For anyone who doesn’t know about the VIP program, just read this and explains everything. Basically you just do tasks like watch game trailers, check social media, enter codes, etc and it gives you points to trade in toward weapons and skins.
In the store, there are options for both "PC" and "PC Digital" on the standard edition, but only "PC Digital" for the higher editions.
It doesn't seem like PC can actually be selected for some reason.
Does that imply that there is a non-Epic way to buy it on PC, or is it just a mistake?

So I am pretty sure update is free. It would be really stupid to sell HC with a big discount now and then sell an updated version full price from 3rd April while the discount is on for older collection.

Ion Cannons, blast master (+Pull The Holy Pin, +Vampyr, +1 Redistribution), cloning Maddening tracker, last stand Otto idol, and a transformer. Stack splash damage, area of effect damage, grenade damage wherever possible. Instead of reloading, throw a couple grenades. Low on health? Throw a couple grenades. Get crits whenever possible with the ion cannons, after a few kills you should be doing 3-4 million damage via Overkill. Most I've managed is 8 million, but I'm not the best shot and am usually drunk while playing.
In the Borderlands VIP website, there's a "reward" place where you can have a random legendary weapon at each season or use your points to have a legendary of your choice.

I think its a mixture of both, the artwork and idea were probably cut during development, but in the interview about the scene with one of the gearbox writers they mentioned that when they brought the voice actors back in to actually voice the scene they touched it up a little.
So my guess is that during the touch ups they tweaked the script a bit to more closely match player frustrations, after all the scene in the directors cut seems to be too perfect of an answer to how players felt, espescially given that the rest of the main story writing was no where near that good.

Unfortunately, luck doesn't actually really do anything. =\
The best way to get artifacts and class mods now is to run the Trials. If you complete them fast with all optional objectives complete, the final chest is guaranteed to be all legendaries, and they have a very high chance to be class mods and artifacts. This is the easiest way to get a lot of them nowadays.
Since class mods and artifacts dont care about mayhem - only character level - you can just run these trials with mayhem off. I just use a M10 cloning hunter seeker grenade, and it instantly kill everything. You can blaze a trial in a matter of a few minutes.
As a bonus, almost all of the bosses drop a class mod of some sort as their dedicated drop, in addition to whatever you get from the final chest. I'd suggest looking at the item spreadsheet here, and depending on what character you're using, pick a run that will also give you a class mod you'd like from the boss.

Keep in mind that the true trials event is happening now, so you may possibly want to avoid the Trial of Instinct until thursday (when it will change to another trial), as the boss will be greatly buffed. Your call though.

So if I were speculating; Season 2 was a bit sparse compared to season 1. Of course covid was a major factor. And the company is busy with the Tina game but claim they will add more to Bl3. So it depends on how much time they are willing to invest in Bl3.
They aren’t adding much
- They make the LTU events toggle-able.
- Mayhem made easy and show me the eridium becomes a part of the game; some mayhem modifiers get replaced and eridium will become easier to farm.
They go all out
- They add a takedown in each season 1 dlc.
- Add a new difficulty mode. Mayhem 3.0?
- New base game takedown, CoS, and trial.
- A beefy patch to issues that have been asked for all gets addressed. Including buffs to lackluster cmods (which will add build potential).
Left field
- Enemy randomizer mode. Any game mod mode would be interesting.
- Pearls? At this point, why not? Either a very low percent drop rate or requires an amazing roll to be a good item would be fun to farm.
- They add a dlc VH even tho they said they wouldn’t.

You are missing out on a LOT of damage. Maybe try specing like this instead and see if it does better for you. The movespeed=damage bonuses alone add a LOT of damage. And you absolutely need to max out Donnybrook. Pocket Full of Grenades and Like a Ghost are useless and unnecessary, as is more than 1 point into Duct Tape Mod.

Under no circumstances am I saying it's any good. I found it online, literally copied it. I'm not very good at figuring out how skills synergize with each other or Items. But it's been working for me.
Currently for weapons I use a Resolute Monarch (not elemental ATM, looking for a better one) with Gamma Burst active 115% bonus radiation, a Clockwork Res (so I can revive pet), A Corrosive Lightshow with ASA 200%, and as per /u/e6hooch suggestion a Dark Army with 300/90.
Currently using a Faulty Star but going to try out his suggestion of a Messy Breakup, using Frothing Red Fang, I have the Ringer grenade on right now from the raid boss but usually use the MIRV Hex, class mod is Elemental Projector Otto Idol.

This was a non-issue in the Presequel so I‘m not personally too worried. If anything Wolf and the digijacks were a little overpowered
It also looks like FL4K will get one pet out at all times. His action skills are different so you won’t end up with your summon dying and wasting your action skill. From the borderlands site:

It's part of the Director's Cut. A recent update to it added a second vault card, one of the rewards on which is the Shlooter artifact.
That’s a good roll. Cryo has a higher base damage for elemental guns and N2M radiation is good bc it complements cryo dmg. And tbf, Amara and Fl4k can use N2m as well so it’s not a bad gun for either.
But yeah the meta is that it’s a Zane gun. You use the barrier with the gun, bc the special effect of the redistributor is that the 7th shot is amped. What people found out was the gun itself amps the 7th projectile and not that the 7th projectile is amped. Because the barrier amps all shots, every projectile gets the amp effect and chains to nearby enemies.
Mntis barrier builds with a seein dead and ASE elementals on shield and grenade will make the takedowns a cakewalk. That’s cryo, radiation and two more elementals on every bullet chaining to multiple enemies.
Nah, they're still on the first Vault Card, and it'll still be available even after they release others. 'Time oriented' just mean the daily and weekly challenges, such as kill 15 skags (daily example) or kill 250 enemies with a pistol (weekly example).

They said flat out <em>four</em> campaign DLC when the game was announced. There were no promises made for anything else, and they never said that would be all of them.
i don't think anyone here is going to be able to help you: you are right, per the about page for the ultimate edition&the DLC, it is supposed to include season pass 2, which includes arms race. you'll probably have to reach out to epic's customer service on this one though, as many people here have said that GB/2k will not help you if you purchased thru Epic, on basically anything.

Here is the idea. This setup has Iron Cub kill itself so Big Surplus comes on and you get insane bonus fire damage. The website doesnt have all the level 72 skill points, just finish up Drowning in Brass and put a point in Experimental Munitions.
Get some splash weapons and you're good to go.

For lots of reasons actually !
First is because the Calls weapons does the most damage when you deal critical damages (also get your ammo back), second because Zane's The Profesional skill tree is dedicated to crit damage (so there's tons of stuff to buff your crit damages, get your ammo back etc), and also because of the recently buff anointment +125% crit damage, which make the Calls weapons outshine a lot of weapons.

The phase 1 patch will be turning down the health/armor/shield increase that enemies get on higher levels of mayhem. They will also be buffing and nerfing guns. They will also be buffing some anointments. And mayhem levels should appear on item cards. Plus bugs and performance fixes.
All this is according to a post they put out like at the start of May, so we wont know the actual numbers until tomorrow.

I just hope this works as they say it should. I can't take another patch that makes performance worse for me and a lot of other people. This game is fun when it works, but since M2.0 it feels like the game could crash at any time so I stopped playing.
With the Loot the Universe event going on you can find increased class mod drops in The Droughts until 8:59am PST today (April 30th). After this the event switches to Promethea, and we'll have to go hunting to figure out where the drops are.

I play a crit Fl4k fadeaway and I either use the deadeye or the bounty hunter class mod with an electric banjo equipped. For guns I used the maggie, brainstormer, a x2 alchemist, and a corrosive cutsman. For my shield I like to use the transformer.
I can do the takedown on M1 with this the only annointed thing I have is ASE 15% life steal on the maggie. The class mods the only good roll I have is +31% pistol damage on the deadeye. Hope that helps in some way.

For anyone wondering wtf this guy is talking about, Maliwan weapons were undertuned at launch. Apparently they thought they might be too powerful with both damage and DoT so Gearbox reduced their damage significantly. They fixed it really early on. Ah here it is.
Looks like the cosmetics and other new stuff are only in the 'stand-alone' version of Tiny Tina's Assault on Dragon Keep.

Mobbing builds arent always good bossing builds... there are definitely some that excel at one and not the other. Many are fine for both, but without knowing anything about what you're playing, it's impossible to help pin down the issue.

Playing with Amara is awkward in this encounter. But I found using Phasecast with weapons that give you the damage buff works. I also used a Reflux for healing.
Its literally Moxsy’s updated Khoas Queen build.
Corrosive and Incendiary Monarch, a reflux and an incendiary Lightshow. Phasezerker, a Pearl and an it’s piss grenade.
Go all rounder. Drone is Zane’s worst action skill now if you have mntis cannon / purple tree. Make sure to trigger the mntis whenever your kill skills go down, which will be often bc I normally don’t use blue tree capstone. You can take points out of red tree if you feel the barrier keeps you safe enough.
I would add a light show with n2m to your loadout. I know you’re going full Maliwan but with a hustler, the light show will perform much better. Any fast firing multi pellet gun works best with the hustler.
Recursion is hit or miss for me too. You need to have several targets in the area to get the most out of it.
Nice to see I’m not the only one with shock moze. I mostly use rocketeer and have a shock splash build, geared for high bear damage with railguns (works fine with cub too). I swap elements too with same setup, but shock always does the business. It’s a less standard setup than yours looking at shock/fire combo with harmonious havoc to give a base of gun damage. I use free radical/plaguebearer/kickcharger/flipper/kybs worth/guardian angel if I’m serious, and prompt crit/lovable rogue/contained blast/miscreant/nothingness/tiggs boom/asmd/storm/redeye/beacon/blood starved beast when I fancy variety. Grenade mod is tina’s hippity hopper, which is actually great, although it took a bit if practice to stop killing myself.
Use this build with a Flipper SMG and a Minesweeper or Blast Master class mod. Shield doesn’t matter much but you can start with a Transformer. You want a Cloning Maddening Tracker for a grenade but you can substitute a Nagata or any purple Atlas tracker grenade.
Build is not fully optimized but this will get you the results you want. You want consecutive hits anoint on the Flipper but you can pretty much use any anoint until you find one. You also want a Pearl of Ineffable Knowledge for an artifact but you can sub that for a Victory Rush.

But if you argue like that in real life, good like getting people to like you.
It literally announced it on the product page? It says you get the season pass included. At that time the only season pass that existed was the 1st one. They have now decided to do a season pass 2, and thus it was not included in your purchase. It never said all future content anywhere.
It even outlines exactly what the season pass includes, maybe you should go take a reading class?

Yeah, the stream was bad. Basically unwatchable. Here's the updated link to SP2. The vault cards are included, but it's still unclear exactly what they entail and the frequency of rewards.
I'd suggest putting a few more points into blue tree so you can get Dominance. Aim down your scopes to Dominate enemies, which will draw further agro away from you. My skill tree.
Other Jacobs guns besides Hellwalker I like on this build:
- Maggie
- Masher Clairvoyance
- Skullmasher (or if you can't get it, Monocle)
- 16 pellet Robin's Call
- Clockwork Res (for reviving your pet)
But yeah, not having urad is a huge handicap.
