Even with their loss in World Cup, Japanese fans cleaned up the stadium and Japan team cleaned up the locker room spotless leaving a thank you note.
They are really people with very good ethic values. These type of values is not only about talks, they really put it into actions.
If it was Brunei fans and team, after losing a match I wonder if our people will do such.
I'm sorry for reposting but I actually posted this on a late Sunday night and it was actually a terrible timing.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.makanmana.android
So I just made an app that randomly picks a place to eat according to which area you’re looking for. For now, the only ones I added are Gadong and Berakas (More specifically around the Mall and the Aiport Mall area). More places will be added soon cause solo data entry for this thing is tiring as hell lol but you dont need to update the app for the updated list and there will be notifications if new places are added. ((Be nice to me pls)) There will be more features added in the near future. Have fun!!
Went jungle-trekking with several friends. Found a nice silent spot and told them they can leave without me. Did a 1.5-hr meditation following the techniques of Yogananda.
Feel mentally refreshed after meditation. Observe myself thoroughly and quietly listen to the sound of my own breathing. Realize I am actually not alone but what is me is made up of trillions of cells. Each cell is a life form by itself. The biological reality is that trillions of lives are working every second to keep me in best shape.
Since it is the desires of trillion of lives that I perform at my best, then I should steer my life to the best as I could.
It is a very good life practical book. Steve Jobs was the founder of Apple, now the world's biggest company in market cap. Before his death Jobs planned his own memorial service. Attending the memorial services were leaders of tech industries and billionaire tycoons.
Everyone attending Steve Jobs memorial service, including the caterers, the artists and also Larry Ellison, the planet's 10th richest man, received a gift. Inside was the book of Yogananda, an Indian yogi born 125 years ago and a master of meditation. It is a book Steve Jobs read during his teens and had since attached to it to the end of his life.
It is a book about self-realization, a guide on how to realize something that you hadn't thought much about but that something is very essential to a healthy mindset in life. A combination of techniques on how to explore deep into yourself and build a strong will for the betterment of your life.
Here comes another freebie from the Epic Game Store called The Witness, a first person puzzle game where you make lines and is a real head scratcher from the time I played it. It also a very pretty looking game.
Seeing that the topics of self-quarantine and social distancing are pretty hot atm, might as well post something light-hearted.
Does anybody know about this Nasi Katok Please mobile game? I just found out on facebook. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=asia.pixelated.nasikatokplease

Another set of free games! First one's called Deponia the complete journey, a collection of zany point and click games from Humble Bundle and then a free game from the Epic Games Store called Jackbox Party Pack 1, a fun party game that you and friends can play using mobile phones to interact with the game.
>have you ever consulted HM?
No, they don't. They even banned alcohol when HM was overseas. He wanted to overturn it but due to protect his image and reputation, decided to let it be.
They'll take the opportunity whenever they can to implement these rules behind the scenes. Worst than Syaitan I tell you! and they're supposed to be the good guys?
Another day, another free game and this time it's an awesome looking and pretty fun top down strategy brawler called Transistor, a game that's not only solid in terms of combat but great art style too. A must play for sure IMO.
Today's the last day, forgive the pun, to get the Last Day of June on the Epic Game Store, an emotional 3rd person vaguely time travelling story with the theme of grief.
I played this already and I'd recommend it, it's not too long, probably around 3-4 hours IIRC depends on if you can figure the puzzles out fast.
2 free games this week. First one is called Toonstruck from gog, available for 2 days since yesterday. Seems like a point and click with a character from the real world entering a cartoon world and that character? He's played by Christopher Lloyd, great Scott!
Then from the Epic Games Store is a fun pixel art filled bullet hell dungeon crawler game called Enter The Gungeon, supposedly a must play and reviewed highly. Available for 2 weeks IIRC.
Battlefield 1's French DLC is free for probably a limited time.
I'm guessing BF2018's coming soon and they're pulling off a BF4 farewell with BF1 by giving away all the DLCs for free over time.
I personally recommend getting the DLC as not only because it's free, but that they did quite a good job with this DLC with the beautiful and good maps, usable new weapons and how the soundtrack for the DLC is top-notch. As for the game itself, it's a very polarizing game among its own fanbase and I recommend that one should research thoroughly of its gameplay before buying.
I understand how insensitive and busybody some of them can be without thinking about others' feelings and pride. You might want try researching and practicing cognitive appraisal. It's where you re-frame your mind and interpret the negative remarks and unhelpful opinions by those people as something positive and helpful. May seem unrealistic, fake and difficult at first but it works by turning your thoughts/opinions about what they said into something positive. It's a convenient delusion since you change your destructive negative thoughts into helpful positive thoughts. What you think you become. If you think negative about it, then you become negative and filled with unhelpful thoughts about yourself. What they say are neither negative nor positive objectively. You can interpret negative opinions/remarks into positive thoughts. Humans are blinded by the negative things we think and see and we put great emphasis on that and are consumed by negativity before we can even think positive. You may think that they are getting on your nerves for no reason but what if what they say have a much greater meaning and reasoning behind it that they are just trying to help you or the society by provoking and compelling you into actions that might be beneficial for you and others or what if they are just lonely, wanting attention and empty conversation from you so they try to make you irritated and frustrated with bold and sarcastic comments? Even the most negative things they might say can be interpreted as positive and helpful for you (in your mind that is) so you can be less affected by it. If straight-up mindless stupid and negative, then try not to associate with them, ignore and avoid.
tl;dr cognitive appraisal might help you interpret negative opinions from others as positive and helpful thoughts for you.
I am using ExpressVPN, paying monthly for it. There is no paid version of it sadly.
Enables me to watch Netflix from varying countries which is the top reason I chose it. It is easy to use, just choose the country of your choice with no manual setup required and also their customer support replies quick, in my case it only took 10mins for them to reply to my enquiry.
Speeds closely match your chosen Telbru Bandwidth and your location will reflect your chosen country.
Edit: added an extra S to ExpressVPN.
I've been using spotify for almost a year, you do need vpn but I use TunnelBear on my phone to log into spotify once every 14 days (?). So you don't really need vpn all the time.
As for Netflix it runs well, smooth and doesn't need vpn. Haven't used it much (3 months) but my experience has been great so far.
no to little effort for the front page cover. https://www.shutterstock.com/image-photo/business-technology-internet-network-concept-young-1643384590
It will be a bloody affair. According to the leaked American CIA report, "Sultan has quietly committed his government to pay the ongoing cost f the UK military presence, which we understand will soon approach 60 million pounds"
"the agreement provide the Sultan with a rebate when the Gurkhas are deployed outside of Brunei, as they recently have been to Afghanistan."

Here's some free gifts just before days of Raya. Currently as of time of post, I'm not able to redeem it on my end but you can try on the Epic Launcher.
From the epic games store is City of Brass, a first person game where you explore randomized dungeons, reviewed quite highly. Available for 2 weeks.
Then from steam is a neat lil 3D platformer called Kao The Kanga. Available only today but free to keep forever.
This is the second day I've posted my survey here because there is no enough responses for a reliable analysis (hopefully that is not illegal), it's about how aware are Bruneians on renewable energy ~~cuz the world is running out of oil anyways so we better prepare to save up money for a flat with solar panels in Malaysia or something~~
Shoutout to all the people that has answered the survey, the insights are great. Thank you!
For any questions or suggestions, don't hesitate to contact me in the comments or my email [email protected], your response will be highly appreciated. PS sorry for the bad Malay translation of the survey, Malay isn't my native language.
I personally prefer Spotify, and I read somewhere they're negotiating to buy Soundcloud which would hopefully mean their library gets added to spotify one day if it goes through.
As mention below, use a VPN to create a US account. If you don't have one, try download Betternet which is free and might do the trick, not tested since I have a VPN but don't see why it wouldn't.
I signed up to a free 3 month trial some time ago and canceled a day before. It was a promotional trial offer. Currently there's only 30 days
After my 3 months trial ended, I created a new account, started another 30 day free trial, and followed by old account and added my other account's playlist to my new account. If you're not too picky about playlists and having to spend 5 mins to do this every now and then, you could enjoy premium features for free.
Been using this Apps for a while now. It allows you to play audio via ear speaker(the one you would use for phonecalls) i used it to listen to podcast when earphones not available. And i did get a weird look using it in public or in a car LOL.
They can, and take another global reputation hit.
But what's the point? People will find another medium again to discuss things. You can't ban all websites in the world unless you close up the country.
Many people forgot that there are more than 10,000 religions worldwide, though the big five alone account for 84%.
There is nothing wrong embracing any of them, but I personally feel Abrahamic religions are too monopolizing. Why? The central tenet of Abrahamic religions is that you should worship the one and only God, else you will go to hell. They all have tough apostasy laws in the Books, just that the Christian and Jewish societies have undergone sweeping changes and modernization they no longer punish those who leave.
By comparison, Dharmic religions like Hinduism and Buddhism do not have apostasy rules. Heck, there are 33 million Gods in Hinduism! People shifting from one God to another all the time, for thousands of years they are used to it, the so-called 'apostasy' to them is as normal as eating a meal.
Same for Japan's Shinto. They have 8 million Gods. Chinese folk religions also have countless number of Gods, the Chinese temple in Bandar, if I'm not mistaken, have statues of more than 50 Gods.
Buddhism similarly has no concept of heresy or apostasy. People are free to leave the religion anytime. It is all about you yourself, what you think is the best way for you to achieve enlightenment. Your own life, you should strive for your own self not dedicated to serve God.
And of course, some religious cults have strict apostasy laws too, you leave you will be killed, something like that.
Brunei, as in many parts of the world, started from tribal religions, folk religions, animism, then Hindu / Buddhism, then Islam. This is not forever, you will never know if 1,000-2,000 years later it will still be Islam, or if some new world religions founded and Bruneians embrace them.
There will be a documentary night by 1StopBrunei on 13th March, at Entrepreneurship At Campus, 1st Floor, Student Affairs Building in UBD, from 7.30 PM. More information on their Instagram post.
HM hasn't lot a smile shaking all these kids hands while the crown prince is already frowning. Wonder how it's gonna be when he takes over the country.
Even if he does hand the reins to the Crown Prince, however, Sultan Hassanal will continue to call the shots from behind the scenes. Despite having been long groomed for the role of monarch, the Crown Prince is generally not considered to have yet developed the same intellectual or leadership qualities as his father. We have, for example, found that he refuses to engage in substantive discussions on foreign policy, probably due to a lack of self-confidence. Under these circumstances, it is likely that both the Crown Prince and the nation will welcome a continuing policy role for Sultan Hassanal. https://wikileaks.org/cable/2007/10/07BANDARSERIBEGAWAN301.html
I can already imagine.
OMG. Some of the reports are hilarious!
"SEVERAL SOURCES SUGGEST THAT THIS IS THE YEAR THE SULTAN WILL NAME PRINCE BILLAH, HIS OLDEST SON (BY HIS FIRST WIFE), THE CROWN PRINCE AND HEIR-APPARENT. THIS WOULD END THE OCCASIONAL MILD SPECULATION THAT THE SULTAN MIGHT BREAK WITH TRADITION AND NAME HIS REPORTEDLY HIGHLY INTELLIGENT SON BY HIS SECOND WIFE, PRINCE 'ABDUL 'AZIM, CROWN PRINCE INSTEAD OF BILLAH, WHO IS VERY MODESTLY ENDOWED IN THE BRAINS DEPARTMENT. WE BELIEVE TRADITION WILL PREVAIL AND BILLAH EVENTUALLY WILL BE NAMED, DESPITE THE SULTAN'S GREAT PRIDE IN PRINCE 'ABDUL 'AZIM, WHICH I PERSONALLY OBSERVED"
Oh and in that link, you will also find the discussion of hudud. Yes, hudud was discussed as early as 94.
I'll continue to read the treasure trove of information contained in the leaks.
Please do not go to w3schools! The only reason it's on top of google result is because everyone is clicking on them. w3school does not have anything to do with World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). Go here: https://www.freecodecamp.org/ (FCC), and here: https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/ (MDN) instead. They're both free. FCC outlines the curriculum, and everything you need or want to know is documented on MDN.
disney+ tidak berbaloi. Tapi kalau masih kan melanggan, guna VPN di telefon untuk melanggan.
Contoh, ExpressVPN di telefon. Lokasi USA. Melanggan disney+ menggunakan akaun Epal. Aku sebulan saja hari atu liat Mandalorian. Masa ani inda lagi ku melanggan.
hi anyone knows any good vpn service for android/ios that connects to Malaysian server? If possible one that's free cuz only wna use it for a specific purpose once.
EDIT * UPDATE *: Thank you for all your suggestions, ExpressVPN has Malaysian server and worked wonderfully. Now it's time for me to enjoy spotify premium using malaysian acc for only RM15.90/month courtesy of u/jasoline for the hack.
For me, its worth it as I devour content worldwide that isnt available or blocked here. Some tech websites are blocked here if I am not mistaken which boggles me.
The service is seamless, which creates no hassle.ExpressVPN is available in many platforms and only requires one license.
I have tried a few and they worked with accessing Netflix of other countries, ExpressVpn is highly recommended, follow by VyprVpn then StrongVpn (I didn't quite like their Gui). Torguard, you would have to pay for specific country access to their Netflix collection but their annual subscription is cheap for just VPN

PS: Stay away from PIA, Nord or any other that has not existed for more than 3 years. Always read reviews before signing up. Also make use of their free trial before committing, the sale is still on tomorrow

Building facing UNISSA and its football field, it is also the Maktab Duli back road.
Their contact no is 2422493.
Friend is teaching there, I believe the next intake is at the end of the year though.
I'm assuming this is where it all started:
17. (C) As the Islamic revival in Southeast Asia that began in the 1980's has spread, the Sultan's risk-averse nature makes him less likely to go against public sentiment by opposing the clerics. He will not necessarily push for Islamic rigor, but neither will he push against it. The classic case occurred in 1991, when the State Mufti convinced one of the Sultan's brothers to approve a ban on alcohol sales while the Sultan was overseas. Sultan Hassanal was reportedly furious, but decided he could not appear to be "un-Islamic" by overturning the edict, which remains in force
Not necessarily. You can have a secure server without https but the connection between the server and the user is vulnerable to sniffing, interception or tampering.
If you are setting up your own linux VM, you can get free SSL from let's encrypt or you can use cloudflare as your DNS provider and get free SSL and CDN.
That's tough. I don't know much about windows, but you probably have to buy Windows 7. You can't really downgrade from 10 to 7, as they're actually a different OS. Either you buy, or download a cracked (illegal) and virus prone windows 7. Your other and safer option is to install another, but free OS (linux) such as Elementary OS, but you won't be able to run any windows programs, though there are many good replacement for that such as LibreOffice to replace MicrosoftOffice.
A bit more digging. Going to the ISSU link in the email I found this. You'll need Flash to view the document but if you turn to page 2 it lists Brunei institutions that they have contacted including the aforementioned Abraham Davidson. Here is the full list
Down the rabbit hole we go!
I've done all the countries listed as Sovereign nations (according to Wikipedia) started in Afghanistan and have worked my way down! The country that surprised me the most was Angola--it's been my favorite, it was really delicious! If you're at all interested in my reviews/recipes of countries I do have a tumblr :) I keep it updated with pictures and reviews as quick as I can! https://www.tumblr.com/blog/gastrogeography
Some good ones like ExpressVPN yes. Currently using Surfshark, while I can connect to that particular country’s library, but the movies ‘macam’ limited. I guess the vpn is already detected. It used to work fine until recently.
How to bypass this issue?
I'm trying to buy the Netflix mobile plan which was available when I was in Malaysia. The reason is I rarely watch Netflix and it's always just on my phone. The plan only costs RM17 compared to if I buy the basic plan RM37. So there's a huge difference and I'm a cheapskate :')
The card connected to my netflix account is still my Malaysian account, my phone number is Malaysian number as well. I tried using NordVPN (free trial) and connect to Malaysia but still the plan doesn't show up. Any way to make it show up?
Anyone know where I can get this anti hair loss shampoo locally?
I'm just trying to prevent hair loss in my early 20s, been having thinning hair for a while now and it's getting to me mentally :(
Just an FYI for manga fans, if you read OP or wanna read other kinds of manga legally and officially(not full chapters, some series have gaps unless you sub for $2 a month I think), check out MANGA Plus by SHUEISHA on Android, not sure on iPhone
Not sure if it is a social media platform but it can be used to play games like the one you mentioned, except maybe SpyFall ^^;; Check it out if you want~
Check out /r/VPN for VPN reviews and recommendations. Never use a free VPN
I personally pay for AirVPN as it allows me to create a custom VPN on both my android and my laptop.
>i'm confused with the price per month with X year thing
Usually they'll price it like:
12 months for $12 aka $1 per month
Or 6 months for $10 and so, $1.67 per month.
So if you use the 12 months offer, you will pay for 12 months straight away and can only cancel at the end of the period.
I would recommend just paying for one month at first until you can find a VPN that suits you.
> I haven't tried this, but this one is even cheaper by signing up to Spotify Philippines:
>Just need to VPN to a philipino IP address.
So i just tried this.. I have a Philippine Spotify account. I used VyprVPN(1GB free monthly) to get to a Philippine ISP... and yes my spotify works.
I then created a new paypal account. It asked for email and password for step 1
Step 2 is kinda difficult, it asks for a Philippine Cell Number,
A National Philippine ID( passport or drivers license)
and a Philippines billing address. Postal Code is 4114 if need to know.
then adding a debit card is easier. I added my Baiduri International Debit Card Visa. and it recognised right away it was a VISA.
next am gonna try to buy premium.
I was wondering vaguely about internet censorship. Does it just block stuff about the royal family or does it interfere with foreign news sites generally?
Do you have any VPN recommendations? I used StrongVPN when I lived in China a few years ago but I'm curious about Avast's VPN as well...
The censorship doesn't really go that far. It isn't like China. As far as I know they only block access to some of the popular porn sites and maybe a few others that are 'immoral'. The censorship here is more systemic where it is difficult to get information or transparency about more sensitive topics. Also asking the wrong questions or saying the wrong things may get you into trouble.
Personally I have used Private Internet Access VPN (PIA). Server locations are pretty good and the service is pretty great. Their privacy policy remains one of the best in terms of protecting your information. I have been using them over 5 years without any problems. does an annual review of VPNs that you can read through for more information.
Use this VPN service by a Japanese university instead. Hotspot Shield will require you to pay after the Elite trial subscription ends and the free version will not allow you to torrent either.
I've updated my game (Box-It) with more levels! It should provide about an hour of play... if you're good with logic problem solving puzzle. Try it and leave a review~
By the way only on Android for now...
As mentioned by others, video games so far is ItsyBytes though I'm not sure if they are active... for a video game studio, they are very quiet and has very little update.
As for animation, there are Ambuyart and TrueVector. Again not much update on what they are doing... Ambuyart seems to be concentrating on 2D animation though.
I'm a freelance one-man game developer while I take care of my kid. Published my first game on Google Play (Box-It!) and it's slowly gaining more download. Will update the game more but why am I saying this? Well I'm from a programming background. Further study into animation and now I've self-studied in game development. It's not easy but it's possible if you are really interested. You'll need to find that passion of what you want to do and find out how to do it. A good CV is something that showcase you to be multi-skilled and self-motivated. The rest is best depending on what you want to do with your life.
First, to those studying O levels, do check this out. Some group of Bruneians made that app. Quite handy, I think.
Second, ever gone a day or a week without saying lol, haha, lmao, rofl and the likes of it? Then here's a challenge to do that now! Post how long you can last without using those words. (side effect: everything you say suddenly sounds so serious)
Hi. Any context on this website? I've never heard of it :) It's only been saved twice on the Internet Archive, so that didn't really help me haha
yee you love laksa? I love it too! Come on down here to KB if you've got time, we could really need some local tourist here as well :)
NordVPN. Usually use the US server for Disney+. But I hop around countries when it comes to Netflix options. Like US Netflix have Supernatural & Criminal Minds & Turkey Netflix have the whole Harry Potter series (last time lah, not sure now).
As the others have mentioned, buy direct from the website. You can also check out CyberGhost and IPVanish.
I had some issues with Surfshark where the buttons wouldn't work and they suggested to install another VPN service and use Surfshark's activation code. Your mileage may vary but I wouldn't recommend.
I'm using Fedora for my personal laptop and Windows with WSL on my work laptop. Waiting for my new work laptop to change that to Fedora as well.
I'm using NordVPN and I just use their cli to connect to VPN. It's a bit slow to connect at times probably due to the same UNN issue.
hello, does anybody know where to get a ground loop noise isolator? something like this: https://www.amazon.com/BESIGN-Ground-Isolator-Stereo-System/dp/B06XQYN77L?dplnkId=7e51420a-22b3-4866-8afc-68f2f8edd312
thanks in advance!
One can read "Brunei Days" by Capt TS Monks, a British officer seconded to the Australian Army when they landed in Brunei after liberation. He wrote an account of it:
"There was hardly a building left standing. The main street (Jalan Sultan) was a mess of bomb craters and fallen telegraph poles. There was not a soul in sight anywhere. It was a shattered ghost town.
All the main buildings had been demolished or were far beyond repair. The Government Office was leaning to the point of collapse. The State Council building had only its front facade left. The hospital had been reduced to rubble, and so had every single shop."
The most visible building left in the town was the Chinese temple. It was said that the Chinese temple was spared because it hosted Guan Yin statue. Guan Yin is a very popular deity in East Asia, a Taoist Goddess, a Buddhist Bodhisattva, a Shinto deity, her statues are all over Japan too. In Japan she is known as Kannon, several of Tokyo's oldest temples, like the Sensoji Temple, are dedicated to her. So it is easy to see why the Japanese didn't destroy or blow it up. The Allied also avoid avoid religious sites in their bombings.
Saw someone in sg reddit talk about melatonin gummy like this..Can i get something similar here? Been looking to fix my sleep schedule lately
Well... talking about badminton and Brunei, I found this book that might be somehow related (or could just be a coincidence). It's in Japanese though.
Singapore has a great parking app: Parking SG where you can book/pay for parking lots thru the app.
Expecting such an app here is a longshot, but there should be a better way to settle parking charges rather than having to waste time going to a booth to pay. Haven't they heard off parking meters or coupons?
Use wrist band. Bali rah mr diy. Looks like this.

Does VPN work on mobile data? I'm just realizing I usually use VPN on wifi network only but never on mobile data. I tried to turn on my VPN just now on mobile data and it won't connect.
I'm using ExpressVPN
Then please reach out to someone else. If you can't talk to someone in Brunei try posting in subreddits like /r/offmychest, /r/KindVoice, /r/Anxiety, /r/Anxietyhelp, /r/getting_over_it/, /r/HaveHope/, /r/mentalhealth, /r/MMFB etc... You could also try online therapy. Better Help is quite well known though it's not free. 7 cups is free though I don't know if it's any good.
Don't give up hope!
That is difficult to know. Consider this cable about hudud: https://wikileaks.org/plusd/cables/94BANDARSERIBEGAWAN318_a.html Even some of the government servants could not have imagined the Syariah laws being implemented today. We can only speculate.
When political power is concentrated in a very few secretive bureaucrats belonging to opaque institutions, it is difficult to make predictions of what may result.
Also consider the perceived inefficiency and incompetence of the Bruneian governement in carrying out most projects. Putting ideologies into full practice without learning how the real world works will encourage self denial, blaming others, and ideology patching projects that make no economic sense to those who think.
You can type in Google chrome or any browser wa.me/6731234567 and it will open a WhatsApp chat to +6731234567 without needing to save in your contact first.
Or you can install the following app (small, lightweight, no ads) and you can open WhatsApp chat to any number without needing to save first in contact.

Nope, I become wary of a company if its market value exceeded $500bn. This article tells it all. It is not an investing rule, just the psychological part of you that think it has 'grown too big'.
Look at Exxon Mobil, Microsoft, PetroChina, Cisco, GE, Intel after they breached that level. Recently, Google also seems to stagnate after hitting that.
I used to use this method for saving, my main debit account is where all transactions happen and then a separate savings account with a higher interest rate for savings. For the layman, it's certainly a good start to saving but I felt it wasn't enough
I recently stumbled on https://www.youneedabudget.com/. This web-app and phone app is a godsend for budgetting. It uses a zero-based budgeting AND an envelope system for managing your money. An envelope system is basically the 'jar' analogy from this article, except instead of just 2 jars, you have multiple jars (or rather, envelopes) for each category of item you can think of i.e. car loan, rent, groceries etc and you only open up those envelopes to spend on those items you've budgeted for. A zero-based budget system means you give every single dollar a job to do instead of not knowing what you are saving your dollars for. This way you know for certain whether you're able to afford certain items or not on the go just by opening up your app.
YNAB also has its own philosophies to follow in order to make it work. Other than immediate obligations (rent, fuel, food etc), it encourages you think of what your "true expenses" are. True expenses are things you'd normally only need to spend on a couple times a year or once a year such as car servicing, tyre changes, insurance payments etc. It encourages you to remember these things and start saving for them by apportioning part of your income for it now so when these expenses do come up, it doesn't hurt to spend it as it comes up. It's certainly much easier to save up for new sets of tyres when you've been saving for them for a year rather than only thinking about it 1 or 2 months beforehand.
For anyone that cares on how best to financially manage their income, I do recommend checking the website out. They have a 4 month trial you can take advantage of and it's worthwhile reading up on the beginner's guide to YNAB or watch a youtube video on it to get started.
Idk if any of you are into personal finance and budgeting, but YNAB, the absolute best budgeting app out there is offering 1year free service for students.
Definitely take a look at it. Here's the link:
There are speedboats from the BSB jetty to Temburong.
Edit: see here for more info.
P.S. You may be able to sight crocodiles sunbathing on the riverbanks during your journey by speedboat.
I’m not sure how updated this route is. I couldn’t find it on the Min. of Comm. website nor the Min. of Transport website. This was taken from the Wikitravels’ Brunei Page
Shame it doesn’t have the bus timings.
That's just the tip of the iceberg.
You should read about MoRA on the ban of alcohol and how the church in Bandar was closed to being demolished.
This is the terrible way of stating the pros and cons.
Many of us using torrent not for just pirate content. Many big opensource project is using torrent to sustain their server bandwidth cost.
for example https://www.libreoffice.org/download/download/
I am also a linux distro tester, all major distro, I use torrent to download so that i can help to at least reduce their bandwidth cost.
your pros and cons, is very immature and clearly to show you are those kind of user to bring bad name to all other torrent user.
Not exactly basin but I found really huge storage containers with/without lids at a shop in Tutong, it's near Milimewah. Perhaps you can use this instead?
Free vpn is never good. Too much ads, limitations etx.
Better spend money on a good vpn like NordVPN. I just subscribed to their 2 year plan and it works wonders. Now im downloading piles of movies and UNN cant do anything to stop me.
UNN is really going backwards by blocking torrent but thats just the way things are right now.
Staying safe online is an ever growing difficulty and you could be exploited by hackers. NordVPN allows you to change your IP address, making you harder to track, securing your privacy.

I have it but I go through the apple payment route. So maybe there’s other way
It is quite complicated unless in the future Disney+ is available in Brunei. Maybe you can try to convince your daughter to go for Netflix instead which is less complicated. Though there is no Disney, Pixar, Marvel and Star Wars shows there
There are differences in contents in different regions. You can bypass it using ExpressVPN or NordVPN. However the big shows particularly produced by Netflix would be similar. Would say 80-90% similar
hello, anyone know where i can get this here in brunei? ring strap
where to get a ear piercer in Brunei?
Anybody interested in No Man's Sky on pc? I've got a voucher that adds 10% off to GMG's NMS price which is currently 50% off so it totals to 60% off if you buy it from that site. They're selling the steam version btw and if anyone wants it, let me know.
ive dealt with something similar.
theres always 5% chances of wrong items being delivered. which i dont mind anyway cause theyre technically cost me nothing.
you cant evade tax.
“Among fainter objects, it seems to be reported that slow meteors are red or orange, while fast meteors frequently have a blue color,” the AMS said. Source from the https://www.accuweather.com/en/weather-news/why-do-meteors-glow-in-vibrant-colors-2/433610
Facebook announced 2 billion user data maybe compromised yesterday. It could be due to this.
That's something that I will find out!
I am optimistic though. Note that increasingly many tech companies are moving to remote work. Gitlab (a full-remote company) appears to have taken down their compensation calculator, but it used to be 80k BND a year for an entry level software dev in Brunei (so about 6k++ a month, which is extremely comfortable in Brunei).
So if work can't be found locally, just going to have to work harder, get lucky, and apply internationally. The large tech firms in the US are used to paying 150k++ USD a year for their entry-level employees, moving up to 400k++ USD after 5-7 years of promotions. However, in Brunei even 30k USD a year is already a very comfortable salary, so I'm guessing that will be the main advantage - more expensive than outsourcing to India or Philippines, but cheaper than outsourcing to Singapore or Hong Kong.
We have to move away from the traditional metrics of more work hours == more productivity! As long as you get to finish your assigned tasks then you have no reason to feel guilty. If you really do want something to do then you can always ask for more, that'll boost your stocks for the next performance review 😂.
Personally, I don't like WhatsApp for work. It gets too personal and messy most of the time. Perhaps you can consider an online workspace like Slack which is what our team use. While day-to-day operations are slowing down, it's a good time to consider revisiting process improvements, clearing any task debts or overall boosting the efficiency of the whole office during WFH. That's some initiative that you can own rather than getting complacent!
On a final note, do consider hosting regular team calls! Not much to update about work but to catch up and do team-bonding activities. Transitioning to WFH is difficult and cutting off any human interactions immediately can lead to bad side effects, aka like your case of impostor syndrome.
Another free game from the Epic Games Store is Slime Rancher, a cute and rather relaxing kinda game similar to Harvest Moon where you farm slime monsters of different kinds. Free till 21st March.
Free game updates!
Today IIRC is the last day to get Antisquad some sort of Turn Based action game with a Team Fortress art style to it. This one you have to download from Indiegala.
Then from the Epic Game Store is Thimbleweed Parkk a point and click game which is kinda reminiscent of X-files. This one should be free for a few weeks before another free game takes its place.
Another freebie from the Epic Games Store called Axiom Verge, a castlevania kind of game but the point IIRC is to break the game you're in and glitch through things.
I order a lot of cheap books from Book Depository, you learn some things. LOL
I actually go to the MPC regularly enough to actually know the people behind the counter well. I bring them snacks and drinks sometimes. Being nice is just a good thing to do in general.
I want to make a survey on how aware are Bruneians about renewable energy (fingers-crossed this is the right place to put). Sorry for the bad Malay translation of the survey, Malay isn't my native language.
If you have any questions or suggestions, don't hesitate to contact me. This is my first time creating a survey, so constructive criticism is highly welcomed.
It depends on the availability so you have to book early. If not, you'll just have to wait. I suggest you practice your speaking, writing, listening and reading skills using Collin's IELTS textbooks. You can download free pdf copies from https://libgen.is/
Sure bro which part do you want to know. I can explain bit by bit as it will be a long write if I explain it in detail.
If you are new and interested into eCommerce, I can suggest you check out shopify.com first.
Hope this help.
If it's solely b2b then the approach is entirely different from my experience.
A sales funnel utilizing email marketing would be one way to go (see Mailchimp) as the team would need to approach each business owner at an individual scale rather than mass marketing. This will also be a good way of keeping in touch as a form of aftersales service.
SEO and all that stuff matters less if you want to attract businesses. Your target are business owners or managers. They're not going to spend their time on socmed a whole lot to find a business solution. Usually people will go with whatever's popular or through recommendation. You can make use of affiliate marketing for that too.
>Edit: Go to a legitimate country and buy deodorant for same price you pay. fakes have Al /etc. compounds can lead to movement problems (im srs).
Aluminium compounds in deodorant causing movement or brain problems is a myth (https://www.webmd.com/skin-problems-and-treatments/features/antiperspirant-facts-safety)
Try puush instead. All you have to do is sign up and install a small non-intrustive app/program and you can upload anything at a click of a button and have the link straight on to your clipboard.
Everything uploaded is anonymous from the looks of it and no one except puush knows that it's tied to your account.
I'm quite new at it as well, about 4 months in! Theres tons of resources available online and even more inspiration available on the internet, keep going bud!
If you're curious, its all made in Cinema4D, which is specialized for motion graphics. Theres a free 3D modelling program that people can get pretty decent results with, or even AutoDesk Maya which is pretty much industry standard for 3D animation. But C4D is the easiest for me to use, so I stick with it!
