The Boy is the son of Rick Ross and due to his fathers money, he doesnt have to work so he spends his time trolling people on the internet. The Boy's mother died when he was young. The Boy has friends that he feels only hang around for his money. Cant really get into too much detail without ruining the Because The Internet story. I suggest you give it a read, RapGenius has it with annotations to help out http://genius.com/2522266/Childish-gambino-because-the-internet-screenplay-part-1/ I think the change from "Weirdo" to "The Boy" happened due to a rough break-up he had with a girl, him trying to kill himself, having people close to him die and feeling lost. This interview is a pretty good read(The audio for it is on this subreddit!)http://noisey.vice.com/blog/donald-glover-childish-gambino-interview
https://itunes.apple.com/us/album/because-the-internet/id752461511
Streaming also counts, so play that album start to finish on Spotify and Apple Music. Request it at your local radio station too, if that's your thing.
I know Bino doesn't have the media attention of the likes of Drake, but I think BTI is a great album and it deserves to stay on the Billboard 200. I personally will be picking up another copy from Amazon just for the hell of it, and because I got paid today!
And like DC says in Feel It All Around: "We trust you to pay when we ask you to pay / Til then, Chili Peppers, we give it away"
The album doesn't have any samples I believe.
Edit: I was wrong, according to whosampled.com Redbone and Riot contain samples.
The song is Exhibit C by Jay Electronica. It's produced by Just Blaze
EDIT: The instrumental is Exhibit C by Jay Electronica but that instrumental is sampled from "Cross My Heart" by Billy Stewart. See here
It makes more sense with the line before it. >Uh, yeah I'm killin' you, step inside the lion's den >Man I'm hov if the 'O' was an 'I' instead
Hov is another nickname for Jay-Z (http://wiki.answers.com/Q/Why_is_Jay-Z_called_hov), but if the "O was an I instead" it would be HIV... so "Killing you like HIV (AIDS)"
"III. Life: The Biggest Troll [Andrew Auernheimer]" is a really in-depth song and he explains his current thoughts and how is extremely lost. http://genius.com/Childish-gambino-life-the-biggest-troll-andrew-auernheimer-lyrics
or if ur attempting to impress ur teacher u can do "Worst Guys". Donald mentions it's about sex.
another really personal song is "Not Going Back" , it shows his achievement throughout the years. it has a really powerful message... and it has a spiderman reference which is dope.
They released 3.15.20 merch in this style actually! You can still get them on Amazon.
The line being referenced: "Elle Varner, got a crush on her. I gotta wait in line for that"
Has most but not all, always updated: http://foreverchildish.com/music
I don't think it's been updated in the last ~2 years but it's very solid for anything before that: https://wakelet.com/@Childish_Gambino
not sure, here's the original and per my comment below the creator's channel is here. by the looks of it they play a lot of Pavlov VR? I don't think that game's models really match the ones in the clip tho given the face masks and helmets, someone'll prob say for sure tomorrow when they upload the clip on YouTube
A friend bought it for me for my birthday, I believe from the official NBC store. It was years ago when the show was still on
Link Found a version of it on Amazon: https://smile.amazon.com/Community-Troy-and-Abed-Mug/dp/B003SXGN7K?sa-no-redirect=1
I suggest you check out the annotations on rapgenius.
Dunno if it explains everything but it's still great to dig in a little deeper in the story
I think that's the point.
Also worth noting:
>Google and a penis reference, same sentence goodie goodie
>I love my dick so much that they let a nigga host the woodies
He has a lot of this video wrong. Just for example, Donald didn't quit Community to focus on his rap career, he quit Community because he was scared of being trapped in something for the rest of his life he didn't necessarily want to do forever. His "Instagram confessions" say exactly that.
They're beaut pipes, a bit pricier than I remember, was gifted one way back in the day as a custom job!
Here's the original the creator said in the comments it'll be uploaded tomorrow on their channel I think
Etymotic ETY-Plugs High Fidelity Earplugs, Standard Fit, Frost Tip https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0015WJQ7A/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_ZUadCbCTDMEZH
$10 on Amazon. I’ve been wearing these to every concert I’ve gone to for the past two years, having been an avid concert goer for the past 6 years and they seriously changed the game. I can hear the concert better than before, the sound doesn’t blow out nearly as much. I walk out with my ears perfectly fine. Do not jeopardize your hearing when you can invest $10 in these and enjoy the show MORE.
It should be on there. You can also watch it in the FX app (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.fxnetworks.fxnow / https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/fxnow/id767268733?mt=8), but you'll need a cable provider. You can also stream it LIVE in the app as well.
It points back to his line "Made the beat then murdered it: Casey Anthony" on Bonfire
He posted it on a post of a picture of a graffiti that says "I <3 Casey Anthony"
edit: forgot to put what song the line was from.

Does anybody have a copy of the screenplay in its original form instead of how it's presented on genius? (Definitely understand beggars can't be choosers, but figured it was worth asking)
for android people i have an easy thing. Go to settings, security then check the box saying install unknown sources. open this link on your phone will be easier https://apkpure.com/pharos-earth/com.threeamteam.constellation/download?from=details
then open the file and click install done
It's called Rap Genius! It even tells you what each line means :)
I always scroll down to the blue links on the right to see everything sorted by album.
Complex Party House Freestyle (http://genius.com/Childish-gambino-complex-party-house-freestyle-lyrics) was his verse in Late Night in Kauai tweaked a bit (http://genius.com/Childish-gambino-late-night-in-kauai-lyrics)
Here is the best that I have, using the same resource we have some old archives of his site from the clapping for the wrong reasons days as well,
Hey everyone! Thanks so much for the comments on the video. I'm really glad you guys are enjoying it. If you are on a mobile device and can't watch the video, use the Vimeo link here #showdonald
Get a bit torrent client like u torrent, go to https://thepiratebay.org, search up and click on the magnet symbol near the name. Probably ought to use a vpn if you're in the States or UK or something, otherwise you're good to go
Get that Spotify & Hulu combo deal man! $4.99 plus tax! (Assuming you are in school because its a student deal) Heres the link for ya. Btw, I missed Atlanta on tv too and I watched it on hulu. Cannot wait for season two, thats all I gotta say.
pretty sure danny brown opened for him pre-royalty.
chance definitely saw his first mainstream feature on "they don't like me".
"in a couple of years, they'll have to say I birthed a couple careers"
Nope. http://genius.com/Childish-gambino-outside-lyrics since rap is kind of like a poem I'm going to treat it like one. You can find what he said around stanza three.
Edit: okay, I just realized I was on /r/donaldglover instead of /r/nostalgia my bad.
They go for 20$ on sale on their site, but currently out of stock. I put down an Amazon link below of these exact shoes.
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07BL33JDX/ref=cm_sw_r_other_apa_i_m4uZEb4C6K317
Your best bet is to buy a copy of the Because The Internet Vinyl, it includes the screen play and as recently as last week Amazon had it on sale for $15, but even at $33 it's a steal.
Would love for this to be a poster.
EDIT: Reverse google image search, found this https://www.behance.net/gallery/20191791/The-Worst-Guys-Movie-Poster
EDIT 2: That's Kris Wilson I think, same guy who did the bomb ass STN MTN/KAUAI wallpaper.
he uses it in the screenplay multiple times. as well as his short film. Donald created both of these prior to BTI releasing. The Gold Molar is the boys Online handle on Twitter. I honestly don't think this is something to flip out over. Most likely case, either Donald is working on something new or this is a fake account.

Rainmeter ;) https://www.rainmeter.net/ or look up r/Rainmeter/
There are loads of skins up there that you can download. The one you see on the picture is the "Soul" skin.. You are going to have to customize is a little bit though, but it isn't too hard.
Sorry, just saw your comment. It can't be bought new now but I found the highest resolution version available online and then used https://letsenhance.io/ to upscale the image without it looking pixelated. I just printed that myself as a poster at Staples.
No one really knows why.. lol there are some assumptions but he hasn't said why himself yet. and here's the link to where you can read it! http://genius.com/albums/Childish-gambino/Because-the-internet-screenplay
(I think someone posted on here a pdf of it too)
I went to a really prude middle school, and the only black kid in my grade was playing his rap playlist. Sweatpants happened to be on there, and I loved it. I proceeded to Spotify the whole album, and was hooked. I am now the #36 'Bino scholar on Genius, and the #1 STN MTN/Kauai scholar.
Sorry if this is a noob question but where can you search to see official album pressings. Asking now because I was searching the sub with about the same question as OP over this link: https://www.amazon.com/Awaken-My-Love-LP/dp/B0711VDYSH
Pahahahah, well i have been wanting to put my albums on a wall and found these handy clear walla mounts. Heres a link to em if you wanna buy them :). https://www.amazon.com/NIUBEE-Record-Acrylic-Display-Listening/dp/B07QMVKKM7?th=1&psc=1
I looked up lightsaber holder on Amazon. If you wanna set it up you'll need a drill tho. They work very well and so far seem 100% stable. Here's the one I bought
Lorell Stylish Poster Frame, 18 x 24 (49213) https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B07K6TYK93/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_ulITDbZDJ3B4J
It’s not a conventional frame but I think it looks good and it’s miles cheaper than any others I found
The bobble head?
Or if you are in Aus, Ozziecollectables, Davey Boys Toys.. those sorts of stores.
As someone who has been regularly attending concerts for the past 7 years, 100% yes. Not only does it protect your ears, it sounds better. I never go to shows without them now. I can still hear my friend if I’m with them, I can hear the music perfectly fine, I just don’t have the low frequencies berating my ear drums and I leave the show with little to no ringing. I got these on amazing for $13 and they’re perfect. To you, and to everybody, WEAR EAR PROTECTION. You’ll thank yourself later in the future.

I bought this one after it was posted yesterday. I like how it represents his work as an artist as well as an actor. I'd love a Pharos shirt!
Thanks for the help! I thought they were kind of a true part of the album, as spotify features them on the "deluxe edition" I'm actually from Germany, but even on Amazon.com I couldnt find it. Here's the Amazon.de link I'm talking about I'll just let this stay up, maybe someone has an answer for it. Thanks again guys!
Yeah 3.5 to 3.5. It's one of those old tape recorders kind of like this one not the same model though.
