In the store, there are options for both "PC" and "PC Digital" on the standard edition, but only "PC Digital" for the higher editions.

It doesn't seem like PC can actually be selected for some reason.

Also because they were essentially laughed out of their own reveal. It looked like some wannabe Triple A shooter and seemed like it took itself too seriously. There's a lot about it, but this is the best article I could dig up real quick. It's a very impressive story, although it is sad that the original art director got shafted by the change and left the game industry.

If you're gonna criticize something, at least make an effort to research a little. While I agree Epic should have not have launched a barebones launcher, most of those features you mentioned are coming to Epic within the next 1-6 months. So you'll have them all by the time Bl3 comes out. The Epic store itself will be going a major revamp of the social features, too. All oft hat mentioned in the roadmap above.

As for the security issues, I've never once had any problem in my over a year of playing and spending on Fortnite. The possibility of my details getting stolen lies everywhere and that's not something that's gonna stop me from using the store. Oh, and as if the beloved Steam store never had any security issues or hacking incidents ever right?

Tencent stuff is pure fear-mongering. While Tencent might have close ties with the government, American companies are not just handing out data to them willy-nilly. Tencent's involvement is mostly on the financial side. Especially considering Tencent isn't even a majority shareholder. I've been playing League of legends for over 4 years now, made by an American game company, Riot Games, that's 100% owned by Tencent. Yet you never see similar uproar about that game considering it's one of the most popular games in the world? That's right, because nothing happens. American companies aren't sending your data to China just because they have a Chinese investor. It's one of those unsubstantiated rumors that's spreading because it gives people another excuse to hate Epic.

I don't condone exclusivity deals, but I'll be getting Bl3 on Epic if it's an Epic-only release because 1)88% of my money will be going to the devs anyway and 2) Most of the features I like on Steam will be available on Epic by the time the game is released.

Don't get the Season Pass.

Instead, try to get the Game of the Year (GOTY) version as it includes Gaige & Krieg, as well as the Creature Slaughterdome DLC. And if its on sale, the GOTY version is usually cheaper than the season pass.

The headhunter packs are not included in the season pass or GOTY version, but they costs a dollar - three dollars a piece.

A poster over on Gamefaqs has found that there will be a "sage" weapon category, and found a bunch of new weapon parts. Personally, I'm looking forward to THE CHOPPER!

Just an FYI you can use spotflux, it's free and it has no usage limits. I've been using it since Diablo 3 got released (it's unplayable without it) and haven't had any info stolen or anything XD so it's safe.

I remember reading in an interview with Randy that they are planning and increasing the level cap in a "new way". He also said something like players would be really excited about this. I don't remember if that is the exact quote or not and I can't find the interview right now but I'll look for it for you.

Exactly that. The GOTY versions are just packages with the base game + DLC (see here: https://steamdb.info/sub/6346/apps/ & here https://steamdb.info/sub/32848/apps/) There are a few exceptions to that stuff, like Batman Arkham City back when it had a non GOTY version and some others, but you don't worry about that here.

According to the website (https://borderlands.com/en-US/shop/borderlands-the-handsome-collection/), it is a free update available on 3rd April. And for PC, Handsome Collection is on discount (https://store.steampowered.com/bundle/8133/Borderlands_The_Handsome_Collection/) until 10th April.

So I am pretty sure update is free. It would be really stupid to sell HC with a big discount now and then sell an updated version full price from 3rd April while the discount is on for older collection.

Check out https://borderlands.com, not a single mention of Epic anywhere on the page. There is a lovely little Steam logo in the bottom right corner though, right next to the Playstation and Xbox ones.

Looking here (and scrolling down to the graph), I only see it dropping to -67% three times only but at points when the game was 60$ (assuming this is your currency). I'd wait for the Christmas Sale, at worst it's -50% again.

There's this one from the Borderlands website that kinda shows off Amara's arm tattoos, and this one that shows off a bit of Tyreen's arm tattoo.

Nothing about any of their chest tattoos though, as far as I can find.

Most people have had at least some of their data breached. I think so long as you have 2 factor authentication, you should be pretty alright. It's certainly not ideal, but at least epic notifies you.

i don't think anyone here is going to be able to help you: you are right, per the about page for the ultimate edition&the DLC, it is supposed to include season pass 2, which includes arms race. you'll probably have to reach out to epic's customer service on this one though, as many people here have said that GB/2k will not help you if you purchased thru Epic, on basically anything.

Also looking at the steam page requirements, it looks like you can scrape by on the minimum requirements, but it probably wont run too well.

Considering all the benefits that Steam gives to consumers (which Epic has honestly no real intention of bringing to their platform) what reason is there for us to use Epic again? Steam hasn't had to do a major update in years because it's been the definitive store front for the better part of a decade now in terms of what it offers to publishers, developers, AND consumers.

And they did the same with BL2, Tourge's Campaign went gold about 2 weeks before its release, and development for Dragon keep didnt start until late winter/spring 2013. If I remember correctly, the Mechromancer was delayed because polishing on the main game took longer than expected.

I got tannis and the vault in a bookstore when I was visiting canada. (I'm from europe and we can't get them anywhere) Otherwise here is a link to where you can buy digital versions. They're f*cking awesome and have more of the BL1 vibe to them than BL2.

I play a crit Fl4k fadeaway and I either use the deadeye or the bounty hunter class mod with an electric banjo equipped. For guns I used the maggie, brainstormer, a x2 alchemist, and a corrosive cutsman. For my shield I like to use the transformer.

I can do the takedown on M1 with this the only annointed thing I have is ASE 15% life steal on the maggie. The class mods the only good roll I have is +31% pistol damage on the deadeye. Hope that helps in some way.

That said, neither includes everything. UVHM2, Digistruc Peak, the 5 Headhunters DLCs, the store skins, and probably something else I am not thinking of, are not included in the GOTY nor the Season Pass.

GOTY things that Season Pass doesn't have: The Psycho playable class, the Mechromancer playable class, the Collector's Edition items, and the Creature Slaughter dome.

Season Pass just gives you UVHM1 and the first 4 DLCs (Captain Scarlett's, Torgue's, Sir Hammerlock's, and Tiny Tina's)

Short version: No. $30 is way overpriced for the Season Pass at this point. When I got the game about a year ago, I ended up paying $13.74 for the game AND the Season Pass on sale. Wait till you see a sale on the GOTY edition, and recognize that even then you don't get all the content that has come since then.

This is why I have yet to play the DLC, I've read this is happening to a lot of people. I would recommend doing character backups periodically by using this.

Put the Antistropic filtering down. Then I would also recommend Disabling framerate smoothing and the "cel-shading" post process effect. Here is a tutorial on how to do it. That should help with overall performance.

So hopefully this works? You need a breaker class mod the more into the two melee skills (find your center, and Jab Cross) the better. I am also using an Ice breaker Relic to incease Ice elemental damage as well. Then I am using a physcho stabber to increase punch damage even more. The basic set up is to summun the orb, and punch it. Then punch an enemy then proceed to play volley ball until the orb get stuck or explodes. The more you volley the ball the more damage per second it does. I one phased ruiner with this solo on meyhem 10 as I once got the dps up to 60mil for area damage. This was also when I got the 700 mil impact. The unfortunate thing is with all the glitches with Amara's skills I haven't been able to get this to work consistently. I don't pay attention to meta or whatever on here so I don't know how many are aware of this, but every time you quit the game it seems to cause her dps to go down and her cooldowns to skyrocket. Because of this I respec everytime I re-open the game. I recommend other Amara's to do the same as it's the only way I've found that makes it work normally again.

One more important thing is you'll know when the ball is ready to explode based off how stable it looks when you pull it in. The more unstable it is when you punch it back the more likely it will explode, but also the more dps it will do. Keep this in mind when volleying.

Don't use smoothed 22-62 framerate in the game settings. Try one of the other Framerate Locking options. Set texture filtering for Borderlands GOTYE in your GPU driver settings to 'Performance' instead of 'Quality'. Also check out PC Gaming Wiki's article on Borderlands GOTYE.

My roommate and I play almost daily couch co-op. From Launch to Dec we played on PS4 Slim, and from early Dec to now it is a PS4 Pro. Immediately it was improved, we could even open a menu on one of our characters while the other was fighting in M4 Slaughter Shaft and there was little to no lag. This obviously increased to virtually no lag when I upgraded to the PS4 Pro in the first week of Dec.

However it was never unplayable, we just were sensible to performance issues and when we needed to go into a menu we both went in at the same time and communicated that we needed to go into a menu so the other person wasn't lagging. It's not even an issue now for us.

Epic plans to offer a Cross-Platform store indepedent networking to all developers. I would guess, that Borderlands 3 will use it, which means the playerbase shouldn't be split between Steam and Epic.

I noticed that Borderlands has recurring themes about robots exploring humanity, a sci-fi trope. Claptrap does this too, of course.

In addition to Mal, isn't there that other robot sidequest where it also wants to kill you after you put it in a body? Found it: "You helped Loader #1340 find a new body. May his overly murderous programming be a boon to you in coming battles." Would've been cool to see this followed up on.

Honestly, the main issue with this build is that the standard nade spamming build with all the same mods and blue tree instead of green one is simply bonkers stronger in just about everything imaginable.

Green tree lacks any reliable way of getting shields back, while Vampyr is absolutely insane at it. Limited amount of grenades with leech simply won't cut it when you are spammed with insane amounts of enemies nuking you 10k shield a pop in M3.

That said, if you really want to go with this build, then you should go this build instead. Feel free to move one point from "click click" to "some for the road" that one is strong.

Reason is that in your original build you skip Phalanx Doctrine and this is a BIG mistake, the thing is mental really, especially in a build like yours where you can't reliably replenish shield really (for a long time that is, given limited supply of grenades), having double or triple the shield and truckloads more gun damage is MUCH better than Forge, which is really a meh ability.

You can even think of it this way - you might not have forge, but each your bullet does a hell of a lot more damage to begin with thanks to Phalanx, so it's like having much more of them to begin with without Phalanx.

I'm not sure what country you're in, but in the US PayPal is pretty easy to setup... a five minute task at most.

Lilith has no skills devoted specifically to SMGs. Just her devastating Mercenary classmod, which you are free to use or eschew at your whim. Her skill tree, if anything, is the most general of all the classes in BL.

All we know about Zer0's "sniping skill tree" is that it exists (source), and that Zer0 is the only BL2 character with a particular weapon preference. (Source.) Gbx has been quite coy with details beyond that.

Something I also want to note: This page refers to Fl4k as "they" rather than "he". Fl4k could just be nonbinary (Borderlands is a pretty inclusive franchise, after all), but to me it points to another Zer0 connection. Personally I've done this a couple of times before and it has worked fine. That is still no guarantee that it will for you, so please be careful.

Basically the same requirements as the first game. In the first game, dynamic shadows and SSAO could be enabled to really eat a good chunk of GPU resources, and I'm sure that Nvidia's FXAA (or this external FXAA injector which has more options and tweaks you can set) will work too, so yeah, you'll be able to stretch your video card to its limits as long as you like making the kinds of tradeoffs that these features want from you.

And I highly recommend adding some FXAA to Borderlands 1 (and presumably 2) if you can, because it really makes those graphic novel strokes look amazingly smooth. For some games with photorealistic visuals, FXAA kind of muddles it, but I find that it's just damn near perfect for a game that looks like BL.

This is how, but you risk major spoilers if you haven’t played the main story before. I think you can make a level 30 character and do the main story in normal mode, but you will be massively over leveled if you do.

If you’re running with the drone and cannon, that will do nicely.

But if u are ok with aiming down sights, i highly rec the purple cap, esp if u get a spy com. It will help expand options making all guns better.

Also, as you go up in levels, the enemies have a increased chance of granting you general legendaries, so farming for world drops is easier as you scale up the levels
