They made what appeared to be reasonable tactical decissions based on the data they had. Now as it turned out the 2017 election was so wierd that their decissions were efflectively irrelivant. Labour tried Corbyn's tactics in 2019. Labour lost 60 seats.

I’ve got both the Style Guide and the In Disguise packs and the In Disguise ones just feel a bit more special – maybe it’s the packaging and the extra accessories or maybe it’s the colouring. All together the In-Disguise pack is a really special set and in all of Neca’s work so far it probably tops the list across all their lines

Smaller towns like that are gold. We got 3 packs in, I took one on release day, and the other 2 sat there for the last month or whatever, until 1 more finally sold about a week ago. We also had an In-Disguise pack that never sold, though tbf the box was water damaged. The vendor finally removed it from the shelf.

My four pack from the haulathon I ordered on day one of release and it only just arrived yesterday in the UK.

The two pack in the image is the original sculpts, these have been improved massively in both the In-Disguise 4-pack and now the new Haulathon exclusive (we’ll see how exclusive that stays) “style-guide” 4-pack – based on the colour change and guide they introduced to bring more consistency to the turtles on the show and other mediums.

Keep an eye on Neca’s social channels like Instagram or I’d recommend following an account like ToyShiz to avoid missing out again.

Could be on the Style Guide packs, but that doesn't seem likely on the In-Disguise, because when it was first put out, it was spider-wrapped, then when reappeared after a week or two, it was no longer wrapped.

Weirdly we had two 4packs (after I bought one) put out last week... a few days later they were both gone. Then a few more days later, and they were both back. And it was definitely the same two, because I memorized the paint defects when I picked out mine.

We also had an In-Disguise pack that appeared, disappeared, and reappeared again. That one had a water-damaged box, so again, definitely the same item. I don't know if someone's buying them to flip, finding out it's not working, and returning, or what's going on.

$25 is a big jump -- it's a 20% increase, which is pretty high even for inflation.... plus the fact that there's so much less in the box than the In-Disguise set. Those two factors combined make it seem like NECA is exploiting the inflation situation to pocket higher profits, probably something they've wanted to do for a long time after seeing the money scalpers are making off their products.

With that said..... I don't begrudge anyone buying this set! It's basically the first time the Turtles are widely available for people to actually find and obtain. We've been waiting literally years for that to happen. And they look great.

Same, especially because there was a 20% toy Circle coupon a week or two ago. I kinda regret not getting a 2nd In-Disguise set for customizing --- I always wanted to do the Playmates colors on the NECA turtles (different shades of green for each brother)

In this situation, it means the color scheme (skin tone in particular) that Viacom declares the "standard" look of the OG cartoon turtles. So when 3rd parties license the cartoon turtles for their products (like FigPin) they all look the same.

That's why Donnie's bo staff is solid brown, even the fabric wrap - because whoever created the style guide imagery apparently didn't understand that the wrap wasn't part of the wood. So NECA copied it faithfully for the style guide set, whereas the In-Disguise set has the more sensible white wrap.

There are some variations of course, like how these SH Figuarts turtles have all chrome belt buckles, but the style guide have mostly black ones.

Dang $150? Looks like fewer accessories than the In-Disguise pack, so I guess it's inflation? But $25 increase is a way bigger % upcharge than any other product I've seen so far, not sure how they justify that.

Not saying I won't buy it tho....

Idk man, what's it been, like 5 years since the toon line started? In that time there have been 3 Target 7" variants, and countless Targets have seen essentially none of them. Like literally no turtles, the main characters, for the entire existence the line.

Ours had one box of each of the original four 2packs when the line first started. None since then. No color-guide variants, no In-Disguise, no re-releases. Zero main characters over the span of 5 years or whatever save for 4 boxes when it all started. Yet we're now overflowing with peg warming Mucks, Geckos, Frogs and Triceratons.

Like... yknow.... the actual Turtles, the heroes of the series. Not a single In-Disguise or regular Turtles pack on our shelves, ever. Yet we're overflowing with Muckman and Mondo. I don't know what they're thinking.

Through my first playthrough of DR2, I thought that Sonia was Junko in disguise. I didn't know how, I didn't know why, but I was absolutely sure I was right. When CH5 rolled around, I was like, "Oh! Obviously >!Junko-In-Disguise Sonia killed Komaeda! it makes perfect sense!"!< imagine my surprise when the actual twist was revealed. Honestly, it's probably why Sonia is my favorite DR girl, because on my second watch, I paid more attention to her character since I spent most of the game going "Yeeeeeeeah right, JUNKO" at every word she spoke.

Crestwood, IL Target and Orland Park, IL Target. The Orland location was PACKED with Neca stuff. At least 4-5 more Turtles-In-Disguise. A half dozen or more Mondo Gecko and Muckman (I passed…) Happy Hunting peeps!
