I also thought I will never need to buy iconpack again. Wrong, I purchased Funkong when it was on sale. Because apparently 30+ icon packs is not enough.
Those are great, thanks for them. I've also found Funkong Icons by sikebo. Really superb and very different. Handles non-themed icons better than most packs out there do.

I get what you are saying, this is a purchasing matrix. I personally choose not to buy into the kickstarter mentality. I will never buy Steam early access, kickstarter, indie gogo, etc. I understand people whose decision matrix likes the risk of hopes and wishes vs scams and failures, to each their own.

(I've had Funkong in my wishlist for months now so when I discovered that it's currently on sale from ₱94.00 to ₱19.00 (that's $1.84 to $0.37 for you guys), I just had to have it. Unfortunately the icons are soo intricate and soo beautiful, I had a hard time finding the right wallpaper for it. Gave up, decided to match them with a simple gradient wallpaper so they can really stand out, but decided to make my own for the lulz.

As a base but a lot of my icons are pngs I searched for on the web. Too many packs are missing something.

I prefer my home screen to not look cluttered so every icon is a folder and every folder has a secondary swipe action to launch another app

Used Funkong for almost a year now, nothing else even comes close in quality imo.

I like it how lots of people say that design is subjective. Well, it's not. There are designers that are paid good money to do their job. I wouldn't dream about going to an accomplished engineer and telling him that his work is subjective and that engineering is in the eye of the beholder.

Uniform size without using the same shape is really hard to accomplish, but not impossible. It just needs a lot of talent that individual app developers might not have.
