org/wiki/Terry_Pratchett
Nice "guessing", brother.
Anyway, yeah it's probably a misattribution. Pyramids does have a bit about sacred cats (see below), but not that quote exactly.
>‘Cats are sacred,’ said Dios, shocked at the words Teppic uttered. ‘Long-legged cats with silver fur and disdainful expressions are, maybe,’ said Teppic nursing his hand, ‘I don’t know about this sort. I’m sure sacred cats don’t leave dead ibises under the bed. And I’m certain that sacred cats that live surrounded by endless sand don’t come indoors and do it in the king’s sandals, Dios.
Thud! is one of my favorites. I love Vimes, and I love the plot. It's one of the best mysteries. The clues all come together - [Spoilers] the crazy artist who thought the chickens were coming to get him, the Device that the dwarves were secretly excavating the city to find, the story of the tapestry, meeting the king of Trolls - Mr. Shine Him Diamond, and the board game Thud! And of course "Where's My Cow", and you can just picture Vimes doing the voices. It's just a great book. The climax is super fun as well, and I think that the parallel with the beginning forgives the whole silliness about the roads shutting down to get him home on time. Yes, it's privilege that Vimes usually wouldn't tolerate, but Carrot knows some things are Important.
Full disclosure, I also own and cherish a copy of Thud: The Board Game.
Agreed, they are all awesome.
Discworld 1 and 2 are HARD. Or atleast, they were when I was playing them as a kid. They puzzles just made very little sense and when stuck I'd spend hours going to each location on the map and trying each item in my inventory with each object on the screen, it got real annoying real quick.
That being said, the voice acting is awesome. The artwork is great and the stories are of course wonderful. Lots of hours enjoyed :-)
It's even on 'Abandonia' if anyone wants it. I can't rate this site, never used it.
well I'm 42 and I'd like one. But it'll depend on the person.
the Discworld Atlas may be a fun thing too
Apparently Terry Pratchett was playing around with a program that attempted to reproduce parts of sentences so that it could have a conversation with you. Something like this, but more advanced: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/16714501/

Anyway, he decided to put in the lyrics too Particle Man and the recipe for a local Chinese restaurant and loved the phrase so much he decided to include it in his next book.
AUDIBLE is having a sale today. A lot of the Discworld offerings are $10 or less. They are normally between $30 and $50 each.
I have been collecting the audio books for a while as they are great to fire up for my commute. I was occasionally getting a good deal when buying the e-book, where the audio book was tacked on for $2-3. This was not on every title, but about a dozen.
As a result my audio book library is missing quite a few. I just managed to get 8 more into my collection for the average price of $8 each.
NOTE: Night Watch is one of the titles on sale. (Sorry, this is a better link than the one in the title.)

Laundry files is very good, My favorite is book 2 "the Jennifer Mourge".
I can also recommend the "Peter Grant" series by Ben Aaronovitch, the audiobooks are really top notch.
It has great characters, and is about Peter Grant, a police officer and the first wizard apprentice in 50 years, working for the secret department of magic in the police he must do his duty as an officer of the law, and as an apprentice hemust train with his master. It is a police procedure with magic kind of book.
A coworker loaned me the first two books long ago.
But before that, I had heard his name a lot, but didn't know quite who he was. Before the Web, there were newsgroups - discussion groups, not the binaries that seem to be the main use these days. I spent a lot of time participating, starting in the late 80s, and I kept seeing a group called alt.fan.pratchett, which apparently is still going on google groups, and I presume usenet. Terry would occasionally post to the group, but unfortunately, I didn't know about him until much later.
If you can spare the cash there is a new dramatization of that coming to audible
Have you tried the book depository? Whenever I'm browsing there, I tend to see non-English editions of what I'm looking for. I don't know if they necessarily have Bosnian or Croatian, but it might be worth checking out.
Ask, and you shall receive!
Tell me if you've managed to get the file.
I see that someone already provided you a link for LDD. So you can have more options : https://studio.bricklink.com/v2/build/studio.page
Fun fact: The Dokuwiki project has also been using Discworld characters for version naming since 2011, too. :)

A book that might be of interest to you is Pratchett's Women: Unauthorised Essays on Female Characters of the Discworld.
There are a few other essay's and thesis' listed on l-space which might give you some inspiration.
If anyone's interested in buying this it's currently only £23 via Amazon: Terry Pratchett's Discworld Imaginarium https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/1473223377/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_vuVfAbKVPAEYQ
Much cheaper than the £35 this article advertises it as.
Here you go! I ordered it from Amazon and it’s been worth every penny.
Than you so much! I love it. I got it on Amazon for a convention. I wore it non stop all weekend. It was awesome :-D
I also am not sure if it's allowed, but here's the link:
https://www.amazon.com/Kaariss-Knitted-Halloween-Masquerade-Accessory/dp/B07HJ189SC
Happy witching!
That's certainly true. It was hard to get hold of an illustrated version for many years, but they re-released it in 2011
Its not illustrated to the same extent as The Last Hero though. Its got about 20 illustrations, a few full page ones and some half page or ones in the margins. I don't think you're missing a huge amount by not having them.

They seem to be solid rock placed on an angle. This article gives a better description of rock gongs but still doesn’t answer the question.
http://www.openculture.com/2018/08/how-to-play-an-ancient-rock-gong.html
I had no idea either until I saw it on the shelf! It was quite an exciting discovery for me. The book is really beautifully put together, too.
It's for sale on amazon right now for $40.
I can't seem to find a site that actually shows a preview of how the artwork is incorporated into the text, but here's the artists gallery site with some of the artwork from the book.
It’s this version that’s on amazon https://www.amazon.com/Maskerade-Novel-Discworld-Terry-Pratchett-ebook/dp/B000UVBT36/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?crid=1KO6L79XOZQPZ&keywords=masquerade+terry+pratchett&qid=1661983690&sprefix=maskerade+terry+pratchet%2Caps%2C265&sr=8-1
It was also VERY bright outside
So the Kidby coloring book has a similar image.
I took the coloring book preview image off Amazon and cleaned it up a bit.
Hopefully this is close to what you’re looking for?
I have the Oxford Unabridged Dictionary in 2 volumes of impossibly small font.* It came with a magnifying glass. At the time (1970s?) it was offered as a treasure you could buy for $80 if you joined a particular book club (think the old pattern of sending new albums you had to either pay for or send back at your own expense). I stayed in the book club just long enough to meet my legal commitment, then did the work of exiting it, all so I could own that marvelous resources. It gives all the definitions, all the etymology, the oldest known use of the word, and sample sentences for every definition. I suspect I'd find scale in there with all three origins, but I thank you for putting this here as a reminder for me to not forget those very large books sitting in my guest room/library.
When I married my now spouse, and he moved into my house, he brought his own Oxford Unabridged with him. Neither of us were willing to give away or sell our personal copy so we still have them.
*Impossibly small font because what they did was copy and reduce the pages of volumes of more reasonably sized fonts, and put 4 pages on each large page of the 2 volume set. This link leads to an Amazon bookseller who has one for sale. Linking it so you can see what the books look like.
I will be interested to see the new Pyramids cover, since my copy depicts young Prince Teppic as a 40 year old Benedict Cumberbatch.
Mort, Reaper Man, Soul Music were published as a trilogy in 1998. If you have the original black hardcover in good shape, you are a very fortunate person.
Cute! These remind me of the "compact" Discworld books we had back in the 90s. It was just the first four books, and they were a little bigger than these – maybe two inches. I remember reading Mort that way on the train to school!
There are 4 games:
The Colour of Magic(1986); Just learned of this, seems it's not very good.
Discworld(1995); The game is loosely based on Guards Guards.
Discworld 2 Missing Presumed (1996); Loosely based on Reaper man and Moving Pictures.
Discworld Noir(1999); An original work.
The games are officially Abandonware and can legally be downloaded.
Do note that getting them working can be a bit if a chore.
I guess it depends in which region you are, as I can find it here on Audible:

Hello, I'm a bot! The movie you linked is called Going Postal, here are some Trailers
https://www.amazon.com/Small-Gods-Discworld-Graphic-Novel/dp/0857522965
I enjoyed the graphic novel. Although it feels a little rushed in some places (it's hard to abridge a 400 page book to a 120 page comic without skipping over a few things) the artwork is good and the cartoony style really works for this story, IMO.
Not sure if it would stand on it's own for someone who never read the book, but for a Discworld fan it's a great addition to the library.
Hi Finibus,
It's not braille but it's a good guess (I've had people think that it's just a random series of lights). They are actually letters from the Clacks alphabet (Going Postal). I found the visual representations of each letter online here, on a forum about board games.
It spells out: "GNU TERRY PRATCHETT"
If you're an OpenStreetMap fan, there's a way to hide the clacks overhead in the metadata with the pTerry JOSM plugin
Heya. You can buy something like https://tinyurl.com/y8shjjxo but with proper dimensions.
When I was done with jigsaw, I slide it onto that frame and clip it with the front plexi glass or what is it. It holds nicely. :)
Or you can start already on that back frame and then just clip it with the front part. :)
I can see this point of view and I understand there are many people who appreciate Kirby's art. I think you might be on to something, but I always got the vibe that PTerry wasn't all that happy with Kirby's interpretations.
I couldn't find any evidence either way. I know Kirby did the first 18 DW books plus most of PTerry's early work, which could point out Pratchett didn't outright hate the covers, but it could just as well be that this was the publishers' choice and it was now The Brand, which only changed after Kirby's death.
There's a short video of PTerry talking about Kirby and it is sort of ambiguous, but if you want to see it, there's a modicum of annoyance there.
And then, back in April, Bernard Pearson (the IRL Cunning Artificer and long time friend of PTerry's) came out with episode 2 of his podcast, in which he reminisced with his wife about their start as Discworld artists. They mention Kirby, starting around minute 8:13. Around minute 9, Bernard explains how he'd sculpted Twoflower with glasses, as that is how he'd interpreted "four-eyes", to wich PTerry apparently said something along the line of "of course it's glasses, he doesn't have four --ing eyes, read the --ing book", which apparently Kirby hadn't, because on this cover Twoflower has four eyes in a row.
I don't know, Kirby's art reads to me like the man had a set style, read through a short synopsis and banged something out. I hate the way he drew women and his whoke style makes me feel icky, so I could also be biased.
So is I Shall Wear Midnight!
Here's the link to Gollancz announcement.
I purchased the books from bookdepository.com. They're $13-15 a piece, but with free shipping to the US. I was buying them as they were released, so it didn't sting quite so much.
Better late than never, I got this one: http://www.abebooks.com/servlet/FrameBase?content=%2Fservlet%2FListingDetails%3Fshowpic=1%26stockphoto=1%26showpicurl=http://isbn.abebooks.com/bwk/72/57/0575073772.jpg%26booktitle=The+Last+Hero+%3A+A+Discworld+Fable%26bookauthor=Pratchett%2C+Terry
And it is truly wonderful, especially the drawings of Dread Lord Harry and his minions. Nuggan is about what you'd expect. The layers of meaning in the Leonardo sketches were very well done.
I was indeed curious about that, since the 2007 one does indeed seem shorter. Although this edition seems massive: http://www.abebooks.com/9780575073777/Last-Hero-Discworld-Fable-Pratchett-0575073772/plp 17 * 282 * 241 mm, and weighs in at 949 grams. (that's 0.67 * 11.1 * 9.49 inches, and 2.09 pounds)
Bookfinder is a great search tool for everything from cheap used books to rare signed copies. Also try ebay.uk for some good deals on Pratchett's stuff, but be aware of potential forgeries, some people will take a 1st/1st and forge a signature, its trickery still since Pratchett has so many variations on how he signs his name.
I don't think it will work. Using a potato camera to take a picture of a picture behind glass...
The best I could find was this: https://flipboard.com/topic/discworld/an-lcs-interview-with-paul-kidby/f-b00f442539%2Fthelittlechimpsociety.com
Nothing specific online that I'm aware of, although you could try google books which allows you to search some of the text. I used Calibre (free ebook managment/conversion software) which has a plug in that will search epubs.
I'll send you a message with the list
<3 This really is one of the best little communities on reddit, I think. :)
I've been lucky - /r/discworld is chill, like you say. I also have hosted much of the Simutrans community for well over a decade, and drama in that community is also rare. I'm spoiled. :)
I did a rough transcription of this for a friend awhile back - I have it up at http://sqweek.net/music/sioni_v3.xml Its MusicXML format which you can load into MuseScore or similar notation software. I prepared it in an older version of MuseScore, current versions complain about some bars being corrupted but if you ignore the warnings it loads fine. I can't see anything missing, although the line breaks aren't in the right place anymore.
There's a bunch of blank spaces where the music repeats - I've only notated the first repeat.
Just wanted to let you know, this is a Flask specific entry, and would be considered an after_request modifier

I was hoping to send one for my grandson. Didn't realize it had spiraled that high.
If it helps, there's 4 new copies through amazon.ca, 24 Canuckle bucks. Shipping will jack it up accordingly.
Where's My Cow?: Terry Pratchett: 9780060872670: Books - Amazon.ca
There is a fantastic young adult novel called "The Trumpeter of Krakow" I remember from 30ish years ago. Edit:still in print! https://www.amazon.com/Trumpeter-Krakow-Eric-P-Kelly/dp/0689715714/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?dchild=1&keywords=trumpeter+of+krakow&qid=1606786741&sprefix=trumpeter+of&sr=8-1
It's the current Harper (US) mass market reprint. Got it off Amazon (I have two hardcovers already)
Happy Hogswatch!
I think this is the one.
https://www.amazon.co.uk/Hat-Full-Sky-Tiffany-Discworld/dp/055257631X/
If you head to colinsmythe.co.uk you can see all of the editions for each book and find their ISBNs.
Oh! I’ve had it a very long time, bought it when it was first published.
The Amazon preview is the intro to the book, and is narrated almost entirely by Rudnicki.
The rest of the audiobook is...not great. It’s not that the voice actors aren’t good, it’s just that, for whatever reason, they were directed to read the book in shifts, rather than character by character, so when the man does female voices or the woman does male voices, the results are...not great.
It's a good podcast, loved the Pyramids one they just did. I get it through the app Podcast Addict. My only complaint would be that the audio is sometimes not balanced. One person will be very loud, and you can barely hear another person. Makes adjusting the volume a bit tricky.
These books from amazon have a very similar cover to the ones from OPs picture.
All listings with a name like book title (Discworld, Band X), however they don't seem to have Eric..
I can think of some people that were hounded by the "Cable Street Particulars".
Well, this one will last you 8 more months...
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Pratchetts-Discworld-Collectors-Calendar-Calendars/dp/057510368X/
The next one is available for pre-order, but no pictures yet. I have been collecting them for a few years now. They're beautiful. Some pictures from book covers, and some just scenes from the books.
I just read The Folklore Of Discworld and it says that the story is explicitly a reference to these myths, which are widespread across many different cultures.
King Arthur in particular is mentioned as being asleep under a castle or an abbey, waiting to be awakened at a time of great need.
Nope. There's a worldwide edition of the iPlayer radio app.
Here's the Android Play store link:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.bbc.globaliplayerradio.international
There's only one radio station not available and that's the sports one. Also it omits the download button as that feature isn't available outside the UK.
