These ones are the best ones I’ve found. Doesn’t make your space look like you’re obviously growing weed since it’s white light lol and doesn’t give off a ton of heat which burns my plants. Also I like that the bulbs are curved and have 3 led strips per light so I have more versatility in my set up.

*I had to rig this one because it isn't made to be hung, but it was very easy! I used a drill to put eye screws on each end of the top, then used nail in picture hanging hooks on the wall.
My favorite thing is a diamond drill bit they are cheap and add drainage holes with ease.

I, um, borrowed it from my husband a few years ago and failed to return it! Honestly though, it hasn’t held up very well and I wouldn’t recommend it. I do however strongly endorse replacing all office chair wheels with roller blade wheels like these, especially if you have wood floors.

You have to tie it, otherwise they'll just flop back down past the support eventually, especially when they move with the light during the day...I highly recommend this product, it's so much easier to work with than string or rope.
Piggy backing to say another Redditor put me on "grow more orchid food"
Specifically the "bloom" formula.
My gf uses it, combined with an eastern facing window and her orchids all do great!
Not 45 blooms but definitely super healthy!

I find my mood is wayyyy better with plants around. I think this works the same as a SAD light too (which I also have) so I’m interested to see how it will work in the winter
Are you using a lot of water with it? That kind of bit inherently have a limited lifetime but that can help a lot. This is what I have and I put holes in maybe 10 pots on one bit and used a good amount of water.
I had to know, too. I found them on Amazon.

I have mine under some T8 lights I got from Amazon. I have a plant shelf that I keep the majority of mine on.

I got these from Amazon! Looks like they are on sale too :) I just used command strips to stick them up there. I also took the filter? I guess you would call it, off of them to allow more of the light to come through.

No not these ones. Try these ones instead. I prefer the T8’s.

I used these lights from Amazon. They make a “white light” as well, but it actually is more pink (there’s a picture of my other cabinet on my profile.
There are four mounted to the ceiling of the cabinet, and they daisy-chain together which was nice since I only had to run one cord out.
Feel free to message me with any questions you have! Excited for you, this was a fun project and my plants love it!

They also have other similar ones, but different material, different configuration, etc.

Sheer curtains can be yours for only $15 on Amazon! 😛 I had to get them because it was too much sun and it was burning all my plants.
Here's one half that's very similar. So beautiful!
These are the ones I got! I prefer the bendy ones so that I can squish them into different shaped cachepots, but they're also pretty flimsy. None of mine have broken yet though! They also don't drain amazingly, so I put my plants in suuuper well draining soil (but I'm also an overwaterer) https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B08RD433T9/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_glt_fabc_M9XT337ETNQ966QZFHET?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1

Every time my outdoor succulent garden gets pot upgrades I refresh the fertilizers and granules. Seems to keep the ants from being able to re colonize in my plants.

I bought a similar grow light set on Amazon ages ago. Honestly just a search for grow lights on Google shopping or Amazon should return options near you, but this is the one I got:
I found it... https://www.lifeixdesign.com/products/iron-ellipse-frame-led-pendant-light-with-glass-flower-pot

I didn't really work from any resources. I just made it up as I went with some scrap boards and this hardware: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07GJQQ9RT/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_fabc_Zz62FbQDJ0YC5?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1.

If you’re able to cheaply use distilled water, that’s perfect, although the power consumption of the distiller may still be a consideration for long-term running costs.
You can’t use sanitizing solutions with ultrasonic humidifiers as the cleaning solution will also get released into the air and be inhaled, whereas with evaporative humidifiers it says in the reservoir. Commercially available additives like this one specifically state they are not for use with ultrasonic humidifiers.
It’s estimated that over 14,000 people died in South Korea as a result of sanitizers being used with humidifiers.
They only have it in an xs, (and I'm very much not that size, but I shamelessly cut the neck and sleeves so it was a passable fit) but when you need something, you find a way! I was ready to cut the design out and sew it onto a different shirt. Lol
If anyone is interested, these are the grow lights I've been using for the last few years. I only had 1 light in the living room this winter as the others have been placed around the house. Bought 5 and just ordered 2 more.

I just bought two of these lights for my living room plants. I’ve already noticed a huge difference in just a few days. There’s a timer so in the morning I turn it on and set it for eight hours. It shuts off automatically. I’m already considering a third.
Exact same thing happened to my partner with her first plant (snake plant) 😂 felt inspired and put together this tshirt design shortly after:
Each stone has their given-name, their plant-name, and their water and light needs! The numbers on the water-drop coincide with the recommended number-range on this gauge I bought on Amazon (I had to guess some of them based on other plants with similar water-requirements). Also heres the link to the meter I got
This is the listing for the basic version of it that doesn't have shelves attached on Australian Amazon. $279AUD. They don't even sell this version on Australian Amazon.
I was on the fence about a cebu but yours changed my mind. Gorgeous color!! Edited to add: I was using the same hooks that you do for my pothos and I found these on Amazon. They’re waaaay cheaper, like 110 clips for 12 bucks.

No. Use garden sand not play sand though. I do always have to check the sand after watering. You don’t want a ton just a coat. It just interrupts part of their life cycle. They don’t like to lay eggs in it because it dry and that prevents hatching. I bought this because it looked nice

I also have a spider farmer led panel for a different wall that works very well also
I found the pot.

I'm no expert but my plants love this bulb. Has a natural looking light and is just a standard bulb size for any lamp.
You can kindof tell from the picture on the right that when I got it, it was a little sickly as well. And it got worse. I got it in the dead of winter from Seattle and I am in Oklahoma so it took quite the trip. They were barely rooted cuttings and it took a lot of TLC. I use the cheapest potting mix from Walmart on this guy. They like good soil structure, mine probably has little bits of wood mulch and stuff in it to keep the soil aerated. I think it was leftover mix from my veggie garden compost pile so it may have been really rich soil. I water it deeply once a week, they are particularly tolerant of damp soil. I learned that they don’t like to dry out. My biggest contributor of success is 100% because of a grow light from Amazon. My plants EXPLODED with growth after I bought a couple of these. They are a ghastly pink color, but I screwed them into a regular light socket and angle them towards my cluster of plants. They’re very bright and are tailored to exactly what a plant uses for photosynthesis. I also mist my plants many times a day when I think about it. I also use all purpose miracle grow when I water them.
If the cuttings are freshly rooted, I had much more success with water propagation, and then moving them to soil. I rooted a few directly in the soil and the leaves yellowed and were ugly and I had to wait even longer for the new leaf node to pop up out of the soil. Definitely water propagate. The freshly cut leaves struggle to retain moisture in soil because they don’t have established roots yet. Water propagation still allows them to get water from the cut end of the stem just like a bundle of roses, while the little root node starts making roots in the water. I hope this helps!! I tried to be as detailed as I can.

I got these on Amazon for about $12 for a two-pack. They're made of coir (I misspoke when I called them moss poles, but they work the same). There's a stake on the bottom that can slot into the hollow part of the one above each one.

The biggest thing I did for the health of my high light plants was get supplemental lighting. A Reddit user recommended adding some lamps and once I did…. Amazing results. This was the bulb they recommended:
It’s this one but unfortunately it’s $21. I’ve looked but haven’t found anything cheaper or an alternative.

Yesssss that etsy plant wait... I honestly just bought an 8 pack of 4" plastic planters with trays from amazon. They're not aesthetically pleasing, but also not my sour cream containers I use in emergencies lol.
I say "when they need it" because each plant has a different suggested fertilizing schedule than the next. AND I don't want to be attacked by social media plant gurus for saying this, but I personally have been adding a little bit of fish & guano fertilizer to my watering can every time I water. I read a few comments on reddit posts about people using their fishtank water and how amazing their plants were doing after they started using it, but I don't have a fishtank-so I figured the next best thing was to buy fish & guano fertilizer 😂
This is the super fast draining stuff https://www.kellogggarden.com/products/gborganics/gb-organics-raised-bed-potting-mix/ It was only $13 for a giant bag and I haven't even used half of it after repotting all of my plants. And I have A LOT of potted plants lol. Amazon. There are a lot on there so you really have to sift through and read reviews. https://www.amazon.com/Foldable-Decorative-Indoor-Outdoor-Display/dp/B06XJGBQLH/ref=sr_1_16?s=lawn-garden&ie=UTF8&qid=1518887055&sr=1-16&keywords=plant+stands here is a link
Looks like they’re both available on Amazon.
I use these from Amazon, screwed into a ceiling joist. I remember thinking that they seemed to be about a #8 or #10 screw size. My girlfriend has 4 medium sized plants, and I have an even larger pothos than OPs hanging in my bedroom.

If you're really paranoid about dropping a pot, you can buy a weight scale, weigh your plants, and then overload the hook by pulling on it to see if it'll come out. A #8 screw size into a joist should do the trick though.
I ordered bulbs for the purple from Amazon. They've been growing great.
