Recipe from the Sweet Mary Jane cookbook (these are called "True Confections"), except the amount of peanut butter in each one is massive as written so I made twice as many bites with the same amount of PB. I used crushed peanuts to garnish because I had them left over from something else.
ETA recipe (was in a rush earlier):
Makes 48
Use a hand mixer to beat PB, cannabutter, salt, & vanilla. With mixer on low, add 2 c powdered sugar, then more if necessary so the "dough" is soft but not sticky. If it looks crumbly, take it out and knead it like bread dough a few times and it'll get nice and smooth.
Lay out 48 mini pretzels on a tray.
If you're trying to be precise with your dosage, weigh your dough and divide by 48, then weigh out small amounts in the right size.
Roll the weighed out chunks into smooth balls and put them on the pretzels you laid out. Top each with another pretzel and press down so they stick nicely.
Put in fridge for 1/2 hour so they firm up.
Melt chocolate chips & shortening in microwave for 30 sec, stir, do it again, etc until it's smooth.
Dip one side of bites into chocolate & place them back on the tray chocolate side up. Dust with crushed peanuts etc while chocolate is still warm. Put the tray in the fridge for another 30 min until chocolate is solid.
That's it! Weighing out the dosed PB dough is the most tedious part; the rest is no big. And yeah, you really do want to keep eating them so maybe don't dose them too high so you can eat a few.
This is super easy. I got the gem molds on Amazon. microwave 3 Jolly Ranchers till melted, squirt in your (decarbed) concentrate or tincture, mix, and pour into mold. Buy some ring pops and remove the candy, stick the ring in the mold let sit and voila :)
Hey guys, I can’t really share my red velvet recipe as it’s private but you can achieve this with a box mix. Just add half a cup of homemade buttercream to a cake mix, mix thoroughly until you can form shapes with the new, “dough.” Press firmly into these molds: Popsicle Molds Silicone Ice Pop Molds BPA Free Pack of 2x4 Mini Ice Pop Maker Cakesicle Mold with 100 Wooden Sticks for DIY Ice Cream, Oval https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08DWKVG2K/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_YNDMFbJ6B939G?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1. freeze overnight and then dip in ganache (:

Been using this one: V-fox 40-Cavity Square Caramel... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B077FYHMHS and each square measures an exact tablespoon, so if a recipe calls for 2oz butter, i just pop 4 of those squares in the recipe. I have several dozen individually saran wrapped in my freezer, ready to go!
What I do is, buy a gram of concentrate, it usually contains around 750-900 MG of THC
That goes for around $18+Tax
I mix it with a little bit of coconut oil and decarb it in this machine
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07Q3SYQ45/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
There is a slight smell but nothing overwhelming, you can also decarb in an instapot which also contains the smell somewhat, with concentrates it's not nearly as smelly as regular cannabis extraction.
So buying 1 Gram of concentrate for around $20 at 800MG of THC
I can make 24 edibles at about 30MG each which is quite the money saver.
Some companies do not have a good reputation when it comes to creating their concentrates, (pesticides, mold issues etc...) So you would have to do a bit of research, those will usually be the cheaper ones, you could pay $25-30 for 1 gram for some of the higher quality extractions too.
Regardless I try to go with wax over shatter or other concentrates because it's easy to handle.
You could also buy oil syringes which are already activated and you can eat the oil directly, without making edibles, they are usually like $30 for 750-900 MG, I think that could be a good option for you.

When I pour the mixture in to the molds I just pour right in to the middle, little by little. I use a big metal spatula to smooth out the mix in to each well. This definitely takes some practice. I made four batches and the last batch always looks way more efficient than the first.

Made coconut oil with 8g of ABV I had in a mason jar, substituted coconut oil in the recipe for the cannacoconut oil I made.
Also used this app to help work out the potency.
They work and taste great, also very minimal smell while baking. Mostly got whiffs of cinnamon while baking. Recipe made 16 squares with a 1/2 cup of oil!
First, get an oven thermometer to see what temperature your oven is really getting to. They're like 5 bucks, very worth it.
Second, if you're asking about decarbing at 300, yes you can do it, but there's a much smaller window of time to get max decarb. Everyone always links to this chart or you could look at this paper (free download).
Third, if you're talking about the actual cooking, I wouldn't worry about it unless the internal temperature of what you're cooking gets over 250 or so, which basically never happens except when making candy.
From a study titled ("Cannabis tea revisited: A systematic evaluation of the cannabinoid composition of cannabis tea" in the Journal of Ethnopharmacology published in 2007)[https://archive.org/stream/CannabisTeaRevisited/Cannabis%20Tea%20Revisited%20-%20Hazekamp_djvu.txt]
>An important drawback of tea preparation is the very lim- ited solubility of cannabinoids in water (Garrett and Hunt, 1974; Hazekamp and Verpoorte, 2006). In order to stabilize the compo- sition of cannabis tea, the addition of solubilizers was evaluated. Previous studies have shown that the addition of cyclodextrins is a promising way to increase the water solubility of several cannabinoids, including THC and THCA (Mannila et al., 2005; Hazekamp and Verpoorte, 2006), suggesting that addition of cyclodextrins can stabilize the levels of THC and THCA dur- ing storage. Therefore, the addition of 1% and 3% (w/v) of randomly methylated beta-cyclodextrin (RAMEB) to standard tea was evaluated. Other common types of cyclodextrins were previously shown to be ineffective in improving the aqueous sol- ubility of THC (Hazekamp and Verpoorte, 2006).

Hmmmmm...did you fill them too much? I use gelatin ones from Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000QS5NJE/ref=od_aui_detailpages00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 I mix avb from my vape in a pot at low heat with a bunch of coconut oil, for about 45 minutes, mashing it down every few minutes and stirring. Then I filter it through a colander. I then use a dropper and fill each capsule, you fill the larger half almost to the brim and then close it. Make sure you get NO water at all anywhere near the process. Water makes them dissolve. I keep them in a bag at room temperature for months and have never had an issue with them liquifying or melting.
Hope that helps!
Can’t really share the recipe ATM because it’s proprietary and we’ve signed some things to keep it that way. If you DM me though, I’ll link you with a source for a starter recipe, something comparable.

ETA: a quick Amazon search though brought up this, looks about the same as I got for much less. There are a couple others that come in sets of 6+ bent tips but unless you’re planning on dropping them a lot on hard surfaces and needing backups, this is a steal for one of each.

Their process isn't optimal but I don't think it's bad either.
Decarboxylation happens best in a slightly acidic environment. Adding oil makes the environment more alkaline, which slows the decarb process. Adding water will bring the acidity to a more neutral level, so that will also slow down the decarb process.
For optimal yield, decarb dry, at 110C for 110 minutes. Read this paper for more information.
That said, their process will certainly work. The heat during the oil extraction will also cause some decarb to happen. If you leave it running for (much) longer than they do, you'll improve the decarb/extraction efficiency. Or you can just take the simple step of doing a 2 hour decarb in the mason jar BEFORE putting the oil in, then doing the oil extraction as described.
I choose 220F because the hysteresis window of most ovens can be as high as 10-20 degrees F, meaning some ovens can actually reach temperatures up to 10 degrees above the set point.
/u/dewbles and I had a conversation about it a while ago via PM's. Let me see if I can dig it up.
EDIT: It was very easy to find:
https://anonfiles.com/file/b84ff0c8e2aa28a8b814a8cb5d46e651
We didn't have any solid numbers but /u/Dewbles knew at least 200mg / ml of Coconut oil and i did some googleing and found that you could fit roughly 11g / cup of butter.
My numbers for butter were based off some googleing I did one day and the math resulting from it so i am not super confident in the math. My math works out to 47mg / ml of butter (this sounds a little low, but could also be accurate)
/u/Dewbles has made somethign with 200mg / ml of coconut oil so his comes from experience btu is not the absolute saturation point. As he mentioned in our PM's the liquidity of the mixture is going to become an issue at some point when there is more THC that coconut oil and it will become very sticky and hard to work with.
Just read some where else through the magic of google that butter can hold up to 70% of its volume in canabinoids. I don't really feel like doing the math on this one because I'm tired and want to watch a movie, but the number is there if someone wants to check it against my math above (49mg /ml of butter)
If you're interested in doing more research of this on your own google "Saturation point of THC in (butter / coconut oil)" (pick the on you want to know.
Also for those interested "Miscible" (mentioned in the PM above) means that THC and alcohol (ethonol) will always mix evenly. There is no saturation point with alcohol but at some point it will start to have the physical qualities of oil (sticky, snap and pull, taffy, etc) and not seem like a tincture any more.
Let me know if anyone finds info that says otherwise, this has been a question I have been interested in for a while.
I “grind” mine in a flour sifter. I grew my own last year during quarantine and it has seeds. The break the buds and sugar leaves up then toss then in the sifter. The sifter breaks up the buds and doesn’t allow any seeds or stems through. Probably not the ideal way to do it but if works for me and it’s what I had at home.
I use a regular kitchen scale to weigh my flower. Again, it’s what I already had on hand and works fine for me.
I simply followed this recipe using their flavorings. Added 6 grams of D8 mixed with 4ml of mct oil/1ml sunflower lecithin. I used this mold along with a dough bowl spatula to spread it evenly in the mold. After you pop them out of the mold I dusted them with granulated sugar and two teaspoons of citric acid. Shake them in a bowl or jar to remove any sharp edges that form.

Amazon. They have some great moulds but I like this because there’s no small bits that are going to get stuck and break off. They’re also the perfect size, there are 2 teaspoon or 10 ML.
For the 0P, because you’re doing quantity you might want to look at one of these. Sorry for the Amazon link. This is a game changer. When I take the the puck of highly compressed almost dry flower out of there I know I’m not leaving anything behind. I line it with a couple layers of cheese cloth, fold it over the top so the flower is contained inside of it before I screw the press down and that gets most of the debris out and then I’ll run it through a coffee filter before I run it through the still. This also works incredibly well for oil extractions you just want to make sure it’s hot so the oil is as thin as possible

I've used the strainer that came w my magical butter machine and found it had far too much waste. Instead, I use this bag—a yogurt making bag. It's very fine meshed and you can squeeze your oil out of it úntil the flower is dry. Just don't burn your hand squeezing. I use latex gloves which blocks the heat but let's me handle the ball of flower easier. It's rainbow sanding sugar from a local spice/baking supply store. I did 3 parts sanding sugar and 1 part regular sugar (1 cup total), then added a quarter tsp of citric acid for a bit of flavor contrast.
Found this stuff on Amazon, though try to find it locally if you can (I only paid $6 for the same amount).
I know. It seems like a lot, but math is math. I’ll be honest, I know I don’t get 100% extraction, but a batch makes so many gummies that it doesn’t make a huge difference to me. And I use individual small mason jars with a little over 1/4 cup in them since there will invariably be a little less coming out than went in. In the interest of being conservative, that 85% figure is probably safe. The batch I made tonight went into my bigger molds and it made 95 gummies. I used these Bear molds from Amazon, that each make 35 bears. I’m planning to add a little more liquid to the next batch so it will probably make more like 100-105 gummies. I also use a sous vide cooker. I’m not sure how much difference that makes when decarbing and infusing but it’s pretty exact in terms of temperature and it leaves basically no odor in my house.
It does work, just get a stainless steel one, you’ll be applying a fair amount of pressure. I got one of these. I’m never going back.

I know you weren't asking me but I just use a decarb machine myself
But you can do it in the oven in a Pyrex dish, you shouldn't have any issues with gases or anything, the amounts must be so small.
Actually, my latest go to method is ethanol extraction. I don't de-carb the flower, just freeze it and ethanol for 24 hours. Then I do two washes of fast and frozen QWET (quick wash ethanol). Basically pour ethanol into frozen weed jar, shake like hell for a couple of minutes, and filter through a coffee filter (I use a large kitchen hand sieve / strainer, the kind with a handle, to hold the filter and a smaller sieve above the filter to keep the bulk of the plant matter out of the filter). I push the plant matter back into the jar, and do a second wash just like the first. Then I use the jar to push down on the plant matter in the sieve after the second wash to squeeze out the remaining ethanol. If you were doing this to make dabs, you'd skip this step and shake softer and less. Anyway, you now have your QWET, which you then need to process. I used to use a casserole dish and fan in a well ventilated area for 12 to 24 hours to evaporate, but now I use a table top distiller and some PTFE sheeting to reclaim the ethanol for reuse while also de-carbing the extract. Links below to what I use. I just run it on the highest water setting until all of the ethanol is completely gone, and then another 10 minutes after that to finish de-carbing. Works awesome. Keep in mind, though, that you still need to mix or eat with a fat of some sort to make it bio-available. I typically just mix it 50/50 with sun flower lecithin and then it's good to go.

Not plugging. Not shilling. This shit was a game changer for me. Take 3 pills 30 mins before you ingest your edible and you’ll be sky high. I use these pills when I’m bulking to keep my appetite high and decided to use them with my edibles one night. Ate half as much as I usually do and I was absolutely fucked.
Also you may want to consider that edibles aren’t for you. Some folks lack a certain enzyme in their liver that processes THC.
Amazon. I use these:
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07KLJJ96C/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_fabc_lB09FbTM16Q15?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
They all leak some minor amount. After I take them out of my capsule filler, I "close" them by manually pressing the ends until it clicks. Some of them pop back out and leak a bit, but not a major problem.
Great job on your first try. What store would you go to in the UK if you wanted to buy something like dishes or pots...they may have them. I think it took me around 9 months to find it myself. Also, heres 9 feet of it available on amazon :)
I haven't tried gummies before. I'm actually waiting on a delivery from UPS today for gummy bear molds from Amazon. I got these from Amazon.
Planning something a little different than just using canna oil though...
My plan is to make shroom tea (I make a lot of mushroom edibles too), and use that for the 'water' part of the gummy recipe, and medicated coconut oil for the THC. The goal is to work out a nice balance of THC and psilocybin for nice euphoric "recreational" gummy bears.
I'll be trying them next week when I get a chance to sit down and make everything. If it works out, maybe I'll post the recipe here on /r/treedibles if it'd be welcome. The rules don't necessarily mention anything about cooking with other psychoactive drugs.
I just did two test batches using these ($8.99 on Amazon). It's three molds with 53 bears each. Each bear is 1/2 teaspoon, so the total volume for all three molds is 1.66 cups. That's your available volume for both the liquid and the gelatin, so you have to account for both. The gummy recipe that seems to work best is 3/4 cup water plus 2 tablespoons of tincture, and then one 3.75 ounce flavored Jello packet and two .25 ounce unflavored gelatin packets.
Amazon, can’t wait to make the whole tray :)
Edit:fixed the link
You should really invest in a slow cooker. They can be extremely cheap! This one on Amazon is only $9 before shipping. https://www.amazon.com/Maxi-Matic-MST-250XW-Cuisine-2-Quart-Round-Shaped/dp/B0006A2ZR0/ref=sr_1_4?s=home-garden&ie=UTF8&qid=1537481461&sr=1-4&keywords=slow+cooker
You can also get cheap ones at any Walmart or Target.
I put my weed into the slow cooker, put the butter in, cover it all with water. Cook on high until it bubbles, then turn to low until I go to sleep, then keep on warm all night.
Throughout the process I stir every hour or so, except overnight. I'll stir in the morning.
In the morning I unplug the slow cooker and let it cool off. In an hour or two I line a tupperware container with several layers of cheesecloth. I ladle the mixture into the tupperware first; then when the ladle scrapes the bottom, I pour the rest from the slow cooker into the container, put the slow cooker crock into the sink.
Carefully I pick up all four corners of the cheesecloth and lift it and the plant material out of the container. I use an all-temperature silicone oven glove on my right hand to squeeze every last drop of oil and water out of the cheesecloth, then discard the cheesecloth.
I cover the tupperware and put it in the fridge for several hours.
The green butter separates to the top and solidifies. Water gets thrown out.
Later I break up the butter and re-melt it on the stove, and funnel it into pretty glass jars to put in the fridge. If I don't put the butter into jars, it stays in the freezer so it doesn't develop mold in the fridge over time.
Tbh with you. I always wanted to make gummies - never did but also digged deep in the topic. If you wanna achieve your goal
use stuff like this

LorAnn is making nice stuff. Also dig through their nice flavours.
You are looking for mold inhibitor for candy/gummies. :)

So basically. Inhibitor, a proper curing/drieing phase and sugaring them with loose sugar. There is not much more you can do. And maybe freeze them vacuum sealed for longest term.
I add a 1/4 tsp of mold inhibitor to my gummies and they are shelf stable for months. Search for it on Amazon it’s a life saver.
Edit: Here’s a link
I'm a big fan of just pouring my infused coconut oil into a silicon mold and calling it a day. They will hold their shape in a tupperware in the fridge, and just eat them as needed. It doesnt taste bad at all, yet since it doesn't taste GREAT, I'm not tempted to overindulge or anything.
edit: I really like the 126 cavity mold in this Amazon listing. Makes dosing simple and reliable
I decarbed my cannabis (7-14 Grams) in an Ardent Nova. Then extracted using refined Coconut oil and a magical butter machine. I find this to be the easiest way, but you don't have to do that though. There are other methods to make Cannabis infused coconut oil.
This is the best tasting peanut butter I have ever tasted.
The recipe:
Homemade Cannabis infused Peanut Butter
Ingredients:
½ cup/120 ml Cannabis infused Coconut Oil (use refined coconut oil for neutral flavor)
20 ounces/570 g salted dry roasted peanuts
1 cup/240 ml superfine sugar (I have used granulated sugar with no problems)
⅓ cup/80 ml powdered peanut butter (such as PB2)
How to:
Put the peanuts into a food processor. Pulse for a full second 10-15 times; then process continuously for 5 minutes; then let rest for 5 minutes. Add the sugar, and mix while slowly drizzling the oil. Then mix for another 5 minutes. Add powdered peanut butter and repeat (mix 5 minutes, let rest for 5 minutes) once more, or until your peanut butter is smooth and creamy. Transfer your Homemade Cannabis infused Peanut Butter into a tight-fitting jar until you’re ready to enjoy!
Chef’s Note:
Stored in the refrigerator, your Cannabis infused Peanut Butter will keep for up to six months and never need re-mixing. If you prefer to store it at room temperature for up to one month, oil and solids may separate.
(I believe this recipe came from Magical Butter, but I received it from a friend)
You can obtain the peanut butter jars from Amazon but you obviously can use any container:

I would probably get different jars next time because as you see, I only filled one half way.

I don't know if there is hard data on how much lecithin to use per cup of oil, I just eyeball it, but I know you don't need much. I'd probably use a tablespoon per cup.
Wow this is exactly what I needed, thank you.
Funny that you mention the decarb machine, I literally just bought one off Amazon as I figured that would do a lot of the hard work for me.. all I would need to do, as you rightly pointed out, is ascertain temperature and times for each process.
I’d love to be able to use lab tested flowers however I’m based in the UK and we aren’t advanced enough to have those luxuries here! I always buy low-ish THC content, dry weed, or ‘mersh’ from an old Jamaican guy that I know, so I’m assuming that I’ll have to drastically alter my cooking times and temps compared to the usual bud most people use.
I bought this product (which will arrive sometime next week) after reading all the good reviews online.
Try to use more herbs 10-14 grams per one cup of oil (MCT oil preferably & don't forget the lecithin 1 teaspoon per 1 cup of oil)
or alternatively, try making tincture instead of edibles.

Heard some people prefer liquid soy/sunflower lecithin rather than granules, but by granules do they mean powder too? Was looking at this: https://www.amazon.co.uk/yourhealthstore-Premium-Sunflower-Lecithin-Recyclable/dp/B08QSG6VH5/ref=sr\_1\_8?keywords=sunflower+lecithin&qid=1663780205&sr=8-8
First off, tincture should stay good for many years if made with pure ethanol, even without freezing. Just keep in a cool, dark place. Gummies, even with the preservative, will be the fastest to go bad, but can absolutely be frozen. Like any other frozen food, best if you can use vacuum seal bags to minimize frost damage. I use one of these for all my edibles and concentrates, be it for the fridge or freezer: https://www.amazon.com/FoodSaver-31161370-Cordless-Handheld-Vacuum/dp/B0B48WB7ST/ref=sr\_1\_3?crid=1O7UMIG6MKZ3P&keywords=handheld%2Bvacuum%2Bseal&qid=1662507888&sprefix=hand%2Bheld%2Bvacuum%2Bseal%2Caps%2C136&sr=8-3&th=1
Same with chocolates, cookies and brownies, freeze away but the less air in the freezer bag the better. Hard candies actually have the longest shelf life, as there is no gelatin or other ingredients that "go bad". I would assume you could freeze those as well, although I've kept hard candies for many months at room temp with no issues.
Asian-themed grocery stores will often not only have powdered instant Thai iced tea (in packets), but also Thai tea in teabags! I love the teabags because not only do you get excellent tea (with the ability to add as much or as little sugar as you like), but the aroma is quite nice while the bag is steeping in the hot water.
The price for the tea bags on Amazon is actually not too horrible (60 bags for $14). (Amazon link)
Definitely number 1 but I use
Edit: Well not exactly those but similar
I don't own this on but if you look at the silver screen you can see it hits the bottom of the press.
This one would work but I'm sure there are cheaper options.
If you use it for coffee I suggest double wall stainless French press because glass cools quickly.
There are a few dehydrators that have a Fan Only setting. I use the Brod and Taylor Sahara, which also folds for storage. It’s pretty pricy (around $400), but worth it if you make a lot of gummies. Here a link: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07SQMVLFH/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&th=1
One of these is great if you’re doing any quantity. It exerts a tremendous amount of pressure so when you take your flower out at the end it’s basically dry.

Here you go. It was money well spent. I normally line it with a nut milk bag to filter out the finer particles. But you can also do a second filtration through a coffee filter. If you read the reviews on this thing it’s very clear lots of people are using it for Cannabis lol.
Do yourself a favor and buy yourself a Decarboxylation Box and then use this very simple THC calculator for edibles. As an example, 28g of cannabis that’s 25% THCA will give you 12 servings of 350mg each of whatever you’re making in the end, or 175mg each if you make 24 of whatever. After your flower is decarbed, it’s fully psychoactive and can be used in whatever you want to do with it (infuse it in butter or oil for edibles or in alcohol for a tincture, dip it in chocolate and eat it, etc). It’s super simple and you’ll kick yourself in the ass for ever spending money on dispensary edibles in the past lol. I personally just scoop a big ole heap of butter into my tea each morning and i’m literally on a different planet for most of my work day (thankfully it allows for such)!
From this cookbook: https://www.amazon.com/Edibles-Small-Modern-Cannabis-Kitchen/dp/1452170444?ref_=d6k_applink_bb_dls&dplnkId=4ad87897-88ba-488e-a31e-38d506900a67
I used scallions instead of green garlic and all cannabutter instead of part. (:
I will totally be making these again. Next time filling them with something.
Triton is the best and most accurate scale for anyone. The one I loved the most for portability, durability, and reliability was the Triton T2 550g
If stored in a cool, dark place and not exposed to oxygen (sealed container works) a well-made alcohol tincture can last years, some as long as 10.
The biggest culprit being loss of potency over time where it's no longer effective. I use Everclear to make mine and let it reduce by half before storage. This is done by simply allowing the alcohol to evaporate naturally from the container (in a well-ventilated area) with the lid off and a piece of cheesecloth covering the opening.
I also use 2 oz amber glass bottles to store it in after the reduction this is an example of what I use for long term. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00V73OA6O/
Hope this helps,
Peace!
Yep lol
DIY Giant Gummy Bear Mold by Mister Gummy | PREMIUM Quality Silicone + 2 RECIPES and 5 GIFT BAGS Included | Make BIG Bear Treats! (Gummy, Cakes, Breads, Chocolates, and More) (Red) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0711GYFMF/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_i_0ZNQQQEPX1B6WFZ72KGM?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
- [ ] 1 pack of Jolly Rancher jello - Watermelon
- [ ] 4 packets of Knox unflavored gelatin
- [ ] 3/4 cup Minute Maid Watermelon juice
- [ ] 8-10 drops of watermelon candy flavoring
- [ ] 2 tbsp vegetable glycerin
- [ ] 1- 1 1/2 tbsp citric acid
- [ ] 1/4 tsp potassium sorbate mix (3:1 water:potassium sorbate pellets)
- [ ] 1/4 cup light corn syrup
- [ ] 1g Hybrid distillate at 75% THC
In a medium/large mixing bowl add 3/4 cups of water or juice. Sprinkle over 4 packets of Knox unflavored gelatin, do not mix. On top of that sprinkle over the flavored Jello packet, still not mixing. Let that sit for 5 minuets. While the gelatin “opens” I add 1/4 cup of light corn syrup, 2tbsp vegetable glycerin, watermelon flavoring and 1/4 tsp of potassium sorbate. The sorbate makes it shelf stable. To make it sour add 2-3tsp of citric acid.
After 5 minute, gently fold everything together and add to a cold sauce pan. Turn the heat to medium. while it’s warming up I’ll add my Concentrate/Distillate/RSO/FSHO. Gently mix everything together trying not to make air bubbles. Bring the mix to a light bubble. After about 1 1/2 to 2 minutes turn off the heat. While hot pour the mix into a candy mold dusted with cornstarch to prevent sticking. Place in the fridge for 15min+.
Lastly, take them out of the mold and sprinkle very lightly with cornstarch to help keep them from sticking to everything.
Everything can be found at a grocery store except these:
Candy mold: https: www.amazon.com/dp/B085TCL9F5?ref=ppx\_yo2ov\_dt\_b\_product\_details&th=1
Potassium sorbate: https://www.brewandgrow.com/potassium-sorbate-1-oz.html
I use this THC calculator! If you use Concentrate/Distillate/RSO/FSHO and not infused oil or butter you need to enter “48” in the “Teaspoons of oil in your recipe”.

This is what I use after I have made my candy and I mix ing my dist.

Shopping on Amazon is so hard recently with all the fake reviews and shit products.
These look ok tho. I’d definitely go with glass: 1ml Borosilicate Glass Syringe Anti-Leak Luer Lock Syringe Reusable Heat Resistant Tube Accurate Measuring Syringe for Labs, Use for Thick Liquids, Glue, Ink, Non-Medical Without Needle (20 Pieces) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08TBSTH7B/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_J0CVQZR3YFTQ7VYSR24Y?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
Honestly I’d say you should mix your feco with a tiny amount of MCT oil just to make it a little more liquid at room temp. Then put it in syringes.
A bit of advice when using your oven for cooking/decarbing something that may require precise temperatures. It's good to run a quick test before you commit your hard-grown/purchased smoke to a decarb in a sketchy oven. Can't hurt to use an oven thermometer and a dry run to make sure your oven isn't wildly off temp. Pay attention to large swings in temperature as well, older ovens can be bad for this. Test it!
Oven temperature gauges run about $7 on Amazon or Walmart.

The process itself is Simple. Big mason jar, a bunch of weed, cover it up with 94% ethanol and let it sit for a week. Shake it periodically
I use a screw press, it’s intended for wine making or I guess squishing vegetables or tomatoes, that way I can get the maximum amount of ethanol out of the flower. I use it for my butter extractions as well.
Once I have the ethanol separated I poured it through a coffee filter just to take the bits and pieces out.
Then it goes into a clean mason jar, you’ll see in the pictures there’s a silicone lid on there. That’s the fermentation lid they have those on Amazon. Silicone medical grade silicon tubing leads to the bucket still which cools off the condensate and drips out the other end. At least 94 proof. I want to get an alcometer and check it out just for curiosities sake
I use the sous vide to bring the water up to the correct temperature to get the ethanol boiling and then I just top up the water in the pot periodically until I get 3/4 to 7/8 of the ethanol back. I mix that with sugar, lay it out on a sheet until it’s dry, run it through the food processor to re-crystallize it and Bob is your uncle.
I’ve done white sugar, brown sugar, organic unbleached sugar, erythritol and Allulose.

I don’t know where we got ours but this one I found on Amazon is pretty much identical. Fat Daddio's PCMM-01 Candy Mold, 1.34" x .59" x .59", Translucent, Silver https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00DYVM7W6/ref=cm_sw_r_awdo_T8N65VNEW7GHTV1PV3ZS
I used this mold and just put them in the fridge to harden up. I was pleasantly surprised with the outcome.
Got them from Amazon. I use some canola oil to help release them a bit easier after resetting.
You can always heat and filter it again, to make it more clean, i use a french press for that, and then i put it through a funnel for fruits what has a fine screen to catch seeds, and that works like a charm! 🤗

This really worked great, thank you—it never occurred to me I could make oil caps, just assumed it would all leak out.
These are the caps I got if anyone comes along and wants to get supplies too: XPRS Nutra Size 00 Empty Capsules... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08QMYY6QM?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
I use a blunt tip syringe (a 1ml one) to fill The capsule. I personally use non gelatin capsule and have no issues with them melting from the coconut oil. I have some that have been sitting room temp since December and they are still intact. But the ones I consume regularly I put into a jar in the fridge the coconut nut oil hardens (guessing that is where you stored your bear shapes). Never had a problem with them melting the capsule unless I handle with wet hands. These are the capsules I use from Amazon

Love that stuff, very medicinal. When made from ABV is literally RSO aka FECO, Hash Oil, Cannabis Oil etc.
It’s fully activated and will kill many types of cancers when taken internally/externally.
Also works great to get baked. Like like to suck up the oil into small Borosilicate Glass Syringes for storage and easy application/dosing.
