From an Electronica point of view, it is tradition to use melodies, rips, samples of other tracks. No good artist ever bitches about it, unless it's an entire track (Mat Zo). People like Joel want to have it both ways, where when convenient, they can sample, yet when another artist gets recognition for a track with a sample of theirs, they go off the deep end.
http://www.whosampled.com/sample/84835/Deadmau5-Do-It-Again-Steely-Dan-Do-It-Again/ (All Joel did was add a snare).
They should be back soon, there was some sort of copyright issue that got their account frozen and then taken down for. Last time I talked to them they said it'd be back online eventually but they don't know when.
As a temporary fix they've been uploading on mixcloud. https://www.mixcloud.com/q_dance/
You can definitely grab the track from any of your favorite stores (including Beatport below). I feel like I'd be doing myself a disservice if I gave you an illegal download link, but that's always an option, I suppose.
It's a "better version" of Whatsapp. Whatsapp has been copying Telegram's features for the last couple of years, think of stickers, live location, deleting messages etc.
What I like most about Telegram is that is uses usernames, you don't have to give your number. It also has better group features; you can restrict users (to prevent gif-spam for instance), use bots etc. But the username feature is great, because you can have a groupchat with DJ's in there and those DJ's don't have to worry about giving their phone number away.
And Telegram doesn't need to use your phone, it's cloud based, so can you chat on your laptop even if your phone is dead/stolen/broken.
Last main reason for using Telegram, for me; almost the entire hardstyle/hardcore/EDM scene is on Telegram 😉
You should be able to disconnect from apps with this kind of access from your online Spotify account here:

Presave is the Indian Microsoft guy calling to fix your computer.
For those in North America (and maybe other regions too), Antidote is available on Amazon as an import for $14 USD (free shipping with Prime). Just note that the earliest the album gets shipped is September 22.
I know there was once a ultimate liveset database, that had everything in a simple design, not , as it was adressed as a ip number.
Edit:
Don't know about Showtek, but this should drown you in nostalgia.
Here's a link to Defqon.1 and a few others.
PS! You will find tons of mixes from other electronic music dated back to the 80s, but the collection is by far very good.
Yeah that's one of the tracks that made me properly switch to hardstyle back then. :) This era sure had it's own kind of energy.
Hmm, you might want to check this out then: 1nsane's Guide to Hardstyle 1 of 4 - The Beginning. It's an hour long mix of tracks from 200x to 2004. Most of the tracks are what you'd expect in this kind of set, but maybe there are some new ones as well. [/shameless self ad]
I'll also try to see if I come up with other cool tracks once I get back home.
Own promotion incoming!
We do a podcast every month of what we think are the best new releases of the month before, so you might want to check that out here :)
Else I would also suggest you check out some other podcasts, these will sometimes even contain unreleased material
I made three 60-60 sets. https://www.mixcloud.com/nyetram/ (Defqon warm up is my favourite). I am currently working on a Militant Mayhem warm up set, but I can't get it finished before the event (too little time). I got 26 min / 36 tracks so far. I think raw is easier to mix, but what do I know. Still have a lot to learn.
I did this for Valentines Day last year. nothing special but the songs should fit to your criteria - tracklist is bottom-right next to the volume settings
She put this up last year: http://www.reverbnation.com/playlist/view_playlist/-4?page_object=artist_3620718#
She does NOT produce for herself. You do not go from not being able to pitch your kick to the right key to this in one year. On top of that, DWX have already sort of hinted at her being a ghost by saying she is the face of Mandy, implying that she's just going to be DJing.
If you like those megamixes with as many tracks as possible in 1 hour, I could recommend you my warmup mix for qlimax '14
40 Nustyle tracks in 70 minutes plus a 2 minute mix with all the anthems from 2003-2014
sony music player
Have it on my phone(default), between tracks there is like 0.25s gap no fading has equalizer and its free :D
Not a dev, just someone that's been playing casually for the past 10 years plus a few months. Keyboard is more than likely a bigger scene than pad. Pads for windows are generally pretty hard to find (decent ones, at least) and are often issue-laden with setting up, which is why you see so many people asking about them. The pad file packs are also a really great way to get your skill off the ground when playing with a keyboard.
For longevity, stepmania was released in 2001 and an extremely similar game, flashflashrevolution was released in late 2002 and is still going fairly strong.
I'm heading to bed, but I'll be happy to answer any other questions you have when I get up. :)
edit: I should mention that /r/stepmania is a fairly small community for the game. If you head over to FFR, there's a significantly larger community there.
For modern tracks, Pavo - Teckno Musik is probably the closest you'll get.
A lot of old hardstyle (pre-2003) was heavily techno influenced. Check out the stuff on Dance Pollution for the early 00's.

Edit: Just saw that the spamfilter removed this but now it's back
Edit 2: Stupid spamfilter, changed the link now it should work.. hopefully
Using Transmission for Mac - although it's a great BT client & open-source, adding magnet links is kind of a pain. You have to press ⌘+U , then a little sheet drops down where you can add 1 (one) magnet link at a time.
I found a convenient way to import bunches of links quickly. First, set a default directory in Transmission that new downloads get automatically added to, without user interaction. Make sure Transmission is set as the default app for magnet: links. Then highlight a group of magnet links in Google Sheets (i.e. the E2:E11 range), hit ⌘+C to copy it, then run this one-liner script on the command line:
for link in $(pbpaste) ; do open $link ; done
All it does is loop through whatever is in your paste buffer (separated by newlines) and open each line using whatever the default app is on macOS.
Thanks for posting all these, /u/DyonR !
here's my real advice:
ignore everyone in this thread, buy some decent studio monitors (Genelec makes good shit, don't buy that crappy KRK bullshit everyone thinks is amazing) and read this: https://www.amazon.com/Dance-Music-Manual-Tools-Techniques/dp/1138319643/ref=sr\_1\_1?crid=2KC5F9IXVLLUE&keywords=dance+music+manual&qid=1668559744&sprefix=dance+music+manual%2Caps%2C109&sr=8-1
Lol actually released a track once that's called "Hit Me" so u can def check that out (the first track of the album goes quite hard too btw)
https://www.amazon.com/Diversity-Key-Pt-1-Explicit/dp/B07YBBBMVQ
If you don't have shorts with zippers here's a cheaper alternative! A runner's belt!
If you've got a track you like the vocals from, you can use https://www.lalal.ai/ to separate the vocals from the rest of the track. I sent it to my friend who makes his own edits and it works REALLY well
Sounds great!
Ill throw this in to start: https://www.mixcloud.com/Q-dance/strategem-wa-defqon1-australia-dj-contest/
My entry into the Defqon contest for this year. I didnt win but I'd love any feedback people want to give.
Look up Zatox on Youtube, he has some good stuff.
Also, my second favorite song by DJT3chnic:
Fire In The Sky
Unfortunately it seems he removed my favorite song, Terminate. Can't seem to find it anywhere.
It doesn't have a top, but it has allmost all the releases on it. You would have to check them out on youtube/soundcloud yourself and they only add tracks when they are actually released, no previews.
If you like it as a mix format, check out my mixcloud. Post a mix of each months best releases imo (mostly euphoric). https://www.mixcloud.com/limbosquad/
Music never gets blocked here in the Netherlands for some reason. However, a easy workaround is using google translate.
Go to translate.google.com and enter the link of the show you want to listen (eg. https://www.mixcloud.com/Q-dance/q-dance-presents-the-magic-show-week-13-2016/). After this, the google translate server shows you the full page and you should be able to listen.
Listen to hardstyle mixes and livesets, and see how they mix their tracks. Shameless plug to my mixcloud, I've got a couple of hardstyle mixes there if you're interested: https://www.mixcloud.com/mazulmusic/
https://www.discogs.com/Nik-Fish-John-Ferris-Hard-NRG-8/release/678413
The first disc of that release was my first taste with hardstyle. Head Protection - Narcotic Dreams was my favourite song, followed by GTP (Technoboy Remix). I think that was about 2007.
Another solution is to install YouTube Vanced which remove almost all ads on videos. Unfortunately it works only on Android
(I don't know if it's allowed I'll remove if not but here is the link, there are a lot of malware faking being Vanced App to be downloaded : https://vancedapp.com/)
Just went to link my fav kiddstock anthem, it doesn't appear as if its on youtube :"(

I'll give a shout-out to Osu which (I think) is essentially what you're imagining.
While the game doesn't really lend itself to 150BPM (170+ being the standard for normal play I'd say) there is a good deal of breakcore and other interesting things like this, if you'd like to see some gameplay.
Well, usually the movie is about the party so it makes sense to have the party people in there.
I believe this video has been produced by Epic Cinema (since it was shot at both Defqon AND EDC). You should check out their work, it's really impressive.
This is a re-release ( not re-mastered) of 63 (not 57) singles on the new "origins" label. Not sure how much more money grabbing it can get :/
But it's away from Scanntraxx so there's that!
From what I can tell, that track was live-mixed, and so there shouldn't be an mp3 of it floating around. Below is the beatport link to the original track.
http://www.beatport.com/track/internet-friends-original-mix/3156445
You got me curious so here's what I did: Drop the 909 an octave, EQ everything above 1khz out, reduce to 8bits, Overdrive distortion, Saturation by 12dB and different curves (the part with snare is medium curve, which I liked best) and EQ the sub out and a little of the highs.
I didn't flavor much of anything else because I was interested in the kick sound, not the mix. If you use ableton, here's the .als to play around with, I only used default plugins and a 909.
Really? The compressor looks more like the glue comp from ableton. Just looked like a darker skinned version of ableton to me.
His screen looked nothing like what I see here.
On a serious note, not like the guy that commented. I really think one of the best programs if you're mixing tracks is Traktor Pro. But some prefer Ableton live and I think it's more for the LIVE acts, that use samples and use the MPC controllers etc. Also don't take me too serious since I am no DJ, just a DJ enthusiast so I might be wrong.
People!
Just download all the podcasts from Headhunterz and DJ Isaac, or check Soundcloud:
https://soundcloud.com/hardwithstyle https://soundcloud.com/dj_isaac (pick the Hardstyle Sessions)
These podcasts spin all the new songs and even update you on every news that is important to know about Hardstyle.
Really. Listen. This.
I'm a massive fan of this stuff and its what I usually play. There is no happy melodies, no feel-good lyrics, just hard and dark tracks, the way hardstyle should be! Feedback welcome :)

Very nice. I also recommend app called crabhands. You can choose which artists to follow, the app notice you about new song and add it to playlist in your library.
I'm using an Equalizer that is directly connected to the Spotify App that knows what I'm listening. With this App I can create a specific equalization for each song or album. Super for an audiophile like me!

To be honest if you care for sound air pods are not the way to go I would buy a decent set of IEMs instead for half the price or less now down to the sound they blew my mind deep heavy bass without taking from the mids and epic highs the sound is crystal clear you will hear stuff you never heard before. I'll list some suggestions
Shozy form 1.1
https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07YV1PCBL/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_x5BqFbV9A5TEM
Blon 03
https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07XKTR849/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_P6BqFb8NP21H4
I own both Personly the shozy form 1.1 bass is powerful mids are good the highs are even better.
These are both bass focused IEMs
Check out the best sellers for Amazon I just bought one for $60aud. They are great for the price, it's really good for the gym as I have small ears, a d they don't fall out
Back when I used wired in ear headphones I used SoundMagic E10. Amazing bass and great sound isolation! They might have a new version out by now im not sure so heads up.
https://www.amazon.com/SoundMAGIC-Noise-Isolating-Earphones-Gunmetal/dp/B005HP3OB0
Edit: its a bit above your price when translating currencies but I can vouch that these are worth it.
I bought these last year and they've served me well. I don't have experience with any other ear plugs but one bit of criticism I have about the etymotic is almost how well they work in that they almost completely reduce the sound volume of melodies while I'm in the front row. So when I'm not a cheapskate I'd like to try a few other brands and see how they hold out but overall it's night and day difference. Once these are in and you get used to the feeling of them being inside your ear you forget theyre in. Little difficult having conversations with people but it's still possible. Cheers!
I can recommend Logitech Z906
This is not the most percices audiophile equipment but they offer a hell of a punch. 5.1 is not needed for listening but it sure makes gaming and watching movies more enjoyable. Running the system in 4.1 can be rather enjoyable aswell.
You're talking about this one right?
I've had this in my cart for a while, I really want it because my low end laptop is starting to give way (I want a Zenbook but its the same price) and plus I get these and I can learn how to use the CDJ at the Venue I play at.
I don't mind at all! I use Audio Technica ATH-ANC23's. I occasionally find the need to cancel out the world around me while I do my thing. It's wonderful.
Oh well if you have the storage for it, a podcast app works well since you can download everything available in the app, I've used it for this exact reason too, and a lot of podcasts are there. I prefer podcast addict. My list looks like 100% reversed, WE R, Unleashed, Nightbreed, Extreme Audio, Global Dedication, HWS, inZanity, Isaac's, KTRA, Masters of HC, VNTG, Louder, Italia, and Xxlerator
