In addition to using Mod Organizer and LOOT, never download anything from Steam Workshop. Mods there are updated automatically and can instantly break your game without warning. Nexusmods.com and loverslab.com will get you all the mods you need.
Hey!! First time posting here! This our first game with adult themes, and for a moment we were a bit confused if it belonged to this sub or not, and we were afraid to share it for some time now. While it is adult and porn-themed, with the characters in our games being inspired by fictional pornographic works, since the game features no-explicit content, we were unsure if we should post it or not, as people both consider it non-erotic and erotic at the same. Still, here's hoping it's fine. ❤
The current version of the game was in one month (with a few more patches since) for Strawberry Jam 3 and got #1 place. Now we want to see and share the game with a few more communities to know what they think. Let us know if you have any thoughts about it!
A good breakdown. I'll say that our sales aren't as high as your most generous estimates, and there are additional costs. The development time total was about two years, with some pre-production being done while Overwhored was being finished. Lewdlogic also did not do work for free but I'd say he made the money back and did a good job.

I didn't make quite what you thought I did and I didn't divide the money evenly between staff. There was a small team that did a lot of work and got the bulk of it and there were a lot of people that helped out with bit issues and voice acting. Also yes, I definitely needed a break and I'm doing small stuff for a while. I also put out Kissing Therapy while making Snow Daze and was doing some work on Hypnolab so not all the money went to that. There was also a bit of churn as people were hired and had to be replaced for various reasons.

For my part the best part of releasing on steam is getting a big chunk of change I can use as a buffer to keep myself from stressing to death over whether the patreon is going to fluctuate on a given month. I now don't have to juggle all of my staff quite so much. I don't have to stress endlessly over making the finances line up just right. I now have the money to reliably pay my staff and myself for a good while. It helps that I've never paid myself more than $3k in a given month.

This profession is not easy, and Steam won't fix all your problems. However, the money you get from steam will definitely help if you don't spend it all right away. Also if you're a game developer legacy sales ARE your retirement, so any platform that will sell your games is going to help your future. Itch.io and steam are both good sites. Don't expect miracles but do things properly and you ought to have things a lot easier for a while.
Not a game but makehuman is a software which you can put measurements to generate a 3D model. If you want a proper game I think the one that has most customization to allow for that (but I don’t remember measurements) is Honey Select from Illusion.
From what i've seen glancing over it, the terms and conditions don't say anything about our type of content. You can look if you want but they don't say much just the usual really.
I know you're just asking about the legality, but I want to address some other issues - mainly, Unity is absolute shit for a text based game. You can do it, sure, the same way you can use a Ferrari to haul firewood. There are much, much better tools if you want to make a text based game. I highly recommend Inform 7 for its "natural language" approach, or if you prefer a more C-like language, TADS 3.
If you want legendary edition you can still order it from amazon https://www.amazon.com/Elder-Scrolls-Skyrim-Legendary-PC/dp/B00CJ7IUIQ
as for whether SE has "problems" with nsfw mods that's not exactly true, people just haven't put much effort into them yet because the script extender took a while to leave alpha. Unless you want some super kinky/fetish stuff, Flower Girls is a more than serviceable sex mod, and I haven't tried it myself but I DO know there's a version of sexlab that's been in production for SE for a few months now, have a look around loverslab if you want the details.
20 dollars seems a little high. You could literally buy The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt for that price right now. I'd seek it out elsewhere... maybe itch.io - though I haven't verified if it's on there or not personally.
You could also consider subscribing to them on Patreon instead. Most of these games have Patreon accounts with $5 tiers -- so you could pay $5, try the game, and if you don't like it simply unpledge.
There's an earlier version of Man of the House (not the final version tho) available for his $5 tier, found <strong>HERE</strong>. Hope this helps.
The guy who originally drew TowerGirls as a forum game on 4chan. They teamed up then had a falling out (see: people like money and lots of it. When things blow up the dirty tricks come out)

I was reading the lawsuit documents and it was dismissed without prejudice so we may see P&C go down again as the fight continues.
Sadly we dont't have a MAC version at this moment.
But some users have told me they play it on Mac by using Wineskin or any program like VirtualBox, I hope that might help you.
You can get some recommendations here: https://developers.google.com/speed/pagespeed/insights/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.chastitychoices.com%2Fcollege%2Fone%2Findex.php%3Fstep%3D2
You'll be able to see how fast it loads for someone for the first time if you clear your browser cache.
You can't just download those game versions and run them easily with a Chromebook because a Chromebook isn't running Windows, Linux, or Android, it's running Chrome OS. I know there are tools you can download to play Linux and Android Ren'py games on Chromebooks, but you'd need to do some research. Here is a starting point. You may run into issues with decompressing files too, as most lewd games need to be extracted first after download. The simple truth is Chromebooks just can't easily do what PCs do, they're made for browsing the web and other simple tasks, which reminds me that you should have no problem playing HTML - based lewd games if you wanted, since they run in a web browser.
Try /r/nsfwdev instead or /r/renpy.
And when learning any new game engine/framework/library/system/etc in programming, the first thing you should always check is whether it has documentation: https://www.renpy.org/doc/html/quickstart.html#a-simple-game
There also a lot of discussion of what makes a good/decent game that you might want to take a look at before jumping in the thick of it.
My first advice would be to make a short game (around 30 min) including everything you want to implement before you do anything else.
I'd also say that while there are a lot ways to make a game Ren'py is my favorite and can be played on more platform than RPGMaker and Unity for the people like me with hardware limitation it's a boon.
I use WindowWatcher, myself: http://www.airesoft.co.uk/windowwatcher
It just makes an always on top window that you can resize that displays whatever the rpgmaker window displays. Sizer seems nice too though, I'm just throwing out other options so OP can choose whatever's better for their individual needs and preferences.
To get it to work you need to download this and update the file:
https://articulate.com/support/article/using-the-articulate-updater-for-internet-explorer-10
Any chance you have any of the other files / games by that author? There were ones called "transfixers" and a few others
That depends on how you intend to fund your game.
https://www.unrealengine.com/en-US/faq
Pure donations are royalty free. But if the "donation" gets the donator game access or in-game benefit - something that isn't free to the general public - the "donation" is considered just regular game revenue for royalty purposes. You would be subject to the publisher EULA.
We currently don't have plans to release our game on steam, although we would really like to, eventually. But we will be releasing the game on itch.io as an alternative to Patreon. Hopefully, it is a better platform for you.
Either way, we hope you check the game out when it releases and have fun with it. And if there is a demand, we can definitely think about releasing the game on steam earlier.
Belgerum has several android games that are conveniently all on sale right now. Twists of My Life is another good game.
Hmmm This is how I understand the situation: It's like either your work is gonna be downloaded for free or nobody is gonna know about it. Since a certain proportion of authors are not against it, those against it probably can't do anything and have to live with it. There is this store itch.io where creators can promote and sell their adult games, but I guess its influence is no match for f95zone or fap-nation huh.
Awersome!
I'm a creator too and just discovered about itch.io. it makes things SO MUCH BETTER for you to share not just your public, but also your patreon demos because people can link their patreon there. You should consider adding your game there, it's great!
In Camlife you play a hot young lady trying to make it as a camgirl. Learn new skills, buy toys, and pleasure yourself on camera to please your viewers. Get it free on itch.io and let us know what you think! Also be sure to check out the other awesome games from Strawberry Jam 3!
perhaps try IPFS? you can zip your file, upload to IPFS. then you can share that link. I had great experience with IPFS and since it's decentralized (there are so many nodes), it's impossible to disrupt. no sudden removal yay
As someone who has played A Lot of free NSFW games, itis my civic duty to reccomend some of the better ones:
Everything by Akabur, slave training mostly avilable at Akabur.com
Bounty by Captain of the Guard, text adventure, female protagonist whoring herself out
Degrees of Lewdity is a hidden gem with very good pixel art
Four Elements Trainer is a damn classic of a trainer game, espcially if you liked Avatar: the last airbender
Free Cities is a must, they have thir own damn sub-reddit. without modding it also follows this sub-reddits rules
Lab Rats 1 and 2 by Vren has stolen an amzing amount of time from me and the pacing is excellent, it's a trainer that uses drugs
My Very Own Lilith is damn cute for a sex game and can get pretty deep
Orange trainer is a star-wars parody where you train Ashoka Tano from clone wars, a lot of content, quite good
Poke Abby of Itch.io is a fun little interactive toy of a game, but well worth a download. You basically molest and fuck a nice custom 3d model
Rouge Like, i dowloaded it from f95zone is probably my favorite trainer-esque game so far, you train certain girls from x-men and is innovatin within it's genre
The Allure of Wanton cove is good if you like a gritty mystery, but it's just a bit too wordy for me
Wet Summer Days is a game with a lot of potential and is quite cute and romantic if that's your thing (weirdo)
Finally, the only good RPG-maker game out there; The Last Sovereign is a god damn master-piece that i even played with my girlfriend and i reccomen it like a motherfucker.
Apologies for not providing links, but serchin the title and "lewd game" should locate what you're looking for. Apologies if i repeted any games allready on the list, i did try to avoid it.

For flash games you can also download Flashpoint. Its a program that lets you download like 85% of all flash games ever made, so also most adult games. Don't know if slave maker is in it though. You just have to search for developer/title/tags or search the loooooong list.
In my experience, Godot would be a decent choice as it's an open source game engine, supports basic SVG (vector graphics like Flash) and has a half-decent animation system. You'd need to learn its interface and programming (even if Visual) though but less than if you used the libraries you mentioned.
Black ELegance Mod version 1.2 by vipervenum1977, UAG. Please support the creator from nexusmods.com !
Thank You!! For inquries , just message me directly on my account.
There is plenty of room in the market for that genre. Most need to have a number of quality builds out before they see people willing to fund them on Patreon, so you may have some trouble raising money before you get to that point.
I think that the two easiest engines for text based games are Twine and Quest. I hope this helps and good luck!
Cool!Though I'm curious as to why a wiki isn't used for this, where you'd have more control over the appearance and presentation. Isn't there an r/lewdgames fandom? Better yet a more customizable free mediawiki service like miraheze.org
Still, these sheets take a lot of work to setup, thanks!
EDIT: Must admit, the form setup is hard to beat
You can download it from here:

if you are using windows
or from here: https://f95zone.to/threads/good-girl-gone-bad-v1-2-jasmin-dlc-evakiss.2633/ if you need mac or android versions.
You extract the game folder using software like 7zip. In the folder you just extracted using 7zip there will be a witch.exe or maybe witchtrainer.exe or something similar click that to start game.
When we say "extract" something on pc, we're typically talking about opening up a .rar file (or a .zip or .7z file) and "extracting" the contents so they're accessible. Most people use a program called 7-Zip to do this, but if you don't want to install and use 7-zip (which I would recommend for future use), you can extract it another way.
Right click the .rar file and select "rename". Then replace the ".rar" at the end of the filename with ".zip" (don't type in the quotation marks.) Hit "Yes" when windows asks you if you're sure you want to change it.
Now you can right click the file again, after it's changed to .zip (the icon should have changed as well) and select "Extract All". Hit "Extract" in the window that pops up, and it will extract the file automatically.
Everything should be extracted now, so you can run the program by just double clicking on it. It's probably either called "Game" or something like "Zombie's Retreat". Make sure what you're running is an application, not an icon, or anything else.
Oh and if you do install 7-Zip, then don't worry about renaming anything, just right click the .rar file, move your mouse over the "7-Zip" option, and click "Extract Here" in the new menu that shows up.
This worked for me but I gotta say the game wasn't that great.
To be honest: Do you have any experience in 3D Modelling etc? If not you should perhaps start learning that first OR get some free 3D models or buy some. Thats the next point. Money. 3D-Software would be Blender for free. I use Tyranobuilder (10-15$ on Steam) because it´s super easy for a non-coder like me. Drag and drop. Sound editing would be Audacity or the Reaper DAW (latter is pretty expansive and used by ubisoft i.e.) both are free. If you want to do some branching in your game and test the whole thing maybe twine is something for you? http://twinery.org/ here you can write the whole dialoge and play the thing! also free. Making a game with own assets is a shit ton of work! cut your ambitions and then cut them again by 200% then crumble them and then cut in half... :D don´t want you to drop on the starting line because gamedev as a one man show can become a neck-breaker.
My suggestion would be to start with the text and story in twine. you can build scenes as text and play through it... everything else takes a year+ learning if you don´t know your way around things. So with twine you have at least something to play with quick and maybe your a writer and find a team :D
In case it helps, try taking a look into the framework Bootstrap. It makes it way easier to create mobile-friendly designs, and doesn't need much setup or learning beyond basic HTML and CSS
Not from illusion but my favorite game Custom Order Maid 3D2 (COM3D2) its a bit tricky to install but if you have patience i recommend to read this guide. https://cryptpad.fr/pad/#/2/pad/view/ay1KprE2K8JMgED7mUQQr-O5XpRHqWHxbhlcMOmp8jQ/
I remember using TunnelBear once to get a game while i was in Japan. It worked fine. I don’t remember if i needed to restart steam for it to take effect though. TunnelBear doesn’t require an address of any kind. It just brings up a global map and you select the country you want to be seen from. The free trial gives a few MB but it should be enough to grab the key.
