I got used to this browser on my S7 and I just can't use any other browser since then. Better UI than Chrome IMO but what's even more important is that you can use different ad blockers with this browser.
If anybody wanna try it, it's on the playstore:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.sec.android.app.sbrowser.beta
Finally. I know I could've downloaded it from APKMirror any time I wanted, but it's so much easier to just get stuff from the Play Store.
And I can confirm that it finally says that the app is compatible with my devices.

EDIT: My bad. Just read the description.
>Officially supported devices are all Samsung Galaxy and Google Nexus phones with Android 5.0 and above.
I saw this:
Hello. We are very sorry for causing you such inconvenience. This will be fixed in next 7.4 beta version which will be released at the beginning of July. Samsung internet will provide an option regarding this. Again, we are very sorry, and will do our best to provide you with a better browser. Thank you for your interest in Samsung Internet.
If somebody doesn't know, there is ability to watch YouTube in fullscreen on our devices by using Samsung Beta Browser. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.sec.android.app.sbrowser.beta&hl=pl
The new Samsung browser is incredible and has a floating bubble with some features and you have swipe gestures. Adblocker and other add-ons possible. Highly recommended
PlayStore Link else use the APK
For some reason they haven't updated the normal Samsung Internet app. Its available in the Samsung Internet Beta
The feature has been available since November 2021
Samsung Internet Browser Beta mainly has bottom toolbar navigation - the url bar still is at the top.
Bottom toolbar navigation on chromium based browsers is very device dependent, but generally not available on tablets.
PS
You can force bottom toolbar navigation in the Chrome browser(as well as Kiwi) but I wouldn't recommend it as it globally changes the display size for your entire tablet.
On my Huawei Mediapad m3 8.4" in settings with "Developer options" enabled I changed "Smallest width" from 640dp to 590dp.
600dp seems to be the pivot point where chrome switches from a phone UI to a tablet UI with tabs.
Then I enabled the flag:
chrome://flags/#enable-chrome-duet
& restarted chrome twice for the change to appear.
I also enabled
chrome://flags/#enable-accessibility-tab-switcher
which I prefer.
But be aware that it messes with all tablet display settings and you lose the tabs for a phone interface.
Your best bet might be Samsung Internet Beta.
Maybe Samsung Internet beta with Adguard
Maybe check if the beta version works for you, i can't install the browser on my op3 either but the beta is available. If you're fine with using a beta version of course.
This is possible to do with the Samsung beta internet app. It's super smooth. Download it in the play store and it should sync all your passwords from the regular Samsung Internet app.
You can swipe at the top or bottom to switch tabs.

Plus, it saves your passwords with a fingerprint if you want that functionality. I couldn't go back to chrome, this browser is way faster on my S7E. Even Samsung's Email app blows Gmail out of the water on my phone.
Hi! Use the Beta version of the app - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.sec.android.app.sbrowser.beta
For some reason they removed it from the Stable one but since it's in the Beta I guess they will (eventually) add it back.
Samsung Internet Browser has the option to block pop-ups and backward redirects, I sometimes use that with Blokada and it works great.

That's really interesting. Twitter loads fine on Samsung Internet 11.2.1.3 on my Galaxy S20 Ultra. Does it still crash for you when using Samsung Internet Beta?
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.sec.android.app.sbrowser.beta
If you install the beta for samsung internet, it will install a newer version: 10.2.00.53. I don't think it's the latest version of the app, but it will give you a newer version.
Play store. Just search Samsung Internet Beta. Or use this link https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.sec.android.app.sbrowser.beta
I don't think I had to sign up for anything. I think it should just be there. Let me know if that works.
You can access the beta from the play store at
If not - just download from apkmirror
Give Samsung Internet a try? (It was recently opened up to all Androids instead of just Galaxy phones.) Using Blink/Chromium as OP mentioned, but much better IMO and it syncs with Firefox accounts. I'm not sure if that's a Samsung Galaxy exclusive feature, but you can check by going into the Accounts section in your Settings app and seeing if you can add a Firefox account there after installing Samsung Internet.
Samsung Beta Browser w/Crystal ftfw.
Yes, I know we all hate Samsung apps but this browser of theirs feels so light and is fun to use. Pages load up very quick. And it doesn't hog the phones memory.
Chrome just displays way too many ads man. Especially all the websites Google now recommends. Opera had a bizzare user layout and feels sluggish like Firefox.

Try searching Samsung Internet

If not here's an apk

It's really good. It's based on chromium which Google and Samsung works on together. It much more lightweight 30 percent faster according to tests and has more useful features and built in extensions which could even be used to block ads.
Hell Yea I do. Hey there's a beta version of the Samsung browser, you should get it from the play store. It has a few new usability features.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.sec.android.app.sbrowser.beta
You can swipe life and right at the bottom and top to switch tabs. It's also cool just having two instances of the same browser if you like it. You get to have 100 tabs open!
Guys, it'll work in this version, not the pre-installed with the device.
Samsung Internet Browser is surprisingly good.

Samsung internet beta has extensions for adblockers and it's way better than Chrome imo
I hate to break it to you but the newest Beta brought back the video assistant.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.sec.android.app.sbrowser.beta
I'd recommend using Samsung Internet instead of Chrome
+1 for Sammy's Internet Browser Beta. It checked all your requirements.
I have the Samsung Internet beta (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.sec.android.app.sbrowser.beta) installed along side the stock Internet app with no issues.
the beta version of samsung browser https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.sec.android.app.sbrowser.beta
Had the same issue of tab ordering, install Samsung Browser Beta & it'll work fine.
Samsung Internet Beta. Best browser in Android, super lightweight and is exponentially faster than Chrome.
Yes. You can also try APK Mirror if for some reason it doesn't allow you to install it on your phone.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.sec.android.app.sbrowser.beta
No, sorry I wasn't clear. I meant the Samsung internet beta.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.sec.android.app.sbrowser.beta
Currently using SmartCookieWeb (on F-droid), but here's just a few others I think are worth checking out:
Samsung Internet
Soul Browser
Berry Browser
Via Browser
Uhm... There are many: SS browser, Soul Browser, Monument browser... Maybe there are more but I haven't checked yet
I'm on the latest beta, even though it's a beta version it's really stable.
I've recently started using Samsung Internet Browser Beta especially for its dark mode and reader mode.
PS
If you have a lot of chrome bookmarks you can install the Samsung Internet extension on your desktop chrome browser to be able to access them. [see GuidingTech]
I found it on the Play Store: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.sec.android.app.sbrowser.beta
Samsung Internet has everything you need
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.sec.android.app.sbrowser.beta
Looks like it has to be the beta version https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.sec.android.app.sbrowser.beta
You could try to install the beta from Google Play https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.sec.android.app.sbrowser.beta It's pretty much the same as release.
It also has an AdBlocker add-on
I have it running on my Nexus devices. Check apkmirror if you can't install it from the Play Store.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.sec.android.app.sbrowser.beta&hl=en
I don't have a video sample. But you can test it for yourself.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.sec.android.app.sbrowser.beta
I personaly use the beta. Until recently, the actual internet app looked outdated and lacked some features the beta did. Not sure if there are any differences between the beta and the actual app anymore.
