will share how i got this since i'm not sure what the deal was:

there's a website that's sorta like a mix of pandora and spotify called Slacker. however this site is notorious for making stuff available that's not even out yet. however this wasn't the case for this track. it had it's release date marked as July 21st. but the track never came out on his soundcloud or any other store.

since i don't have a premium account (and i don't plan to) for this bullshit i clicked the "start radio" button hoping it would play the actual song like pandora sometimes does, and it actually did. so this is basically just a stereo mix recording of when it played the song.

So, I just noticed my 320 of this looked really shitty, went to look for a better quality version.

It's only on this fucking Promo CDR of which of course nobody has posted a link anywhere.

I found it in some shitty polish online store in lossless and "bought" it for 2 Euros, which I'm pretty sure will go to the artist cough.

i think he means that this is just a sub for people to share unreleased music and people's subjective opinions about each individual song/post is irrelevant (which i agree with)

I use Brave. It is a browser that is based on Chrome with great adblock built in. I also use Private Internet Access as a second security measure, but only the Netherlands server seems to work with dbree.

Sorry for not delivering it, but I've found out a few things about this track and you might be interested. So, according to a SoundCloud comment and a tracklist on 1001 it's a What So Not ID (might be a collab with Little Dragon) and will be on the next WSN EP. Emoh played it at SXSW last year and at Holy Ship this year.

edit: Checked the discography thread on r/whatsonot and it's a WSN ID for sure. :) Hopefully it'll be on the next EP.

I use Media Player Classic - Black Edition I went through an 'alternatives to VLC' thread, and this was recommended in particular for its audio quality when its set up to use the MPC-BE audio renderer.

Side by side there was a subtle but discernible difference between it and VLC, the sound just had a lot better sense of space to it imo. Try it compared to your usual anyway, I love it now.

If you have a spare few hours its worth configuring to use as your video player too, there's some crazy awesome upscaling options when you use it with madvr. Here is a wiki guide I used as a start.

Ah, looks like there's a security measure to prevent people from using extensions not purchased from the store.

Give it a try, basically, open the extensions page by navigating to chrome://extensions/ and then drag and drop the crx file into the browser. If that doesn't work I'll try to get it onto the chrome store and repost tomorrow.
