I mean.. you can, it’ll just provide stems seperated by AI (a la Deezer’s Spleeter, or LALAL.AI), but rarely are they good enough to do much with.
Hmmm. I tried to extract the vocals using https://www.lalal.ai and it couldn't tell the difference between instruments and vocoded vocals :( Playing around with some of the instrument extractions makes it a bit clearer, but not perfect.
But I always heard it as "The summer sound" and then it becomes unclear. Later maybe "sound 1990" and "we get around"
Maybe something like this (bits in brackets are complete guesses):
The Summer Sound, (nah nah nah nah nah) it's the summer (?) the summer sound (i get around) its the sound like / The Summer Sound, (nah nah nah nah nah) it's the summer (?) the summer sound (i get around) its the sound of
But I really have no idea. I wonder if they are a sample or if it was part of a live performance?
Max file size is 10mb so that sucks. Says it supports all file types but that pretty much excludes flac/wav.
I find a lot of stuff to be nearly unusable when coming from mp3s after running them through services like this, so I'll probably wait and see if they release the code for it.
You can try this as it worked great for me. https://www.lalal.ai/
This company will allow you to upload any song and strip the vocals, drums, guitar from any track. Works flawlessly, when I signed up it allowed one free song after that you need to pay but the technology is awesome and the sound quality is way better than any Karaoke recreation because its the original music,
You could use any number of free AI audio processors to separate the vocals from the rest and then manually adjust the vocal level in your DAW with the 2 new stems.
or install it yourself. Search for Spleeter
If you have Ableton Live 10+ you can install a real time plugin
A lot of them are on labels which give them unused acapellas. Or they can message singers and work with them because they have a following. What has worked for me is finding a song you like (that doesn't already have a million isolated vocals videos on YouTube) and downloading it (just google YouTube to mp3 converter) then, go to https://www.lalal.ai . It's a website which you put the mp3 in and it isolates the vocals/drums for you. It should be free, but recently they've been getting weird about a membership or something. I hope this helped dog
lalal.ai will do it well enough and pretty much the market leader. Highly recommended for your task.
RX is a front end for the open source spleeter but with some adjustable parameters.
Havent tried this yet but this looks promising

Separated vocals from melody via https://www.lalal.ai/
Animated pumpkin using Adobe Animator using lip-sync from the vocal file.
Cleaned up unecessary mouth movements.
Added gentle head movements.
Added eye movements.
If you're interested, you can mix out the vocals at https://www.lalal.ai/
I disagree with you, but I guess it's again a matter of personal opinion. I will concede though that there are some arrangements that are well done.
Maybe you mixed something up with my ratings - #37 was Down in the Groove. #36 remains a mystery for now ;-)
This website claims to do it link
I've never used it. But you can try it for free. Also there is a python library called spleeter that can do it, also free I'm pretty sure. But, it is a bit more difficult to set up.
That's very sweet. Unfortunately, you've kinda got what you've got.
If you really wanted to get into it, you could use a service to pull the vocals out of the mix, separate the piano and vocals, and have those two signals to work with separately.
It does cost money, but I think this kind of thing might be priceless, really, considering the circumstances.
Ive heard good things about this service:
Saw a youtube video on it by some producers who I think have a bit of respect, and they quite liked it, and from what I saw it did an admirable job.
Use your un-produced (raw) version, and give it a try.
After that, you can spread the piano to stereo a bit with EQ and effects.
Effect the vocals as required, but a suggestion, when using verb on the voice, give a decent amount of pre-delay. at least 1/32nd of a note.
Never used this myself but I saw a guy doing production on twitch using this lalal it seemed cool but wasn’t something I would be interested in spending money on myself. Probably a bunch of other music separating AI out there as well.
Software and/or websites like this
Earlier you would probably need someone to send you the accapellas or be wizard when it comes to Eq'ing but nowadays AI is your best ally.
If you've got a track you like the vocals from, you can use https://www.lalal.ai/ to separate the vocals from the rest of the track. I sent it to my friend who makes his own edits and it works REALLY well
This website to make acapella out of any track, it uses AI to split the vocals and instrumental, can get a freebie for 10 minutes of processed audio, but i went ahead and paid for the lite pack, so worth it.
There are some online or downloadble tools to remove particular instruments or voices. They have varying degress of success and varying price points. Here's the first one that came up off a google search https://www.lalal.ai/
There're AI services like this that can separate the vocals for you. It may be possible to cut out the whole set of syllables required for a complete voice bank. There will be a lot of manual work involved to undo all the transformations (length, pitch) but the tools are readily available (eg Audacity)
bro, I know this is late, but if you got the song file, drop it into this thing (https://www.lalal.ai/) just discovered it, and it isolates that stuff beautifully. Hope it helps, I just needed the vocals for this crazy instrumental, and just wanted to see if these vocals fit - fucken perfect
Probably worst way to do it, but it works well enough for me.
Run your song through lalal.ai , get the isolated vocals and run them through a program like melodyne, which will tell you exactly which note is being sang, like this.
Ideally you would like to train your ears to recognize the pitch by yourself though.
It's very difficult when it's at the same time because the vocal stems are usually at the same or similar frequencies. The technology to do that may still not exist. You could try https://www.lalal.ai which seperates instrumental and vocal stems (they may charge funds beyond trials), but if it's vocals, it may only be successful if it's male and female vocals at different sound frequencies. And even then, it may not be an accurate separation.
Seems to me that it would allow you to load songs that are already split (and much cleaner). The songs you upload to the song-splitting "platform" likely won't sound much better than what Moises is doing.
Either way, the true value in the Yzy Donda Player would still come from the long-term access to its song-splitting "Platform" site. Existing song-splitting services like Moises or LLalal require payment and subscriptions (and don't come with a nifty stem player).
I uploaded the original mono files to a site that uses AI to split the track into separate files (vocals, bass, drums, guitar...) Then I put those files into a multitrack WAV editor and panned them left and right to create a stereo mix. After that I added some dynamic processing and a touch of reverb. I did that for "Hey There," "Ants & Bats," "Sleep" & "Summer!" and in "Life Is Cool" I did the same thing but I also used an effect to make the vocals move around in the mix. For the 4 demos I just put the separate files into the multitrack and panned them left and right, with no additional effects. Here's two sites that allow you to split audio: https://splitter.ai/ and https://www.lalal.ai/
AI software through their site. kinda like these websites that split instrumental and vocals from a track https://www.lalal.ai/ but I think their software is able to split it into 4 tracks. interesting
https://www.lalal.ai/ This site separates vocals from instrumentals. It's not perfect but you can download the song, upload it there and you can hear Mitski's singing in isolation, or just the instrumental for karaoke to sing and cry to
Even better than on the shows these days TBH.
We now have AI that can isolate all the different parts of a song easily.
Give it a try yourself, heres 3 different ones.
My 2c
Just finding out about it now and wanted to spread the word to inspire other producers. Hmm I am not sure what spleeter is but I will take a look. Check out the website if you'd like, cheers! https://www.lalal.ai/
Thanks for ideas! yes sure you can try it on https://www.lalal.ai - just upload any audio file to extract voice or instrumentals, however it works with background noise as well.
Their website's Media Kit page says:
>Artificial Intelligence has previously been used as a solution for the complex task of vocal track isolation, but LALAL.AI is the first service to surpass even Spleeter by Deezer and PhonicMind in accessibility and quality of results.
I couldn't find any specifics about their improvements though. I am interested in all the details please OP.
