If you can't find a single good thing about Indy then my guess is you've never been outside of it. I recently came up from San Francisco so...
The people here actually treat you like a human being. The sidewalks aren't packed with tent encampments and human waste. The streets aren't littered with used needles. There aren't murders routinely happening in public downtown. People care about more than just getting wasted every night. Farmers markets here actually sell good stuff. Central library is SUPERB. Symphony has a talented ensemble--particularly the opera. Electronic music scene is cool and tight knit. Stars are beautiful in the evening. The weather is pleasant and warm in the summer. There are bowling alleys and places with good food open pretty late into the evening. There's quite a lot of meetups on Meetup.com for various things.
This is pretty much just the tip of the iceberg. Indy has so much to offer.
In the house i lived in growing up, we had an old refrigerator that once shut off pulled our electric bill by $100.
My only suggestion is to do one room at a time and see how that affects things. Or you can buy a Wattage Usage Monitor from Amazon and plug that into things to see how much they are using.
https://www.amazon.com/P3-P4400-Electricity-Usage-Monitor/dp/B00009MDBU
There is an associated press article from Oct 22 1977 naming the foreman and one juror. Gregory Hach, the foreman and Nelson Locke a juror. http://news.google.com/newspapers?nid=1982&dat=19771022&id=qsVGAAAAIBAJ&sjid=BTQNAAAAIBAJ&pg=3977,3724240
Dick Cady is a Pulitzer winning journalist from the glory days of the Star and covered the State Fair explosion in his book, Deadline: Indianapolis. E-books are still available but the print copy was short-lived.
The Indy Library has a copy at Central in the Resource Room.
This is a good read on contemporary Indianapolis history.
NBD. Thanks for that. If she doesn't use Reddit, could you please ask her if she would be willing to license it CC BY 4.0? If she does, I will put it on Wikipedia.
Check out meetup.com, I've found that to be a great way to meet people and do fun things in a new city. Volunteering is my other favorite way to meet people and do things that matter and are actually enjoyable. Check out volunteermatch.com if you don't know of causes you care about that you could look for in Indy.
If you're a dog person and have considered getting on, GET ONE. I never feel weird being out and about with my dog. Also tons of strangers come up to me (I mean LOTS) because my dog is cute AF.
Otherwise, farmers markets, take a book to the 'beach' or a park, go for a hike, rent a kayak, take lessons in something you've always wanted to learn, go to the gym, take a class, or get politically involved.
While I know you would rather be in a classroom, Microsoft offers training and classes for free on their website. Here is a full list for Excel2013. Excel has not changed much in the last couple editions so this will work fine.
Your other options include hitting up a community center or library. They tend to have computer literacy classes for free as part of a workforce development initiative. This will include office and excel.
Finally, hitting up Half Priced Books or Amazon will get you several Learn Excel text books with labs for very cheap. The books change every 2 years or so and students can't really sell them back. The Shelly Cashman Series is where most students start, and to be honest, college courses just teach directly from the book.
I hope this helps! Best of luck with Pivot Tables, they suck.
Amazon should definitely have that
I was interested, and I like your style.

I've used the RequestIndy app on Android. The app isn't great, but it at least let's you know instantly if there's currently a request in for that specific area. So that's something I guess...

They are hard to find.
90.9 FM - Giant.
Hands down the best station, has a sick variety of all music, and as someone who likes the "older edm-esque" tracks, from like.. 11-5am, especially on the weekends, they tend to have a great set of dance/electronica/techno going on. Other times of the day its a variety, but definitely hands down the best.. Though signal starts getting fuzzy going towards chicago or fairgrounds. It has a decent range, but definitely unusual. I wish it reached Anderson, but sadly, it doesn't, but anytime I'm coming from chicago/going to avon, I tune in because they play a great variety and rarely you'll hear a duplicate song or one you actively recognize, at least during the nighttime hours.
https://tunein.com/radio/Giant-909-s27389/
If you want their radio station online, but occasionally/most part there will be a static with the online stream. I've messaged wondering why, and they said they would look into though, its usually good. Check them out, I can never suggest them enough, if you're looking for variety, especially techno.
yeah the only thing I get at mcdonalds is the mcgriddles breakfast sandwich, do yourself a favor and don't even bother looking up the nutritional information on that
https://ridewithgps.com/routes/27392207
that's my "go-to" route of the city and it hits almost all the major greenways except for fall creek which is actually nice and underutilized so sometimes I'll skip the tow path and cut over to that from the white river trail. 2 laps is almost exactly a metric century and only about 4.5 miles is on the actual road, the rest are bike lanes or greenways and if you want to extend the route just travel north on the Monon as far as you want, it goes all the way to Westfield I believe
Waze will solve all your problems. Okay maybe not all, but it will tell you when to leave based on traffic, if you add your class as a calendar event. It'll also reroute you if it finds a more efficient route.
The top 5 bowel movements of my life have been outdoors. Seriously, a spade, some paper, and some of the most beautiful scenery on the planet. Somebody even wrote a book about it...https://www.amazon.com/How-Shit-Woods-3rd-Environmentally/dp/1580083633
But to just go willy nilly in your neighbors yard?
For everyone getting all worked up about my comment:
I think this article gets the point across that I was trying to “reverse racism”
A few tips when doing self promotion like this.
I think you’d be able to report the barking to animal control under animal causing nuisance prohibition.
A coworker had his barky backyard dog reported to animal control and he got a warning and then when reported again, a ticket with a fine. I’m pretty sure it was all through animal control and their officers, not IMPD.

In that case he should use this Groupon for Parabellum Firearms in Avon.
$45 gets you two premium firearm rentals, two hours of lane rental, 50 rounds of ammo per gun rental, and ear and eye protection.
I did it, and it was a fantastic range. Plus with the premium, you can rent everything from a .22 to an AR-15, and they'll let you swap in and out to see what you are comfortable with.
Tim's Shooting Academy also has a Groupon but the deal is much better at Parabellum. Plus Parabellum has a greater gun rental selection.
(If you do decide to do this, you can buy up to 4 (2 for you and someone else, and two as gifts so you might need to spread it out amongst the other guys to get enough for everyone if your party is especially large.)
Definitely check out AirBnB instead of getting a hotel. There are some great places downtown, and everything is very walkable.
This one is particularly cool, and Mass Ave. is the hippest part of downtown.
I'm guess you're not originally from here, right? Downtown is your best bet, but I'd look on meetup.com and perhaps professional orgs within your industry for folks who might be like you (not from here, college educated 20s/30s) because the city is largely full of people who are from Indiana or the Midwest, the majority of married or went to Indiana schools and so the cultural mores (and activities) fit that.
TL;DR: This isn't Chicago or the coasts, at. all.
http://www.indeed.com/m/jobs?q=company%3A%223M%22&from=acme-jobs&l=Indianapolis
Manufacturing? I know 3M is hiring reliable guys, some directly with benefits, and some are thru temp agencies like First Call or Volt.
Good luck.
You have to go to Pumpkin Works. From Downtown Indy it's about an hour and 40 minutes without speeding. So much fun. Taking the family this year again.
Corn mazes for the kids, hay rides, 2 haunted houses (one not so scary), crappy food but good ice cream, and you can pick from a large selection of pumpkins.
For the panning shots like this one you need to use a long shutter speed to blur the background. The settings for that photo are 135mm, ISO 100, 1/80th sec, f/16. I used a 135mm f/2 lens for most of these shots.
Typically for motorsports shots you will be in bright conditions, so the only way to get a longer exposure is to close the aperture down or use an ND filter. The hard part is deciding on a shutter speed which depends on your focal length, distance to the subject, and movement of the subject. There is a lot of artistic choice in deciding your panning point in the image, but I like to use tires and the driver for reference.
It just takes practice, and lots of trial and error. Many of my panning shots didn't turn out.
Talk to your school about finding you a place to shadow or look at meetup.com and attend one of the coding meetups. Also talk to your Computer Science department head.

It's not really up to the employee to decide if you can shadow or not especially considering things such as NDAs and that person not being paid to have you shadow them. You may find someone who runs their own business who is kind enough to do it for free.
Try IU Health in Indy...I know Fransican Health had some entry level jobs at like $16/hr a couple months ago...in patient services, admissions, and the like. Use sites like http://www.indeed.com and http://indianacareerconnect.com as well.
Hey, I'm from Dead Man's Grill. We play Rock House and lots of places in Indy. You may want to try Mitchell Entertainment or LazyHawk. They're always throwing tons of shows.

Depending on your demographic, you may also wish to consider the ES Jungle, Dojo, Earth House, Volrath, Melody Inn and Irving Theater. Also, you might find similar bands on ReverbNation and give them a shout.
Birdy's is pretty tough to get people in to. There's no built-in crowd but the stage is nice for the band with some renoun already.
So that's what terry kirts is up to lately.
Met him once for coffee years ago then we lost touch. He mentioned being a poet and i inwardly scoffed, but when i looked him up he's pretty good. https://www.tumblr.com/search/terry%20kirts here's his ode to cilantro.
The first sentence of the app description is, "The most powerful safety app for today’s world." That doesn't sound like entertainment to me.
I go on a similair route fairly regularly, not sure my road bike love the central canal trail so much but its such a nice area.
Last time I went I think I saw a Pelican in the canal by the art museum.
Also, when using MapIndy, don't forget to check out the Pictometry feature.
The MapIndy site along with old online maps (this page has been especially useful) has been invaluable when researching abandoned structures I've found while riding my bicycle around the city.

Get your n+ and do the 70-680 and continue to an Mcsa. That could get you into an MSP where you'll be exposed to a ton of new material and can see where you want to go from there.
This is a house my brother is renting out in broadripple. Not an apartment, but it feels like one while being on it's own land and having a washer dryer ;) It has an apartment feel, and you could even have an option for a roommate if you wanted to keep it tight.
Thanks for looking, and good luck!

I give you the Indy Startup Genome Project. It maps all the tech startups in Indianapolis. Hopefully you can use this to check who's hiring!
I agree to some extent with what you cited as being wrong with our system. But the corruption in our healthcare system is so deeply rooted in k street lobbying payments to Congress that a single payer solution from Congress would only codify it and make it metastasize further.
Would suggest reading this book
https://www.amazon.com/Price-We-Pay-American-Care/dp/1635574110
for some different ideas on how to break free of the corruption that the system has spawned.
I have something similar to one of these. They're pretty easy to maintain and use. If you like sprouts, I recommend them.
Amazon. Generic memory foam. Feels identical to any $2000 memory foam mattress, only is delivered to my front door in 2 days and costs like $400.
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B003CT37K6/ref=cm_sw_r_awd_CaMOvbX0J2X8Y is the one I have.
From the looks of it it should be a standard unit. The industry standard turntable/universally known are Technics 1200. The turntable you have looks to use the same headshell connection so you should be good to go.
Another option would be to get something like this off Amazon:
Gemini HDCN-15 Turntable Headshell and Cartridge (Silver) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B002SSA79G/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_KmNqAb4QXQF38
Not the high end of cartridges/needles at all, but it should work to play music :)
I don’t know if it’s the best bread to make but it certainly awesome to eat. Get this book from the library or from Amazon. It’s the one that got my wife started baking sourdough bread and we all love it. She cooks it in a cast-iron pan and it’s amazing toasted.
Dave Ramsey's advice is sound. My comment may have been downvoted several times, but I can assure you it is good knowledge. Listen to the show. Email or call if you need more specific advice. Go to the library and check out his book "The Total Money Makeover".
All of these things are free. No need to spend money you don't have with an advisor. Who even downvotes a free solution to someone financially struggling anyway? Listening to a couple of his shows will help the OP evaluate and learn about their own situation.
If you like these, there's a book called Indianapolis Then and Now that compares the historical photos with their modern day locations: https://www.amazon.com/Indianapolis-Then-Now%C2%AE-Nelson-Price/dp/1910496588
This is the one I bought. I'm pretty satisfied with it. I'm not associated with the company and it's not an affiliate link to Amazon.
I had the same issue and bought a filtered shower head. That helps quite a bit. Unless the building has a water softener, this is the best you're going to get.
They make bedframe dampeners...I had to get some of these to prevent my own noise from thumping the apartment below years ago. It ended up with me and them becoming friends instead of pounding on my door at midnight after the dude consoled me about my apparent breakup. Nope. I just got rubber pads for the bed frame.
https://www.amazon.com/Silent-Feet-Anti-Vibration-Riser-Beds/dp/B00YSKSU7S?th=1
That said, it is a temporary fix for OP. Might make it a LITTLE better while looking for better solutions. Talking to the bar and building owner should be the FIRST things that are done. Even this should be something that any business that shares space with residents should have been done by the business and not the residents. Then again, shitty bar owners seem to be the norm not the exception.
I have not. Couple of lots around me are constantly getting dumped on. Neighbor is needing cameras to catch them doing it, but... .. Did not have any heavy trash for at least a couple of months, but
I document and report through RequestIndy app. If it sits I report again as needed till something happens.
Many do not need installed by a "professional". Do you by chance have an auto-dimming rearview mirror? If so, you may be able to use this. Of course, you need to buy the version that fits your specific vehicle. I use one in my Odyssey and it works like a charm. Took all of 15 minutes to install my dash cam.
I got them on amazon. It handles the syringes fine. (I've gotten flat FLAT cans off the road no problems.) Foldable, portable handy dandy gripper picker upper! (I have 4 more coming in tomorrow. They are on sale and I give them away.)
I've had Spectrum for two years and never had an outage. Though we live outside the county, so that may be why. Like someone else said, I'm on my own modem (Netgear Nighthawk C7000, so that might be another reason.
Xfinity always worked great for me. AT&T was hot garbage, even their highest speed package always sucked.
Willy's Salsa, Swanton Ohio.
I see this [cookbook[(https://www.amazon.com/Roselyn-Cookbook-Tony-English/dp/B000FHC78Q) in auctions and estate sales sometimes if you ever wanted to relive the memories.
Game is still relatively new with it being released in...what, early January? I think it'll be tough to nab locally, maybe a bit easier when the new games come out in October.
I'm seeing 40-55 used copies on ebay's recently sold listings. So expect to pay somewhere in that price range.
I don't have a significant mouse problem, a few seem to have found their way into my garage once and got into a bag of bird feed, so I used this:
https://www.amazon.com/Tomcat-N-A-Mouse-Station/dp/B01MT6BOR0
I saw a few nibbles taken out of it and then my bird feed no longer got harassed. Nothing since.
I also found a small hole where I think they got it and filled it.
If I had a bigger problem I'd probably set several more in my attic/crawl.
Found our outfits for the protest: Get out of my uterus
I just bought one and had the same issue. No place to physically see it before purchasing. I took a chance and ordered a fold up stand and chair together from Next Level Racing on Amazon. It’s around $300, but so far it has been excellent. Very sturdy and capable of adjusting for any size driver. The one I bought was the F-GT Lite model.https://www.amazon.com/dp/B083JW5YKM/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_D5Q32RDB5XFRSZDAJTZB?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
Very glad they made it out safely. FYI, if you live in the upper floor of a home or apartment, you can purchase a portable fire escape ladder. (Example here.)[https://www.amazon.com/Kidde-468094-Three-Story-Anti-Slip-25-Foot/dp/B000H5S96A/ref=mp_s_a_1_4?adgrpid=73191965932&gclid=EAIaIQobChMI56-LpYOj9wIVKcmUCR36RQkTEAAYASAAEgLJwvD_BwE&hvadid=337412181529&hvdev=m&hvlocphy=9016140&hvnet...]
Watch your ass at night in the Coke Lot at night. Wander around with your friends and have a good time, but it can be like a war-zone there.
Don't even bring open-toe shoes with you. There will be so much trash on the ground and people everywhere, that you'll want closed-toe shoes regardless of where you are for the weekend.
Bring your own toilet paper for the porta-potties.
Freeze water bottles instead of using loose ice.
You'll want a backpack cooler; any other style of cooler is a mistake. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01N5WHYPH/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&th=1
Hydrate, hydrate, hydrate.
Shit man, what do you need? I am currently looking at a 4 port Gigabit eithernet pci card (half height only) , a "HAF XB EVO" case, a bunch of older fans (slowly replaced with "good" ones), dubious 32gb of ddr4 (didn't work with my amd system). Bunch of older video cards too, motherboards, etc. Hell, I think I have an old psu around too.
So, again, what do you need?
If you have some self-motivation you can self study most of the CompTIA stuff. Buy the official study books, read carefully and slowly, then reread. I got A+, CCNA, and MCSE many many years ago all completely self studied using the official study materials.
I'd go straight for CCNA for networking over Net+. Double check this is still the current test but you could probably just buy this book, study, then take the test: https://www.amazon.com/CCNA-200-301-Official-Guide-Library/dp/1587147149
Net+ is fine too, if you can self study the cost is pretty negligible to do both, but I think CCNA might have more respect in the industry.
I don't think it can hurt to apply now. Years of experience matter, even if it is entry level IT jobs. I do not think you're likely to secure a specifically "cybersecurity" job with just a sec+, though, but it could be showing enough competence to get a job as internal IT services at a company.
I love it. I've been using it for a decade. It needs regular descaling, though. For that I just use a cup and a half or lemon juice mixed with the water, let it boil for 20 minutes without the fan running, then wash it out. Maybe every five or six uses. Does take about 4-5 to distill a pot. I usually do that overnight.
My apartment complex made it clear in my welcome package to only use gel detergent in the dishwasher specifically because of the hard water. Running vinegar through your coffee pot once a week will keep it functional. Keep some CLR on hand for anything vinegar can’t handle.
Also, highly recommend using a chelating or swimmer shampoo every once in a while (I like this stuff). Your scalp will thank you.
My ex husband had soundproofed our basement because his band would practice down there and you could hear them from outside the house. But we didn't really care what the basement looked like so it was literally just soundproofing foam nailed to the walls lol.
It did work pretty well though, definitely dampened the noise outside. I'm guessing you would want something more visually appealing.
I don't even remember the brand name and can't find the exact kind anymore on Amazon. But it's real similar to this one.
April 20-21
Inch of very wet snow.
Nothing in May back to 2016. Stopping there because people can search themselves haha.
https://weatherspark.com/s/14754/3/Average-Winter-Weather-in-Indianapolis-Indiana-United-States
The average temperature shows you could do it from December through February. What that doesn't take into account is the daily temp fluctuations. The second chart shows that even in January, the average hourly temperature goes above freezing.
So your best bet would be January, but if you are lucky to get a couple weeks of frozen ice, you are likely going to be dealing with it being slushy during the afternoon most days.

Hmm, guess it is called the Eagle Creek Airpark. I drive past it practically every day and I've been calling it the wrong name. TIL.
Check out the website meetup.com. Not only can you find events where people are hanging out, but you can also narrow it down to your specific interests. Its a great way to meet new people.
It is hard to meet people here, but depending on your age, your job and your network, it can be tough anywhere. I have found that here a specific problem is that a lot of people are still in the peer group that they had in high school, and it's hard to break into that.
check out meetup.com. there are social outings on there and more activity specific things on there.
there are some gamer groups. there's an indiana gamers sub on here somewhere even. Board games are pretty trendy right now, if you can hang with that at all, it can be a good chance to get to know some people.. (though it skews a little nerdy)
Another thing that I've heard people cite for making friends is volunteering. I know work sounds like.. well, work.. but most of the volunteer gigs I've done don't have me doing more than talking to people or moving signs around or something. most of the other people volunteering are looking to make friends too.
Actual complaint filed in federal court: https://www.slideshare.net/IndianaBarrister/hogsett-sued-for-alleged-sexual-battery
The timing of this is suspicious to say the least...
If true..wtf
If false...wtf is wrong with people. This is a midwest city mayors race lol
I have a compressor at home and got tires of hauling it outside every time I needed to use it, so I bought [https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07MKSP49L/ref=cm_sw_r_awdo_navT_g_H9Y72PC5YFYEX3CYQSF4] (this) and it is great!

That is the one I bought. The G-sensor will record when you are not in your car and automatically save the data. It comes in handy for hit and runs when you are not there to witness it.
There's one at home test that is molecular just like the PCR test you'd get at your doctor's office. It's made by Lucira Health and you can get it on Amazon. It's expensive but if you need to get a result to get back to work or get paid for quarantine it might be worth it. You could look at groupon. I found one deal that's only $99 a night... Stay at 4-Star Top Secret Indianapolis Hotel, IN, with Dates into September.
I've found Weather Underground to be fairly accurate in their forecasting. And WFYI seems to completely dispense with the scaremongering and just give the forecast.
Not all the breweries serve food though.
I've heard Khan's (liquor store) is a good place to get craft beer, but not having been there I couldn't say. I usually just get mine from the brewery itself or Payless Liquors.
I also live in an apartment downtown and don't have cable. As others have said, you can easily pick up all of the major networks with an over-the-air antenna. If you want to save a little money though, you can easily build your own antenna. I built one based on this design for about 15 bucks and I haven't missed a Colts game all season
Can't tell but its not this dog is it? Their owners let it roam... and its has been out 3 times in the past month. Probably should be reported at this point. https://nextdoor.com/p/h3YRZTsM2dZP?utm_source=share&extras=MTc5MjQ3MTU%3D

Lol, use meetup.com to find new hobbies and friends.

Buy a cheap road bike off of craigslist and ride the Monon (or just walk it), if you enjoy biking and want to explore mountain biking then buy a cheap mountain bike off of craigslist or rent one from BGI for a day and see how you like it. MTB is expensive from there but mostly just the bike, once you have all the gear you're good to go (but that's only if you found out you really enjoy it). Trails are at Fort Harrison State Park and Town Run Trail. You can drive down to Brown County or Griffin Bike Park.

Go hiking at Eagle Creek, I did that yesterday. Go hiking at Fort Harrison. Walk the cultural trail, go to museums (I've neglected this and am trying to change it). There's also the Zoo (which I have yet to do).
Last spring when we had that frost i wrapped one of our two Japanese maples in this frost fabric right before the sleet started. I didn't have enough of it for the other. The one I wrapped came through like a champ and the one I didn't wrap lost all of its newly sprouted leaves. It survived, but it looked a mess most of the year.

This site has some great graphs for climate information, including temperature, humidity, precipitation, and cloud cover. In short, summer weather is mostly enjoyable. It's the long, cloudy winters that are depressing.

Is the debate legit? It looks like Nye hasn't confirmed. I wonder if this is one of those things where they "invite" him but he doesn't accept and then they claim they won. Ugh. FYI Nye does lecture frequently all over the US, surely you could see him at a more conducive venue? I would hate to give $ to that so-called museum. http://mashable.com/2014/01/03/bill-nye-debate/
I myself don’t have a century route (still working up to it- I’ve done a metric century once before), but your question intrigued me so I popped onto RWGPS to see what routes people had out there that might fit your criteria. In my mind, I was thinking of suggesting you go up the Monon all the way to the end (Sheridan), out west into the country, and then sneak back down south and then east back to downtown.
I found this, which is more than a century but also starts east of downtown from where you’ll be... so you could probably trim it down to a century easy enough. You’d get to see most of the Monon... and you’d hit the B&O Trail on your way back, too.
My wife and I had a heck of a time finding a cabin with good reviews. We must have looked at two dozen different cabins and couldnt find anything we were comfortable with; then a friend mentioned a place she had favorited on airbnb called Silver Moon Lake Retreat
My wife and I stayed here for an anniversary trip and we could not have been more pleased. We enjoy peace & quiet when we vacation and that was exactly what we got. The woman that owns the cabin was a great host and we’ve already recommended Silver Moon Lake Retreat to several friends.
I'd book here. You wont regret it.
Check out Shadow if you do not have a gaming PC. They supply the high-end computing needs via cloud and charge a monthly fee. As long as you have decent bandwidth, and a modern PC, you’ll be good.
I’ve personally never used Shadow, but I work in IT and my last SA was all about it. Dude knows his shit. If you wanted just a trial run near full settings on whatever you already have, that’s the way to go.
Also, Microsoft offers it for free on game pass and has a PC app that corresponds with the Xbox platform. Basically you can play Xbox games on your PC (everything isn’t supported yet, but Flight Simulator is) They had a promo for 3 months for $1, but I only see 1 month for $1 right now.
If you have a decent PC and don’t care much about the true graphics, the $1 promo on your own PC is way to go. If you’re running an older system, Shadow is a bit pricey but you’ll get the experience you’re hoping to see.
I think I have a 14 day free trial for XBL + gamepass lying around. It has to be a new account, but if you want to create an account and check it out I’ll send over the code.
I saw some disposable mask boxes at Ollie's bargain outlet on Meridian on Thursday.
Also a lot of mask-makers are posting on nextdoor.com in my area, there might be some in your area too.
I print a lot of one-offs of stuff that I like on Thingiverse, but my most re-printed things are useful items. Like game accessories. (I'm a nerd and enjoy card games, board games, and the like.) A while back I designed a deck box for a card game I play, because decks are too big for typical store-bought boxes. It worked well, and other players started ordering them. Here is the design. So I make and sell variations on that mostly. And a few other things.
My most ambitious related project was a working quadcopter. It actually flew (for a little bit). I need to work on that one some more.
Allow me to introduce you to https://darksky.net
As for the prediction, those saying it's a bit too early for a reliable estimate are correct. I wouldn't trust anything until 2 days before... but I totally understand wanting to get a rough idea beforehand.
For any Y member looking to put a hold on your account. This link was in one of their newsletters a few days ago.
Yeah, shockingly, enhanced risk is a classification used by the SPC that has certain criteria to be able to be declared. It is recommended to take enhanced risks seriously. An enhanced risk is issued when certain risk categories, including threat for tornadoes, excess winds, etc, have a higher than base-line chance of occurring.
"When an Enhanced Risk area is issued, it should be taken very seriously. Its presence means that government forecasters are confident enough that widespread storms will develop, and that these storms are capable of causing significant damage or even causing fatalities. For anyone in an Enhanced Risk area, it would be wise to keep an eye on the sky during any activities, and be prepared to take shelter at a moment`s notice." source
If this virus outbreak has taught us anything, it's that you're not allowed to have opinions on everything. Just like the virus, the definition and seriousness of an enhanced risk isn't something to have an opinion on, it just is. The severity of an enhanced risk is not something up for debate, there's no opinion to be had, listen to the experts and go about your day. That's the end of the conversation around this topic.
It isn't quite in Plainfield but off of 10th and girls school ( near Ben Davis ) is Such's Auto Care. I normally do all of my own work until I have a big job and I take it to Mike.
