You can't even make a private lobby like in GTAO. I got ganked after hunting. I was putting the carcass on my horse, and some dirtbag came along and killed me and stole my deer. So I respawned and hunted him down. When I killed him I got bonus XP for "revenge" but also lost honour for committing a "murder," to make matters worse, I also received a wanted level and got killed by the lawmen, and my deer disappeared. I was hoping for more incentive for people to not kill each other in cold blood.
I left feedback for Rockstar suggesting they include private lobbies and add a bounty system that puts a price on players heads who force involuntary PVP on others. The bounty system would work similar to singleplayer. It's permanent until you pay it or until it gets collected by other players.
Try and spread the word but Rockstar has a suggestion page. Please use it and spread the word to others. The more we band together and use it the more enjoyable the experience.

Edit: I made a post about this just now. Hopefully it makes it to the top and people start submitting more and more.
It sure feels like this game will start off with The Blackwater Massacre:
>The Blackwater Massacre was a bloody gunfight that took place in the town of Blackwater in 1899.
And from the RDR2 info page:
>After a robbery goes badly wrong in the western town of Blackwater, Arthur Morgan and the Van der Linde gang are forced to flee.
Make a fuss about it, and lots of it, we need to let them know that we won't tolerate these practices.
https://www.rockstargames.com/reddeadredemption2/online/feedback
They had GTA Online Trailers before the original game was released. It's safe to say with a week till the end of the month, and no assurance of its arrival. It's delayed.
I believe the only reason they haven't announced the delay is to not dissuade game sales with negative press until they have to in the next few days.
Also on the game case it says Online is "Coming soon" check the Rockstar website for release date, which gives them room to extend the release date.
give rockstar feedback, maybe M A Y B E if enough people complain about it they will change it.... ^(hopefully.... probably not...)

https://www.rockstargames.com/reddeadredemption2/online/feedback
I remember that hours before Kotaku published an article about Rockstar's working conditions, Rockstar put out a letter thanking all of their employees.
Everyone needs to start complaining on the official forum . It may not change anything but I’m sure if thousands voice their opinion it could change something when it’s out of beta.
Let yourself be heard, do not stand for this ridiculous economy.
https://www.rockstargames.com/reddeadredemption2/online/feedback
Still way too grindy. I was hoping they wouldn't follow the GTA Online formula too closely. They went even further and included a premium currency.
I left feedback for Rockstar letting them know that this is a little too egregious for me.
https://www.rockstargames.com/reddeadredemption2/online/feedback?step=9af5318d
Not sure if it'll work, but if it does, this goes straight to in-game economy feedback.
I just sent the title of this thread.
Not twitter, try their official support site:

If you would like online to be better, please share your ideas with R* https://www.rockstargames.com/reddeadredemption2/online/feedback
Posting them here is irrelevant. Let's make this experience great for everyone.
Go to the feedback website: https://www.rockstargames.com/reddeadredemption2/online/feedback
And write feedback about piss poor payouts in these sections:
Free Roam Missions
Land of Opportunities Missions
General Weapons Feedback
Any or all of the Showdown Series sections
If we all post feedback in multiple categories with basically the same issue - that payouts are too low and prices too high, hopefully they will do something.
You could also use the 'Other Feedback' sections to give the same message but I have a feeling they check category feedback before the 'Other' section.
Edit: Also mention that looting is useless as trinkets sell for jack shit
Go here and tell them we want a passive mode to protect us from griefers like this.

Every thread about the state of the game should have a mandatory link to their feedback page.
https://www.rockstargames.com/reddeadredemption2/online/feedback
GTA5 was primarily built as single player, yes. But the multiplayer took off in such a huge way, and made so much money that you'd be a fool to think they won't add multiplayer to future games with even more focus than before. GTA Online has changed the game, like it or not.
Just look at the page for RDR2
> Developed by the creators of Grand Theft Auto V and Red Dead Redemption, Red Dead Redemption 2 is an epic tale of life in America’s unforgiving heartland. The game’s vast and atmospheric world will also provide the foundation for a brand new online multiplayer experience.
That doesn't sound like a single-player focused game to me.
Send your feedback while it's still possible. Things like this need to be brought to Rockstar's attention.
https://www.rockstargames.com/reddeadredemption2/online/feedback
Found this image from rockstar
You must use the feedback form they’ve provided. It’s is easy and fast.
if they ignore your complaint, you can bitch about it. If you haven’t informed Rockstar about your problem you don’t really have a justification to complain. Mock them all you want, it is a beta, and they can’t improve it unless we play and share our experiences with them. Venting feels good, no judgements here, but tell Rockstar before venting to the world.
Just wanted to drop another illustration here of how insane the in-game economy is (I've submitted all of the below as feedback to R* directly already, and you can provide your own via: https://www.rockstargames.com/reddeadredemption2/online/feedback)

I'd say I've put more than my fair share of hours into GTA Online, amassing around 440 hours of playing time according to my R* Social Club feed. That was done over the course of around 18 months from the end of 2016 until April 2017.

Based on the consensus that a gold bar in RD Online seems to take around 8 hours of grinding to accumulate, I'd be able to build up around 55 of them over the next 18 months playing at the same rate and logging similar hours, minus any free roam and purely spamming quests and replaying missions (for the record, nope, that will not be happening).

If I then spent another 18 months doing the exact same, and never used a single gold bar on anything else over those combined three years, I'd still be about 55 hours short of being able to afford the fast travel wheel, one of the more expensive items in the game at 117 bars.

Sure, I get that the game needs to be an ongoing challenge and should require serious time investment to be able to afford certain things (or real-life investment of your own money to boost you there), but more than three years of exclusively grinding a game to afford one in-game item is absolute crazy talk.

The same goes for most in-game purchasable items with $. Some weapons come in at $1000.00, but at least in the early missions I completed in my first hour or so of playing last night, we're getting $4-$6 a pop for completion. I'm sure your take will increase in later story missions and no doubt there are one-off bigger rewards left for me to come across, but that's still a hell of a grind.
Make sure you share your thoughts with Rockstar and do your part in trying to make sure this doesn't fall into the same pit GTAO did.
https://www.rockstargames.com/reddeadredemption2/online/feedback
Precisely man, if anyone of you have the same complaint you can submit them here: https://www.rockstargames.com/reddeadredemption2/online/feedback

The more complaints the better! :D
You can go here and let Rockstar know your displeasure. They are taking feedback about RDRO.

https://www.rockstargames.com/reddeadredemption2/online/feedback
I hate auto aim, we need free aim hardcore lobbies with no players blips showing up all the damn time. I encourage you the give some feedback. The more people the better. https://www.rockstargames.com/reddeadredemption2/online/feedback

Ignore the other guy, the it concrete thing we've heard from Rockstar is sometime in November for the beta.
> Red Dead Online is planned for launch in November 2018, initially as a public beta, with more news to come soon.
But don't you seeeeee!
If they make money off of mods they won't make any new games, just port skyrim forever! They'll shelve all new projects, and fire all writers and designers, only needing programmers to port!
Just like what rockstar did with GTA, they started making money on MP they fired everyone who doesn't make cars and stopped making single player content forever
Please give feedback to them, it's so important to make RDO better! https://www.rockstargames.com/reddeadredemption2/online/feedback
they could’ve done that by simply blocking that on the beta... i think they threw those prices and if we dont complain, those will be the final prices... thats why i am also asking everyone to send the feedback to https://www.rockstargames.com/reddeadredemption2/online/feedback
it definitely has been brought up before, and while i think its a bit impractical, you should submit the idea directly to rockstar. Use this link : https://www.rockstargames.com/reddeadredemption2/online/feedback
This has been a lot of people's experience as well. Send feedback to Rockstar explaining why we need a passive mode or pve servers.
https://www.rockstargames.com/reddeadredemption2/online/feedback
This is a great idea. I'm gonna go post this suggestion on R* support site, you should to.

https://www.rockstargames.com/reddeadredemption2/online/feedback?step=f2e50892
Make a fuss, a big one, for the recrod, that's not 112 Gold to unlock, that's 112 to buy. Even if it's rank-locked it still shows the normal price.
https://www.rockstargames.com/reddeadredemption2/online/feedback
Share your feedback while you still can, and hope they make the changes before it releases for realzies.
https://www.rockstargames.com/reddeadredemption2/online/feedback
https://www.rockstargames.com/reddeadredemption2/online/feedback Drop them a suggestion to add a free aim only mode! I also suggested they remove player locations from the map apart from your friends/posse
Tweets and also everyone go to this link: https://www.rockstargames.com/reddeadredemption2/online/feedback and submit an official suggestion to add a hardcore mode with free aim only and no players shown on the map
Bro, don't use the ugly compressed IGN images, use the ones on the official site:
That's horrible, man. After they got caught and found out Kotaku was going to report on it, they put up this page to make themselves look better. I've always kind of marveled at the fact that there are more than 3,000 people on this list. That many who would have gotten absolutely no credit and at best got listed on a web page that 99% of people will never read instead of them just... you know... including their names in the credits.
For more exposure to the problems This is the feedback link to make suggestions about RDO please if you don't want RDO to become a hive of P2W make sure your voice is heard
This shouldn't have to be a problem to begin with. I think PvE sessions will be a great way to keep people from outright quitting because of those assholes.
Send feedback while you still can. https://www.rockstargames.com/reddeadredemption2/online/feedback
Should be like the original RDR, some servers for Auto Aim, some for Free Aim, and some for Passive. Also we need a Hardcore server option where there is no players shown on radar (unless you shoot).
Send R* your suggest though for sure.
https://www.rockstargames.com/reddeadredemption2/online/feedback
yup, R* updated the website recently with a page about the music and saying the soundtrack is coming soon https://www.rockstargames.com/reddeadredemption2/features/music
From Rockstars website regarding an item in the collectors edition:
"Metal Tithing Box with Lock & Key: Inspired by the lockbox used by the Van der Linde gang to stash contributions to the camp’s upkeep, this thick gauged metal box includes a lock & key, and features black metal band detailing and an engraved Cornwall Freight & Commodities plaque."
Also as for rockstar they don't class cloud gaming as the same category as consoles or pc that's why they don't mention stadia
https://www.rockstargames.com/reddeadredemption2/
Find where it says avaliable on stadia
I sent them feedback asking for the option to toggle between the two. If I'm PvE, then I would prefer the longer animations. Hell, why not a list that lets us select from Default or Online animation styles for various common actions like looting and stowing weapons on horses.
LeMat & M1899 only at the St Denis gunsmith, High Roller at the fence.
Warped Brindle Arabian above the word Wapiti on the map (on/near the cliff), Chestnut Arabian in the area between the pagan ritual site and whale bones points of interest.
Also 2 new treasure hunts and some other stuff, including photo mode and fast travel from any camp in the wild.
There just was some after more than a year of waiting, so it will probably take a long long time before we get more (Mexico please!).
This^
"For PS4 players without a PlayStation Plus subscription, you'll be able to play Red Dead Online as part of a special bonus period from now until May 27th."
You probably did already but use the R* feedback form to share your experience with them.
https://www.rockstargames.com/reddeadredemption2/online/feedback
Not sure the passive-lite R* announced in their roadmap would have helped in this situation.
GIVE FEEDBACK! Let's riot and create controversy like Battlefront 2. Feedback Link
Online in it's current state is disappointing. No mini games, like poker. Grinding is even worse. There just doesn't seem like there's much stuff to do either. The world feels empty without mini games, and the economy is screwed. It'll take forever to buy a decent horse if you don't have the Red Arabian or whatever else was given for free.
Give your feedback directly to Rockstar, that way it will get to the people that can actually change things. Here's a link: https://www.rockstargames.com/reddeadredemption2/online/feedback Hopefully the link formatting works. If not, just go to there website.
Great suggestions! Have you yet sent it to Rockstar? https://www.rockstargames.com/reddeadredemption2/online/feedback
I hope so damn much that they add the poker. Would be so nice to just chill around the table and play with friends or randoms + do some small talk while having beers.
The system as it is now seems pretty wonky. I would suggest you let R* know. This is a main complaint i see here and it would be beneficial to have people tell R* so that they can change it. There is no guarantee but they have already stated that this is Beta , if there are things they can improve , let them know. https://www.rockstargames.com/reddeadredemption2/online/feedback
Please give feedback to them, it's so important to make RDO better! https://www.rockstargames.com/reddeadredemption2/online/feedback
This isn't the time to boycott them yet, now, the best thing you can do is send them feedback to make their prices more fair.
https://www.rockstargames.com/reddeadredemption2/online/feedback
It is a beta send your feedback to Rockstar they want it so they can makes changes.

https://www.rockstargames.com/reddeadredemption2/online/feedback
here is the link to make it easy for you.
Send your feed back here for the freeroam no blips or limited blips. This is what I submitted "There should be limits on blips on the map. We should only see our posse and friends at all times. People should only show up on the map only when they fire a gun or are running or riding or doing a mission that requires intervention of other players." https://www.rockstargames.com/reddeadredemption2/online/feedback
That's very, well, not Read Dead.
It looks good and clean, there's not a thing that's out of place, but you're not representing the product at all. And giving such importance to the mailing list, it's weird. Iv'e never seen a mailing list item take so much room on a page.
On the website it shows a veerrrryyyy long credit list so I guess plenty. We can guess that whoever is mentioned in the credits also works/worked on GTA and that they are working more on that than RDO. It’s also amazing that there is a huge team for every single group of animation which is visible cause this game is beautiful. Anyway, there is a separate list just for Online and the team is pretty big, atleast 50+ people.
Indeed it is, Rockstar launched the Online as standalone little while ago, and the 5 bucks is an offer which expires on the 15th of February. You can find more info here; https://www.rockstargames.com/reddeadredemption2/order?redirect_lang=en_us&edition=online&platform=pc-digital
(Copied my answer from similar post yesterday): LeMat & M1899 only at the St Denis gunsmith, High Roller at the fence.
Interesting idea! Such camps can be fun!

>Do you think we’ll see any formal gang mechanics beyond persistent posses? And if so what do you think it will consist of?
I think that we (the first players) in some sens are so-creators of RDO. We can see that our feedbacks are not send directly to /dev/null and some of them are leading to bugfixes and impruvments. So if you have a good idea or mechanics and you want to see it (or part of it) in RDO you must send it to R* .

And maybe ... some day... =)
John likely doesn't have one because they prevented putting John in the marketing. John gets a lot of silhouettes for the promotional art, but John, Abigail and Jack weren't in any promotional art until they released the character posters.
I can only assume it was because they didn't want to base marketing around John, both because a lot of people didn't think Arthur would be as good as him, and it would probably give hints to how big of a role John had in the game. As someone who played RDR in 2010 and watched every bit of marketing for RDR2, I can say that John's relationship with Arthur was not what I was anticipating at all.
On Pendrych's comment about feedback getting buried...
At some point in the future, could there be a real feedback site put together? There is an official forum, but there is no feedback section on there, and ideally a feedback section should also have numerous subcategories. Have you seen the feedback site for red dead online?. See how it's sorted into the various categories?
I think something like this would make it much easier for you and the appropriate devs to parse feedback, and it would stop people feeling like their feedback is just getting buried. I also feel like, although near launch feedback is especially important, it will continue to be useful for the entire life of the game, so it would be a good idea to implement it.
They have a website for feedback and suggestions, just go to Feedback here and drop it maybe in Gameplay, Free Roam suggestions? And thanks! https://www.rockstargames.com/reddeadredemption2/online/feedback
Here you can suggest improvements, and i did as well. I´m hoping we can get a free " re create " once the beta is over before going full live. Graphics etc will probably improve and textures as well, so hopefully we can be given a " freshen up " time instead of starting over.
https://www.rockstargames.com/reddeadredemption2/online/feedback?step=addb2b0b
Submit feed back here: https://www.rockstargames.com/reddeadredemption2/online/feedback
This is just the Beta. It’s for Rockstar to see what players like/dislike. If more people tell Rockstar about these issues then they are more likely to be fixed in full release.
I agree with you though, haven’t found a use of my camp other than receiving items I order from my personal catalogue.
They’ve asked for feedback and the entire community is split (whether that is good or bad idk) I just feel that they’ve taken their business plan for this game and cranked it to 11. Microtransactions are a necessary evil but should not be tolerated when mishandled or abused.
This is a pretty common complaint, but you've got to make your opinion count by sending feedback.
https://www.rockstargames.com/reddeadredemption2/online/feedback
Alongside PvE sessions, Less punishing grind and so on, this high demand for poker and many other mini games -has- to be brought to Rockstar's attention.
Make sure to send them feedback, link below.
https://www.rockstargames.com/reddeadredemption2/online/feedback
Lots of people bring this up, If everyone shares their feedback with Rockstar, hopefully they'll work on it.
https://www.rockstargames.com/reddeadredemption2/online/feedback
PvE sessions would be better than passive mode. You can still have the option to challenge someone to a duel or a brawl. All of that feedback should be shared with Rockstar.
https://www.rockstargames.com/reddeadredemption2/online/feedback
It is pretty good but improvements are needed, and they need our feedback to help with that. I implores you to send them all you can!
https://www.rockstargames.com/reddeadredemption2/online/feedback
Send your feedback while you still can. Even if you think they won't listen, if enough people bring their displeasure to their attention they will at the very least have to consider making the grind a little less punishing.
https://www.rockstargames.com/reddeadredemption2/online/feedback
No need for speculation, it's what rockstar has on the site for ages:
https://www.rockstargames.com/reddeadredemption2/online
> Red Dead Online is planned for launch in November 2018, initially as a public beta
Oh, I'm sure they will add new horse breeds (and if you look closely at this screen it looks like there are at least a few different body types for the horses) but I doubt they'll use them as the basis for their updates like they did with cars. Frankly, horses are more of a niche interest than cars and guns; a very few dedicated fans will really appreciate the variety, but the vast majority will just hop on a black stallion and never look back. So they'll probably have plenty of horse breeds, including some in updates, but I'd wager they'll focus more on guns.
No it is there on Rockstar site for PC
https://www.rockstargames.com/reddeadredemption2/order?edition=ultimate
It is on Sony store for Playstation and I am guessing the same for Xbox. No idea why you couldn't find it.

Don’t do that if you can help it, send them your feed back here. We vote with our wallets so if you buy it you are saying you’re okay with outrageous prices and you’re okay with paying to win. I’d much rather find an exploit or mod in money than feed the devil. I’m not telling you what to do with your money, do what you want but if we want change we have to do something. Like giving feed back and not partaking in buying in game currency. It’s a sucky situation and I wish you the best partner!
It’s a beta. Dont complain here, give then feedback. It’s a beta. They need what you just ranted to us, told to them, so they can improve for launch.HERE. tell them.
They also strictly stated that this WAS NOT early access. It is a test to see what we say needs changed and to test servers.
Suggestion to include the link to the Red dead feedback page in the above as well as the general rockstar feedback form.

wow! did you even think about what you wrote? So, someone who can afford to do something you can't, let's lynch em'. You believe in X and i don't , so now i'm going to kill you! - This is the type of mentality that makes great online games awful. I think you need to take on a more positive role here.
This is a Beta program of the game. If you are dissatisfied with a certain aspect of the game or find a bug or have a idea, make it known to Rockstar here: https://www.rockstargames.com/reddeadredemption2/online/feedback
Starting a witch hunt is not the solution. Ruining the game for people because you don't share the same ideas/ideals, is completely wrong in my opinion.
There's always a chance. It's a Beta, not the full release. There will be changes and a lot of them will reflect what the community asks for. They won't know unless you tell them though. Provide any feedback you can regarding your experiences online. Bugs, issues, ideas - https://www.rockstargames.com/reddeadredemption2/online/feedback
GTA dosent use seervers for players, only services. GTA is P2P. So if you have your mode set to free aim in GTA settings, you will only connect with other players who also use free aim. In RDO, they don;t see to have this setup ..yet. This is Beta though and if you want that option, voice it to R* at https://www.rockstargames.com/reddeadredemption2/online/feedback
While they are taking feedback for improving the game and listening to our ideas, OP asking for servers (hardware) is unlikely to happen.
Please give feedback to them, it's so important to make RDO better! https://www.rockstargames.com/reddeadredemption2/online/feedback
I'll eat my hat if we don't see improvements as they update RDO, including some balancing to discourage griefers.
Whether it's passive mode or implementing a proper bounty system for psychopaths that kill in cold blood in the middle of town, I'm confident we're going to see some significant changes before too long. I suspect Rockstar is monitoring player behavior and interactions pretty closely right now to judge which changes to make.
Don't forget to give them feedback if you have specific suggestions or sensible complaints:
https://www.rockstargames.com/reddeadredemption2/online/feedback
yes it’s a beta and i know we are going to see some issues, the feedback web page even has a category of “ingame economy” or something like that. thats why i keep telling people that please send your feedback to them at https://www.rockstargames.com/reddeadredemption2/online/feedback
we really need to get heard. if they change things or not we will see in a few days maybe
honestly I felt like I made more money hunting while riding between missions than I did doing the actual missions. crazy economy system, I've been slagging it off/telling them it needs to change all morning on https://www.rockstargames.com/reddeadredemption2/online/feedback
They have a feedback form on their website! Use it!
I shut my game off as well. It serves nothing but making me upset right now so before a pacifist mode i will most likely not be playing.
I went here to add suggestions to the devs. Suggest more follows and perhaps we can start playing soon again.
