I can't find the batches88 site but from what people online are saying, it seems very suspicious. Don't go here.
When I look up animeuniverses, I get a normal-looking clothing site.
Vital source is okay.
You can usually tell if a website is a scam or not based on the text. Does the text look like it was written by a foreigner (with poor grammar)? Is Every Word Capitalized? These kinds of sites are usually scams.
If you're looking into random sites for buying PDFs, you might as well look into free versions too. Library Genesis is a popular site for free PDFs and with a good amount of Google searching, you may be able to find free PDFs elsewhere.

Always buy a VPN-- free VPNs need to make money, and therefore you are the product. I recommend Private Internet Access and ProtonVPN.
If you had to go with a free VPN the ONLY one I would say is legitimate is ProtonVPN (proven track record)
Regarding #4:
I suggest myHomeworkApp.com it's what got me through college. It works on a browser, on iOS, on Android, and they also have Mac/PC apps. You can even subscribe to your homework calendar and your homework will show up on your personal calendar on your phone.
If they're flying into Love Field, there's a short bus ride that goes to the Green Line and is still about 3 hours total.
Also get the DART Regional day pass. There should be a ticket machine at the rail station or download the DART app. Regional passes work on Dallas, Denton, and Fort Worth public transit systems. $10 for a regional day pass last I checked.
Does this work for the second one (click one of the mirrors and get)? Also, you might want to wait until classes start to buy textbooks in case something changes.
I would start of at first by recommending they get one of these: https://www.amazon.com/Smoke-Buddy-0159-BLU-Personal-Filter/dp/B00478UIB2/ref=pd_bxgy_img_3/141-1765949-1655566?_encoding=UTF8&pd_rd_i=B00478UIB2&pd_rd_r=4ff95ef7-1386-40ea-a605-ad1aaed67c04&pd_rd_w=tl7UR&pd_rd_wg=jll2m&pf_rd_p=f325d01c-4658-4593-be83-3e12ca663f0e&pf_rd_r=NQ7QWESBNRZDXAFHNHXT&psc=1&refRID=NQ7QWESBNRZDXAFHNHXT

From my personal experience someone who indulges in the "devils lettuce" is not going to like it when you tell them they can't partake anymore specially in their own bedroom they pay for. That's why I beleive you are better off accepting that they smoke and help/assist them keep the smell away. For starters, you could order one of these yourself and give it to her as a gift, I'm sure she wouldn't mind using such a simple device, specially if you gift it. TBH she will prolly be more likley to use it so there are less issues about it going forward.
My 2 cents.
I am probably biased, but I totally agree that the Bhagavad Gita is worth reading! However, I feel the Hare Krishna translation (by Prabhupada) is far from the best one available - it's quite skewed toward a rather idiosyncratic "monotheistic" interpretation of the text.
Luckily for us, we live in the future where multiple great translations are available freely online - I'm personally a huge fan of this app: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.pratyush.android.bhagavadgita
It lets you read each verse with multiple translations or interpretations from reputable scholars simultaneously, and even provides a word-by-word glossary.
I took BLAW several years ago and OPSM recently, you can probably get away with not using a book for those if the prof doesn't assign problems from the book if you are taking really good notes, I remember for BLAW especially it was more supplemental, but that could have changed now...
I would recommend using https://libgen.is/ to find free pdf versions of books.
Great list! I also want to add the Pomodoro technique if you have a lot of stuff to get done. It incorporates frequent breaks and ensures time spent working is purposeful.
Here's the Rate My Professors for each of the profs for you to decide what to do: Neogi: Biol 3500 and Slye: Biol 2251
If you do not have a Dropbox yet, use this referal link to add bonus points to the UNT total. Disclaimer: this benefits my storage capacity as well.
I'm an odd case, I started and stopped a couple times before I finally graduated and that took me twenty years. I had most of a degree long before I knew that UNT existed so this isn't a fair comparison.
I believe you need 12 classes for one major and 12 classes for the other. The core material is the same regardless. so that translates to ~42 total classes or ~126 total credit hours. This is around 16 credit hours per semester for the entirety of your four years (not including summers) at UNT.
So, here's what you do:
Work with these people for a plan should there be a scheduling conflict between the two degrees or should it be possible to use a course as a dual purpose credit toward both degrees so that you have an efficient course of action planned. It does happen and I think it is the only way a math/physics combination is possible.
Also, remember that the coursework for your Junior and Senior years is often the most challenging so do not lead out by getting all of your core curriculum out of the way. You'll want to reserve an easy course to take opposite a difficult one to give yourself more time to focus on the harder one. Day planners or aps like HABITICA are a huge help for making sure you don't miss deadlines.
You're going to use the Genki 1 (3rd edition) textbook and workbook along with the Kanji Look and Learn textbook/workbook.
However, I would caution you against preemptively buying textbooks before the semester starts. Many professors will require books in the syllabus that are never used in class. On top of that, I wouldn't buy textbooks when you can rent them. Most textbooks will only be used for one semester so it's not worth paying full price.
Additionally, if you can get away with using a digital version (found through libgen or other sources), do it. Libgen books are free and if you are charged for a digital version, it's usually cheaper than physical.
I rent my physical textbooks from Voertman's which has good prices.
In terms of Japanese, if you're planning to continue taking Japanese courses into 2000 or 3000 level, I would buy Kanji Look and Learn rather than rent it since you continue using that book (+ workbook) in the higher levels.
I got mine off of Amazon. I wouldn’t do anything less than 8-12 inches with this one though, unless you have a nice topper you can use.
Best Price Mattress 12 Inch Memory Foam Mattress, Calming Green Tea Infusion, Pressure Relieving, Bed-in-a-Box, CertiPUR-US Certified, Full https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00GSCEJY2/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_H2JW04BWM72296HJT8Q7?psc=1
I gave some stats before but I'll give some more:
>In 1992-2002, over 2,000 of the persons interviewed disclosed they had been raped or sexually assaulted. Of them, only 26 volunteered that they used a weapon to resist. In none of those 26 cases was the rape completed; in none of the cases did the victim suffer additional injury after she deployed her weapon.
Via National Crime Victimization Survey
I would say that it is hard to say if it would prevent all rapes or assaults, but people are preyed upon because they are seen as an opportunity, and a risk/reward mental calculation is done by the predator. You don't need much training to shoot a glock into a stomach less than a foot away.
Also, per Gary Kleck, a liberal sociologist who studies gun crimes, less than one percent of defensive gun use results in the defender being disarmed by the assailant(s).
Otherwise there is the Bus Tracker website
Same feeling, one girl in a few of my classes was a major anime head, and came to class dressed as a cat girl n all that shit. She even had a little pocket dictionary, but it was called Dirty Japanese and she was weirdly proud of having it and showing it off (and using it -_-) in class.
And to top it all off! One semester we were supposed to make a little sketch/video project for our final. And she strong armed her group into making their project about someone swapping their japanese textbooks for...sigh...H*ntai manga..... This was something that was watched by not only our native from Japan professor, but the entire class. I've never heard a room go so silent in my life.
I think it depends on your degree plan at UNT.
Is the course numbering similar? Meaning: 1000 or 2000 level courses? Usually, if it’s a 1000 level course required at the transfer institution, it’ll transfer. But if they want a 2000 or 3000 level course, it might not.
For NCTC, did you see if you could meet with a major-specific advisor? It’s sometimes faster that way. https://calendly.com/bealion
I have a pc for sale or trade. This would be a decent gaming pc (It can play starcraft 2 etc.) or a cheap starting point for an easy upgrade. Components:

Custom Water cooling loop. (needed for current overclock at 3.2 GHz, can be removed and replaced with air cooler by me).
Memory - 2 x 2GB DDR2 1066
Missing - A hard drive. I have an old 74GB raptor you can have if you want. Also, I will give you a new/valid windows 7 license.
Edit: This is sold! I'll probably delete this topic soon.
Sure, post what you need here. I don't think there's a rule against it. Make sure you've checked libgen or searched Google with what you need in quotes or with "filetype: pdf" in your search.
MUET 3020. There are built in extra assignments such as taking 10 people to the talent show that will get you an A in the course. If Sovik hasn't changed it, its online. If you are willing to put in work for looking (maybe a hour) you can check comments on things such as http://www.ratemyprofessors.com/ and then compare it to the syllabus. You can look up most classes syllabus' by searching the UNT faculty profile of said professor on their site or just type it into google. SOCI 3000-3300 are typically very easy online courses as well.
fitocracy is a great fun workout resource as well. But I think that OP is just trying to find a physical workoput buddy to help motivate her to go, working out with someone really does help a lot of people feel more motivated.
Hi Master's,
Marinara (and the pomodoro technique) is great, and we use it at Weava all the time- both in terms of actual work and also to break up our meetings. Another tool (a bit of self promotion here) that helps you stay organised and (to not go insane) is Weava, which helps you stay organised by being able to highlight, annotate and organise the internet (and PDFs) to help support your work, your research or perhaps hobbies you care about. It basically helps you organise by being able to highlight parts from any website or PDF, make annotations and organise it into folders- all within your chrome browser. It is easy to use and helps avoid any unnecessary tedious time spend on copying and pasting material into long unorganised documents- or simply forgetting about key materials you had read and got some ideas out of.
Weava is free to use and currently has over 150,000 users. You can learn more and download the chrome extension : https://www.weavatools.com/
Have a great day, and thank you for sharing the pomodoro technique with the community. We are sure it will help many here. Thanks.
Just a heads up, you can use this site: https://freedns.afraid.org/ to get a free custom IP, I used to use it for my Minecraft servers back in the day!
Click on subdomains, and pick A for the type, then pick a name and subdomain and enter the destination IP.
Check this out : https://tinychat.com/room/gottastudy (password : getstudying)
It's an amazing community with people all over the world and from different fields (medical, biology, computer science, law ...) the users either share their desktop screen or put camera on to avoid slacking while study periods. and eventually they can chat and help each other during breaks :)
It sounds like you may need to reach a sign in page that isn't loading. I've had the issue a few times with eaglenet at DiscoPark. If this is the case, I can't remember what my exact solution was, but try using some of the tips on this page and see if that works. If not, try disconnecting and reconnecting to the regular Internet without using the router and see if a login/sign in page pops up. If so, type the link into your other devices browsers and see if you can login that way.
EDIT: If this is what you're trying to do, try to follow the steps there and see if that works.

I've had issues with UNT blocking different games, but I use a VPN so thats no longer an issue. I'd reccomend using a VPN all the time even at home, and I personally use Mullvad VPN. Also, install ublock origin, HTTPS everywhere, and privacy badger, all from the electronic frontier foundation to protect your privacy
Like /u/maXoc4 said, if you're just swapping out the head unit (the portion with screen and buttons), it should be pretty simple. I have this one from Amazon in my Jeep. Cost $25 pllus a $16 wiring harness from Best Buy. About an hour to do.
I have seen what appears to me nice ones in Amazon. For example this one is not bad. https://smile.amazon.com/Diploma-Frame-Protected-Certificates-Documents/dp/B07Y4ZN52D
Congrats on your graduation!!
I got one off Amazon for $30ish. Lemme add the link here: Retrospec Quip Skateboard 27"... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07RQVXJPP?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
you’ll want to also buy the tool to loosen/tighten the wheels: Zeato All-in-One Skate Tools... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B072LY5824?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
Welcome to the club, I have scoured the Internet for the best setup and I would recommend this bundle from Amazon. A little about mechanical keyboards, the patents went out for the key mechanisms opening up the market for other manufacturers. The keyboard alone is worth the $40 keys are replaceable and feel amazing. only con is it does not have the additional number keys that some keyboards have but found this to be perfect for gaming because i can keep my mouse hand closer.
I'm using Private Internet Access and a personal VPN that tunnels me to my home. Both work for me, as they use L2TP.
I would stay away from VPN services like Windscribe and Hola. Free VPNs have not been very useful in my experience. $40/year for VPN access is well worth the cost.
So I've been battling the roaches myself and from talking to others student living apartments that's just going to always be an issue. I actually just bought a bottle of this and I'm going to be applying it today to my apartment, if it goes well I'll let you know.
Another option is to use a small portable washer and/or dryer. A long time ago I bookmarked this from a blog post: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00AW04ZMM/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_REqwzb0BYBFNR Just a suggestion. :)
Also, if you need extra practice with writing, it helps to have the Campus Notebooks-the kind they use in Japan. https://www.amazon.com/books-Pakkuno-30S10-5X5-Kokuyo-Campus-Application/dp/B0012OTICE/ref=pd_sim_229_3?_encoding=UTF8&pd_rd_i=B0012OTICE&pd_rd_r=XYQTYE4Q2E2KDN44DKK2&pd_rd_w=Z7IIR&pd_rd_wg=wjRUe&psc=1&refRID=XYQTYE4Q2E2KDN... The reason is that you should be able to write the characters in the squares -one character per square. There is also a few workbooks, children level, on Amazon if you want to spend a few more bucks to use them for extra practice. https://www.amazon.com/Hiragana-Katakana-Workbook-Elementary-Workbooks/dp/B00WX1SB8C/ref=sr_1_11?ie=UTF8&qid=1501126710&sr=8-11&keywords=japanese+notebook
A U Lock with a steel cable can get the frame and both tires.
Have: (WTS)
When the Little Things Count & What Color is your Parachute (Ltec 3???, personal development fall 2012, $15) (easy online course if you still need hours)
Frames of Reference (intro to art, art 1300, $40)
Physics for Scientists and Engineers part one and two (phys 1710 e7 and 2220 e8, with solution manuals, $45 each)
Technical Editing (tecm 4180?, $60)
Technical Communication (tecm 2700, $25)
Business Statistics (dsci 2710, need to discuss as there is included software, probably $125-code cost from the bookstore)
Based my prices on what Amazon would give me if anyone is curious, and course numbers may not be correct, they are what I took when I needed them.
No, it's this one. Some professors do let you use older versions of textbooks though.
