I saw this book in one of DrifthunterAlbo's videos (shows up @3:06) and was so jealous ;-; I needed to get it for my bf so I searched for it and luckily I found it on Amazon. I was soooo happy because I figured it would make a nice (super early) Xmas gift to my bf 😊 There's 160 pages and it's slightly larger than a magazine.

1st through to first stage are available to buy from funimation themselves, i believe you can get the "SAVE" versions which are cheaper. outside of that i cant recommend much for fifth and final. The DarkDream fan version is pretty good, which you can get on Nyaa.si though it is digital only

Nyaa is probably the best website to get torrent for full series. If you ever want to download, I don't know, all Macross animes at once, Nyaa is the place to go. And they also have old animes there that are somewhat hard to find. Just search using the "English-translated" tag.

As for the manga, I cannot help you.

You could locate the rare Japanese Pit3 release (which now resells for at least $1500), or there is a much cheaper French Bluray that contains Fifth, Final and Extra Stage 2 for about $90. There are no English subtitles, but if you want a solid video source, you'll have it.

A few people have bought it from idforums and the subreddit and said that while it's good, it'll never be worth the price.

The other boxsets (2 and 3) contain the fourth, fifth and final stages but can only be bought on Amazon for like $1000.

I think that this is the CD of this mix on Amazon. I really want to get it but $33 is a little steep. Anybody have any experience with used sellers? There's a bunch of Japanese 'stores' selling this mix via Amazon but idk how trustworthy they are.
