I too was looking for something proprietary but no dice. This works well and puts a record button beside my phone calls as I dont want to record every call just important business calls.

Just use this app & it'll force everything out of the phone. Use the water icon, set the frequency a bit higher than normal water frequency to make it more effective. If it still doesn't work then that means it's in your wire

BxActions does this. I use it myself for that exact thing.

Only niggle is that without paying for pro it will cycle through loud, vibrate and silent rather than just loud and vibrate
