I thought I didn't have this bundle, so I made a maniacal crayon that is out for blood.
But then, I remembered that it is bundle #2 that I don't have. So here is the crayon, just for fun.
Two things I've recently come across, actually:
www.codeacademy.com, very useful if you're interested in programming. It puts you right into basic coding and you can learn even without any prior knowledge.
www.khanacademy.com, filled with relatively short videos on TONS of subjects. Extremely useful if you need to study.
Nice, good thing you didn't give it to him. He was a banned user using an alt. Please consult the <strong>Watchlist</strong> in the future, thanks!
Rome Sweet Rome from Reddit itself. My Steam ID. Also, is it possible for me to post multiple stories?
During my broke college days when I was out all on my own, I liked to keep it nice, simple and cheap. Most days I made egg salad to put on bread, but on the days where I felt like spending just a little more, I would make a Mexican dish called menudo. While it's definitely a labor of love, it's worth every ounce you put in. Here's one of the best recipes for it I could find:
http://allrecipes.com/recipe/menudo-rojo-red-menudo/detail.aspx
Also, it's a great cure for a hangover if you're a partier (which, due to the fact that I was in college, I most definitely was myself).
Enjoy, and thanks a ton for the PiF!
Much love to you, Ali-Sama! I'm not entering, but I thank you for you choice of game to play forward. This morning I acquired a copy to play forward next week, and was saddened to see that someone had beaten me to it. :P
The developer made one of my favourite free games, Escape to Jaberwock. Also in the bullet-hell genre, but with zelda-style dungeoneering.
Here you go!
I purchased the bundle and didn't want these two keys, so I figured if people wanted them but didn't have the couple bucks to spare (times are tight for a lot of people) that I could pass them along. :)
Tank Commander looks good. Have you ever tried Team Yankee? It follows the storyline of the book by Harold Coyle, which is a good book and now I am getting the itch to reread it.
Really enjoyed Super Meat Boy, Braid and Fancy Pants adventures (lol I know sounds stupid but it's fun).
Super Meat Boy and Fancy Pants Adventures I would compare to N if you have ever played that because of the wall jumping. Braid I honestly have no idea what to compare to but its a fun Puzzle Platformer.
You can play both Fancy Pants Adventures and N online as flash games and I recommend you check them out.
I'm not really sure if this is a PiF.
You can sign for the same thing here (14 day trial) https://www.eveonline.com/start/ or have a friend invite you to play it which includes 30 day trial and some game currency.
I just wanted to make it clear since OP said he'd 'pick a winner'. Message me your email and I'll invite you to the game - everyone's a winner!
I recently read the Left 4 Dead comic The Sacrifice, and it's surprisingly good --- definitely worth a read. It's available for free (PDF, 4 parts) here: http://www.l4d.com/comic/
Thanks for doing this. I''ll go with 123 and 441. :)

It's simple, we draw the batman. Just going to let my sketch do the talking I guess.. Put a card with my username on (and yours) for verification. Great thing your doing here though. If you want a better picture of it let me know as that is quite poor lighting on the picture but thanks anyway! You could say he is reaching for that copy of MW3 you have though, as well as the Arkham City! Haha. Good luck to everyone though.
Enjoy Jim
Well, I have to agree with the fellow who said home fries. Skillet home fries are awesome for breakfasts. I used this recipe to make them with fair success (even though I think bobby flay's a tool).
Also, very Jewish of me, but latkes are delicious, even though it's no where near Hanukkah. Try something like this.
If you just want to waste time try this little game: http://www.kongregate.com/games/nicotuason/dojo-of-death
If you want to do something a more rewarding try finding an online course that interests you here: https://www.coursera.org/
No matter what people link you, you'll end up coming back to reddit, can't be helped. (:

EDIT: Alright, I've been awake for about 32 hours and I'm bored as shit, so I figured I'd record a short song instead of just doing the poem. I'm not much of a fan of poems.
It's a short parody of Eminem's "Kill You," and it's ridiculous. Check it out here.
Hey, I gotta chime in and suggest that if you're trying to get into the gaming industry, start with original content. For the moment, Unity 3 is free for download and is churning out some great results. And if you're a student, all of Autodesk's prodcuts are available to you as well.
Of course, if you're already well-versed in all things mentioned, then feel free to completely ignore this and mod away.
I think Puzzle Pirates is my favourite MMORPG. Who doesn't like pretending to be a pirate? Especially one that kinda resembles a Lego toy pirate.
The game is based around puzzle-type games, instead of simulated violence, witch gives the game an twist. And, for the most part, the puzzles are scored according to playing smart moves, instead of how quickly or how accurately you can click or move a mouse. For example, "swordfighting" in Puzzle Pirates is much like playing low-level Tetris, except that you are playing it competitively against another player or a bot.
The game doesn't have "character levels" very much. Your pirates stats are based entirely on how well you have played the puzzles recently. No point in buying a character that has had its stats raised by someone else, since they will quickly adjust back down to your actual ability. And even the greenest newbie character can go along and participate in nearly all of the "advanced" events/actions from day one, which means that you can play with your friends even if they play more often or have higher stats than you.
And the best, the game can either be played for a fixed monthly subscription cost or you can play every aspect of the game for no real money at all, if you are willing to spend enough time playing in the game (or you are very very good at winning at Puzzle Pirates poker), because you can trade pieces of eight that you earn in the game for the "doubloons" (or real money payment tokens) that you need to hand over to unlock or utilize certain aspects of the game.
Hope I will win <3, https://store.steampowered.com/account/
He saunters away, wondering what the dragon wanted to buy with $3.50, when he realizes: Portal 2 is on sale for only 33% of it's already small $20, meaning the dragon must have had $3.30 on himself!
Edit: Decided to put this all together. Will attempt to update as continued...
Watched the video of the game and I looks interesting and has a lot of potential.
Don't mean to piggyback off of extremewirehead's comment, but a game that I've been designing is almost exactly like that. It's a mixture of Monster Hunter and Pokemon with an action-roguelike style of gameplay.
Essentially, each player is a hunter who goes out in to different regions of the land and hunts wild, giant beasts. All the encounters are randomized according to whatever region the player is hunting in - so each region is home to a certain pool of beasts, each beast with its own rarity. When a player encounters a beast, he'll have to fight it using his own skills and abilities and whatever equipment he brought along with him (think the original Castle Crashers flash game for this style of combat, but maybe more detailed). If the player emerges victorious, they'll get to keep the head of the beast as a trophy, and other materials gathered from the hunt that could be used for crafting or selling.
Yada yada yada, online community, multiplayer co-op/challenges, etc.

I'd love to win Jade Empire please! I'm a big fan of the Fable series and Jade Empire has the same fantastic action-rpg style.
Here's something entertaining (cool) for you as well: http://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/511754
It's Time Fcuk, it's an awesome Portal-like platformer that is incredibly hard.
Megaman X RPG is such a fun game, I really wish the guy developing these would have been able to make more. So much fun, especially for Megaman fans.
I would LOVE Supreme Commander 2.
My favorite actress is Kaitlin Olson for her portrayal of Dee Reynalds in It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia. Here's a video clip of her making an internet video diary. Just a day in the life: http://www.hulu.com/watch/38409/its-always-sunny-in-philadelphia-patheticgirl43s-diary-too-much-ice-cream
6.9
and a joke about the number:
what's the difference between 69 and 6.9?
not much, 6.9 is a little disgusting though since there's a period
what's your steam ID, bud?
Haha I'm so glad you posted that, this is a really great song that's similar in style to "In a House in a Heartbeat". I actually have permission from the artist to use it in my upcoming L4D2 campaign, but I've faltered and it's looking to be a long time until release!
565 - Psychonauts! My girlfriend loves it and I missed the sale :C
This is the first flash game I completed - I'm sure you have played it before: http://www.kongregate.com/games/Ninjakiwi/bloons-tower-defense-3
Supreme commander 2 please!
Favorite flash game is Shopping cart hero! Awesome game, gave me hours of fun at school when I didn't have my laptop.
Thanks for offering!
EDIT: link
I loved monkey island as a kid! My brother used to need my help solving some of the puzzles! I was pretty young, so I felt really good about that.
My weapon of choice is Mardek. The link given is chapter 1 in a so far 3 chapter (8 are intended) epic game series. It's heavily based on old school Final Fantasy games, but I consider it to be better than them. It's also hilarious. Last thing to say about it is that the first chapter is short, but I spent at least sixteen hours on the second one and well over that on the third. Hope I win!
Last thing: I don't meet the two month criterion yet, but a mod said that since I have some much link karma I should be fine once I contact a mod for each PiF. If I win I don't mind waiting for a response to get it.
Edit: Steam ID
Extra edit: So a mod replied to me and said I was fine. I dunno if that means he contacted you too or what though....
Well I was going to add a poem I wrote 20-odd years ago to an ex-gf but I can't find it now. However if you like corn bread here is my recipe.
More practical than a poem anyway. lol
I'm not very creative, but I am very technical. One of my projects that I'm most proud of is completely disassembling a Wii, de-soldering all the ports, re-soldering them with wires, and fitting it all into an NES case (I called it a Wiitendo or Nintenwii at the time). Took a while to complete, and I'm very proud of the results! Currently in storage, or else I'd provide updated pics, but here is the link to the instructables page I set up: http://www.instructables.com/id/NintenWii-Wii-re-done-for-NES-case/ (notice the user names match; also may be able to provide additional proof if needed).
I've been playing my roommates copy, but don't own it myself yet. I've been wanting to get it, but money is extremely tight ATM (to the point of needing to borrow money for rent this month)...
Educational games count right? This is the first game I've ever played: EcoQuest 2 - Lost Secret of the Rainforest http://steamcommunity.com/id/leongteng5
Why can't I find it on steam? Is steam hiding stuff from me? ಠ_ಠ
Edit: Found a demo, if anyone wants to try it.
As for the psp, I'd say The 3rd birthday. I have never tried a parasite eve game before it, but now i want to. The idea of jumping from body to body in it can get really exciting.
me!
EDIT: It's a 3rd person shooter/RPG. I actually think you'll like it.
Being the University student I am I would say the standard ramen / craft dinner. However if I had the opportunity to make something.

I love cheesey breadsticks. I recently found out you can put bacon in them.... mind = blown.

I recommend this game Altitude
It's a fun 2d plane game with different game modes like team deathmatch, plane football and base destruction (my fav). It's fairly easy to pick up but difficult to master. Since it is fairly casual with quick respawns etc it is very forgiving. Check out the demo :)
Tip: I recommend using the mouse to control the plane and the keyboard for the afterburner
Pre-order part of their website. Once you pre-order, you have access to the alpha.
I'm no insider, just a fan of theirs. They are the people who put together the humble indie bundles, if you didn't already guess.
If the price tag puts you off, I'll buy it for you. All you need to do is let me know your email address.
The game I am going to suggest is not a steam game however it is very life sucking. It is called EV Nova. Its a fairly old space RPG made by a little indie company called Ambrosia and is probably my fav indie game at all time. http://www.ambrosiasw.com/games/evn/

My favorite game of all time would have to be CoD4. Me and my friends got semi-drunk on release date and spent the whole night playing the campaign on the hardest difficulty available. We spent a good 3-4 hours just on the last part of the Chernobyl mission where you had to escape in the helicopter. The graphics really helped me immerse myself into the game too, since at the time they were the best I have seen.
Link This is reaimagine :the game:, its the third in the series and its very fun. There is a lot of puns and jokes about what happened in the news. Also memes from the internet.

For my submission, i'll choose this game. Basically, you're this scientist that came up with a cure for cancer or some such disease and have to make various choices that will impact the game's ending(only six days before the world ends as a result of your "cure"). The game is true to it's name "One Chance" in that you can only normally play the game through once, and refreshing the page will yield whatever ending you had on your first playthrough. This being a flash game, however, you CAN simply erase your history and replay the game to view the different endings. I really liked this move on the developer's part because the first thing I did after the game ended was refresh for a second playthrough only to be greeted by my own tombstone from my first playthrough. The game itself has a very realistic "the world is actually ending" vibe to it that makes the game seem almost... haunting at times. On my second playthrough i tried my darndest to save the world rather than "go with the flow" as i did on my first playthrough, and my heart was beating fast as the last day approached and I had yet to find a cure. If any of you guys read through this, i'd strongly recommend giving this game a shot if you have half an hour to spare. It's definitely one of the most interesting, unique, and memorable flash games i've ever played.
I played the demo of this before and it was great, though I could see it getting head-wrecking! It reminds me of G-Switch, which is ridiculously addictive!
I'd love to get addicted to and frustrated by VVVVVV! My Steam page is http://steamcommunity.com/id/tetz, though it's set to private at the moment.
Psychonauts, Shoot Many Robots, Limbo - 789
EDIT: woops, added an extra 1 at the beginning...
My favorite sandbox game is probably Dwarf Fortress. You know you've heard of it. It's the sandbox to end all sandboxes. If you need any help with the interface/learning curve, I've got your back. It's not as complex as people like to make it out to be, but it can take some patience if you're not used to ASCII.
For free-roam, I think the classics are pretty good: Morrowind kept me occupied for way too long. Unlike Oblivion, Morrowind exists as its own complete world. There's no auto-scaling to be found anywhere. You walk into the wrong place, you die. End of story. It's a lot of fun, and I think it's much better done than Oblivion.
I have not played a lot of "FPS"s (just got into gaming a little while ago x)). I personally think Team Fortress 2, a game which is free and very addictive, is my favourite. I may not be very good at it, but I do love playing in pubs and such :P I'd like to thank you Disposable for the wonderful PiF! :) Good luck to all who enter! :D
> I will select a winner between Thursday, November 1 to Friday, November 2.
Just in case you're being tricky with the wording, I'm going to choose November 1 :-) . It was on this date in 1941 that the photograph "Moonrise, Hernandez, New Mexico" was taken.
One of the most striking landscape photographs ever taken, the photographer would make and sell over 1,300 prints of it himself. All of these prints are slightly different due to the almost experimental process of manual printing.
Collectors in particular love the composition of the three layers: the black sky, the white clouds, and the grey landscape. The perfect blend of these, without Photoshop or retouching, allowed a print of this photo to fetch $609,600 in 2006.
My favorite RPG.....sure there are a lot of big name titles I could pick, such as final fantasy or fallout, witcher, dragon age, chrono trigger....Certainly many of the games on this list deserve a shoutout.
However, The one I remember the best from the last few years is Eternal Eden.
Eternal Eden is a final-fantasy-esque gamemaker RPG that does many things right. It has a good, interesting story, most enemy battles are optional (there are no random battles) and there's really no noticeable grinding involved in the game--most progression feels natural. Overall, I think this is one of the best games that embody the essence of the term "RPG" in my mind.
Also, it was made with a lot of love by an indie developer, who is releasing a sequel soon that is supposed to be even better :)
So, anyways, that's my entry. Demo the game...if you like RPGs you probably won't regret it :)
Oh and good luck to everyone else and a big thanks to OP for doing this.
Not really a video, but it is a band that is obscure. I am the manager of the band and I have been trying to figure out ways to get them promoted more. They are awesome. Veins of 80's Metallica. Punk Metal Rock. They are called Dierz Eve. I would suggest Lock Your Doorz or Summonary Execution. That is from their new album.
If you want to know hidden facts about the band, I will drop them on here as well.
Thanks for being a good sport! Mind if I post this to r\gaming?
Also, any chance you could rotate the video and re-upload?
I've been crazy busy with work, so thanks once again for making me laugh. I needed it.
This looks like a game that'd be right up my alley.
I don't visit this one terribly often, but when I need it, it's super useful.
http://www.downforeveryoneorjustme.com/
(I don't know if it's obscure or not, if it's more well known than I thought, feel free to DQ me.)
Why not just remove the password? http://pogostick.net/~pnh/ntpasswd/ c:

I want to win, I just don't want a prize. Nothing against Magicka, I've wanted it for a while now, I just don't have time to play it right now. Seems like a waste to give it to me. So, if it's ok with you, if I win I want my prize to go to whomever has the best PiF record out of the other submissions.
