I dunno. I think Bing Images is pretty damn good...and I like Bing's front page image gallery.
If you want to have the Google search power without giving up all your privacy, I suggest using Disconnect Search.
google says [X-Men 2](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/X2_(film\))
....wolVERINEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
shakes fist
Not sure if serious, but people in third world country (stereotypically; although first worlders also do it every now and then) balance big containers in their head when they have to carry it long distance.
You've never seen that before?
TIL: https://search.disconnect.me/ links expire.
Highly relevant discussion ^NSFW. Edit: Sadly all videos linked in comments are ~~removed~~ taken down on p*** sites.
Edit 2: Ok, the video is (somehow) still up. Just search "Elle Alexandra" "Mia Malkova"
with quotes or right click this > click Open In New Private Window for private search.
Not sure you can. I think gmail account is just google account. As far as searching goes, dont use google search. There are other search engines, that respect your privacy, some of them will proxy google result for you, e.g. https://search.disconnect.me/ or https://duckduckgo.com or many others.
Disconnect, which as of now can't use Google's search results due to an API change. But when it did, it was quite a good way to search privately while still getting good results from Google's search algorithms. Wasn't a big fan of the search results layout, but it worked.
StartPage is a good alternative which still works and returns google's results (I use DDG but to get google answers I use the bang !s for startpage which is quite handy).
Searx was quite good and I used it for a while, loved the features and search result page, would recommend trying out, go through the preferences and set it to your taste first. But again the search results were not always great, at all.
So I returned to DDG, because of the instant answers and bangs, to quickly search startpage, wikipedia or arch wiki or whatever site I needed at the time. If you find the bangs useful, I'd recommend sticking with it just for that, and you can quickly add a !s or !g or whichever to the beginning of your search term if it's a more complex query (i.e. not just a name of a site, where DDG will still work). Otherwise StartPage works quite well to disconnect you from Google while retaining the results (Note, obviously your results will not be personalised to you or your area anymore)
Yes. Despite the idiotic responses from the children here, asking questions is good. There's tons of great info out there on protecting your privacy and anonymity on the net.
> it's the merging of two products already used to encrypt
No. CryptSync is it's own program. CryptSync is using the installations of 7-Zip and Gpg4win to save you having to use the 7-Zip GUI (or even with the Command Prompt) or Gpg4win with the Command Prompt all the time.
> plus some cloud services added in?
No. It doesn't connect to the internet (except for the update check).
My first impression is quite positive. But please extend the list of available search engines and/or let the user add custom ones. I am missing Startpage as well as Disconnect Search.
I know it never established as a standard but could the browser send DNT? Also, I guess the browser can't block third party cookies, right? Have you thought of blocking connections to common trackers?
At last a small detail: when copying a URL, it is preceeded by an unneeded space.
ある程度の脱Googleをやろうと思ってBingを中心に検索していたが

The current versions of Tor Browser use these guys as the default search engine: https://search.disconnect.me/. It looks like an overlay over Google, Bing, and DuckDuckGo and (supposedly) it lets you search anonymously.
Not you, it's google. I get the same thing on five different machines and three different ip's. My machines are 100% clean and after a few searches on google I get the stinking captchas.
This is my solution: https:/search.disconnect.me
Gives you the exact same results you'd see on google only it goes through disconnect's servers, so same results but better privacy (disconnect's search doesn't even place a cooking on my machines).
For the most part ye I agree with you.
https://search.disconnect.me/ until recently had an option to search through the google, so you could have privacy and same search results, but then they had some technical issues and now it has been removed until they fix it.
You are only sending 3v to the Uno, which isn't enough regardless of which pin you connect it to. You'll want 7V+ if you want to power through the regulator (Vin or barrel connector) or regulated 5V (5V pin or USB).
Coax cables are used for a single signal, and are called coaxial because the signal cable is shielded from electrical noise by current flowing through metal that surrounds it. What you have are just called wires.
It has been discussed and analyzed for many years now. Just Google it, or better yet don't use those spying assholes use https://startpage.com/ or https://search.disconnect.me. As good as Google, in fact a proxy to Google, without the tracking and data collection.
I love it!!
Oh the years that has past since my last misc-binged night. I remember right when I left everyone was quoting "it'll never be the same" "too many trolls now" Do you know the state of the forum as of today?
Also yes very mad.
https://search.disconnect.me/searchTerms/ ist besser, die haben fast die selben Suchtreffer wie das normale Google. Ist bisher die beste Lösung die nicht von Google kommt, auch besser als Startpage.
Es gibt auch Browser Addons dafür.

A little bit late but still.
I love the classics :)
I assume you're American yes, because for me, jelly is like this I assume you mean Grape Jelly which is like spreadable on toast or bread ?
> Xephu
the title and the hint, think guys, chains...
also googling Xephu gives me all these results.... >https://search.disconnect.me/searchTerms/serp?search=0b946920-937b-4205-aa5c-1faa0ee53f9f
Ok, so here it is, a raw search for wiki leaks and this dudes name, there can be no mistake.
I'll leave the link here, if it doesn't work, I searched it from behind TOR due to censorship in my location, then just do it yourself, his full name was: Sheikh Rashid bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum
https://search.disconnect.me/searchTerms/serp?search=68ec3308-3309-4c4c-81b5-ba6d7e17572e
I use "disconnect me" instead. It has that Google feel to it.
Plus it allows you to choose which search engine it will use for the private search.
Currently options are: Bing, Yahoo, Google & DuckDuckGo
It catches data about your computer, writes it to some database files on your computer, that remains locally (never gets uploaded anywhere), and then displays it for you in the application you bring up by clicking the little icon in the bottom right.
You might not understand what a lot of the data means now, but as long as you keep at it, you'll learn more about computers and see things you never knew was going on, etc.
...or you can give up, which would contribute to why things are the way they are in regards to things like freedom and privacy. Many people would like things to just do what they wanted and not learn anything, and there are plenty of people out there willing to take advantage of that.
The different countries under "Hosts" is just telling you what country each of those servers are located. You can hover over it to get the full domain, the IP that domain used, you can see how much data was uploaded and downloaded. There's so much information you get.
It doesn't tell you if it detects a virus, but it can warn you of many different things, if you look in Settings... -> Security tab. I know it says stuff about virus detection on the site, but that's because they assume you know how to use this tool to monitor your stuff. It does integrate with Windows Defender if you have Windows Defender active, but I wouldn't use Windows Defender.
If you were wondering, there's no trial or time limit for it. The devs were kind enough to offer a free version which has very little features missing from the paid version. It only costs $50 to get a license that never expires, if you decide you want to support them.
You probably opened it with Notepad or something. You need to learn how to install a program and install 7-Zip 15.06. After that, right-click on the encrypted file, 7-Zip -> Extract here
It will ask for a password.
You ask a lot of questions that can easily be found out if you searched for them.
I really want to help, but I think I might need to stop for my own sanity. I feel like you aren't even attempting to look up this information yourself, and when I give you the answers there is still so much you don't understand. It's like you've been raised on Apple products or something. I'm sorry.
> Use Startpage instead of Google: https://startpage.com
Any opinion regarding https://search.disconnect.me ? I know their old adblock/noscript-like plugin was a bit questionable but given that the Tor browser bundle has switched to using disconnect.me as a primary search tool, is it worth exploring?
What about DuckDuckGo? How do the 3 of these "anonymous" search tools compare and which should I be using? It sounds like if I need Google results DDG is significantly behind because a !g bang will still record my data as long as I'm signed into Google.
>Oh yeah, an did widdle baby see something they didn't like? I thought you guys were against "safe spaces"?
Well surely, by extension of this logic, you would be against the wholesale dissolution and banishment of a historical/cultural icon based on the offense it may cause some parties, no?
Reminds me of the 1987 murder of Angelica Velazco, a convenience store clerk.
Both cases involved a lot of stabbing. In Renee's case, police suspect someone else was working with the killer. Also, Renee seemed concerned for her safety. In Angelica's case, the killer's stepfather was coaching him, and the killer had been hanging around the convenience store looking for opportunity.
The article in Renee's case is now five years old. Police could try submitting the DNA to a commercial database like we mentioned recently here in this UnresolvedMysteries discussion.
Edit to credit this discussion for info about the Velazco case. this discussion for info about the Velazco case
been using disconnect.me with their extension so that I can search directly from the omnibox. Now i have the best of both worlds, although its not quite as fast as just searching on google
There's no need to use the add-on. Just go to https://search.disconnect.me/ and search. But really, do that using a VPN service. Or just use Tor browser through a VPN service, and then Disconnect search (default option).
0days on IRC are rampant. If you don't believe me: https://search.disconnect.me/searchTerms/serp?search=0f65016c-8c09-4c3f-8ed6-0daa7e12cb45
If you were around during 2011 you know what I mean. I can't think of a major server that wasn't 0day'd at some point (including #th3j35t3r [HTP!!] on Freenode).
Edit: I didn't see who I was talking to. Are you just the PR?
By default in the search bar Tor now uses Disconnect Search which allows you use to use search engines like Google, Yahoo, Bing, and DuckDuckGo, anonymously.
What I mean is if you go to www.google.com, you are still going to Google. Using Tor does not change that.
Do you actually know what a size 14 looks like? Because I am a lady who is consistently between an American pants size 10-14 (sizing is ridiculous) and I can tell you, I am not fat. A bit chubby, sure. I also have a 29 inch waist. I am not obese. In fact I'm barely bordering on overweight. My doctor has never mentioned my weight. I bike every day to work. Know who else is a size 14? Christina Hendricks.
Not that there's anything wrong with being fat. Everyone can decide their weight for themselves. BUT I don't think you really know what an American size 14 is.
ELI5: Can anyone give me a quick rundown of what I'm looking at here? I've seen many pictures of what is supposedly the 'Milky Way', but the part that confuses me, is that isn't our specific location in space within said Milky Way?
Are the images I've seen previously of ~~interstellar vaginas~~ our galaxy actually an image of how the Milky Way appears when you look 'across it's radius? Or am I way off what we're actually looking at here?
