Capture One Pro is probably the closest relative to Lightroom in terms of functionalities, at least that I know of. It's a bit pricey but it's a one-time purchase, not a running subscription.
There is a free version for Fuji owners, but it's a dumbed down version of the Pro one. Might be worth a shot at least!
It's because those presets don't use the develop -> film simulation options (like Classic chrome, astia, provia and so on). Hence why tey're not that useful for Fujifilm raw files. I made a set of presets that are based on the fujifilm film simulations, if you want to try them they're free and available here: https://sellfy.com/p/IAOJ/ (just enter 0 as the price and you can download them)
I think B&H is just on crack. Amazon is still $1099.
Edit: Oh and this the graphite version that has had a $200 premium. Looks like B&H ran out of stock and reverted back to release price.
This site was being passed around here on Reddit a little while ago. Free, web-based photo editor with a lot of the same features and UI as Photoshop.
I bought these center pinch caps from Amazon, they're plastic, but have a far stronger grip than the Fuji ones. They sell the caps in multiple sizes, I have the 52mm version for my XF 35mm 1.4, and the 58mm version for my XF 18-55mm.:
and dang, I might have to grab this one that charges two batteries!
btw amazon pretty much has everything for Fuji X but I did have to go to ebay to find a cheaper thumb grip made specifically for the T10
Not OP but this is one that I use - bought from amazon UK and I use it at home in the UK for all of my charging and have used it in Australia too. Will work in Italy, charges iPhone, android, the X-T2 and my USB NP-W126 charger fine. The heads switch out so you can just take the one you need with you.
I was using this one. K&F Concept Camera Lens Adapter Ring for Nikon G AF-S Mount Lens to Fujifilm Fuji FX X-Pro1 X-M1 X-A1 X-E1 Adapter https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00OONK89W/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_WUSFCbR5PN5S5
I do not know for certain if your Android phone will detect the SD card in the camera (although I believe that it will), but I wanted to mention that it would be helpful if the USB cable you purchase is USB on-the-go (OTG)-capable.
If your phone does not automatically detect the SD card while in your camera, you may need to install a file browser app like ES File Explorer and then use it to find the SD card directory. It would then be a matter of copying and pasting your selected photos to your phone's photo directory.
An alternate process would be to connect a USB SD card reader to your phone using the USB OTG cable. You would have to remove the SD card from the camera, of course.
I have this lens. Haven't noticed any distortion, but I usually dont take photos of buildings and things with straight lines. There is some chromatic aberrasjon though, but its not as bad as people say imo.
I use Lightroom which automatically removes CA, so I guess that is impacts my experience of this lens.
I cropped a photo I shot the other day to show what the chromatic aberration looks like. This is the top left of the frame, shot at f/4.
Without the CA removed: https://cubeupload.com/im/Eirik/DSF9598.jpg

Hrm did you set a minimum shutter speed? I haven't had any problems. I shot this album mostly in full sun. If you look at the metadata, you can see that the iso stayed at 200, unless the shutter fell to my minimum of 1/125, at which point the iso would ratchet up accordingly. Check your minimum shutter, or you might have it looked at. https://www.flickr.com/photos/thomhsu/sets/72157643928241983/
You need a Hex editor to edit the LR profiles. I used Hex Fiend. You can import those after either in CC/Mobile or Classic. I had the same problem with after getting the xpro3 and x100v.
All it took was finding the xpro1 and x100t profiles and doing a search and replace on camera names.
Dm if you have questions.
FWIW, one option for an alternate hood setup on that lens that I like on mine is a 62mm screw in aluminum hood - a 67mm pinch type lens cap snaps right on it - No fuss, plenty of protection. The same setup works equally well on my XF 90/2.
I personally use this grip for my X-T3. I think it's also compatible with the X-T2. Whichever you get, it does a nice amount of extra grip for larger lenses. I mostly use it when I have my Fuji 50-140 f/2.8 mounted on, or my big and very heavy Canon FD 55mm f/1.2. It's still not enough to be holding big telephotos one-handed (which you shouldn't do anyway) but it does add quite a nice amount of support.
You can also look for third-party X-T3 grips from Meike, Fotasy and JJC which are much cheaper, well built and compatible with the X-T2. The only downside is that the rubber grip material will not be the same as on the camera, but that's why it's cheaper.
I do recommend a grip though, as it can give you the extra support you need, while not increasing size and weight too much.
Unconventional “strap system”
I simply cut the lanyard part off, and used the small loop with the cord.
Not really meant for camera’s.
Long story short..
I received a PS Bagworks strap for Christmas. It only came with metal rings, which don’t leave much room for your hands, and was a little more difficult to remove.
SO after some googling, I found these little guys, took a chance and attached them to separate my strap loop from the camera.
They work great.
Coincidentally the color scheme on them is black with orange accents, an exact match to my x-t100.

Ayeee another X-t20 fam! I don't plan on doing long exposure longer than 30 seconds atm, but I'll add it to my list of gear to buy. I found this one on amazon, but it says it's for Sony. Does it still work for the X-t20?
Also, I'm not sure what an LR Calculator is for. I googled LR meaning but I get different answers like Light Room, Light Refraction, etc. when it comes to photography.
Are you wanting something full height, or would something like a Joby Gorillapod SLR fit your needs? That info might help to point in a better direction. Also, is there a certain head format you are wanting, or do you plan to attach the camera directly to the tripod itself?
You can find similar things to this on amazon for sub 50 dollars. https://smile.amazon.com/Cowboystudio-Complete-4-section-Tripod-Quick-Release/dp/B004XWIT04/ref=sr_1_42?s=photo&ie=UTF8&qid=1494446035&sr=1-42&keywords=camera+tripod&refinements=p_n_feature_keywords_browse-bin%3A3495707011%2Cp_...
I bought this one on Amazon for my messenger bag. Carry my X-T20 with 18-55 attached, a 135mm 3.5 and a 50mm 1.7 plus a lens cloth and a couple of filters. The top flap is actually just Velcro’d on which I like because I took it off. Decent padding too.
I'm using a cheap adapter from Amazon (https://www.amazon.co.uk/Adapter-Concept-Aperture-Control-Fujifilm/dp/B00OONK89W). Generally finds it works nicely, the big downside is that the aperture control is very course, wide open to stopped down only has about 6 clicks.
That's my setup. I have since added a 27 pancake for walk-around and 50-230 for travel both purchased cheap on ebay. The 18-55 is fantastic and stays on most of the time. The X-E3 is perfect for my needs.
I used to shoot 5-10k photos a year on my Canon 7D when I was younger but iPhone cameras have gotten so good I didn't bring my SLR and heavy L lenses with my places anymore. I missed the real camera experience though so I traded in my canon gear a couple years ago for the X-E3 to bring with me on days I feel like shooting.
It's a lot of fun and packs up pretty small. If you save up for a second lens, I realllly love what the 23 f2 produces but I already have the 27 and it's just a light hobby at this point so I don't own it...yet.
I'm spoiled by the autofocus improvements and better viewfinder in the X-T3 I use at work but it's not that different, especially if you're starting out and like the rangefinder form factor.
I like that it can bluetooth to your phone for geotag info that actually updates since I really like being able to search photo library by location. I got the little thumb grip for it just to help one handed operation
You can also charge it over micro USB so that helps travel-wise not having to pack a separate battery charger or just topping it up off a phone charger out and about.
No problem! For sure, it's just an extra tool that you can use to practice and get different perspective shots. I bought Gobe ND Filters from Amazon, which came in a set of three different filters. It came with a 3-stop (ND8), 6-stop (ND64), and 10-stop (ND1000) filters. There are other filters that people also recommend, but these were in my price point and they work well for me! Also, double check the filter ring size of the lens that you want put them on. For example, the 18-55mm lens has a filter ring size of 58mm.
Edit: Here's a link to the filters that I bought:
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B06XVC8W81/ref=cm_sw_r_sms_apa_i_F1JgEbZFETAD0
Yes. Have fun: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.fujifilm_dsc.app.remoteshooter
There's one for iOS too I think.
Be warned, however, that it needs major attention from somebody who knows about UI guidelines. It also has tended to crash on me, but when it does work it is extremely cool.
I have this one. I use it on my Fuji cameras all the time. tbh, any brand of FD-FX adapter will work, they're all pretty much the same and will have identical results.
Yes, the aperture works. You need to have it in the Open position to mount the lens, and then switch to Locked position to shoot.
I have only added two accessories:
The Nisi UV filter:

Thank you for this.
I bought it from Amazon, which says it's compatible with "all x series mirrorless cameras". I'll take a look at getting an adapter. Really appreciate your help.
I got one of these for my xt-3 and it works well. I checked everything thing out with a volt meter before putting it in the camera and it held a stable 9 volts.

Haoge has one on Amazon with a lens cap for $35. Just ordered it, in fact.

Thank you. I used a reverse mount adapter (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07QH75Z96/ref=cm_sw_r_awdo_navT_g_PKQ1BPW8F6GA2ZCQXFSC) which screws into the filter mount and let's you use the lens in the reversed position. That turns the lens into a macro lens but also takes away the ability to use the autofocus (there are some more expensive reverse mount adapters that are compatible with af). So you need a lot of patience, as you focus by moving the camera, but with some practice you can get some pretty nice results basically for free if you have some suitable lenses laying around. But I can't say much for how the lens handles in the 'normal' position as I don't have a adapter that fits...
Nice shot! I tried the same shot with an XE2. I had much less luck regarding the light. But the main reason why I post this is because I think it's very interesting to see the difference the focal length makes. I guess you image was taken @roundabout 55 mm? Mine was taken @ 23mm, you can see how the mountains look much closer in your shot. https://photos.google.com/share/AF1QipNmiwMrSuOnBCzj2p4-yMms9PZz4Z0Mq3KoL5WfHLb0KCCjJqvrPkK_vDqr3vFDOQ?key=NXlCXzdUeXkya1d3MkQtd2NPQTZudnBQLTlXT3V3
We made this Chocolate Flan for Christmas Eve dinner.
After baking the flan and taking it out most of the sugar hard crack remains behind.
Here is another image I took of the sugar.
No. I've done it myself since I got my first DSLR back in 2006. I now use this sensor cleaner for my Fujis, if necessary. It's very rare I actually use it though. 99% of the time I use my rocket blower.
I've never sent my camera in for a full service. If I did, I'd do it because I was in a very harsh environment (Sahara, Everest, etc.). If not, I wouldn't bother.
I wonder if anyone has tried fitting this for the 14mm (and it says 18-55) on the 33mm. I doubt it would be very functional for a 33mm. Some lenses with the same filter thread can't use the same fuji hoods though.
OK, so what do you have to know about it? I don't think it's related to the grip. Obviously, don't damage it, but I assume you can remove the grip and cover up the hole.
I have no idea if it's legit, but you might want to look into the $13 service manual for the camera here: https://sellfy.com/p/j6C7/
Both Capture One and Lightroom have versions of the in-camera film simulations. These can be applied to the raw files to get you close. There is also X RAW Studio from Fuji that allows you to edit the raw using your cameras processor. There's a free lite version of Capture One if you want to try them out.
Download Capture One Express and use that, then export to a .tiff or something.

Well, bit late but your story did prompt me to submit a few images to Unsplash for the contest on the last day. Didn't realize who you were till after I clicked through to your site and realized I'd seen your images before on Fujifeed when I was researching before buying into Fuji. Fantastic work and really remember the before and after with that fence. Enjoying your insta as well.
On a side note, the referral link for the Fujifeed submissions was a bit tricky and wouldn't apply if you clicked "submit another" after your initial submission. Or signing up. I suspect there may be a few images on Unsplash that were intended for the Fujifeed contest but not submitted with the referral URL.
Thanks for taking the time to respond!
Software won't be much help if the files got corrupted while writing and lots of data is missing or broken. If it's just a file system error you could try something like http://www.cgsecurity.org/wiki/PhotoRec
No worries! I forgot to add the link to the blackout sticker I use.
Thanks!
They're not the official fuji ones, they're a cheap ebay/amazon set.
That said, they're the type with the electrical connections for autofocus etc. I had tried some "dumb" ones in the past with little success.
These ones work very well. While using them you can focus much closer, but you lose the distance focusing, so when they're attached you can't focus further than roughly 1m. Strangely the wider you set the lens, the closer you can get. 18mm is a bit too close, 55mm doesn't really change much from default. I tend to set around 35mm for a usable working distance. Autofocus and stabilisation works well, and really helps.
Here's the link - https://smile.amazon.co.uk/dp/B014EV3Q4W/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_fabc_PVEDKNYMG4WKXGEX1KWY?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
They're not available anymore (i got them in 2016), but you should find similar stuff in the suggestions.
Do not remove that eyelet. It's there because the outer metal is soft and will be worn down over time, even by the peak anchors. The eyelet is made of a more durable metal to protect the lug from wear. I recommend getting a set of small rings to use instead. I've used these in the past: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B071VG8Z12 as well as some oval-shaped ones that I can't seem to find right now.
Has anyone had much experience with Photo Mate R3? I'm trying it out, and it looks like a viable one-time purchase RAF editor (in-app purchase of $9.XX). It's a little sluggish, and the interface isn't amazing, but it seems to be working okay.
I'll keep fiddling with it, but if anyone has any other suggestions for Android apps, I'm open to trying them!
I use this one

I really like it, however some screws came loose and it completely fell apart towards the end of the day at the zoo. I did notice it becoming loose over time, but I think what did it in was me dropping it with my lens the previous day.
I’d probably find another just in case, but for $20 its been pretty solid. Could just have been a fluke

I used this exact one! Glad I could inspire you. It’s definitely been a lot of fun, and challenging!

It's this hood. Or potentially one of the cheaper copies.
I picked up:

There are probably better, but this is good on batteries and small. It comes with a diffuser cap, but I picked up:
For a little bit more length and direction.
I know this is a month old comment, but wanted say that I posted a review with images along with other reviewers on the Amazon page. Let me know if you have any specific questions or want me to do a test of some sort!
I really like the crumpler camera pouch/insert. I have an older model but it looks like the function is the same - amazon link
Small, like the drawstring close, configurable, the external mesh pockets are great for holding an extra battery, charger, small polarizer etc. I carry my x-t20, 16mm f1.4 and 23mm f2 most days. Sometimes swap in the 18-55 etc.
I love the enthusiasm, but I want to speak to the X-T3/56 pairing which I have. It's not instant if you're going from infinity to close focus, or vice-versa. Moving within a central range is pretty fast, but yeah going from one end to the other is still like a full second. I don't find that it hurts me in the field, since the focus point stays somewhere in the middle. I can shoot street with it without much trouble because of this. It definitely works well and I am enjoying the lens (just got it 2 months ago).
Look into an aftermarket hood, as the stock one is really long and nearly doubles the size of the lens. I have this one: JJC 23mm f/1.4 lens cap. It fits the 56 as well since they have the same 62mm filter size. As for a filter, I got a B+W XS-Pro Clear filter (make sure you didn't get a fake - Google it to see examples) as this glass is something I want to protect. It hasn't appeared to have degraded image quality yet, compared to a walkabout shoot I did without a filter.
They seem to go for $750 used. I know that's hefty but it does seem to be worth it. You can also finance one at Amazon/BestBuy for 12 months with no interest! Paying it off over a year is a lot easier.
Get one and then post some photos taken with it! :)
I've never used one, but you could always try one of these puppies: Amazon
Another option is to buy mats if you plan on framing and hanging. Currently, I have 12x18 prints inside 18x24 frames: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0763VC1TP/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00__o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

> I've heard a few reports of the metal rings supplied wearing through the lugs eventually. Is that a genuine issue?
So Fuji lugs are actually mostly made of a very soft metal, so to compensate for that they put in a sleeve inside the lug that is made of much more durable material. A while back, there was a 'tip' for peak design users to push that sleeve out so that the peak design anchors can fit through the lug. This is the only reported case of lug wear I've seen for newer bodies.
> Does anyone have any recommendations for quick(ish) release camera straps that don't use metal rings (other than peak design)?
There are some cheap alternatives that use plastic buckles (like this: https://www.amazon.com/OP-TECH-USA-Utility-Adjust/dp/B01C5TE1NA), but I fear the buckles are more likely to wear than the peak design straps. You might consider looking at the blackrapid strap (there are knockoffs too). Instead of the lugs, they attach to the tripod mount... so may offer you some increased flexibility. It's also pretty quick to attach/remove but you have to make sure you do so securely.
> I've started looking at mini karabiner type clips to see if I can rig something up myself but need to find decent, strong cord to attach to the lugs themselves.
You're probably going to want to look for what is called "accessory cord" in the rock climbing world. You can find different diameters/colors and they are all rated by the amount of weight they can handle. You can buy custom lengths in most outdoor shops that sell climbing gear. In the US, REI is your best bet. You can also find precut lengths on amazon. I think your challenge with this approach will be finding the right carabiner... large/strong enough to handle the camera weight, but small enough to be unobtrusive and not scratch up your camera body. Do report back if you find anything though =]
Here are 4 common lighting setups, two require 2 flashes, the other 2 use a single flash, but one needs it off camera. I'd say your current flash is suitable to keep in your camera bag for a fill flash, but nothing in the studio. Godox flashes also trigger other Godox flashes, so two of them and a Canon flash sync cable would allow you to do all of these setups, and many more.
I bought this one for my XT-4 I tend to fidget with stuff and lost my original one in the first week, but I used this one for a big hiking trip I did in Colorado and it worked wonderfully.
Hey thanks for your advice. I ended up ordering a refurbished X-T30 (literally 10 minutes ago) for £750 including the 18-55 lens. I'll use money saved to buy accessories.
The smaller form factor definitely sold it for me. For hiking, I'm ordering a backpack strap clip and a waterproof shell; hoping this should be enough protection from light drizzle.
Can't wait to get my hands on it!

But the one I use is Golla Salmiac because it's compact and I don't carry extra battery or lens. I don't use a camera strap. It fits the X-T20 with XF 35/f2 or XC 16-50 kit lens or adaptor+Pentax 50/1.4
My camera is always in the bag when I am not using it. It has decent cushioning so I don't have to be gentle with it. This has a magnetic flap for easy access but it has a velcro locking that you can use too. I use the velcro to hold a mini tripod.
Can't imagine a smaller bag than this.
I recommend Think Tank Mirrorless Mover 20. Well made, it has decent cushioning, magnetic flap let's you access camera easily, it comes with an optional rain cover that you can pull out.
I'm a long-time Minolta fanboy and holdout. Not counting the film days and digitally speaking, 5D/7D/A700/A850 and some ancient Minolta MF/Maxxum AF glass with some contemporary Sony/Zeiss lenses peppered in. Thought long and hard for a long while - chose X-mount over E-mount this go around.
I've been having fun with my Rokkors, but missed the sight of the Maxxum lenses that stuck with me all these years. Found this adapter, thought I'd give it a whirl. 1/500 ISO1600, guessing this is right around f/2. RAW processed in digiKam, though I'm still trying to get the hang of handling RAFs. I'm not terribly fond of how the lens rendered the OOF elements, but it was fun shooting with it again.
Have a great week everyone.
I bought the official grip from Fuji (MHG-XT10), which was painfully expensive. It marries perfectly to the body, though, in terms of size, weight, materials, comfort - it makes a big difference in handling and looks great. At the time, the only other options I knew about were cheap looking plasticy grips off Ebay.
However, if I was buying a grip today, I would probably go for the recently released Meike XT20G, which looks to be a copy of the Fuji grip at less than half the price.
This book has a lot of good tips and suggestions on how to setup the Function buttons, some useful default settings, etc for the camera. Definitely helps with getting used to what all the camera is capable of.
The 23 f/2 + XT1 is my everyday, everything kit. I love it, its so light and non obstructive. Its however not a pancake. Go with the 27 if you want a pancake. I do walk around all day with the 23, strap around my neck. I use this strap. It sits high on my chest and keeps the camera in place for the most part. You'll be happy either way. I'm constantly impressed by this little setup I use.
Don't know what ops using, but I bought this cheap guy off of amazon for a shallow depth shoot and it worked perfectly well, although I was just nervous about it the whole time: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00169HXW2/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_fLiVzbGQEF1FA
I got this Haoge LH-X49W lens hood for my X100F, and it fits inside the normal leather case for the X100F (since it has a little more room than the previous camera case).
Domke F-5XB is my goto
XT10 with lens; spare battery/cards; other lens; wallet, keys, bottle of water.... perfect for a day out in a city IMO.
Is a backpack/knapsack not an option? I ask, because I've tried a few camera bags over time and they're always a bit fiddly when walking about, particularly on hikes.
I snagged this: https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B009GA6CNY/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 but there are a tonne like it and you can pick the size you'd like. I just drop it into one of the several backpacks I've used for carry-ons to house my laptops when travelling on business and now I've got a "camera backpack" that cost me $26 CAD.
Food for thought anyway.
Hi sagur, I shot this at ISO 100, at f/16 with 5 second exposure using a cheap variable GOBE ND filter from Amazon. I set the filter to max. According to https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01F5BUX28/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 the max would be 9 stops.
Get the $8 two pack (VKO, I think) on Amazon. Comes with a little gasket that keeps it from falling off so easily, and if it does, oh well.
(2 Pack)Dark Red Soft Metal Shutter Release Button Brass for Fujifilm X100F X-T20 X-PRO2 XPRO-1 X10 X20 X30 X100 X100T X100S X-E1 X-E2 X-E2S X-T10 STX https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01N09PYTQ/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apap_Fo2syxv92Qsf1
It'll probably work in a pinch if you bring plenty of batteries (or use rechargeables), but it might be worth researching to see if you can get something more like a GPS logger (as opposed to a navigation unit). Maybe something like this, that just logs GPS data and spits out a GPX file, but I don't know much about it or how well it'll work.
I use my Fuji for a lot of video work so I have a lot of experience with variable NDs. In my experience, the best one to get (for the price) is the Tiffen Variable ND. I also have a GenusTech variable ND/polarizer that I love and is fantastic, but also really expensive (about $250 I believe) and kind of hard to find apparently. I bought mine from The Camera Store in Calgary.
Fantastic. I'm taking this combo to a zoo and safari later in the month. Not worried about the weight when what you end up with is so spectacular.
FYI this bag fits the x-t2 and 50-140 with the hood reversed perfectly. It expands 3" in case you were to ever get the 100-400. ;)

I've had good luck with this one: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01IJZKCSC/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o05_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1
FujiFilm compatibility isn't usually listed clearly; as long as the output is a 2.5mm plug it will work with FujiFilm.
Awesome thanks. Im thinking of getting an off brand adapter and hood, is it safe to think that itll still fit on x100f, considering its the same lens? https://www.amazon.ca/JJC-LH-JX100-Adapter-Finepix-AR-X100/dp/B0059VMH5G/ref=cm_cr_arp_d_product_top?ie=UTF8
Just asking to make sure... Cheers
Be very careful with vintage flashes on modern cameras, the voltages are crazy different and can fry sensitive digital electronics. If you want to pay the postage you can have my MK-320 that I used when I had the x100s. (It doesn't work with my x-t2 and I bought a used ef-x20 so I'm covered.)
I got them all on Amazon

Search for Meike 28 or 35 or 50. They'll come right up.
I have the Rokinon 12 f2... awesome lens!
Based on dimensions, maybe a Pelican 1050.
Before I switched to the X-Pro2, I was very undecided of buying this one. I've been also checking ebay for older hoods that would fit.

Also, there's this package deal on Amazon: Yongnuo YN560-TX LCD Wireless Manual Flash Controller + 2pcs YN-560 IV Manual Flash Speedlite https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00PVSW0LS/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_o5pGybP265Y62
I just started using this 64gb 150mb/s card for my slot 1, and an older 32gb 95mb/s card for slot 2. My setup is RAWs in slot 1, JPGs in slot 2. I haven't done any 4k with it but it has performed great so far.
I used to own this one

Used it for video and photo, nice filter with no colour cast, get a stepdown ring so it'll fit on your lens, a bigger filter means you can adapt it to fit on a wider range of lenses
The adapter above has no aperture of its own, and no aperture control, since it has no electrical contacts. You would need a Canon body to adjust the aperture as needed. You would need to use manual focus on the lens and turn on focus peeking.
The adapter below has a built-in aperture, but it does not control the one in the lens:
One of the complaints I've heard about adapters with built-in apertures, is they introduce heavy vignetting as you stop down.
Do you really need the Metabones Speed Booster? I'm not too familiar with the speed booster, but this works fine for my manual FD glass. (This is the Minolta version)
