You can use youtube-dl (works fine on Linux, but can be installed on Windows too). youtube-dl
Then use this command:
youtube-dl -ciw ytuser: https://www.youtube.com/user/EthosLab -f bestvideo+bestaudio
That will download all 2113 Ethos videos (to the current working directory) in the best quality.
I'd be very surprised if Etho didn't at least try it out, as despite the Hytale devs not wanting to be judged as a Minecraft clone or killer, there's no doubt it was inspired by it and caters to a lot of the same audience, including fans here.
What will keep Etho engaged and coming back to Hytale is it offering lots of ways to get creative within the confines of the game, while allowing him to overcome stylistic, technical and unique challenges. We don't know if there's any sort of redstone equivalent yet, but the world generation is looking amazing so far and is practically begging for some mancave adventures.
The description below uses other English pronunciations to translate - so could be problematic to understand if the examples are not clear, but here I think are two of the common English versions according to http://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/lava:
*(US), (UK) IPA(key): /ˈlɑːvə/
*(Canada) IPA(key): /ˈlɑːvə/, /ˈlævə/
Where:
* 'ɑː' sounds like the "a" in "father, palm".
* 'ə' sounds like the "a" in "about".
* 'æ' sounds like the "a" in "cat, bat".
It sounds like Etho says 'lævə' which is a pronunciation in Canadian English, but not in UK or US.
Edit: I cannot figure out editing of reddit at all....
Edit again: Fun site (totally unofficial translations but) http://www.forvo.com/word/lava/
Considering this is minecraft, maybe the correct pronunciation is the Swedish version on that site. :)
I have this thing set up on my phone. Works like a charm, and, in my experience, comes in before the unreliable YouTube notification. IFTTT is pretty cool.
Edit: Sky Factory #11 just came in! :D
I somehow feel obliged to drop this link here: The madman must be stopped

this cannot be a coincidence. Just as they talk about who did the E-Pranker thing, Zisteau joins... LOLOLOLOLOLOLOL edit: timestamp is 10:47 on the bdubs reaction
Well, it works for me on both iceweasel and chromium including when I'm in incognito mode, so I really don't know what's wrong... I suppose I should somehow export it to youtube but I couldn't really figure out any easy way to do so. Maybe this link works better?
yet youtube so far has decided to let everyone upload as many videos as they want, even if no one watches them... could it be that people who produce quality/niche content instead of dumb stuff that gets millions of views are the people who actually attract people to get on and stay on the platform, because people wouldn't go to youtube if they knew that the platform has nothing to offer except braindead mass appeal bs? You know, even though those videos get millions of views, any individual viewer almost certainly likes to watch other stuff too than just that which is most popular.
Btw there is an alternative, Peertube. You have to pay for hosting yourself but the videos are distributed among hosts such that hosts aren't on their own, and it uses WebRTC torrent-like technology to distribute parts of the video from peer (=viewer) to peer to reduce server load. There are also no ads but a lot of quality content creators make the majority of their income from stuff like patreon these days anyway, and on the plus side you gain total control over your content.
Get an external soundcard to test it if you want. I use this one, https://www.amazon.com/Behringer-UCA202-Audio-Interface/dp/B000KW2YEI
It doesn't have the best input and output slots though but it is simple and sounds great.
They make a XLR to 3.5mm adapter example, this may work for limited cases where the xlr mic being used doesn't need to much phantom power, mabey for a dynamic microphone; however, a condenser microphone generally demands much more phantom power since it requires power to capture anything.
