not sure how shopify works but ive read that you can supply a password for people to gain access to the store. which looks like what is happening here.
that or its just an unfinished site like people have said.
GoDaddy sucks. Don’t get scammed by GoDaddy when you have better and cheaper options.
You have 2 solid options I can list.
Option 1;
Get a domain name. Get Vps hosting plan. Install Wordpress & AliDropship Import/Edit Products If you don’t know about how to build a website, order a custom store. Market and start selling $$
Option 2;
Get a domain name Get a Shopify plan Build website on Shopify Market Start Selling $$$
I personally use option 1 because I love Wordpress and ability to have full control of my website.
Hope it helps!
I will cut it short and try to list it step by step.
1- Purchase a domain & hosting
2- Choose a dropshipping platform like AliDropship or Shopify
3- Pick a niche and do a keyword research. Google Keyword Planner is a great tool for keyword research.
4- Upload products via drop shipping platforms
5- Install plugins to help you with sales.
6- Promote website on social media accounts and give advertisement to Facebook or Google Adwords.
Hope it helps, any questions you can always ask.
Good way into getting dropshipping would be building a website, uploading products and description, marketing and support. It is not easy as it may sound from Youtube gurus, you need to be patient and spend a lot of time marketing.
Yes there are competitive niches, it all depends on what kind of product you want to sell. Do you keyword research and competition research with free tools like Google Keyword Planner .
If you don't have any coding skills to build a website, there are platforms like Shopify and AliDropship that will help you get started and getting sales.
Here is the Shopify homepage: https://shopify.com.
Scroll down and notice the part where they say they have 600k online stores as clients.
Most of those are yet another dropshipping store. You will be #600,001.
The odds are not great.
If you are not a techy guy then Shopify will be a perfect choice for you:
At the same time there are few cons regarding Shopify: you need to pay a monthly fee and for any transaction.
But if you business is stable and you know what you are looking then Shopify today is one of the greatest SAAS solutions. According to Google Trends it's very popular and the number of people who prefer Shopify is growing every day.
I think $500 is too low for building Ecommerce website from scratch. probably the company or person who accept to do that for you will use some open source like woocommerce or open cart then you will struggle to update it later.
I would suggest you to have a look at shopify.com or 3dcart.com. it think it will fit your current situation very well.

It really depends on your budget. As you mentioned Shopify+Oberlo & Alidropship is one of the popular ones out there.
Shopify ($30 month) + Oberlo ($30 month)
Woocommerce(Free) + Alidropship ($89 lifetime)
I use Alidropship for a decade now. It's working great and it has a fair price. I recommend it to everyone.
If you are searching for niche, do a research on Aliexpress. Which products sell and have good reviews.
Go to Google Trends to find out what is trending or not.
Check social media accounts related to the niche you pick, to see the competition and demand.
I've heard shopify a lot as well. Is it like amazon where you have to specifically go on Shopify.com to find a store, or like amazon where googling something leads you to items in the store?
Hey!
No matter what type of ecommerce platform you are going to use, as it's really depends on your final goal. If you are going to sell just one book, then it's better to use some more simplified SAAS solution, or in your case: your own website (based on Wordpress for example).
Shopify is used mostly for selling or offering big number of products/services. In case you are going to sell some other books in the nearest future, then Shopify is pretty good choice.
Also be prepared for aggressive advertising to find your niche.
First of all, Shopify doesn't offer this feature by default and that's why product upsell is a great option to try and experiment with better techniques.
I've used the following apps to integrate Upsell feature:
I do a lot of webwork, and have a lot of experience setting up eCommerce websites.
My suggestion to you is to hash out what you -want- from your site, and how much -work- you (or your staff) want to put in to it.
You can get a cookie-cutter Wordpress website with WooCommerce for 1,500.00 depending on the quantity of products and the data-entry that goes along with it. I would be skeptical of anyone offering to do it for less - you're paying for experience and expertise, especially with a self-hosted option like WP. The top end can get astronomical... but for a custom designed theme; something built just for your business, is going to start at around 6,000.00 I would say, more if you have a lot of shit.
Then you have Shopify!, which is almost always the option for a small business looking to sell a handful of products where getting to market is the primary concern.
If anyone wants free, unbiased, and both the cons as well as the pros of dropshipping, go to Shopify.com and view their tutorials. They are not angling to make money off their dropshipping info, only to get money if you decide to subscribe and put your shop on their site. The people who want to sell you dropship info never tell you about the hassles or disadvantages. They just dangle immense riches in front of you tell you how easy it is.
Set up a shopify.com store, it's easier than you think. Once you grow it a bit, you can send your inventory to a fulfillment warehouse and never have to lift a finger to ship them out.
I scored it (1 new 1p), but I was literally hitting refresh over and over again and ordered it right at 10am EST. I did not choose the air shipping, though in hind sight I probably should have. I have an OG 2p Drop model, so I am really in no hurry to get one.
I hope to try to get a 2p Pro on the 23rd as well, but I suspect those will be even in tighter supply. Though not a whole lot of people want to spend $600 on a tent.
My suggestion is to pre-make your Koviso.com account, add a shipping address. Next go to shopify.com and enter in your credit card details and save them.
Hopefully there will be a bit less demand on Thursday.
In all I hope the pandemic and the shipping container crisis can be ended soon.
Send them a link to shopify.com and brush off your CV. If you go down the Google Sheet route you _will_ regret it. I wouldn't even use it for a proof-of-concept.
I'm not just talking out me arse. The previous CTO at my job did this for just about every part of our site. And it failed all. the. time. There are zero uptime guarantees. There is absolutely no ACID compliance. It's just a world of hurt. Seriously.
Good luck! I hope you follow up with the results because these kinds of requests are always interesting.
Depending on your requirements there are a lot of options out there these days but here is my take
If you are a developer or you have some sort of technical experience i suggest going with the following
Woocommerce
Opencart
Prestashop
The above are free and open-source you might need to do a little setup.

If you are not a developer or you don't have any technical experience then I suggest you go with the following

You will have to pay but they are very quick you will be up and running in no time.
Hope the above helps
$360 would buy a year's worth of a basic shopify.com account, which would give you a nearly idiot proof online storefront.
Contacting etsy.com store owners and offering to host their product at your store, in exchange for them giving you a 20-30% commission upon sale and shipping the product to your customers directly would be free.
Spend another $200 buying some fun inventory via aliexpress or ebay in line with your market niche so you can round out your product selections at your online store.
Spend the remaining $240 on a couple of months of targeted google or facebook ads.
Set up youtube and instagram channels to promote your merch, which is also free.
Voila, you're an online retailer for $800.
If you don't like retail, $800 would buy a lot of online classes to learn new skills in whatever new side hustle you'd like to start.
Technically, less than $100.
Realistically, at least $1,000 you're willing to lose testing ads to find product / market fit.
If you're drop shipping and just starting out, maybe check out Shopify Compass - there are a bunch of free courses there that can help you get started quick.
Geo blocking is useful if you don't want other countries servers poking your network, and your network visiting countries you think is 'bad'. What we are saying is, the internet is distributed, and each of your web services may not always be in the country you think they are.
A good example (which caused our support a lot of time) is one customer blocked Canada off for some reason, and claim the network can't visit any shopping sites, even if the site is in USA. We have to explain, many sites (like Firewalla.com) uses Shopify.com, which is a Canadian company ...
As soon as I read this it made me think about John's Crazy Socks. Read the story here:

You mentioned you like being creative, it sounds like making 1 fun product, hell even design one and just put it up for 'pre orders' on an eCommerce store (use Shopify.com - cheap and easy to get started).
Once you've done that, come back here and let me know - I'll be your first pre-order customer (provided you don't create something for £2500 per item haha).
In all seriousness - you can do it, you need to keep going. Good luck,
Is the tracking added directly to the order? Who adds it, you or your supplier? If it's your supplier, they may be unchecking the shipping confirmation email box when they add the tracking.
Tip: Make sure to check your Shopify store's shipping confirmation email's code. If you haven't made any customizations, reset the code to default (bottom-left button).
SnipCart or Shopify will allow for all e-commerce transactions no my own site or does the ecommerce portion action pull up a shopify.com webpage? If the former, they have some ability to create our own cart, etc. How does payment work?
another way i'm trying is to contact support from the company that created the titancheats website. The company is called shopify.com, they are responsible for their customers doing wrong.
I don't know if your mobile app for eCommerce but I want to help to those who are looking for such solutions. There are plenty of no-code mobile app builders especially for Shopify.
What I recommend is to install a couple of alternatives like Shopney , JCurve and HulkApps and see which one is the best fit for your eCommerce needs.
Ask me if you need further guidance.
OP this is not a big task at all, don't listen to these people saying it will cost tens of thousands of dollars for a basic store to sell 20 items. Go and look at Shopify, it's easy to set up and user friendly. It's drag and drop, there's no coding required. You can most likely do it yourself. (shopify.com)
You will probably get 20 Indians messaging you offering to do it for you when they see this post.
If you are going to hire someone to do it for you, tell them you just need a basic shopify store with a nice theme installed to sell a few pieces of jewelry. Don't budget more than a few hundred dollars unless you need something really obscure or unique developed.

Also, that is surprising they posted the "Incident Update" on a forum under the "community" subdomain of shopify.com buried in Shopify Community > Shopify Discussion > Shopify Discussion > Incident Update.
You would believe they post an "Incident Update" there: https://news.shopify.com/# but nothing.
IANAL,
Shopify' Payment terms of service state that you wouldn't be able to use their gateway. (search for resale), as it would be considered unauthorized resale afaik.
Shopify itself is fine provided you run your business legally in your area.
That's all I can speak to, but subs like r/legaladvice may have more input, or even r/smallbusiness.
I found links in your comment that were not hyperlinked:
I did the honors for you.

I wouldn't start cold calling until you have a portfolio to show. No-one is going to hire you without having an example to run by them. Build a page and create a from scratch imaginary business first. Work through some other small business pages and see how they're set up. See how they are done on WIX.com and Shopify.com . That's who you're competing with if your clients knew about them, which they probably don't. Building a website is one thing, but what about maintaining it? What will your fees be? It's pretty cut throat out there with the two websites offering essentially free websites with maintenance fees as their profit motivator. The biggest block next to fear of technology for your clients is the cost of having to maintain it. Many find it cheaper just to create a facebook page and drive sales through there. You have to be ready to show them the advantages of possessing their own webpage.
ok
The good news is that you can keep you domain even though you closed your shop. https://help.shopify.com/en/manual/domains/add-a-domain/buying-domains "If you don't already have a custom domain, then try buying domains through Shopify to simplify the setup process. Custom domains purchased through Shopify start at $11 USD per year. Your domain is automatically set up for you, and you keep ownership even if you leave Shopify."
Ad for where to keep your domain afterwards, you should be able to transfer it to any place you want. I use Dynadot because it's dirt cheap. But had domains with a few others and they are almost all the same.
Ciao.
Altro suggerimento "commercio online".
Yep, it is/was a scam. The site is down. I had ordered a Unifi USG from there. My transaction record says: Kathy Burge LLC. I putting it out there since somehow else had mentioned some random name associated with it.
Going to send them a chargeback, and contact Google shopping somehow, since I saw a search recommendation from them.
Contacted Shopify.com (where it was hosted I think), and didn't seem to have much info on why it was shutdown.
Luckily, I paid using Apple Pay so don't need to worry about CC# getting leaked.

Edit: Also, be patient. In their FAQs, they state:
Deliveries take on average 8-18 business days in some RARE occasions 20+ business days
So it may be taking a bit longer.
Shopify.com Beautiful site. No time. Cheap.
For shirt and mug designs, find a freelancer on upwork.com to take your ideas and make the renderings look nice/what they look like in real life.
Good luck!
Shopify isn't really a marketplace like ebay/amazon. I wouldn't count it as a single source of sales- you can't go to shopify.com, search for a parka, and see a list of sellers who have a parka for sale.
I agree with everything else, though. The splintering of the marketplace has killed my local sales. I can't be on craigslist, facebook, letgo, mercari, etc all at once and have it be worth my time.
There's no 'merchandise' we suspect. It's just some photoshoped images and a checkout. Traffic is driven in by dirty SMM. Please also report that site to shopify.com - platform he uses to accept payments.
It depends on what our trying to accomplish. A store front (Brick and Mortar) space or building does not have an average cost to purchase. In your area you can look up what the Square Foot cost would be when renting retail space. Google commercial rental or retail rentals in your area. This will give you a good idea of what your locations sqft price would be. They charge in month or year prices. Usually monthly is around 2 to 10 dollars and yearly is that times 12.
ecommerce does not have a storefront. So that would be Zero. However, they do have other costs that are minimal like the cost of web hosting or domain purchase prices. Also the cost of maintenance (Upkeep) on the website and other fees like receiving payments and digital marketing (SEO, Email Campaigns, etc).

Hello, I am Daniel, Co founder of Xpagefy , please do not be alarmed it is actually legit , and there is nothing suspicious about it, its the same way shopify.com's affiliate system and many site hosts with affiliate system work . You are not supposed to build the website for free, since you are already a freelance web developer who already uses wix , shopify or squarspace to build websites for a fee , we are offering you an incentive to build the website using Xpagefy and earn an extra commission for doing this .
Here is an example: Customer orders a website from you, you build it using Xpagefy and take a fee for your services , and then for using or referring them to our platform you get 15% of the subscription fee each month they stay on , making it a win win for you . There is nothing MLM about this, just a way to promote our new platform effectively and offer a mutual opportunity to freelancers . I hope this was clear enough .
After you place your order you will get an email receipt.
It will be from [email protected] <== That is not ThanOshop.com
You are screwed. Contact shopify.com.
Contact your CC.
If you used Paypal, you have to wait 10 days. :/

There are many options to your question such as shopify.com, ebay.com and others.
I'd strongly suggest to start off with a 3rd party platform such as shopify, give yourself a timeline of when to analyze sales productivity while also building upon your marketing efforts with the use of social media. Then evaluate and optimize according to activity.
Once you're successfully turning a profit in selling products online, then consider a website of your own to therefore have a brand to build upon and in time cut out the middle man services.
Having your own website these days do not require you to be tech savoy, as there are several solutions available on the market that comes complete with a template, hosting, shopping cart and even domain.
Feel free to hit me up anytime for insight and guidance, with no sales pitch, just happy to help as I have worked in online marketing for 20 years as a consultant. (hard to believe where the time has gone. lol)
Sure bro which part do you want to know. I can explain bit by bit as it will be a long write if I explain it in detail.
If you are new and interested into eCommerce, I can suggest you check out shopify.com first.
Hope this help.
Confirm Milkpoyle words. I have personally tried and registered with the same email address / credit card. In the case if you need temporary pause the store, Shopify can do that. Your store will be frozen for the price $14 / month.
When you start a new trial use this link Shopify.com/offline You'll have 30 Days free trial instead of default 14 days. Tried and it works.
Hey!
Shopify will be one of the most convenient way of running your business. Moreover Shopify have many options for customization, but of course with some limitations as it's a SAAS platform.
Additionally, there are many apps available for Shopify in order to increase your store functionality by implementing free or paid apps. And, secondly, you can choose any theme you like (some of them are free) and customize it to fit your business.
So if you are looking for some simple ecommerce platform, then you can try it for free during 14 days trial period.
According to many sources Shopify is one of the most popular platform to start your business. If you have never tried something similar, then I personally recommend you to try as they have 14 days trial period.
What I personally like in Shopify is the ability to add new apps for functionality increase. For instance, in case you are looking for pre-order function and you don't want to be involved in some techy things, then you can simply install this:
That's one of the examples about how it's easy to add something new to your Shopify Store.
Also there are tons of themes available which allows you to customize your Store and make it unique. Of course there are some limitations in Shopify, but it's not a big problem and can be solved in many cases.
Hey kaior,
You can compare all mentioned platforms using Google Trends tool. As you can see Shopify is still one of the most popular SAAS which allows you to start business immediately.
Due to flexible customization options many people prefer Shopify than any other. So, as one of the Shopify Apps developers we recommend you to try it.
Greetings,
I understand that you've already launched your Crowdfunding Campaign and it's a little bit late for such changes, but I know there is an app available at Shopify store to manage such things. So next time you will be able to turn your whole store or some particular product pages into a crowdfunding platform and manage donations or pre-orders easily for various campaigns:
In fact it's one of the successful ways if you already have your Shopify store.
Shopify is one of the greatest solutions, especially for new business owners. With a help of this, you'll be able to make implement new features easily often without any knowledge in HTML & CSS.
What I personally like in Shopify is a big number of Themes and Apps available at their Store. Most of them are free and significantly improve your webstore.
So considering your question: in most cases you'll be able to customize your webstore by yourself, but if you have some idea and would like to develop something unique, then you can always rely on Experts.
Hey,
Compare both platforms using Google Trends. As you can see Shopify is the most popular and trusted solution with lots of advantages over Bigcartel.
There are several reasons for that:
Hey Ledbaseline,
I'm sure you'll receive all benefits while using Shopify.
What concerns your question: this rule can be configured using standard Shopify features.
Every product you'll have at your store have their own price. Every variant for this product will also have their own "additional" price. So you need to setup a price for every variant (like color and width) and your main product.
So the finish price depends on previously selected variants.
In addition, there is an app, which can fit your requirements:
