Being condescending isn't a response, especially when you're not even correct.

It's from french. It doesn't refer to someone from the United States in particular. Many of the notable founding fathers were called elder statesmen, which is probably where you're getting the idea, but a statesman is not necessarily an American.
I'm going to go ahead and disagree. I present the following sources as rebuttal Wikipedia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Time-lapse_photography Oxford dictionary http://www.oxforddictionaries.com/us/definition/american_english/time-lapse?q=time-lapse
Edit: Progression:yes. Time-lapse: not at all.
No, I'm pretty sure he's a Christian.
I know exactly what you mean, I have searched for a long time to find a good converter.
MainConcept Reference. Easy great interface, but also has complex advanced features. I think you can even download it for free, with out the use of certain codecs, but can always pirate it. Make sure to get V.2
Another great tool is MeGUI, it is extremely flexable (and free), and updates with all sorts of open source codecs, also works well with AVIsynth.
I played around with this in college. There are several ways to achieve this, but it sounds like they used in-ear mics for this one. In my labs I used Csound's hrtfer.. it's a fun topic.
> This was from a local Seattle show called "Almost Live" which ran for about 15 years here. So needless to say, everyone in the sketch is a celebrity here in Seattle.
>Almost Live was Bill Nye's big break, and also where he created the whole "Science Guy" thing. About every other week, he'd do a sketch with some fun application of a science principle -- all decked out in his trademark blue lab coat and "Safety Goggles of Science". He'd blow things up, build huge catapults, all those things that our favoriate high school science teachers loved to do, and the audience ate it up.
>I miss "Bill Nye the Science Guy." For that matter, I miss Almost Live -- it finally went off the air a few years ago.
