For those of us not in the States (because EST means different things depending on where you are, and Wolfram Alpha completely bollocks it up), a table showing the reset time, just about anywhere. And of course the event is 5 hours before that.
Great idea!
But... crafbukkit doesn't have a release out for 1.2. I took a look at this option and tried to set it up, doesn't allow new clients to connect to it.
I've found this forum post for a plugin for craftbukkit that still needs to be ported but apparently is doable soon.
Also, some server admin I heard is rolling back and supplying the jars for previous versions to his clients. Is this something we could do?
As for hMod being updated?
Looks like bukkit have bowed out from doing it, I can't blame them, I took a look at the code. It's hideous. It's way way beyond my powers to fix. The file names, method names and variables are all arbitrary letters. They make no sense. I doubt hey0 himself could go back and fix it after being away from it for a while, there's no comments either. I saw some recent commits to the git repository though saying that some things are being fixed but that was by the bukkit team who no longer say they can afford/are willing to invest time in it.
I took a look at the bukkit code, that's much prettier for the most part it'd take me a good few days to get my head around it before I could make any affective changes but even that would just be a drop of water in the ocean of what needs to be done etc.
Could some java wizzes take a look at the hmod source on git maybe?
What are the basic functionalities we actually need? Just cuboid really?
It's generated by a program called pigmap. This automatically creates the tiles and a html page to view them on (using the google maps API), so all you need to do is run the program and put the files created onto a web server.
Have a link to a countdown clock for international players who may have trouble converting the start time.
A medium sized pvp arena with a beacon that can be toggled on and off, and can be set to whatever the admins want it to be. There are redstone-controlled obstacles for archery assistance.
So 24 hours from this post will be Fri, 5 Jun 2015 21:00 GMT.
Taken from Barlimores nerd.nu post:
Sure. I'll make one when I get home. Edit: Here you go I threw in the Comparator too(not my design). The input for the unit is where the lapis block is, and the redstone dust on the side shows where to look for the contained pulses. Make sure to include a good distance between units if chaining them together, so the packet has enough time to reach the next CARBON before you do.
Hi.
Port forwarding won't help in this case, so you don't need to worry about that.
Things to try:
If none of these work, open a terminal and run these two commands.
> ping -c 4 c.nerd.nu
> traceroute c.nerd.nu
and post the output to a pastebin somewhere (gist is good)
This is all assuming you're running conventional broadband on a non-terrible ISP. If you're using 3G or something you may be out of luck.
edit: *Please ignore, too excited to note post time!*
For all you limeys, kiwis, and anyone else who doesn't understand how to shift time zones, that's 11PM GMT/UTC. If you don't know how to get your own time from GMT, learn. Or just use this map.
Rehearsals will start soon, First Rehearsal date
Could you also tell me your ingame name so that we can contact each other for a part in the play.

Haha, sorry for poking fun at your map ;)
I used pigmap, which is a nice fast renderer (took just under a hour to render that map on a 2ghz single core celeron with 1.5gb of ram). Another one to try is Overviewer, which also produces nice maps but takes a lot longer (although overviewer does have a progress indicator, unlike pigmap).
I'd recommend overviewer to start off with if you're not too confident with computers, as pigmap does require a lot of dependancies to build.

TL;DR:

The quest itself is complete, it is however in an empty flatland single player world, how much you use creative mode to cheat is up to you.
Simply unzip the .rar file into your .minecraft/saves folder and enjoy.
