If you don't already know it, Erfworld is one of the best deepest and best constructed fantasy webcomics out there. Books 1 and 2 are already online in all their glory. Have a read, and if you like them as much as I do then check out the kickstarter to make book 3 a reality.

I tend to do them in batches, then queue them up to release every week on smackjeeves. Once a chapter finishes I put it up on a few other sites like tapas. I've got it made up through part 59 (which would carry the comic through the rest of the year). I also have ideas for another two chapters which usually works out to 10ish strips of 4. I'll kind of just keep going until I no longer enjoy making it.

no, etymologically the "pet dog" usage occurs around 300 years earlier than the "pet the dog" one, so that much is definite. the connection is just layman speculation on my part.

Patchwork Family is a 4 panel slice of life comedy series, taking alot of inspiration from stuff like Azumanga Daioh, and Yotsuba&!

It follows the everyday lives of Sarah, her younger brother Sammy, her girlfriend Tiffany and two cat girl sisters, Neko and Nia.

Started this webcomic back in 2007, working on it off and on between computer issues over several years, in 2018 I managed to complete the story arc and published the first 63 pages as Vol. 1

I began work on vol 2 soon after, but ran into another delay after finishing page 70, finally getting back to it 3 years later, when I completed up to page 86, wrapping up the arc for Vol 2.

Those are fake. THESE are real women's cargo pants. My granddaughter bought herself some for Christmas. She's a student in robotics engineering and always has a ton of junk and little tools to schlep around.

I believe there's a certain amount of crazy involved with anything creative. But giving ourselves a task such as this is simply complete madness. But also a lot of fun!

I don't think so...If you read the intro to the updated version, it talks about the dynamics of it & how she basically backed into the first three books due to the little bit of history she included in the fourth. Look at the preview here -- it's super interesting!
