You could install SnapCamera ( https://snapcamera.snapchat.com/download/ ) and take the camera feed from that? It has lots of make up style filters, although I prefer a viking helmet myself
Eventually you have to do the presentation. Do you not like doing it with other students watching? Would you do it in person, either just for the teacher or to the whole class?
Many online meeting programs let you blur or change the background.
Can you wear a hat and glasses so you feel hidden?
If you're on a full PC, maybe try a program like https://snapcamera.snapchat.com/ to put Snapchat lenses on you to look different.
Can you record it offline and send that video just to the teacher?
Try to arrange the lights so that a bright light behind you makes your face hard to see because then your face is too dark compared to the bright light. Or maybe a light facing directly at your face will make a super bright spot so the camera will have a hard time showing the rest of your face.
If you're on a computer, turn down the resolution of the camera.
Stand far back from the camera so your face is small.
Turn your camera sideways or upside down so you are turned on the video.
Maybe this is what you mean by “SNAP LENS”, but snap camera is the desktop app that lets you add snap lenses to your webcam feed. I don’t know the exact lens you’re talking about, but if you have the link to the lens, you should be able to just paste it into the search bar and activate it
- if you dont want to show your face, use snap camera https://snapcamera.snapchat.com/
- if you have a computer you can stream from, get a $20 hdmi-usb card on ebay or amazon, then use streamlabs to overlay webcam over game
oh! i'd recommend snap camera! my self esteem has soared now that i dont have to worry about how i look- it's available for most devices and you dont need to sign up or anything!
load Snap Camera and leave it running with the filter of your choice. it should output the same for signal to other software using the same capture device *i.e. zoom, teams, etc.
Snap camera by Snapchat. It acts as a camera source. So you run this app first, choose your filter, then on Zoom/Teams/Meet etc, you choose Snap camera as camera source instead of your webcam.
I re-installed SnapCamera and I still don't have the option in Discord or OBS. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong.
I downloaded the Snap Camera here: https://snapcamera.snapchat.com/download/
Do I need to use an external camera? I used a Logitech web cam and thats what I selected in Snapcamera settings. But when I open OBS, SnapCamera is not an option, Logitech is listed but he filters does not apply.
Per the eLearning Policy:
>Some eLearning courses require learners and teachers to convene at least once in real time. These meetings may take place in physical classrooms, in online chat spaces, through video conferencing or via other real time forums.
I believe that if you are not showing your face, you are not video conferencing. I'll hazard a guess instructors can require video feeds be turned on, unless there's a special circumstance to have the video off.
Showing your face is something you can get accustomed to just by doing it.
Would it alleviate any anxiety if you used a filter? For example, SnapCamera can be used with a variety of streaming platforms. While a filter might draw attention to you, there are filters that replace your face with a simulated one that shows your real facial moves. Cartoon is one such filter. You could experiment with filters, then record a short demo video clip, and then show the instructor that video and ask for permission to use the filter.
the only thing that comes to mind is Snap Camera https://snapcamera.snapchat.com/ . It lets you add filters and effects to your camera. Though I think it does add a little delay.
Snapchat themselves offer Snap Camera, which will use your actual camera and appear as an additional camera to windows apps, allowing you to apply the exact same effects as the snapchat app would.
traded my macbook 12 Core i7 7Y75 2c/4t series with macbook 13 2015 Core i5 2c/4t and the Virtual Background with no green screen is no longer possible.
I'm using snapchat camera to overcome this https://snapcamera.snapchat.com/

You can use this. You can add it in OBS just like you add a video capture device. It will say snap when you go to add it. Be warned, it’s a resource hog. More filters than backgrounds.
Sorry I don't have a key for you. I really hope you will get one.
There are some free options you can use in the meantime that are not as good as vcam.
https://snapcamera.snapchat.com/ is decent and has no watermark.
Using the desktop? Blurred backgrounds won’t be available until later this year. Blurring your face is not available and I doubt this will ever be available, provided most people don’t have the requirement to blur their face.
BUT, you can use https://snapcamera.snapchat.com/ which you can integrate with Webex. You can customize filters, including blurring your face.

It's optimized for both Snapchat and Snap Camera. You can put this link to Snap Camera search field to unlock it. By default Snap Camera view is mirrored, you can change it in settings. When you use conference call software as Zoom it won't be mirrored and text will look OK for other people. Open your mouth for text bubble.
Snap Camera, you just install it, restart Zoom and select Snap Camera as your camera. There are tons of effects in there including a black and white one.
You might be able to use lens studio from snap chat to create a filter that does this: https://lensstudio.snapchat.com
Then use snapcamera to utilize the filter: https://snapcamera.snapchat.com
I have not tried this.
It's Snap Camera https://snapcamera.snapchat.com/
The Application provides a virtual webcam you can select in Google Hangout, Slack, Teams, whatever. Get sure to restart your browser after install or it wont appear there.
Yeah, that's a snap filter (don't ask me why I know that) so for them to get it on their computer they had to download Snap Camera ( https://snapcamera.snapchat.com/ ) and turn on the filter and then go into the teams meeting. I don't think filters are built into Microsoft Teams.
If anyone wants to do it, I installed this yesterday to make my many many many meetings a little more fun. It adds Snapchat effects on desktop and then acts like a video feed for other apps.

Most of the filters are trash but some are fun. The potato one is the one it picked by default
Someone installed the Snap Camera app, launched it, set it to the potato filter, changed the web conferencing software to use that camera and not the built in default one, and this was done by “accident”.
(Btw there is a pickle version too)

Sure thing :)

Disclaimer: This isn't mine. Would be lovely to see someone hack this together with something like jitsi-meet so you could just send a link around and webcam chat with your friends with custom filters. DIY snap camera anyone?
I made this fun lens for the SnapCamera to help you to keep track of the days
Put all the essential information about your current mood, energy and stress lvls and etc on your screen , so your friends don't ask same questions again and again ;D
It saves your stats and also have a button to flip the frame if needed
It counts days since March 16 , when quarantine started in California.

Stay safe!
About the green screen, you can use a program that opens snapchat filters on pc, then use a filter that makes a green screen effect, it's not perfect but it works. (snapcamera)[ https://snapcamera.snapchat.com/ ]
