YES on the mattress topper! i lived in a dorm and the mattresses are not comfy and i had a mattress topper (this one: https://www.amazon.com/Starcast-Mattress-Cotton-8-21Inch-Alternative/dp/B0812YSTD2) and it made a world of a difference! i would definitely suggest the one i linked, my friend actually had one that was thicker than mine and she agreed that mine was more comfy and my family also loved it so much, they all got ones for their beds.
It appears to be close to 'Armada Bold' with some coloring effects. Can't find an exact match.
Hey, I work at the book store in the course materials department. You are going to need the stuff for the CHM classes. All the materials are required. ENC it's dependent on your TA. Some require both books for reading while others only require the On Writing Book. The MAC book I hear various things from students. Some buy it because they know they personally need it, other kids that are strong in math don't bother. The nutrition class I believe uses an online access code off the top of my head, which if that's the case you'll need since homework is done though access codes sometimes. I can't recall what your PET class uses off the top of my head, going to class is a safe bet.
You can always order your books online and use the in store pick up option, go to class, and as long as you don't break the shrink wrap of the books you can return them for a full refund during the week of drop/add.

FSU has a Cisco one, but supposedly, from what I found, it’s limited to faculty, staff, departments, and registered guests. I’m not sure if they’re planning on opening one up to students.
This is the site where I found this info.
That said, if you want one that definitely works well, Windscribe is relatively inexpensive. I’ve used it for over a year now. I’ve also heard good things on NordVPN.
well, i just remembered that you are probably not 21... BUT! First Friday is in the Art Park at Railroad square on the first Friday of every month. The music is not always the best but there is (or used to be?) a drum circle. GET KRISHNA LUNCH by the BHAKTI YOGA CLUB IT'S SO GOOD. Always lots of art and lots of people.
The Engine Room is 18+ but depending on what you're into, they probably have something at some point, keep up with the lineup.
Take advantage of the Club Downunder Shows if there is anything you like there. Also, the on-campus movie theatre has Film Committee meetings if you're into movies. I met a lot of my good friends there way back in the day (don't really know who's there anymore..)
Another spot that is nice to hang is All Saints cafe down in that area. They don't have live music or anything but it's a great place for meeting people and REALLY good vegan food!
With recital credits and all that, you'll be getting a lot of free live music anyway, just try to find the stuff you like and map it out early to get your 15. I had a job all 4 years, so I know it's a giant pain in the ass to get those 15 recital credits.
if you have a fake ID: Waterworks on Monday Nights has live jazz (sometimes by my friends that are in the CoM) Fermentation Lounge https://www.facebook.com/FermentationLounge is a sweet little bar in the All Saints area that has live music just about every night.. bluegrass, jazz, i think there was a poppy-punk band that played there?
OK i hope this is helpful and that it's not a lot of stuff you've already heard. Tallahassee can be pretty awesome, enjoy your time!
this is exactly why governor Scott's blue ribbon task force's recommendations are bullshit. they are a bunch of suggested "reforms" that create funding policy based on cost efficiencies, and "measures" of return on investment. as though universities are cutting faculty and programs because they do not spend their slashed budgets responsibly enough. it is also a massive power shift to the board of governors.
A lot of stores in the Governor's Marketplace are hiring. I know Michael's and I think Sports Authority are. Both have online applications. Delivery drivers for Papa Johns on Tennessee and maybe Jimmy John's. Also, here's a site I used while I was looking. http://www.indeed.com/m/jobs?q=Part+Time&l=Tallahassee%2C+FL
The program is iSpy. Other than being C#, it's "open source". I'd like to take the simplest version (iSpy Server -- which is a stripped down version so the code is easier on the eyes) and adapt it to LINQ to SQL or Entity Framework to use SQL Server. From there, it could have a variety of uses beyond the original. It's a great program (well put together from a multitude of other open source projects) and the primary coder is currently very active and makes frequent improvements and bug fixes.
This project could be a very good entrée into health care/educational software/programming.
Nope. The news that it's apparently terrible makes me real sad. Duncan Jones is a great director and I usually look forward to his films. But this just looks like a steaming turd of a flick.
Here's an item you may want

Hey so I had the same issue and I bought this. I’ll attach a link. You just put it under the handle and then they won’t be able to open the door.
Rain in Tally typically isn't an issue; it doesn't behave like it does in Orlando (1 random storm cloud rolling through every day).
We might have been in Tally at the same time this summer, b/c it was mostly rainy/overcast when I was there for nearly a week not long ago.
Wear flipflops or Keen style sandals maybe in the warmer weather, if you want. I don't think I ever had to wear a waterproof boot there in colder weather, honestly. Get a good umbrella. Here's the one I swear by( just get golf sized, vented): https://www.amazon.com/Golf-Size-Vented-Canopy-Compact-Umbrella/dp/B005FOJCFK/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1534885235&sr=8-4&keywords=totes+umbrella+vented
I'm asking 180, since it still goes for 250 new/ 190 used on Amazon.
Yeah, already not on good terms with them. The people before us haven't canceled their service yet so we can't start ours and Comcast can't do anything about it.
Other than that I'm looking into buying this modem. We're looking to just get their internet package, so this should work, right?
if you're still in tallahassee, i recommend visiting the FSU Career Center. they can assist you with every step of the job search process, from identifying what sort of work settings for which you're best suited, matching majors to career areas, writing a resume/cover letter, shadowing others who are currently working in your area of interest, and mock interviews to negotiating offers and benefits.
What are some of your favorite FSU experiences/hobbies/subjects?
I read this book, Smart Moves for Liberal Arts Grads: Finding a Path to Your Perfect Career, right after I finished undergrad and I found it to be very insightful and encouraging and it gave me a new perspective on the job search process, grad school, and how to find a career that is personally fulfilling. Here it is on amazon- http://www.amazon.com/Smart-Moves-Liberal-Arts-Grads/dp/1580087094
Had that happen to my old laptop. Ended up with this puppy right here. Works like a charm.
Yeah he truly is the best professor here. I had him for Ecstatic Religion and Religion in Africa. He can be tough, but it's for your own good and I've never seen any professor care as much about their students as he does. He really is a gem here and like you I wish they gave him more classes. If anyone that's had him is interested you can buy his book on Amazon
Cool. These are also in that Tallahassee history book.
You can park in the law school parking lot as well--if I recall, the gate is open most of the time. About checking out books, I don't see any reason why non-law students wouldn't be able to check it out, since all they do is scan your student ID anyway.
Are you just looking for a general health law book? I took a Health Law class a while back, and we used this thriller, which turned out to be a pretty good book, and has a comprehensive public health law section.
