Here's the bundle showing the game as a standalone purchase, with no paid DLC or season pass included:
http://store.steampowered.com/sub/85499
The only thing the bundle seems to include is access to free cosmetic DLC, already included in the game:
https://steamdb.info/sub/85499/apps/
Looks like they're doing this not only to hide the ABYSMAL rating of the game, as well as the incredibly negative reviews, but they're also trying to sell it like it's a massive deal to people who may not be paying attention. If you haven't bought this game, you shouldn't.
So there's this metroidvania called Aquaria , it's pretty good, some puzzle are a bit weird and there is some map design that I found confusing, but overall it's an excellent and quite original game. I'm not sure if what you play is a mermaid, but well it's an underwater creature with humanoid shape.
In case you don't know, a Metroidvania is a game like metroid or castlevania, where you are "free" to move around in a map, except you'll unlock powers that will allow you access to new areas and shortcuts. Here there's even some crafting (of cakes, that will give you HP back or buffs) with some alga, shells and other loot you'll get in the ocean.
(You can probably buy it much cheaper than 10 in another shop than steam)
The video card requirements for emulation are really low. The one you already have should be enough. The real problem is your CPU might be a bit of a bottleneck:
http://pcsx2.net/getting-started.html
Minimum (most games will be unplayable slow)
Windows/Linux OS
CPU: Any that supports SSE2 (Pentium 4 and up, Athlon64 and up)
GPU: Any that supports Pixel Shader model 2.0, except Nvidia FX series (broken SM2.0, too slow anyway)
512MB RAM (note Vista needs at least 2GB to run reliably)
Recommended:
Windows Vista / Windows 7 (32bit or 64bit) with the latest DirectX
CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo @ 3.2 GHz or better OR i3/i5/i7 @ 2,8 GHz or better OR AMD Phenom II @ 3,2 GHz or better
GPU: 8800gt or better (for Direct3D10 support)
RAM: 1GB on Linux/Windows XP, 2GB or more on Vista / Windows 7
Best thing to do is just try the emulation first and see what kind of results you get.
I drop by IGDB from time to time. They have a new releases and a popular games section, a feed with articles (of varying quality) from a bunch of gaming sites (of varying quality), and you can 'hype' games you want to play and it'll give you a notification when they come out.
I gotta say, he had some pretty good points in this video. I'd only argue that the biggest issue with boycotting digital is that it tends to be a bit much more cost efficient to buy games digitally, especially with the great deals that apply on regular sales. I mean yes, this mostly goes for indie games, but there's almost never a physical version for those anyhow, and if there is, the prices are jacked up to borderline irrational rates. Don't get me wrong, I'm totally a fan of physical gaming, and if physical copies of indie games were cheaper I'd definitely buy them.
The only maneuver I have seen around this is through getting DRM free copies of games through sites like itch.io and GOG. But I'm not much of a PC gamer, as I only have a MacBook and don't have the resources for a full-fledged gaming PC, so this doesn't feel totally fair to me. Still, I guess we all have to make compromises somewhere, right? I dunno, this is pretty much turning into a ramble at this point, but I just want to share my genuine feelings here.
Well, I'm not sure if this is the appropriate place, but I recently finished a demo for my visual novel 'Spiritual Matters.'
I published it on Itch.io: https://arjendesign.itch.io/spiritual-matters
And GameJolt: http://gamejolt.com/games/spiritual-matters/155987
I'm looking for feedback.
Battlefield/front will help you get into FPS as individual skill matters less due to the sheer numbers of players and randomness. Battlefront if you like Star Wars (though the game has limited long term appeal to many) or Battlefield if you like modernish combat.
If you're new to gaming - look at bundles to get a lot of games very cheap to see what you might like, such as this one on indiegala. Hatred alone is worth $2 for a laugh while you shoot shit up. One Finger Death Punch too is a really simple but tactile game that's really enjoyable. edit: if you're on PC that is.
>They really need to add a "2" to this game, or give it a subtitle. SuperHot was released in 2014.
Did you actually read the article?
>SUPERHOT grabbed a lot of attention with its playable prototype back in 2014. The game went on to a very successful Kickstarter campaign, raising $250,000 out of its $100,000 goal.
http://superhotgame.com/play-prototype/
The 2014 version isn't the full game. At the end of the prototype, it even hints at there being further development: https://youtu.be/W7qY7s1tCtU?t=652

"Kieren The Game Blogger" starts in 2016 in an alternate universe that seems eerily similar but still different from ours. Esports are more mainstream than how we see them today. It is mainstream enough for teenagers to create an online following within the industry before they've even attended high school; This is very much the case for our main character. Technology has advanced to where evil organizations possess holograms and laser blasters. Not to mention, video game characters cross over into this universe our characters inhabit, confirming the existence of the multiverse.
A father abandoned his family with a dark secret; Ten years later, his son receives unexplainable powers. To the former esports gamer Kieren Freeman aka Kieren The Game Blogger, this now perfectly sums up life. The 14-year-old gamer and his classmates - a glasses-wearing bookworm, a girl-obsessed daredevil along with his older brother who's the complete opposite in nature - experience an adventure only seen in science-fiction: video game characters crossing over into the real world, and an evil organization who are deadset on destroying the universe. The only thing standing in this organization's way is this small group of Texas high schoolers.

While not everyone's cup of tea, I would recommend you check out Extermination. Sure the game might not look much since it was an early title, and it definitely wins a Jill Sandwich in the voice acting department, but it does some interesting things which I don't recall seeing in any other games. It's been almost fifteen years since I played it so I don't know how it stands the test of time, but I do recall that while it wasn't really scary, it was quite an intense game in the way the game worked with the whole infection system.
There's also that Suda 51 game where you are a camera man, don't recall the name, I think it was called Manhattan something, haven't played it though.
I know. Working in IT and was already researching a new open source engine (https://godotengine.org/). I was also a huge fan of Little Big Planet and Dreams.
My partner would not like to see me working more than I already am.
Depends on a lot of things, mainly what video quality you want to stream at. Your upload should be good enough for 720p and 1080p would be fine too if that 11.5Mb/s was consistent.
But all of that is irrelevant if you don't have the hardware to support real-time video encoding. So hopefully you've got a powerful CPU and hopefully GPU and enough RAM too.
Also google is your friend, found this in one second: https://restream.io/blog/what-is-a-good-upload-speed-for-streaming/
To add to this, HON has a bunch of actual office chairs that are legitimately well-made and all day comfortable, with a five year warranty and readily available replacement parts. This one is right under your budget and reasonably stylish to boot. Steelcase is fancier, but a fair bit pricier.

The HyperX Cloud Alpha is a wired headset with a detachable mic and cable for easy travel. It is self sufficient and does a great job on its own without any other attachments.
The HyperX USB card is a completely optional attachment you can get with any compatible headset that gives you the option to make your headset do surround sound. But I have not found any surround sound for any headset that doesn't sound horrible. I got it only because I like the audio controls, and it converts the aux cable into a USB cable.
Hey everyone.
I recently released my first mobile game called Bubble Drop to the Google Play store and would Love to get some feedback and reviews!
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.MadPixieGames.BubbleDrop
If you have any feedback on improving it I'd love to hear that too.
Btw, my current High Score is +67k. Good luck beating that :p
A really great classic controller is the iBuffalo/Buffalo SNES controller. Great buttons, great in the hand. I ordered 3 different SNES controllers, and it was the best by far. Also getting great reviews.
https://www.amazon.com/BUFFALO-USB-GAME-Keys-BSGP815GY/dp/B06XWD8QQJ/
Also says here:
Now, you might be comparing the two "Buffalo Classic USB" controllers offered on Amazon (as of late June 2017) and wondering what the difference is between the BSGP815 (this product listing) and the older BSGP801 (Buffalo iBuffalo Classic USB Gamepad for PC BSGP801GY). I own them both.
>Compatibility: The 815 is officially compatible with newer operating systems (Windows 10/8/7/Vista/XP/2000/Me) and the 801 is officially compatible with only Windows 7/Vista/XP/2000/Me. I have not tested all these, so I don't know if it's true.
>Writing on them: The model numbers are on the back of each model, and the 801 says "iBuffalo" on the front whereas the 815 only says "Buffalo." I've included a picture of both controllers.
This is a very standard USB device, so it should work on Mac as well. Should also be on eBay.
If anyone is interested read Masters of Doom
A really good book about the start of John Carmack, Romero, and Adrian Carmack.
I recall the way Adrian was able to design a lot of the demons in doom was because his other job...was photographing things in hospitals. Farm accidents, car accidents, gunshot wounds...the lot. So he had a lot of crazy to back up with.
