This is the device purchase season. A lot of you might've pre-ordered the Nexus 5X or 6P and are now looking forward to the day when it will be shipped.
AfterShip - Keep track of your incoming delivery with this app. Just enter the tracking number (once you have it) and this app will keep you notified whenever there's any status change. You no longer have to keep clicking the link in the mail every few hours.
Any recommendations for a good package delivery app? I've tried both Aftership and Deliveries.
Aftership used to be my favorite, I love the very simple interface but they recently switched to a different model where I have to sign up... not a big fan of that. Would rather pay and not have to do any kind of sign up.
Deliveries is okay, but it feels much more clumsy than Aftership. The UI is more cluttered, I don't like how it essentially "freezes" when it's refreshing, I don't like that I have to select the carrier (Aftership does it automatically after entering the tracking number) though maybe this is a paid feature, and the status updates and delivery date information is more difficult to follow than I feel it should be.
Anything better out there I can try?
AfterShip. I saw it in this subreddit a couple of weeks ago and figured I would try it out. I already had Pushbullet for copy/paste, so when I am on my PC I just copy tracking numbers. Then when opening AfterShip, it sees the clipboard and automatically asks if I want that tracking number added.
You need this app. You do have to create an account but you don't have to give it access to GMail. Then it will ping you just like if you had signed up for Informed Delivery through the USPS. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.aftership.AfterShip

I'm very interested in that "aftership" one but it says it's not compatible with all my devices (I'm from US). Any clue?
My tracking number also doesn't show anything on the website, but I'm using AfterShip to track it, and it seems to be able to get some info that the website doesn't have, so maybe give that a go
I leave this tip here for those who do not use Google Now but would still like package tracking.
Aftership is by far my favorite package tracker app. Works across most system all around the globe.
If you use this free package tracker (don't have to give it access to your email, can add manually, but if you do it will scan for tracking #'s) and then you'll get push notifications for deliveries as well as a dashboard of sorts in a list: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.aftership.AfterShip
I used to use AfterShipon iOS, but didnt bother reinstalling on android. From what I remember it was totally free and very accurate. Give it a shot.
I've been using this one. You have the option to use Gmail or not. I find it extremely helpful to use Gmail to automatically pick up tracking numbers.

Normal for them. I've ordered about a hundred things over the years and they've always arrived. Usually later than sooner. Install the AfterShip app to keep track of them
AfterShip - A fantastic way to track your packages and rather beautifully designed app.
Business Calendar - I'm in love with this great calendar app. It's so much better than anything else it there that I gladly paid for the unlock features.
Calculator - A robust material designed calculator.
Card Crawl - This us an awesome and fun card game where you play against the dealer who deals out four cards and you must combat, loot, or tip them to the dealer. Try the free game out and if you like it you can make a quick in game payment to unlock all the features.
CloudPlayer - This is my favorite music app. Has a solid equalizer, let's you download your songs from the cloud, and plays them from a number of online storage options.
EvolveSMS - By far the best SMS app out there. Great without buying anything but even better when you do. Unlock the ability to auto backup your messages and more. It's by the same guy that designed my favorite Twitter app, Talon, and is just as well defined.
Is it legal? - The dev if this app is awesome! This slick app will give you the break down, state by state, on what is legal to do in every state in the US. Just tons of near info to read through.
Metal - My favorite Facebook app/wrapper for Android.
Pintasking - This is like Link Bubble or Flynx except you can do it with apps as well (if you're rooted). Give it a try and see if you like it.
Release Date Reminder Best damn movie reminder app I've had the pleasure to use.

AfterShip - My favorite way of tracking packages. Provides helpful information, such as the shipping company's phone number, as well as immediate, up to date, information on where and when your packages will arrive.
Astonishing Comic Reader - I read a lot of comics on my phone and tablet and this one has become my de facto reader app. The use of my cloud services as storage has helped immensely.
Calculator - A beautiful material designed calculator app.
Comic Chameleon - For all my daily web comic needs, now if only they let me give them a few bucks to remove ads...
CritDice - Forgot my dice a few weeks ago and wanted something to use that was quick and simple. This fit the bill so well that I went ahead and bought the full feature set.
Horizon Chase - A solid racer with classic 16 bit graphics.
ProShot - This is a crazy good camera app.
Shooty Skies - Simple Galaga like bullet hell game.

Lol I am an idiot, the title is in the screen shot. It is AfterShip.
I setup my wife's iPhone, and her Android tablet with Pushbullet, and Google apps; Calendar, Spreadsheets, Docs, Keep, Drive (alt. Dropbox), Photos, YouTube, Maps, Search, Chrome, and Hangouts.
Other useful apps on both platforms are AfterShip (iOS | Android), our most banking apps are cross platform, whenever she needs to watch YouTube videos later/offline she can download them on iOS by visiting SaveFrom.net and copying the video url into the web form, or by simply adding SS to the front of the URL like this http://SSyoutube.com/watch?v=... in Safari/Chrome, and alternatively on Android there is OGYouTube or TubeMate.
It's nice because it covers all the shippers but it can be slow to update. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.aftership.AfterShip
