I'm pretty positive pakman never approached that subject during the interview with Chu.
I also noticed in your link they were criticizing the lie that vox day is a white supremacist. whether he is racist or not is irrelevant. Shoddy journalism is why gamergate became a thing to begin with. Enforcing the ethical obligation to strive for fairness and accuracy should be a goal of everyone who wants to be informed, not showered with propaganda.
No, a notable amount of KiA doesn't support him. Stop spreading misinformation. Here's the thread about him appearing on pakman.
Here's a pretty in depth history of the threads his name appeared in. Most of them buried. There's plenty to be critical of gamergate for. Saying they throw in with day isn't one of them when it's very easily proven otherwise.
Now there are allegations of children being drugged.
There's probably no line to be crossed where everyone would say, "okay, now this is fascism". At least no other than gas chambers being used for mass executions.
Correct. Kuchera wasn't fired, he just doesn't write about games anymore. This was his announcement: https://archive.is/pgvoQ
Yeah, there has been a lot of calls for self-censorship these past few months. I do hope that the calls for censorship and outrage culture are thoroughly addressed by David and the interviewees. The sooner we put an end to outrage culture, the sooner the gaming industry can begin to recover.
>You're being hysterical instead of factual. Bernie didn't cause the drastically decreasing membership of the Democratic Party that started in 2008. Bernie didn't tell the Clinton campaign to expend resources targeting suburban Republicans instead of Dem expats or traditional non-voters. And Bernie didn't make the Democratic Party nominate someone who was under federal investigation, taking the largest gamble possible for a literal October surprise. Trump won because the modern incarnation of Democrats are completely unable to navigate politics and make it work for them. That has to change. You can not say "maybe it will work this time" every election. You can not say you are pragmatic and you know what to do, when you are the least effectual person in the room. Democrats have largely tried to blame their most recent loss on the idiosyncrasies of the 2016 cycle: Russian meddling, Comey’s letter, Hillary Clinton’s gender, or the popularity of third-party candidates Jill Stein and Gary Johnson. And to be sure, Trump’s candidacy and campaign were exceptional. However, Democrats have been profusely bleeding voters since 2008, in every single cycle, and across a broad swath of demographic categories. Viewed in this context, 2016 seems less like an aberration than the culmination of a long-running trend. If steps are not taken to rectify the situation, 2018 and 2020 may prove to be more of the same. Democrats need to fundamentally and urgently rethink their platform, messaging and outreach. But Republicans should hardly grow complacent with their apparent advantage either: In U.S. politics overwhelming majorities tend to be unstable, and nothing is truly inevitable until it actually happens. https://www.academia.edu/31849643/The_Democratic_Party_is_Facing_a_Demographic_Crisis
I don't know what this is a response to. It's just a complete non-sequitur. You're not actually rebutting anything I've said.
Also, Ben Shapiro's book:
>Amazon: Ben Shapiro: How to Debate Leftists and Destroy Them: 11 Rules for Winning the Argument

And here: Youtube: Shapiro's only reason to debate the left voluntarily (timestamped)
Other than being forced to or for the unlikely chance that you've found the only honest leftist in America, here is the only reason Shapiro can find to debate someone on the left:
>Shapiro: The only other reason you should ever have a conversation with anyone on the left, is if your are in public in front of a large audience and then your goal is to humiliate them as badly as possible. That is the goal of the conversation.
My favourite list on this subject Karl Marx Early Writings, Louis Menard The Metaphysical Club, John Rawls A Theory of Justice, Jean Baudrillard Symbolic Exchange and Death, Hegel The Philosophy of Right, and last but not least Aristoteles Nicomachean Ethics
Unless of course ..it's his book 🙄
> Feminists do not "hate women." Jesus.
Feminists agree with the world view that men are always better then women. Same with black supremacists agreeing with KKK that white people are better. I understand why you don't understand your own world view, but from the outside everyone sees it.
>I use the term toxic masculinity and I love many men, and I certainly do not believe women are inferior to men.
Nice "I have black friends" defense.
>Also, how boys are shunned and berated for showing emotions. I work with pre-k kids and I saw a boy being broken emotionally by his own father.
That's called an asshole.
>So many men act as if they have to repress their emotions except anger and thatis super unhealthy.

Man feminists really love it when men deal with their emotions in a healthier way.
Holy fuck there is more than one book Check it out
Nah, people in evangelical cults are fun to mess with. Give this a read, might help
What makes me a leftist?
I would love to hear you first draw a definition of what a leftist is, then proceed to tell me how all of your principles align opposing this ideology you have prescribed to me.
Here, start with my book, then go into my history here, and then let's have a conversation, since you are such an arbiter on the topic of leftism, but what -ism do your prescribe yourself?
Trolling isn't an -ism, in case you wanted to admit you have no direction, and are just yelling at clouds.
I’m a systems analyst. I’m real, too. I also like trolling trolls. Forgive me for saying this, but you often act like a troll so I respond accordingly. Too many f-bombs and jumping to conclusions, and while your English is proficient, you’re not a native speaker. Granted, your English is much better than my Finnish will ever be. I will give you credit for that.
I really do think America should provide a better safety net for its citizens like they do in Finland and practically every other country in the civilized world.
Before starting my career in the defense industry, I worked in retail making very little money. I became interested in cybersecurity, and all the cybersecurity jobs near me was at the local defense contractor. So here I am, at my morally ambiguous career. (Although Finland recently decided to buy a bunch of our aircraft to replace its aging fleet, good job Finland 🇫🇮 🙌)
My favorite book on forgiveness is Whole Again because it provides an argument for forgiveness while understanding that not everyone wants to forgive, and if I remember correctly, how forgiveness can be used against you by an abusive person.
They don't use their own funds as collateral. Destiny fans don't even do their own research color me surprised.

It's also nice that you recommend using peer reviewed sources and then you give none in your answer. /s
I use "uBlock Origin"[1] (make sure "Origin" is in the title) instead of AdBlock Plus. Afaik there is some shady stuff going on with ABP ("acceptable ads") and uBlock (non-Oirigin). Also, uBlock origin seems to be lower on resources.
It costs America its soul.
But don't worry, for different reasons the Trump campaign - and therefore his supporters and the Kremlin - are paying for it.
Increase tax on the income tax on the wealthy (e.g., increase top marginal tax rate). And get rid of various tax deductions that the wealthy often abuse. And ban tax haven and evasion schemes.
Google's Tax Tricks: 'Double Irish' And 'Dutch Sandwich'
Because not all men are physically superior to all women? At least that's what Jeysie was saying. You are trying to simplify it too much when it's actually more nuanced.
If you ever find the time, this is one of the best papers I've read on performance differences
I also found the company "privacy.com" problematic. None of the websites I used accepted any of the numbers or information that privacy was generating for me. Good thing it didn't cost me anything except my credit card info.
David, check out Steemit.com and dtube.video. These are fairly new social media platforms that pay content creators when their work gets upvoted. It's very promising and it's been growing alot lately and content creators are actually getting paid quite well. It's a crypto-currency blockchain with a socal media platform built upon it. It's very easy to sign up and it's totally free.
You can read about how it works here: https://steemit.com/steemit/@mindover/steemit-for-dummies-like-me-everything-you-need-know-to-get-started
Clarification: this policy applies to anyone supporting a candidate seeking to unseat an incumbent Democrats.
Yea same problem. Looks like the show producers changed their hosting and Echo got confused. I’m seeing the right episodes on https://www.iheart.com/podcast/263-the-david-pakman-show-27627393/ now so Amazon should pick this up soon.
Forget Kulinsky. Forget Assad. Forget his Russian handlers. You don't need any of them to discern that something doesn't add up.
The US, the UK and France went in because, according to CNN, [B]iological samples from Syria attack site test positive for chlorine and nerve agent, official says
However, the US' very own CDC case definition for clorine states:
> Laboratory criteria for diagnosis
> Biologic: No biologic marker for chlorine exposure is readily available.
Even if we were to apply only the investigative standards of an Agatha Christie novel, we could stop right here and rest the case.
Great news! But I've already gone through the trouble of contacting my bank to stop any charges.
I'm afraid I won't be able to watch your show anymore because of this incident.
Now please implement the option to unsubscribe as a customer paying thru Stripe. You can look here for details on how to do this.
It's crucial that your business allows Stripe customers to unsubscribe via davidpakman.com. You can seriously harm your reputation if you do not comply.
The response time of unsubscribing by contacting you thru email is simply unacceptable.

Thanks for this post, turns out Pro Publica did a deep dive in their podcast Trump Inc this might help anyone like me without time to read but plenty of time to listen
What a horrible propagandist. The actual science shows that there is no solution to the climate crisis with very significant reductions in animal agriculture.

Emissions from our existing food system alone will cause 2C warming by 2070.
Whereas a predominantly plant-based food system (as defined in the EAT-Lancet Report can become carbon negative due to the huge opportunities for rewilding and carbon sequestration that result from switching away from large scale animal agriculture.
Kudlow is peddling a death cult or irresponsible destructive overconsumption with sociopathic callousness about the planet we all share.
There are other social media platforms. If Twitter bans Trump, he can just spread lies on another platform. Since he's the POTUS, millions will follow and Twitter will lose billions of $. The only way to deplatform Trump is to vote for Biden in November.
A) this is not a scientific survey of google but on how the campaign's email messages. Each campaign is scored on how 'spammy' the message is. So you are blaming Gmail for the same message algorithm they use for every piece of mail and say Pete is the overall winner just means their campaign did a better job at beating the algorithm. Something you can test for with places like https://mailtrap.io/ I don't know if that is something that should be a google thing.

This book consists of converstions from 2007 to like 2012 of regular groups in Wisconsin where one lady, the author, talks to them and asks them questions about Scott Walker, public employees, liberal cities like Milwaukee and Madison, and the influence those cities have.
Pretty good book and pretty short too, like 200 pages. There was a lot of juicy political events in wisconsin over this time period so its a really special book.
He was a very busy man when it came to dealing with Marxists.
Edit: Marxists in the general sense, because that's was the plan all along since the beginnings of the Cold War, eliminate left wing power to insure global hegemony.
The book "The Jakarta Method" goes into detail and is a very nice overview of this often overlooked part of the cold war.
>The Jakarta Method makes clear some basic points that popular conceptions of history get wrong. The Cold War was not won, capitalism was not spread, the U.S. sphere of influence was not enlarged just by example or even by Hollywood promotion of something desirable, but also significantly by murdering masses of men, women, and children with dark skin in poor countries without getting U.S. troops killed which might have caused someone to start caring. The secretive, cynical CIA and alphabet soup of unaccountable agencies accomplished almost nothing over the years through spying and snooping — in fact those efforts were almost always counterproductive on their own terms.
>The tools that overthrew governments and imposed corporate policies and sucked out profits and raw materials and cheap labor were not just propaganda tools and not just the carrots of aid to brutal dictators, but also, perhaps first and foremost: the machete, the rope, the gun, the bomb, and the electric wire.

The Shining Path of Peru is pretty terrifying too. Heres a video on it. The Peruvian communist party goes off the rails.

This is a great book on Chilean history too, came out this year and is a number one best seller in Chilean History.
I read this book recently
https://www.amazon.com/Jakarta-Method-Washingtons-Anticommunist-Crusade/dp/1541742400
And it has been really good in explaining why many communist nations collapsed, or had to get more radical to survive during the Cold War, from Pinochet to Pol Pot and many other rises and falls of leaders.
It is very enlightening and only $20.
He explains it a lot better than I could, and theres even some recently uncovered things in there.

Exactly! Given that Kanye was apparently diagnosed with Bipolar disorder (*I am in no way making fun of mental illness), that he would be allowed in a presidential campaign, should be absurd and not allowed. We know Trump also has (obvious, but not officially diagnosed) mental illness with co-morbidities going on. To be a leader of a nation, there needs to be a mental fitness evaluation requirement. This should be required for anyone before they quality to campaign. Period. Being chronologically 35 or over, means nothing when mentally, someone is 7 years old, and [probably] morbidly narcissistic.
If we survive this nightmare, let this be a wake-up call to everyone, that serious change must come.
I'm reading (borrowed from my library back in February), this inspiring, hopefully and eye-opening book about changing the future of voting in the US: https://www.amazon.com/Vote-US-Elections-Change-Future/dp/1633885100
:-)
We added a Noise Gate (experimental) to our audio recorder apps. You can try how it performs.
However, you may want to try these variations on that first:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.stereomatch.voice.changer.gaming Voice Changer for Gaming
Click Help - Gaming for help connecting to PC (using AUX cable), or PS4/XBox, or another mobile gaming phone (using AUX cable and Y-splitters).
The apps now include a Noise Gate button - by setting Threshold you can eliminate the noise between utterances.
So basically you use the app as a filter between your mic and the output to your XBox controller - check out Help - Gaming which has diagrams - how to connect AUX cable and Y-splitter to plug into headset port on the XBox/PS4 controllers.
I'm going to link you to a book by Geofrey Ward - an actual, you know, historian - with supporting interviews, images, and documentation.
The Soviets invading Manchuria a thousand miles away was of course a factor in the their final decision to surrender.
Saying it was a bigger factor than their emperor(and all of Tokyo) being blown up by a nuclear bomb is patently ridiculous.
Yes, I've understood as much my friend.
I would however advise against that particular approach, as I do not think it will serve you all that well -- at least in the long run. You will most likely end up simply antagonizing your opponent far too often by misrepresenting their arguments or positions (Strawman fallacy). It can guarantee you that it is far more worthwhile to engage someone with an open mind, and as few preconceived notions as possible, thus slowly working yourself toward a more accurate understanding of what they truly believe.
My advice would be to pick up a something like the Bertrand Russell's "A History of Western Philosophy".
I also wanted to ask you though, are you watching Democracy Now as well? To this effect, do you know who any of these people are: Noam Chomsky, Tariq Ali, Howard Zinn, Gore Vidal, Arundhati Roy, Patrick Cockburn?
In my humble opinion, I don't think you'll be all that successful until you completely realign your ideological perspective. Maybe you will come to realize that we have a common enemy.
